We study the iron atomic aggregates deposited on silicone oil surfaces by using atomic force microscopy. The aggregates are composed of disk-shaped nanoparticles with the mean diameterΦc≈31.7 nm and height Hc≈4.5 nm,which are nearly independent of the nominal film thickness. The experiment shows that a material condensation process must occur in the nanoparticles during the growth period. The anomalous phenomenon is explained.  相似文献

We proposed an aggregation model of two species aggregates of fitness and population to study the interaction between the two species in their exchange-driven processes of the same species by introducing the monomer birth of fitness catalyzed by the population, where the fitness aggregates perform self-death process and the population aggregates perform self-birth process. The kinetic behaviors of the aggregate size distributions of the fitness and population were analyzed by the rate equation approach with their exchange rate kernel K1(k,j) = K1kj and K2(k,j) = K2kj, the fitness aggregate's self-death rate kernel J1 ( k ) = J1 k, population aggregate's self-birth rate kernel J2( k ) = J2k and population-catalyzed fitness birth rate kernel I(k,j) = Ikj'. The kinetic behavior of the fitness was found depending crucially on the parameter v, which reflects the dependence of the population-catalyzed fitness birth rate on the size of the catalyst (population) aggregate. (i) In the v ≤ 0 case, the effect of catalyzed-birth of fitness is rather weak and the exchange-driven aggregation and self-death of the fitness dominate the process, and the fitness aggregate size distribution αk(t) does not have scale form. (ii) When v ≥0, the effect of the population-catalyzed birth of fitness gets strong enough, and the catalyzed-birth and self-death of the fitness aggregates, together with the self-birth of the population aggregates dominate the evolution process of the fitness aggregates. The aggregate size distribution αk (t) approaches a generalized scaling form.  相似文献

We propose a two-species infection model, in which an infected aggregate can gain one monomer from a healthy one due to infection when they meet together. Moreover, both the healthy and infected aggregates may lose one monomer because of self-death, but a healthy aggregate can spontaneously yield a new monomer. Consider a simple system in which the birth/death rates are directly proportional to the aggregate size, namely, the birth and death rates of the healthy aggregate of size k are J1 k and J2k while the self-death rate of the infected aggregate of size k is J3k. We then investigate the kinetics of such a system by means of rate equation approach. For the J1 〉 J2 case, the aggregate size distribution of either species approaches the generalized scaling form and the typical size of either species increases wavily at large times. For the J1 = J2 case, the size distribution of healthy aggregates approaches the generalized scaling form while that of infected aggregates satisfies the modified scaling form. For the J1 〈 J2 case, the size distribution of healthy aggregates satisfies the modified scaling form, but that of infected aggregates does not scale.  相似文献

We propose two irreversible aggregation growth models of aggregates of two distinct species (.4 and B) to study the interactions between virus aggregates and medicine efficacy aggregates in the virus-medicine cooperative evolution system. The A-species aggregates evolve driven by self monomer birth and B-species aggregate-catalyzed monomer death in model I and by self birth, catalyzed death, and self monomer exchange reactions in model II, while the catalyst B-species aggregates are assumed to be injected into the system sustainedly or at a periodic time-dependent rate. The kinetic behaviors of the A-species aggregates are investigated by the rate equation approach based on the mean-field theory with the self birth rate kernel IA(k) = Ik, catalyzed death rate kernel JAB(k) = Jk and self exchange rate kernel KA (k, l) = Kkl. The kinetic behaviors of the A-species aggregates are mainly dominated by the competition between the two effects of the self birth (with the effective rate I) and the catalyzed death (with the effective rate JB0), while the effects of the self exchanges of the A-species aggregates which appear in an effective rate KAo play important roles in the cases of I 〉 JBo and I = JBo. The evolution behaviors of the total mass M1^A(t) and the total aggregate number MA(t) are obtained, and the aggregate size distribution ak(t) of species A is found to approach a generalized scaling form in the case of I ≥ JBo and a special modified scaling form in the case of I 〈 JB0. The periodical evolution of the B-monomers concentration plays an exponential form of the periodic modulation.  相似文献

We propose a three-species aggregation model with catalysis-driven decomposition. Based on the mean-field rate equations, we investigate the evoIution behavior of the system with the size-dependent catalysis-driven decomposition rate J(i; j; k) = Jijk^v and the constant aggregation rates. The results show that the cluster size distribution of the species without decomposition can always obey the conventional scaling law in the case of 0 ≤v ≤ 1, while the kinetic evolution of the decomposed species depends crucially on the index v. Moreover, the total size of the species without decomposition can keep a nonzero value at large times, while the total size of the decomposed species decreases exponentially with time and vanishes finally.  相似文献

