n×m-valued Łukasiewicz algebras with negation were introduced and investigated in [20, 22, 23]. These algebras constitute a non trivial generalization of n-valued Łukasiewicz-Moisil algebras and in what follows, we shall call them n×m-valued Łukasiewicz-Moisil algebras (or LM n×m -algebras). In this paper, the study of this new class of algebras is continued. More precisely, a topological duality for these algebras is described and a characterization of LM n×m -congruences in terms of special subsets of the associated space is shown. Besides, it is determined which of these subsets correspond to principal congruences. In addition, it is proved that the variety of LM n×m -algebras is a discriminator variety and as a consequence, certain properties of the congruences are obtained. Finally, the number of congruences of a finite LM n×m -algebra is computed.   相似文献

Up to derived equivalence, the representation-finite self-injective algebras of class A n are divided into the wreath-like algebras (containing all Brauer tree algebras) and the Möbius algebras. In Part I (Forum Math. 11 (1999), 177–201), the ring structure of Hochschild cohomology of wreath-like algebras was determined, the key observation being that kernels in a minimal bimodule resolution of the algebras are twisted bimodules. In this paper we prove that also for Möbius algebras certain kernels in a minimal bimodule resolution carry the structure of a twisted bimodule. As an application we obtain detailed information on subrings of the Hochschild cohomology rings of Möbius algebras.  相似文献

Motivated by the study of invariant rings of finite groups on the first Weyl algebras A 1 and finding interesting families of new noetherian rings, a class of algebras similar to U(sl 2) was introduced and studied by Smith. Since the introduction of these algebras, research efforts have been focused on understanding their weight modules, and many important results were already obtained. But it seems that not much has been done on the part of nonweight modules. In this paper, we generalize Kostant’s results on the Whittaker model for the universal enveloping algebras U(g) of finite dimensional semisimple Lie algebras g to Smith’s algebras. As a result, a complete classification of irreducible Whittaker modules (which are definitely infinite dimensional) for Smith’s algebras is obtained, and the submodule structure of any Whittaker module is also explicitly described.   相似文献

In the paper, trinomial identities of associative algebras over an infinite field are considered (in general, the algebras may have no unit), i.e., identities of the formα m 1+β m 2+γ m 3=0, where α, β, and γ are scalars andm 1,m 2, andm 3 are different monomials. It is shown that any nontrivial identity if this kind implies a semigroup identity. The algebras with trinomial identities are characterized in the language of varieties. This paper classifies the simple modules of the cyclotomic Hecke algebras of type G(r,1,n) and the affine Hecke algebras of type A in arbitrary characteristic. We do this by first showing that the simple modules of the cyclotomic Hecke algebras are indexed by the set of “Kleshchev multipartitions”. Applications of BGP-reflection functors: isomorphisms of cluster algebras   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Given a symmetrizable generalized Cartan matrix A, for any index k, one can define an automorphism associated with A, of the field Q(u1,…, un) of rational functions of n independent indeterminates u1,…,un.It is an isomorphism between two cluster algebras associated to the matrix A (see sec. 4 for the precise meaning). When A is of finite type, these isomorphisms behave nicely; they are compatible with the BGP-reflection functors of cluster categories defined in a previous work if we identify the indecomposable objects in the categories with cluster variables of the corresponding cluster algebras, and they are also compatible with the "truncated simple reflections" defined by Fomin-Zelevinsky. Using the construction of preprojective or preinjective modules of hereditary algebras by DIab-Ringel and the Coxeter automorphisms (i.e. a product of these isomorphisms), we construct infinitely many cluster variables for cluster algebras of infinite type and all cluster variables for finite types.  相似文献

