研究了磁光耦合强度对磁光光纤布喇格光栅中模式转换光反射光谱特性的影响.根据磁光耦合模理论并结合光纤布喇格光栅的传播特性,数值分析了磁光光纤布喇格光栅的磁控特性,得到了3 dB带宽可调的滤波器.采用级联磁光光纤布喇格光栅构造磁控梳状滤波器,实现了40 Gbps归零数据信号的全光时钟提取仿真,分析了时钟信号的抖动性能与磁光耦合参量的关系.  相似文献

介绍了一种用布拉格光纤光栅制作啁啾光纤光栅的方法。采用氢氟酸腐蚀布拉格光纤光栅, 使光栅的横截面沿光栅轴向逐渐变小, 然后对光栅施加1.50 N的拉力, 在光栅轴向建立应变梯度, 制作出长15 m m 、峰值反射率达92% 、反射半高宽为5 nm 的啁啾光纤光栅。  相似文献

All-optical microwave filters are important parts of fiber-optic microwave/millimeter wave processing systems. In this paper, two novel passive tunable all-optical microwave filters based on fiber loop and chirped fiber Bragg gratings (CFBGs) are demonstrated, where the frequency response of the both filters can be continuously tuned by adjusting the wavelength of the input light. The required free spectral range (FSR) of the filters can be obtained by carefully controlling the length of fiber loop and the positions of the CFBGs in the fiber loop. Experimental results prove the feasibility of the proposed filtering structures.  相似文献

阐述了光纤布拉格光栅的重构理论及被广泛采用的剥层算法,指出了剥层算法在重构强反射光栅时的弊端,提出了一种剥层算法和遗传算法相结合的方法来重构强反射光栅。此方法先由剥层算法得到光栅耦合系数的初始值,再依据重新采样后的初始值创建初始种群,通过遗传算法实现对剥层算法所得结果的后半部分进行优化。数值模拟表明此方法有效地改善了剥层算法的结果,具有较快的收敛速度和很好的精度,能适用于大多数强反射光栅的重构。  相似文献

We show that spectral filtering using a fiber Bragg grating as an optical discriminator improves the performance of semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) wavelength converters. This technique increases the operation speed and reduces the data patterning effect of SOAs for non-return-to-zero (NRZ)operation. For return-to-zero (RZ) operation the fiber grating increases extinction ratio and preserves the data polarity. We use this technique to obtain error-free wavelength conversion of NRZ data at 10 Gb s in an SOA with 6 GHz dynamic bandwidth. We also use the SOA fiber grating to convert RZ data at 10 Gb s and show that the converted pulses can propagate error free over 20,000 km in a dispersion-managed system.  相似文献

选用热膨胀系数较大的聚合物和某种偶联材料,采用特殊工艺用其对裸光纤光栅进行封装,消除了封装过程中所带来的光纤光栅啁啾现象,极大地改善了光纤光栅反射波的波形,提高了封装测试过程的重复性,为波长解调解决了一大难题.在30.6℃~120℃范围内,测量过程中波形很好并几乎不变,温度灵敏度为0.1173 nm/℃,温度分辨率为<0.43℃,比裸光纤光栅增加了11倍;平均灵敏度增敏倍数γ′=10.34,与理论计算灵敏度增敏倍数γ=10.76符合得比较好.聚合物封装光纤光栅的温度响应曲线具有很好的线性.  相似文献

提出了一种利用非线性二次曝光技术制作三角形光纤Bragg光栅的新方法.该方法只使用普通Bragg位相模板,采用两次曝光技术,通过控制光纤光栅的本地谐振波长和反射率,达到控制光纤光栅谱形的目的.第一次直接对光纤曝光,用来控制光纤光栅谐振波长;第二次通过位相模板曝光,用来控制光纤光栅的反射率.考虑到光敏光纤感光特性曲线的多项e负指数变化规律,按照"分步写入光纤光栅设计软件"进行曝光分布设计,利用"分步曝光光纤光栅写入系统"进行曝光控制,使用信息产业部第46研究所生产的DCS-01型光敏光纤,得到了线性范围1.24 nm、反射率为0~64%的三角形光纤Bragg光栅.三角形光纤Bragg光栅作为光纤光栅传感解调器件,在光纤传感领域具有重要应用价值.  相似文献

