基于回热式不可逆奥托制冷循环和理想费米气体的状态方程,导出以费米气体为工质的奥托制冷循环的输入功、制冷量、制冷系数等重要性能参数的表达式,以此讨论费米气体的量子简并性、回热及内不可逆性对循环性能的影响,给出以理想费米气体为工质的回热式不可逆奥托制冷循环的性能特征。所得结果有助于进一步了解经典气体奥托制冷循环与量子气体奥托制冷循环的区别和联系。  相似文献

基于量子主方程和半群逼近方法,研究以许多无相互作用的自旋-1/2系统为工质的、由两个绝热和两个等磁场过程组成的不可逆量子制冷循环的一般性能特性。导出循环的性能系数、制冷率和输入功率等重要性能参数的表达式。应用数值求解,对受有限循环时间约束的制冷率进行了优化,计算了最大制冷率和相应的最佳性能参数,确定了性能系数的最佳区域和工质温度及两个等磁场过程时间的优化范围。进而详细分析了高温下循环的优化性能,所得结果被进一步推广,以致可直接用来描述由自旋-J系统为工质的量子制冷循环的性能。  相似文献

本文基于量子主方程和半群方法,分析了以谐振子系统为工质的量子制冷循环中的回热特征及时间演化公式,推导出制冷系数、制冷率和输入功率的一般表达式,在高温极限下详细推导出它们的具体优化特征.这里所获得的结论可以与经典制冷循环的结论进行比较,发现有许多类似之处.  相似文献

A new model of a quantum refrigeration cycle composed of two adiabatic and two isomagnetic field processes is established. The working substance in the cycle consists of many non-interacting spin-1/2 systems. The performance of the cycle is investigated, based on the quantum master equation and semi-group approach. The general expressions of several important performance parameters, such as the coefficient of performance, cooling rate, and power input, are given. It is found that the coefficient of performance of this cycle is in the closest analogy to that of the classical Carnot cycle. Furthermore, at high temperatures the optimal relations of the cooling rate and the maximum cooling rate are analysed in detail. Some performance characteristic curves of the cycle are plotted, such as the cooling rate versus the maximum ratio between high and low ``temperatures' of the working substances, the maximum cooling rate versus the ratio between high and low ``magnetic fields' and the ``temperature' ratio between high and low reservoirs. The obtained results are further generalized and discussed, so that they may be directly applied to describing the performance of the quantum refrigerator using spin-$J$ systems as the working substance. Finally, the optimum characteristics of the quantum Carnot and Ericsson refrigeration cycles are derived by analogy.  相似文献

研究了以带有Dzyaloshinski-Mariya(DM)相互作用的两比特自旋体系为工质的量子纠缠Otto热机和量子Stirling热机.两种不同热机在各自的循环过程中,通过保持其他参量不变,只有DM相互作用发生改变,从而分析热机循环中DM相互作用与热传递、做功以及效率等热力学量之间的关系.研究结果表明:DM相互作用对两种热机的基本量子热力学量都具有重要的影响,但量子Stirling热机由于回热器的使用,其循环效率会大于量子Otto纠缠热机的效率,甚至会超过Carnot效率;得到了量子Otto纠缠热机和量子Stirling热机做正功的条件.因此,在这两个纠缠体系中,热力学第二定律都依然成立.  相似文献

An irreversible model of an Ericsson cryogenic refrigeration cycle working with an ideal Fermi gas is established, which is composed of two isothermal and two isobaric processes. The influence of both the quantum degeneracy and the finite-rate heat transfer between the working fluid and the heat reservoirs on the performance of the cycle is investigated, based on the theory of statistical mechanics and thermodynamic properties of an ideal Fermi gas. The inherent regeneration losses of the cycle are analyzed. Expressions for several important performance parameters such as the coefficient of performance, cooling rate and power input are derived. By using numerical solutions, the cooling rate of the cycle is optimized for a given power input. The maximum cooling rate and the corresponding parameters are calculated numerically. The optimal regions of the coefficient of performance and power input are determined. Especially, the optimal performance of the cycle in the strong and weak gas degeneracy cases and the high temperature limit is discussed in detail. The analytic expressions of some optimized parameters are derived. Some optimum criteria are given. The distinctions and connections between the Ericsson refrigeration cycles working with the Fermi and classical gases are revealed.   相似文献

The quantum effect plays an important role in quantum thermodynamics, and recently the application of an indefinite causal order to quantum thermodynamics has attracted much attention. Based on two trapped ions, we propose a scheme to add an indefinite causal order to the isochoric cooling stroke of an Otto engine through reservoir engineering. Then, we observe that the quasi-static efficiency of this heat engine is far beyond the efficiency of a normal Otto heat engine and may reach one. When the power is its maximum, the efficiency is also much higher than that of a normal Otto heat engine. This enhancement may originate from the non-equilibrium of the reservoir and the measurement on the control qubit.  相似文献