First-principles spin-polarized density functional theory (DFT) investigations of the structural, electronic, magnetic, and thermodynamics characteristics of the half-Heusler, CoMnTe and RuMnTe compounds are carried out. Calculations are accomplished within a state of the art full-potential (FP) linearized (L) augmented plane wave plus a local orbital (APW + lo) computational approach framed within DFT. The generalized gradient approximation (GGA) parameterized by Perdew, Burke, and Ernzerhof (PBE) is implemented as an exchange correlation functional as a part of the total energy calculation. From the analysis of the calculated electronic band structure as well as the density of states for both compounds, a strong hybridization between d states of the higher valent transition metal (TM) atoms (Co, Ru) and lower valent TM atoms of (Mn) is observed. Furthermore, total and partial density of states (PDOS) of the ground state and the results of spin magnetic moments reveal that these compounds are both stable and ideal half-metallic ferromagnetic. The effects of the unit cell volume on the magnetic properties and half-metaliicity are crucial. It is worth noting that our computed results of the total spin magnetic moments, for CoMnTe equal to 4 ~tB and 3 p-B per unit cell for RuMnTe, nicely follow the rule μ2tot = Zt - 18. Using the quasi-harmonic Debye model, which considers the phononic effects, the effecs of pressure P and temperature T on the lattice parameter, bulk modulus, thermal expansion coefficient, Debye temperature, and heat capacity for these compounds are investigated for the first time.  相似文献

The compression behavior of the heavy RE-based BMC Gd40Y16Al24Co20 under high pressure has been investigated by in situ high pressure angle dispersive X-ray diffraction measurements using synchrotron radiation in the pressure range of 0-33.42 GPa at room temperature. By fitting the static equation of state at room temperature, we find the value of bulk modulus B is 61.27±4 GPa which is in good agreement with the experimental study by pulse-echo techniques of 58 GPa. The results show that the amorphous structure in the heavy RE-based BMG Gd40Y16Al24Co20 keeps quite stable up to 33.42 GPa although its compressibility is as large as about 33%. The coexistence of normal local structure similar to that of other BMGs and covalent bond structure similar to those of oxide glasses may be the reason for the anomalous property under high pressure of the Gd4oY16Al24Co2o BMG.  相似文献

The electrical properties of the structure of GaN grown on an Si (111) substrate with low-temperature (LT) A1N interlayers by metal-organic chemical-vapour deposition are investigated. An abnormal P-type conduction is observed in our GaN-on-Si structure by Hall effect measurement, which is mainly due to the A1 atom diffusing into the Si substrate and acting as an acceptor dopant. Meanwhile, a constant n-type conduction channel is observed in LT-A1N, which causes a conduction-type conversion at low temperature (50 K) and may further influence the electrical behavior of this structure.  相似文献

Ferromagnetic Ni-Mn-Ga films were fabricated by depositing on MgO (001) substrates at temperatures from 673 K to 923 K. Microstructure, crystal structure, martensitic transformation behavior, and magnetic properties of the films were studied. With increasing deposition temperature, the surface morphology of the films transforms from granular to continu- ous. The martensitic transformation temperature is not dependent on deposition temperature; while transformation behavior is affected substantially by deposition temperature. X-ray analysis reveals that the film deposited at 873 K has a 7M marten- site phase, and its magnetization curve provides a typical step-increase, indicating the occurrence of magnetically induced reorientation (MIR). In situ magnetic domain structure observation on the film deposited at 873 K reflects that the marten- sitic transformation could be divided into two periods: nucleation and growth, in the form of stripe domains. The MIR occurs at the temperature at which martensitic transformation starts, and the switching field increases with the decrease of temperature due to damped thermal activation. The magnetically induced martensitic transformation is related to the difference of magnetization between martensite and austenite. A shift of martensite temperature of dT/dH = 0.43 K/T is observed, consistent with the theoretical value, 0.41 K/T.  相似文献

In this paper, we observe experimentally the optical bistability induced by the side-mode injection power and wave-length detuning in a single mode Fabry-Prot laser diode (SMFP-LD). Results show that the bistability characteristics of the dominant and injected modes are strongly dependent on the injected input optical power and wavelength detuning in an SMFP-LD. We observe three types of hysteresis loops: counterclockwise, clockwise, and butterfly hysteresis with various loop widths. In the case of a bistability loop caused by injection power, the transition from counterclockwise to clockwise in the hysteresis direction with the wavelength detuning from 0.028 nm to 0.112 nm is observed in a way of butterfly hysteresis for the dominant mode by increasing the wavelength detuning. The width of hysteresis loop, induced by wavelength detuning is also changed while the injection power is enhanced from 7 dBm to 5 dBm.  相似文献

A two-variable earthquake model on a quenched random graph is established here. It can be seen as a generalization of the OFC models. We numerically study the critical behavior of the model when the system is nonconservative: the result indicates that the model exhibits self-organized criticality deep within the nonconservative regime. The probability distribution for avalanche size obeys finite size scaling. We compare our model with the model introduced by Stefano Lise and Maya Paczuski [Phys. Rev. Lett. 88 (2002) 228301], it is proved that they are not in the same universality class.  相似文献

