基于包含五次复系数的高阶Ginzburg Landau方程为模型,采用分步傅里叶方法数值研究了啁啾类超短脉冲间的相互作用。结果表明:相邻孤子之间的相互作用对五阶非线性效应非常敏感,即使参数改变很小的值,也会改变其传输特性。适当地选择五阶非线性参数值,能够很好地抑制孤子间的相互作用,提高光纤传输的比特率。当相邻孤子的初始间距为6.8,五阶非线性参数值取-0.001时,可以实现2个孤子长距离的保型传输。最后讨论了五阶非线性作用下多孤子之间的相互作用及抑制。 相似文献

采用分步傅里叶算法,在基元脉冲数分别为9、17和25及相邻基元脉冲时间间隔分别为1、2及3的情况下,对短间隔脉冲串在光纤负色散区的非线性传榆特性进行数值研究.研究结果表明,尽管脉冲数、脉冲位置、脉冲强度和相邻两脉冲间的时间间隔随距离变化,且在传输过程中弱脉冲基座会扩展到很宽的时间范围,但是整个主脉冲波包始终保持局域即其时间间隔几乎不变,展宽速度不明显.同时,主脉冲波包永不重复前面的轮廓,即波包演化出现混沌行为.短间隔脉冲串的非线性演化可以形成混沌孤子波包,基元脉冲间的时间间隔及脉冲串的脉冲数都会影响混沌孤子波包的子脉冲数和它的持续时间. 相似文献

提出一种在单模光纤正常色散区由连续波产生超短光脉冲串的新方法,即让连续波和一个波长位于光纤正常色散区的调制脉冲串在光纤中同时传输,交叉相位调制效应和群速度色散效应的相互作用能使连续波演化成一串超短光脉冲,其脉冲宽度比调制脉冲串中的脉宽要小得多,本文还通过计算机模拟,对这一方法进行了全面的考察和分析。结果表明,该方法不仅实用,而且可取得较好的效果。 相似文献

从修正的非线性薛定谔方程出发,采用变分法,导出了在高阶色散和五阶非线性共同作用情况下高斯型脉冲参量随传输距离的演化方程组;求出了振幅与脉宽、频率与啁啾、脉宽与啁啾之间的三个重要约束关系;并进一步得出了脉宽随传输距离演化的解析解和脉冲中心位置随传输距离的演化规律;描绘了高阶色散和五阶非线性下,脉宽随传输距离演化的图形.结果表明:光纤中的高阶色散和五阶非线性都会影响高斯型脉冲各个参量的演化,但脉宽和振幅间的绝热关系并未改变.高阶色散使高斯型脉冲的脉宽展宽,五阶非线性使高斯型脉冲的脉宽压缩,它们对脉宽或初始啁啾的影响可以在一定程度上抵消,从而有可能使脉冲近似实现保形传输. 相似文献

The approximate analytical frequency chirps and the critical distances for cross-phase modulation induced optical wave breaking (OWB) of the initial hyperbolic-secant optical pulses propagating in optical fibers with quintic nonlinearity (QN) are presented. The pulse evolutions in terms of the frequency chirps, shapes and spectra are numerically calculated in the normal dispersion regime. The results reveal that, depending on different QN parameters, the traditional OWB or soliton or soliton pulse trains may occur. The approximate analytical critical distances are found to be in good agreement with the numerical ones only for the traditional OWB whereas the approximate analytical frequency chirps accords well with the numerical ones at the initial evolution stages of the pulses. 相似文献

Generation of High-Repetition-Rate Pulse Trains through the Continuous-Wave Perturbed by a Weak Gaussian Pulse in an Optical Fiber 下载免费PDF全文
A new means of generating all-optically high-repetition-rate pulse trains is proposed and numerically demonstrated in an optical fiber. Our numerical simulations show that, due to the modulation instability effect, the initial continuous-wave with a weak optical pulse instead of conventional weak sinusoidal modulation imposed on it can gradually evolve into high-repetition-rate pulse trains. However, the generated pulse trains take on different features from the conventional case in terms of their widths, intensities, intervals, numbers, and pedestals. 相似文献