Quantum thermal machines make use of non-classical thermodynamic resources, one of which include interactions between elements of the quantum working medium. In this paper, we examine the performance of a quasi-static quantum Otto engine based on two spins of arbitrary magnitudes subject to an external magnetic field and coupled via an isotropic Heisenberg exchange interaction. It has been shown earlier that the said interaction provides an enhancement of cycle efficiency, with an upper bound that is tighter than the Carnot efficiency. However, the necessary conditions governing engine performance and the relevant upper bound for efficiency are unknown for the general case of arbitrary spin magnitudes. By analyzing extreme case scenarios, we formulate heuristics to infer the necessary conditions for an engine with uncoupled as well as coupled spin model. These conditions lead us to a connection between performance of quantum heat engines and the notion of majorization. Furthermore, the study of complete Otto cycles inherent in the average cycle also yields interesting insights into the average performance.  相似文献

We discuss the superoscillators in thc supersymmetric quantum systems, and give the solution to the system. By making use of the annihilation and creation operators and their q-deformed operators, we also give the q-deformed quantum harmonic oscillator model in the supersymmetric quantum systems. The q-supercoherent states associated with the q-deformed supersymmetric quantum harmonic oscillators are constructed explicitly, and their properties are investigated. We investigate the finite time performance of reciprocating quantum Otto heat engine coupled to squeezed hot reservoir. We emphasize the converged limit cycle where each stroke is performed in finite time. To fully exploit the quantum availability provided by the squeezed bath, an optimal frequency protocol in the work extraction stroke is explicitly proposed. The power output is optimized with respect to the hot and cold isochore times. Thermodynamic analysis shows that for a wide range of squeezing parameters, efficiency at maximum power exceeds the generalized Curzon–Ahlborn efficiency defined by the effective temperature of the squeezed bath.  相似文献

The local geometry of the parameter space of a quantum system is described by the quantum metric tensor and the Berry curvature, which are two fundamental objects that play a crucial role in understanding geometrical aspects of condensed matter physics. Classical integrable systems are considered and a new approach is reported to obtain the classical analogs of the quantum metric tensor and the Berry curvature. An advantage of this approach is that it can be applied to a wide variety of classical systems corresponding to quantum systems with bosonic and fermionic degrees of freedom. The approach used arises from the semiclassical approximation of the Berry curvature and the quantum metric tensor in the Lagrangian formalism. This semiclassical approximation is exploited to establish, for the first time, the relation between the quantum metric tensor and its classical counterpart. The approach described is illustrated and validated by applying it to five systems: the generalized harmonic oscillator, the symmetric and linearly coupled harmonic oscillators, the singular Euclidean oscillator, and a spin-half particle in a magnetic field. Finally, some potential applications of this approach and possible generalizations that can be of interest in the field of condensed matter physics are mentioned.  相似文献

A repeated interaction process assisted by auxiliary thermal systems charges a quantum battery. The charging energy is supplied by switching on and off the interaction between the battery and the thermal systems. The charged state is an equilibrium state for the repeated interaction process, and the ergotropy characterizes its charge. The working cycle consists in extracting the ergotropy and charging the battery again. We discuss the fluctuating efficiency of the process, among other fluctuating properties. These fluctuations are dominated by the equilibrium distribution and depend weakly on other process properties.  相似文献

The quantum dynamics of a two-mode non-resonant parametric down-conversion process is studied by recasting the time evolution equations for the basic operators in an equivalent spin equation form with simpler exact solutions for a pump field with harmonic time dependence. The performance in finite time of a quantum-mechanical Brayton engine cycle is discussed, without intro- duction of temperature. The engine model consists of two quantum isoenergetic and two quantum isobaric processes, and works with a single particle in a harmonic trap. Directly employing the finite-time thermodynamics, the efficiency at maximum power output is determined. Extending the harmonic trap to a power-law trap, we find that the efficiency at max/mum power is independent of any parameter involved in the model, but depends on the confinement of the trapping potential.  相似文献

We analyze the entanglement characteristics of three harmonic modes,which are the output fields from three cavities with an input tripartite entangled state at fundamental frequency.The entanglement properties of the input beams can be maintained after their frequencies have been up-converted by the process of second harmonic generation.We have calculated the parametric dependences of the correlation spectrum on the initial squeezing factor,the pump power,the transmission coefficient,and the normalized analysis frequency of cavity.The numerical results provide references to choose proper experimental parameters for designing the experiment.The frequency conversion of the multipartite entangled state can also be applied to a quantum communication network.  相似文献

Using the canonical quantum theory apply to spherically symmetric pure gravitational systems, we present the study of the closed Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) cosmological model filled with pressureless matter (dust) content as a toy model. The Wheeler-DeWitt equation is view as the Schrödinger equation for the linear harmonic oscillator with energy E. We show that such type of universe has a quantized masses of the order of the Planck mass and harmonic oscillator wave functions, where a dual symmetry emerge among the quantum parameters.  相似文献