Community structure is an important characteristic in real complex network. It is a network consists of groups of nodes within which links are dense but among which links are sparse. In this paper, the evolving network include node, link and community growth and we apply the community size preferential attachment and strength preferential attachment to a growing weighted network model and utilize weight assigning mechanism from BBV model. The resulting network reflects the intrinsic community structure with generalized power-law distributions of nodes' degrees and strengths.  相似文献

The Kapchinsky Vladimirsky (K-V) beam through a hackle periodic-focusing magnetic field is studied using the particle-core model. The beam halo-chaos is found, and an idea of fraction power-law function controller is proposed based on the mechanism of halo formation and the strategy of controlling halo-chaos. The method is applied to the multi-particle simulation to control the halo. The numerical results show that the halo-chaos and its regeneration can be eliminated effectively by using the fraction power-law function control method. At the same time, the radial particle density is uniform at the beam's center as long as the control method and appropriate parameter are chosen.  相似文献

The dynamical behavior in the cortical brain network of macaque is studied by modelling each cortical area with a subnetwork of interacting excitable neurons. We find that the avalanche of our model on different levels exhibits power-law. Furthermore the power-law exponent of the distribution and the average avalanche Size are affected by the topology of the network.  相似文献

Effects of vertex activity have been analyzed on a weighted evolving network. The network is characterized by the probability distribution of vertex strength, each edge weight and evolution of the strength of vertices with different vertex activities. The model exhibits self-organized criticality behavior. The probability distribution of avalanche size for different network sizes is also shown. In addition, there is a power law relation between the size and the duration of an avalanche and the average of avalanche size has been studied for different vertex activities.  相似文献

Based on the LISSOM model and the OFC earthquake model, we introduce a selforganized neural network model, in which the distribution of the avalanche sizes (unstable neurons) shows power-law behavior. In addition, we analyze the influence of various factors of the model on the power-law behavior of the avalanche size distribution.  相似文献

We study the conductivity sigma(T) of interacting electrons in a low-dimensional disordered system at low temperature T. For weak interactions, the weak-localization regime crosses over with lowering T into a dephasing-induced "power-law hopping." As T is further decreased, the Anderson localization in Fock space crucially affects sigma(T), inducing a transition at T = T(c), so that sigma(T < T(c)) = 0. The critical behavior of sigma(T) above T(c) is ln sigma(T) proportional to -(T - T(c))(-1/2). The mechanism of transport in the critical regime is many-particle transitions between distant states in Fock space.  相似文献

The critical behavior of nonlinear response in random networks of superconductor/nonlinear-normal conductors below the percolation threshold is investigated. Two cases are examined: (i) The nonlinear normal conductor has weakly nonlinear current (i)-voltage (ν) response of the form ν = ri + biα (biα-1《t and α > 1). Both the crossover current density and the crossover electric field are introduced to mark the transition between the linear and nonlinear responses of the network and are found to have power-law dependencies ~(fc - f)H and ~(fc - f)M as the percolation threshold fc of the superconductor is approached from below, where H = νd - sd > 0, M = νd > 0, νd and sd are the correlation length exponent and the critical exponent of linear conductivity in percolating S/N system respectively; (ii) The nonlinear-normal conductor has strongly nonlinear ν-i response, i.e., i = Xνα The effective nonlinear response Xe, behaves as Xe ~(fc - f)-W(α), where W ( α ) is the critical exponent of the nonlinear response xe(α) and is α-dependent in general. The results are compared with recently published data, reasonable agreement is found.  相似文献

We report the fabrication and the study of superconducting properties of ultra-thin Nb superconducting meander nanowires, which can be used as superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors (SNSPDs). The ultra-thin (about 7- nm thick) Nb films are patterned into micro-bridges, and 100-nm wide meander nanowires by using e-beam lithography (EBL). The average transition temperature (Tc) of the nanowires is about 4.8 K and the critical current density jc is about 2.8 × 10^6 A/cm2. Superconducting characteristics of the specimens at different applied magnetic fields up to 8 T (parallel or perpendicular to the specimen) are systematically investigated. The normalized temperature t (= T/Tc) dependences of the parallel critical field (HcⅡ) for both the micro-bridge and the meander nanowire are almost the same, following the Ginzburg and Landau (GL) formalism for ultra-thin films. However, in perpendicular field and in the vicinity of Tc (〉 0.95Tc), the critical field Hc⊥ of the nanowire exhibits a down-turn curvature nonlinear temperature dependence while the micro-bridge displays a linear temperature dependence. The nonlinear behavior of Hc⊥ in the nanowire is believed to be due to the fact that in the vicinity of Tc the coherence length becomes larger than the line width. Additionally, the localization of carriers in the nanowire could also contribute to the nonlinear behavior. The resistive transitions could be described by the phase-slip model for quasi-one-dimensional system. Moreover, the hysteresis in I-V curve of the meander nanowires can be illustrated by a simple model of localized normal hotspot maintained by Joule heating.  相似文献