采用相位掩模板扫描法,在单模光敏光纤中制备了中心波长为1 541.86 nm,菲波纳契序数为0~9的准周期超结构光栅.通过模拟引入相移过程中纤芯折射率的改变对制作参量进行了优化.传输矩阵分析与实验结果均表明,该超结构光纤光栅的透射谱呈现分形结构,在中心波长附近有六循环和自相似特性.所制备超结构光栅可作为C波段分形结构滤波器件在光通信和全光集成领域得到应用.  相似文献

提出了一种特殊的取样光纤光栅:啁啾sinc取样光纤光栅.研究表明,对于均匀光纤光栅进行啁啾sinc取样,可以实现色散斜率补偿和获得精确的反射波长数控制;对啁啾光纤光栅进行啁啾sinc取样,则能够实现色散和色散斜率的同时补偿,并且可以进行精确的波长数控制及获得各信道一致的反射率.利用啁啾sinc取样光纤光栅,可以对各种传输光纤进行色散和色散斜率的补偿.  相似文献

提出了长周期光纤光栅的一种新的制作方法,通过对光纤周期性刻槽并加热拉伸引入纤芯形变,而使得纤芯折射率产生周期性变化。文中给出实验结果,并对其基本原理进行了理论分析。这种长周期光经行光栅可应用于需要宽阻滞滤波器的波分复用系统。  相似文献

在分析多波长啁啾叠栅特征的基础上,提出了多波长啁啾叠栅的矩阵分析模型,采用矩阵分析模型对4波长和8波长啁啾叠栅的反射谱特性进行了理论分析,数值分析结果与实验结果非常一致.还首次数值模拟了波长间隔0.8 nm的16波长啁啾叠栅.此方法对多波长啁啾叠栅的设计和制作具有参考价值.  相似文献

We develop a new flexible and precise ultraviolet exposure technique to fabricate a long period fiber grating using a computer-generated holographic optical element (HOE). The HOE can generate a striped beam pattern with about a 300 #x03BC;m period from a KrF excimer laser. This method offers (1) ease in varying the grating period and (2) grating period precision. We achieve a grating period within an accuracy of #x00B1;0.04 #x03BC;m. This means that the peak wavelength can be controlled within an accuracy of #x00B1;0.2nm with an operating wavelength of 1.55 #x03BC;m.This paper was originally presented at the 2nd International Conference on Optical Design and Fabrication, ODF2000 which was held on November 15-17, 2000 at the International Conference Center, Tokyo, Waseda University, Japan.  相似文献

We proposed and experimentally demonstrated two power-equalized erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) modules using fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) with various reflectivities for individual channels. The transmission type power-equalized EDFA module is low-cost for its simple design, while the reflection type power-equalized EDFA module can suppress most of the amplified spontaneous emission noise. Both consist of a bidirectional EDFA, a set of FBG chains with suitable reflectivities, and an optical isolator/optical circulator. They can find potential applications in wavelength division multiplexing lightwave transmission systems.  相似文献

Abstract

The experimental results of the radiation for second-order fiber Bragg gratings, which are made of a single-mode photosensitive fiber (PS-1500; Fiber-Core Corp.) and a single-mode fiber (SMF-28; Corning Inc.), by a phase mask writing fabrication technique are explored. For PS-1500 fiber Bragg gratings, the maximum radiation efficiency of ?23.5 dB at resonance λ = 1,539.34 nm with a very narrow bandwidth (about 0.02 nm) are measured from a 10-mm-diameter photo-detector, while for SMF-28 fiber Bragg gratings, the maximum radiation efficiency is ?34.6 dB (λ = 1,538.03 nm) with a bandwidth of 0.06 nm. The total efficiencies of the radiation are about ?16.8 dB for PS-1500 fiber Bragg gratings and ?28.1 dB for SMF-28 fiber Bragg gratings.  相似文献

By employing three reflecting volume Bragg gratings,a near-infrared 4-channel spectral-beam-combining system is demonstrated to present 720 W combined power with a combining efficiency of 94.7%.The combined laser beam is near-diffraction-limited with a beam factor M~2~1.54.During this 4-channel beam-combining process,no special active cooling measures are used to evaluate the volume Bragg gratings as combining elements are under the higher power laser operation.Thermal expansion and period distortion are verified in a 2kW 2-channel beam-combining process,and the heat issue in the transmission case is found to be more remarkable than that in the diffraction case.Transmitted and diffracted beams experience wave-front aberrations with different degrees,thus leading to distinct beam deterioration.  相似文献
