The differntial elastic scattering cross sections of Zr for 14.2MeV neutrons are measured by the associated particle time-flight method at angles from 10° to 140°.The corrections for neutron flux attenuation,multiple scattering and finite geometry are performed by using Monte-Carlo method.The experimental results are compared with the available lata from other work and the theoretical calculation.  相似文献

We investigate the cross sections of the elastic electron or positron scat tering from 208 Pb, ^12C ^12,16O and ^28,32S by the relativistic partial-wave expansion method using the static charge density distribution from the self-consistent relativistic mean fiel model and also calculate the charge form factor for ^12'16O and ^28,32S. The numerical results are compared with the available data. Calculations indicate that the extended charge density distributions of ^12O and ^28S have observable effects on the cross sections of the electron or positron scattering as well as the charge form factors.  相似文献

Certain broad low-energy peaks caused by a single partial wave in total cross sections are explained in terms of phase shifts. Such peaks have been associated with the real part of a Regge pole trajectory, having a maximum near an integer value of the angular momentum quantum number. At the peak energies, the pertinent partial-wave phase shift was shown to have a local maximum near a value π/2 modulo π. This implies no time delay in the semiclassical context. The phenomenon is a quantum effect, lacking a semiclassical interpretation.  相似文献

Considering the real experimental process of e-molecule scattering a new empirical formula has been developed to calculate the total cross sections (TOSs) for electron scattering on polyatomic molecules (CH4, C2H2, CH3OH and CH3F). The present results are compared with other available theoretical results and experimental data. The new formula incorporates an energy factor f(E) to represent the elastic and inelastic changing process during experiments. It depends on no adjustable parameters and has also extended the validity of the empirical approaches to lower energy range further.  相似文献

Based on the quark-gluon structure of nucleon and the existence of Odderon in nucleon via gluon selfinteraction, the elastic scattering of pp at high energies is studied. Our theoretical predictions reproduce experimental data perfectly. The contributions from individual terms of quark-quark, gluon-gluon interactions, quark-gluon interference and the Odderon terms to total cross section are analyzed. In addition to the leading quark-quark contribution, the Odderon contribution is quite important. In particular, the Odderon plays an essential role in fitting to data. Therefore, We may claim that the high energy pp and pp elastic scattering may be good processes to search for the Odderon, the three Reggeized gluon bound states.  相似文献

We present a fully relativistic calculation for ¯pd → 5πp and ¯pd → 3πp that includes angular momentum and spin dynamics. We calculate the inclusive proton distributions from two diagrams: the leading “tree” diagram, and the diagram for pion rescattering. Pion-nucleon rescattering proceeds through the Δ, in the RaritaSchwinger formalism, thus preserving the correct angular dependence. We use realistic parameterizations of the deuteron, keeping both theS andD states. The loop integrations for the rescattering amplitude and the phase space integrations have been done numerically. We find that the combined effects of a correct treatment of the rescattered pion and relativity are small in comparison with a simple non-relativistic calculation.  相似文献

We calculate the shape of the proton spectator distribution in \(\bar pd \to 5\pi p\) at low proton momenta. The sensitivity to atomicS- andP-state orbits and to the size of elementarys- andp-wave annihilation is discussed. The difference between two reaction cross sections of d(d, p)T and d(d, n)3He has been estimated in the cold fusion. It is caused by the different potential wall transmission and the angular distribution due to the structure.of deuterons. The 3He(p, 2p)d and 3He(p, pd)p reactions have been compared at three bombarding energies from 65 to 100 MeV. A comparison of plane wave impulse approximation calculations to the experimental data indicates that multiple scattering effects are large and energy dependent but that they primarily produce a uniform reduction in cross section. Although multiple scattering effects are large the ratio of the cross sections for the two reactions is in agreement with that predicted by the impulse approximation.  相似文献

The elastic scattering of electrons on the cut-off Coulomb potential Uc(r) = ?1/r + 1/rc, for rrc and Uc(r) = 0, for r > rc, has been considered. It has been shown that for ε > 0.5/rc (ε is the energy of free electrons in atomic units) the analytical quasi-classical expressions describe quite well the behaviour of transport, differential and total cross sections for elastic scattering. It has been shown moreover, that in the energy range considered, transport cross section could be determined with practically the same accuracy already by means of classical, analytical expressions. Two jet reactions at collider energies within the frame of QCD are studied. Cross sections and mean charges are shown for both cases when one or two jets are observed. Scaling violations are introduced by means of the Altarelli-Parisi equation for a completely asymmetric sea.
