The laser calorimetric measurement of the absorption coefficient in a small cubic 12 × 9 × 9 mm KTP crystal has been investigated experimentally. The absorption coefficient in this crystal is 0.0121 cm-1, and the measurement accuracy is within 10%. 相似文献

The optical absorption is the most important macroscopic process to characterize the microscopic optical transition in the semiconductor materials. Recently, great enhancement has been observed in the absorption of the active region within a p–n junction. In this paper, Ga As based p–i–n samples with the active region varied from 100 nm to 3 μm were fabricated and it was observed that the external quantum efficiencies are higher than the typical results, indicating a new mechanism beyond the established theories. We proposed a theoretical model about the abnormal optical absorption process in the active region within a strong electric field, which might provide new theories for the design of the solar cells,photodetectors, and other photoelectric devices. 相似文献

General trends in formation of the observed vibrational spectra are analyzed by calculating spectral distributions of the
absorption coefficient in the IR region for 45 molecules of different classes ignoring the electrooptical paramaters of particular
bonds and structural groups. It is shown that for many molecules, only vibrations of peripheral X-H bonds make a prevailing
contribution to the total integral absorption in a wide spectral range. The effect of increasing intensities of some bands
is clearly observed for skeleton vibrations, when optical parameters of external X-H bonds are zero.

The two-photon absorption (TPA) coefficient (β) relating to pulse models of laser is theoretically studied based on the nonlinear absorption equation. An expression of nonlinear energy transmission is obtained, in which a factor (g) is introduced to describe the β deviation resulting from the pulse profile of laser. The relative deviation can be then expressed as (1/g − 1)% for comparing β obtained based on other pulse models of laser with β0 based on the rectangular one. The values of g factor and the deviation of some typical ultra-short pulse models used nowadays are also calculated and presented. Our results suggest that the β deviations from the temporal pulse shapes should not be neglected in usual nonlinear transmission measurement. The g factor may become a useful parameter in taking account of this deviation. 相似文献

An inline measuring method of the optical absorption coefficient for liquid based on optical microfiber (OM) is studied. If an OM is immersed into absorptive liquid, the additional loss of the OM will increase. We have analyzed the relationship between the additional loss of the OMs and the absorption coefficients of the liquids, and found that the OM with determinate construction will be useful for measuring the absorption coefficients of the liquid whose refractive index is lower than that of the OM. Two OM samples are prepared to measure the absorption coefficient of pure water. A supercontinuum source is launched into the OM sample which is immersed into pure water, and absorption spectrum from 1400 to 1700 nm has been achieved by monitoring the additional loss. The trend of the absorption spectrum is similar with that of the reported result, showing that the inline measurement of the optical absorption coefficient is a feasible method for those lower refractive index liquids. 相似文献

提出了一种利用最小二乘求逆计算的声学覆盖层吸声系数多通道逆滤波测量方法.该方法通过估计电路信道及水声信道的信道响应,利用最小二乘实现多通道逆滤波算法,通过多路逆信号的同步发射在声学覆盖层处实现高分辨率主瓣、低旁瓣和时域窄脉宽的入射波聚焦,从而提高声学覆盖层低频吸声系数的测量精度。仿真验证了该方法在混响抑制和空时聚焦中的效果.在压力水罐中进行了频率为0.8~5 kHz条件下的钢板试样反射系数和透射系数的测量实验,通过与理论计算值对比,验证了该测量方法的有效性。论文提出的方法适用于非自由场环境下声学覆盖层吸声系数的测量,尤其适用于低频条件下吸声系数的测量。 相似文献
