A sea—air oscillator model is studied using the time delay theory. The aim is to find an asymptotic solving method for the El Ni no-southern oscillation (ENSO) model. Employing the perturbed method, an asymptotic solution of the corresponding problem is obtained. Thus we can obtain the prognoses of the sea surface temperature (SST) anomaly and the related physical quantities. 相似文献

Asymptotic solution for a class of sea-air oscillator model for El Nin^~o-southern oscillation 下载免费PDF全文
The El Nifio-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) is an interannual phenomenon involved in the tropical Pacific Oceanatmosphere interactions. In this paper, an asymptotic method of solving the nonlinear equation for the ENSO model is used. And based on a class of oscillator of ENSO model, the approximate solution of a corresponding problem is studied by employing the perturbation method. Firstly, an ENSO model of nonlinear time delay equation of equatorial Pacific is introduced, Secondly, by using the perturbed method, the zeroth and first order asymptotic perturbed solutions are constructed. Finally, from the comparison of the values for a figure, it is seen that the first asymptotic perturbed solution using the perturbation method has a good accuracy. And it is proved from the results that the perturbation method can be used as an analytic operation for the sea surface temperature anomaly in the equatorial Pacific of the atmosphere-ocean oscillation for the ENSO model. 相似文献

In this paper, a class of coupled system for the El Nin o/La Nin a southern oscillation (ENSO) atmospheric physics oscillation model is considered. We propose an ENSO atmospheric physics model using a method from the asymptotic theory. It is indicated from the results that the asymptotic method can be used for analyzing the sea surface temperature anomaly and the thermocline depth anomaly of the atmosphere-ocean oscillation for the ENSO model in the equatorial Pacific. 相似文献

A time delay model of a two-layer barotropic ocean with Rayleigh dissipation is built. Using the improved perturba- tion method, an analytic asymptotic solution of a better approximate degree is obtained in the mid-latitude wind field, and the physical meaning of the corresponding solution is also discussed. 相似文献

Asymptotic solution for a perturbed mechanism of western boundary undercurrents in the Pacific 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1 下载免费PDF全文
This paper consider a class of perturbed mechanism for the western
boundary undercurrents in the Pacific. The model of generalized
governing equations is studied. Using the perturbation method, it
constructs the asymptotic solution of the model. And the accuracy of
asymptotic solution is proved by the theory of differential
inequalities. Thus the uniformly valid asymptotic expansions of the
solution are obtained. 相似文献

A simple shallow-water model with influence of diabatic heating on a β-plane is applied to investigate the nonlinear equatorial Rossby waves in a shear flow. By the asymptotic method of multiple scales, the cubic nonlinear Schro^edinger (NLS for short) equation with an external heating source is derived for large amplitude equatorial envelope Rossby wave in a shear flow. And then various periodic structures for these equatorial envelope Rossby waves are obtained with the help of Jacob/elliptic functions and elliptic equation. It is shown that phase-locked diabatic heating plays an important role in periodic structures of rational form. 相似文献

In order to investigate a complicated physical system, it is convenient to consider a simple, easy to solve model, which is chosen to reflect as much physics as possible of the original system, as an ideal approximation. Motivated by this fundamental idea, we propose a novel asymptotic method, the nonsensitive homotopy-Pade approach. In this method, homotopy relations are constructed to link the original system with an ideal, solvable model. An artificial homotopy parameter is introduced to the homotopy relations as the normal perturbation parameter to generate the perturbation series, and is used to implement the Padd approximation. Meanwhile, some other auxiliary nonperturbative parameters, which are used to control the convergence of the perturbation series, are inserted to the approximants, and are fixed via the principle of minimal sensitivity. The method is used to study the eigenvalue problem of the quantum anharmonic oscillators. Highly accurate numerical results show its validity. Possible further studies on this method are also briefly discussed. 相似文献

Time-frequency analysis is combined with array processing to develop a direction of arrival (DOA) estimation method. The array data model is constructed in time-frequency domain by cross time-frequency distribution between the output of a reference sensor and those of two symmetric sub-arrays. Accordingly a subspace method is presented based on the average of two sub-arrays‘ time-frequency data vector model instead of the conventional array model, to estimate DOAs of multiple signals. Because the array data is processed both in spatial domain and 2-D time-frequency domain, the proposed method has an ability to select the signal of interesting, and is suitable for non-stationary signal. Additionally, the method is robust to noise and holds an advantage of low computational load. Simulations are conducted to verify the efficiency of the method and comparision is made with other methods. 相似文献