The minimal projective bimodule resolution is constructed for algebras in a family of self-injective algebras of finite representation type with tree class Dn. Using this resolution, we calculate the dimensions of the Hochschild cohomology groups for the algebras under consideration. The described resolution is periodic, and thus the Hochschild cohomology of these algebras is periodic as well. In the paper, we introduce a wide class of domestic finite dimensional algebras over an algebraically closed field which are obtained from the hereditary algebras of Euclidean type , n≥1, by iterated one-point extensions by two-ray modules. We prove that these algebras are domestic and their Auslander-Reiten quivers admit infinitely many nonperiodic connected components with infinitely many orbits with respect to the action of the Auslander-Reiten translation. Moreover, we exhibit a wide class of almost sincere domestic simply connected algebras of large global dimensions.  相似文献

The n-dimensional p-filiform Leibniz algebras of maximum length have already been studied with 0 ≤ p ≤ 2. For Lie algebras whose nilindex is equal to n−2 there is only one characteristic sequence, (n − 2, 1, 1), while in Leibniz theory we obtain the two possibilities: (n − 2, 1, 1) and (n − 2, 2). The first case (the 2-filiform case) is already known. The present paper deals with the second case, i.e., quasi-filiform non-Lie-Leibniz algebras of maximum length. Therefore this work completes the study of the maximum length of the Leibniz algebras with nilindex n − p with 0 ≤ p ≤ 2.  相似文献

Over an Artin algebra Λ many standard concepts from homological algebra can be relativized with respect to a contravariantly finite subcategory of mod-Λ, which contains the projective modules. The main aim of this article is to prove that the resulting relative homological dimensions of modules are preserved by stable equivalences between Artin algebras. As a corollary, we see that Auslander’s notion of representation dimension is invariant under stable equivalence (a result recently obtained independently by Guo). We then apply these results to the syzygy functor for self-injective algebras of representation dimension three, where we bound the number of simple modules in terms of the number of indecomposable nonprojective summands of an Auslander generator.   相似文献

The varieties equivalent to a given variety are characterized in a purely categorical way. In fact they are described as the models of those Lawvere theories which are Morita equivalent to the Lawvere theory of which therefore are characterized first. Along this way the conceptual meanings of the n-th matrix power construction of a variety and McKenzie's σ-modification of classes of algebras [22] become transparent. Besides other applications not only the well known equivalences between the varieties of Post algebras of fixed orders m and the variety of Boolean algebras are obtained; moreover it can be shown that the varieties are the only varieties equivalent to . This is a continuation of our previous work. We classify all the simple ℋq(D n )-modules via an automorphismh defined on the set { λ | Dλ ≠ 0}. Whenf n(q) ≠ 0, this yields a classification of all the simple ℋ q (D n)- modules for arbitrary n. It is proved that the category of modules of finite length over a broad class of generalized Weyl algebras contains no left almost split morphism starting from a simple module. It is shown that a similar assertion holds for the algebraUsl2(k) over an algebraically closed field k of characteristic 0. Abstract

L structures have been a subject of recent interest in physics, where they occur in closed string theory and in gauge theory. This paper provides a class of easily constructible examples of L n and L structures on graded vector spaces with three one-dimensional components. In particular, it demonstrates a way to classify all possible L n and L structures on V?=?V m ?⊕?V m+1?⊕?V m+2 when each of the three components is one-dimensional. Included are necessary and sufficient conditions under which a space with an L 3 structure is a differential graded Lie algebra. It is also shown that some of these differential graded Lie algebras possess a nontrivial L n structure for higher n.  相似文献

Block introduced certain analogues of the Zassenhaus algebras over a field of characteristic 0. The nongraded infinite-dimensional simple Lie algebras of Block type constructed by Xu can be viewed as generalizations of the Block algebras. In this paper, we construct a family of irreducible modules in terms of multiplication and differentiation operators on "polynomials" for four-devivation nongraded Lie algebras of Block type based on the finite-dimensional irreducible weight modules with multiplicity one of general linear Lie algebras. We also find a new series of submodules from which some irreducible quotient modules are obtained.  相似文献
