Serial transmission electron microscopy of human megakaryocytes (MKs) revealed their polyploidization and gradual maturation through consecutive transition in characteristics of various organelles and others. At the beginning of differentiation, MK with ploidy 32N, e.g., has 16 centrosomes in the cell center surrounded by 32N nucleus. Each bundle of microtubules (MTs) emanated from the respective centrosome supports and organizes 16 equally volumed cytoplasmic compartments which together compose one single 32N MK. During the differentiation, single centriole separated from the centriole pair, i.e., centrosome, migrates to the most periphery of the cell through MT bundle, corresponding to a half of the interphase array originated from one centrosome, supporting one "putative cytoplasmic compartment" (PCC). Platelet demarcation membrane (DM) is constructed on the boundary surface between neighbouring PCCs. Matured PCC, composing of a tandem array of platelet territories covered by a sheet of DM is designated as protoplatelet. Eventually, the rupture of MK results in release of platelets from protoplatelets. (Communicated by Tadamitsu Kishimoto, M.J.A.).  相似文献

We prove convergence to a motion by mean curvature by scaling diffusively a nonlinear, nonlocal evolution equation. This equation was introduced earlier to describe the macroscopic behavior of a ferromagnetic spin system with Kac interaction which evolves with Glauber dynamics. The convergence is proven in any time interval in which the limiting motion is regular.  相似文献

In this paper, the deflection angle of light by traversable wormholes, which are supported by the three-form fields, are studied. The specific forms of the redshift and shape functions that produce results compatible with the energy conditions at throat of the wormholes are used. Having used the well-defined parameter sets of the three-form wormholes, the photon geodesic motion is investigated under the effective potential of the wormhole background. As a result, it is discovered that the radius of the photon sphere can be used to analyze the geometrical structures of a physical wormhole. The analytical form of the effective potential is used to figure out a deflection angle of light caused by wormholes with the three-from fields. In this work, the relativistic images generated from the wormholes are also constructed.  相似文献

利用强流脉冲电子束装置在各种工艺条件下对奥氏体不锈钢、单晶铝及多晶铝等面心立方金属进行辐照处理.利用扫描电子显微镜和透射电子显微镜等详细分析了辐照样品的变形组织与结构.通过分析,在一定程度上建立起强流脉冲电子束诱发的应力特征与变形结构之间的关系,并对目前现有的几种应力波数值模拟结果进行了分析.实验结果表明,强流脉冲电子束能够在材料内部诱发102—103MPa的应力,其传播方式与材料的 晶体结构关系密切.这一应力是导致材料深层性能与微观组织结构发生变化的根源所在. 关键词: 强流脉冲电子束 应力 微观结构 变形  相似文献

The resonance strength of the two-step process of nuclear excitation by electron capture followed by γ decay of the nucleus can be significantly increased in highly charged ions if the resonant capture proceeds via an excited electronic state with subsequent fast x-ray emission. For fully ionized 23892U and 23290Th, the x-ray decay stabilizes the system against internal conversion of the captured electron, with an increase of both nuclear lifetimes and resonance strengths of up to two orders of magnitude compared with the case when occupied atomic orbitals prevent the x-ray de-excitation. Applications of this effect to the measurement of the not yet experimentally observed nuclear excitation by electron capture and to dense astrophysical plasmas are discussed.  相似文献

Interference patterns generated by a regular lattice of SiO2 microspheres on a transparent support are used for the surface patterning of polyimide (PI) foils. Using 248 nm excimer-laser radiation, thousands to millions of holes with a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 160±40 nm can be generated with a single laser pulse. A skeleton of a planar contour is a set of centres of bitangent circles lying inside the contour. If contour of a planar shape was made up of a spatial distribution of sodium acetate crystals the propagating crystallization patterns would implement distance transformation, or thinning, of the contour. In such a case, boundaries between colliding patterns represent skeleton of the planar shape. In laboratory experiments we demonstrate that a supersaturated solution of a sodium acetate is a massively parallel processor. In this sodium-acetate processor data are inputted as spatial distribution of nucleation sites, information is transmitted via propagating patterns of crystallization and results of computation are represented by boundaries between stationary domains of crystals.  相似文献

