3,3'-di(2-pyridyl) BINOLs (4), prepared in three steps from commercial substances by a combined directed ortho metalation-Negishi cross-coupling protocol, constitute new members of the BINOL ligand family. They are among the most selective, general ligands, providing equal or greater stereoselectivities in the Et2Zn addition to benzaldehydes and cinnamaldehydes (Table 3) than any single BINOL ligand reported to date. 相似文献

A highly enantioselective addition of silyl enol ethers derived from simple methyl ketones is described. The catalyst system of silicon tetrachloride activated by a chiral bisphosphoramide (R,R)-7 effectively promotes the addition of a variety of unsubstituted silyl enol ethers to aromatic, olefinic, and heteroaromatic aldehydes in excellent yield. Novel dendritic chiral BINOL ligands have been synthesized through coupling of MOM-protected 3,3′-dihydroxymethyl-binaphthol with Fréchet-type polyether benzyl bromide dendrons followed by deprotection of the MOM groups using TsOH. These dendritic chiral BINOL ligands were found to be effective in the enantioselective addition of diethylzinc to benzaldehyde both in the presence and absence of Ti(O-iso-Pr)4. The enantioselectivity decreased with increasing generation in both cases. In the latter case, the dendritic chiral BINOL ligands showed much higher catalytic activity and enantioselectivity than BINOL. 相似文献

[reaction: see text] The reactions of aryl aldehydes with styrene derivatives, mediated by various boron Lewis acids, were investigated. 1,3-Dihalo-1,3-diarylpropanes were obtained in high yields with boron trihalides, while 3-chloro-1,3-diarylpropanols were obtained in good to excellent yields with phenylboron dichloride. Reactions involving nonenolizable aliphatic aldehydes, trans-cinnamaldehyde, and beta-substituted styrenes were also investigated for the first time. 相似文献

Simple cinchona alkaloid derivatives, available via a one-pot procedure from commercially available starting materials, have been shown to promote highly enantio- and diastereoselective Michael-type addition reactions between enolizable carbonyl compounds and nitroalkenes of broad scope. The influence of both the absolute and relative stereochemistry at C-9 on catalyst performance has also been assessed. [reaction: see text]. 相似文献

Highly enantioselective Michael addition of silyl nitronates to alpha,beta-unsaturated aldehydes has been accomplished by the utilization of designer N-spiro C2-symmetric chiral quaternary ammonium bifluoride 1 as an efficient catalyst, providing direct access to both optically active gamma-nitro aldehydes, a very useful precursor to various complex organic molecules including aminocarbonyls, and their enol silyl ethers, a Mukaiyama donor of potential synthetic utility for further selective transformations. For instance, the reaction of trimethylsilyl nitronate 2 (R1 = Me) with trans-cinnamaldehyde (R2 = Ph, R3 = H) in toluene in the presence of (R,R)-1 (2 mol %) proceeded smoothly at -78 degrees C to give the desired enol silyl ether 3 (R1 = Me, R2 = Ph, R3 = H) in 90% isolated yield (anti/syn = 83:17) with 97% ee (anti isomer), and simple treatment of 3 thus obtained with 1 N HCl in THF at 0 degrees C afforded the corresponding gamma-nitro aldehyde 4 quantitatively without loss of diastereo- and enantioselectivity. 相似文献

One-pot procedures for the preparation of highly substituted indenes, tetrahydroindenes, and cyclopentadienes have been developed by using a combination of zirconocene-mediated Cbond;C-bond-forming reactions with Lewis acid mediated activation of carbonyl groups. The carbonyl groups of aldehydes were deoxygenated in the reaction and behaved formally as a one-carbon unit. A variety of Lewis acids were checked and showed different reactivities in this reaction. 相似文献

Proper choice of Lewis acid and hydroxyl protecting group allows for selective addition of crotyltri--butylstannane to either face of the aldehyde carbonyl in derivatives of 2-methyl-3-hydroxypropanal with preservation of selectivity for the bond construction; allyl additions are limited to diastereofacial selectivity consistent with “chelation control”. 相似文献
