推广T矩阵法来研究二组分颗粒复合介质的非线性交流响应,解析推导出基频、三次及五次谐波频率下的有效线性介电常数及三阶和五阶非线性极化率的解析表达式.当组分颗粒的介电常数为实数时,表达式同以前微扰理论完全一致.进一步数值计算了金属-电介质复合介质的有效非线性交流响应,数值结果表明,体系的三阶、五阶非线性极化率在表面等离子共振频率附近有明显增强,而且,随着体积分数提高,共振峰增强且伴随着共振频率红移现象.还进一步讨论了维度效应对体系非线性交流响应的影响.

应用分光光度计测量Te/TeO2-SiO2复合薄膜的透射光谱和吸收光谱, 在480nm附近观察到Te颗粒引起的等离子体共振吸收峰; 采用Z扫描技术研究了共振(激发波长为532 nm)和非共振情况下(激发波长1064 nm) 不同电位制备薄膜的Te颗粒状态与复合薄膜的三阶非线性极化率的关系. 基于有效介质理论对复合薄膜的三阶非线性效应进行分析, 研究Te颗粒大小对Te/TeO2-SiO2复合薄膜的非线性光学性质的影响及其产生机理. 结果表明薄膜制备过电位增大, Te的粒径减小, 颗粒数量多, 颗粒分布趋于均匀, 使得金属颗粒的表面等离子体共振峰红移, 吸收强度增强, 导致三阶非线性光学效应增强, χ(3)由1064 nm的5.12×10-7 esu增大为532 nm的8.11×10-7 esu.

在理论上研究了电磁感应透明(EIT)介质的高阶非线性特性。引入一种区别于迭代法的新方法,该方法基于暗共振的分布情况,得到跃迁密度矩阵元的全解,在此基础上得到原子体系对探针光的各阶响应。研究结果表明,线性(一阶)极化率表现破坏性相干,非线性(三阶)极化率表现建设性相干;在各向同性介质中偶数阶次的非线性响应消失。进一步研究发现,五阶极化率和线性极化率一样呈现破坏性相干。研究结果为探索光波在EIT介质传输过程中高阶非线性对光波演化的影响提供了理论依据。该方法为研究高阶非线性效应提供了一种新的理论途径。 相似文献

An effective nonlinear response of a nonlinear composite
with spherical coated inclusions randomly embedded in a host medium
under the action of an external AC electric field, {{\bm E}}_a =
{{\bm E}}_1 \sin (\omega t) + {{\bm E}}_3 \sin (3\omega t), is
investigated using a perturbation method. The local potentials of the
composite at higher harmonics are given both in the region of local
inclusion particles and in the local host region under the external
AC electric field. All effective nonlinear responses of the composite
and the relationship between the effective nonlinear responses at
the fundamental frequency and third harmonics are also studied for

A method for determining effective dielectric responses of Kerr-like coated nonlinear composites under the alternating current (AC) electric field is proposed by using perturbation approach. As an example, we have investigated the composite with coated cylindrical inclusions randomly embedded in a host under an external sinusoidal field with finite frequency ω. The local field and potential of composites in general consists of components with all harmonic frequencies. The effective nonlinear AC responses at all harmonics are induced by the coated nonlinear composites because of the nonlinear constitutive relation. We consider a binary granular composite medium, in which two materials
have high-order nonlinearities. The effect of particle shape on effective
nonlinear response (ENR) is investigated by assuming all the particles to be shaped as uniaxial ellipsoid. We discuss two types of arrangements of particles: 1) parallel axes (Case I); 2) random axes (Case II).
During the process of numerical calculation, one component material
is assumed to be linear, and two kinds of conductors are assumed to be at
high conducting contrast. We find that: 1) the shape effect on ENR is possibly
strong; 2) the enhanced ENR can even be obtained by choosing particles
of appropriate ellipsoidal shapes; 3) the ENR enhancement predicted by

In this paper, two-component electroneutral systems of finite-sized macroions and oppositely charged point-like microions in the average spherical electroneutral Wigner–Seitz cell with a central macroion are studied. We investigate the self-similarity of nonlinear screening of highly charged macroions by microions in a classical asymmetrically charged complex plasma. This work is devoted to the problem of the relationship between the effective (‘visible’) charge of the macroion Z* and its initial charge Z taking into account the effect of the nonlinear screening. It is analysed how the form of the dependence Z*(Z) changes. The self-similarity of this dependence has been demonstrated for various characteristic system temperatures, macroion concentrations, and macroion sizes. 相似文献

gravity. In this context, the geodesic motion of the relevant perturbations is governed by an effective geometry, which is closely related to the underlying spacetime metric. We derive the effective geometry, and the latter is used to determine the trajectory of the propagation vector of an arbitrary finite discontinuity in the electrodynamic perturbations, namely, the photon. Subsequently, the image of the black hole is evaluated using the ray-tracing technique. Moreover, we discuss the physical relevance of metric parameters, such as the nonlinear coupling, spin, and charge, by studying their impact on the resultant black hole shadows. 相似文献