The prediction and observation of growth ledges at various moving interphase boundaries in solid-solid phase transformations has become increasingly widespread since first proposed in the early 1960's by Aaronson. The role of steps at the growth interfaces in several phase transformations is reviewed. For precipitate plates emphasis is placed on rationalizing experimental growth kinetics with mathematical models developed for the migration rate of a ledge. More complex transformations are employed to examine the possible role of growth ledges to account for microstructure development. In all cases, the growth ledge is shown to be necessary to fully understand solid-solid phase transformations.  相似文献

Considerable interest is currently being devoted to nonlinear propagation in dielectric slab waveguides for integrated optics and millimetric applications. Much of the current work is based on Kerr-like ( E 2) nonlinear media and numerically discussed. We present a exact solution of TE-waves for arbitrary nonlinear dielectric ( |E| ). We applicate this solution to the planar nonlinear optic waveguides and the dispersion relations are given. We have probed the magnetic field dependence of the electron phase coherence time tau(phi) by measuring the Aharonov-Bohm conductance oscillations of mesoscopic Cu rings. Whereas tau(phi) determined from the low-field magnetoresistance saturates below 1 K, the amplitude of Aharonov-Bohm h/e oscillations increases strongly on a magnetic field scale proportional to the temperature. This provides strong evidence that a likely explanation for the frequently observed saturation of tau(phi) at low temperature in weakly disordered metallic thin films is the presence of extremely dilute magnetic impurities.  相似文献

We microstructured silicon surfaces with femtosecond laser irradiation in the presence of SF6. These surfaces display strong absorption of infrared radiation at energies below the band gap of crystalline silicon. We report the dependence of this below-band gap absorption on microstructuring conditions (laser fluence, number of laser pulses, and background pressure of SF6) along with structural and chemical characterization of the material. Significant amounts of sulfur are incorporated into the silicon over a wide range of microstructuring conditions; the sulfur is embedded in a disordered nanocrystalline layer less than 1 m thick that covers the microstructures. The most likely mechanism for the below-band gap absorption is the formation of a band of sulfur impurity states overlapping the silicon band edge, reducing the band gap from 1.1 eV to approximately 0.4 eV. We consider Saffman–Taylor channel flow without surface tension on a high-pressure driven interface, but modify the usual infinite-fluid in infinite-channel configuration. Here we include the treatment of efflux by considering a finite connected body of fluid in an arbitrarily long channel, with its second free interface the efflux of this configuration. We show that there is a uniquely determined translating solution for the driven interface, which is exactly the 1/2 width S–T solution, following from correct symmetry for a finite channel flow. We establish that there exist no perturbations about this solution corresponding to a finger propagating with any other width: Selection is locally unique and isolated. The stability of this solution is anomalous, in that all freely impressible perturbations are stabilities, while unstable modes request power proportional to their strength from the external agencies that drive the flow, and so, in principle, are experimentally controllable. This is very different from the behavior of the usual infinite fluid. We conjecture that surface tension on the efflux interface modifies channel-width according to 1–2=/v (i.e., (2)2 B of the literature) with v the velocity of the high-pressure tip, but the surface tension of the efflux. That is, is decreased below 1/2 by the effect of smoothing the distant efflux. The perturbation theory created here to deal with transport between two free boundaries is novel and dependent upon a symmetry implied by the equations of motion.  相似文献

为满足激光惯性约束聚变中靶面激光辐照不均匀性低于5%的要求,在目前使用透镜列阵基础上,提出了谱色散平滑与透镜列阵联用方案,对其进行数值计算并分析其平滑效果和应用可行性。结果表明:焦斑的不均匀性从单独使用透镜列阵时的14%降低到与谱色散平滑结合后的3%;对焦斑点功率谱的分析表明谱色散平滑通过抑制焦斑中高频的频谱强度达到平滑效果。该方案可以进一步提高焦斑平滑效果,计算结果对实际应用有着重要的参考意义。  相似文献

The turbulent diffusivity K of the atmosphere has first been studied by Richardson 1926 who empirically found that K depends on the scale l, K = Alα, with α = 4/3 and A = 0.6 cm2/3 s?1. This empirical scaling law is derived here from a unified theory (based on the Navier-Stokes equation) together with an explicit result for the prefactor, A = 2.4 ?1/3. The mean atmospheric dissipation rate compatible with this is ? = 0.016 cm2 s?3. For windtunnels with typical dissipation rates ? ? 1 m2 s?3 the turbulent diffusion coefficient should be K/cm2 s?1 = 52 (l/cm)4/3.  相似文献
