The ground state structures of 5,5″-diperfluorophenyl-2,2′:5′,2″:5″,2‴-quaterthiophene (1), 5,5′-bis{1-[4-(thien-2-yl)perfluorophenyl]}-2,2′-dithiophene (2), 4,4′-bis[5-(2,2′-dithiophenyl)]-perfluorobiphenyl (3), 5,5″-diperfluorophenyl-2,2′:5′,2″-tertthiophene (4), 5,5′-diperfluorophenyl-2,2′-dihiophene (5), and 5,5-diperfluorophenylthiophene (6) have been optimized at the B3LYP/6-31G(d), B3LYP/6-31G(d,p), PBE0/6-31G(d), and PBE0/6-31G(d,p) level of theories. The B3LYP/6-31+G(d) and PBE0/6-31+G(d) level of theories have been applied to investigate the absorption spectra. The PBE0 functional is good to predict the C–S bond lengths while the C–F bond lengths are good envisaged with B3LYP functional. The increment of thiophene rings between two perfluoroarene rings leads to red shift in absorption spectra. The electron affinities are energetically destabilized while energetic stabilization of the radical-cation increases by decreasing the thiophene rings from four to one. The perfluoroarene rings leads to enhance the electron injection.  相似文献

The ground-state structure and electronic and vibrational spectra of octaethylporphyrin diacid (H4OEP2+) have been studied with the density functional theory. The geometrical parameters computed with B3LYP, PBE1PBE and mPW1PW91 functionals and 6-31G* basis sets are well consistent with the experimental values. Electronic absorption spectrum of H4OEP2+ has been studied with the time-dependent DFT method, and the calculated excitation energies and oscillator strengths are compared with the experimental results. The Raman and IR spectra of H4OEP2+ and the Raman spectrum of its N-deuterated analogue (D4OEP2+) were measured. The observed Raman and IR bands have been assigned based on the frequency calculations at the B3LYP/6-31G* level of theory.  相似文献

Most quantum mechanical studies of triterpene synthesis have been done on small models. We calculated mPW1PW91/6-311+G(2d,p)//B3LYP/6-31G* energies for many C30H51O+ intermediates to establish the first comprehensive energy profiles for the cationic cyclization of oxidosqualene to lanosterol, lupeol, and hopen-3beta-ol. Differences among these 3 profiles were attributed to ring strain, steric effects, and proton affinity. Modest activation energy barriers and the ample exothermicity of most annulations indicated that the cationic intermediates rarely need enzymatic stabilization. The course of reaction is guided by hyperconjugation of the carbocationic 2p orbital with parallel C-C and C-H bonds. Hyperconjugation for cations with a horizontal 2p orbital (in the plane of the ABCD ring system) leads to annulation and ring expansion. If the 2p orbital becomes vertical, hyperconjugation fosters 1,2-methyl and hydride shifts. Transition states leading to rings D and E were bridged cyclopropane/carbonium ions, which allow ring expansion/annulation to bypass formation of undesirable anti-Markovnikov cations. Similar bridged species are also involved in many cation rearrangements. Our calculations revealed systematic errors in DFT cyclization energies. A spectacular example was the B3LYP/6-311+G(2d,p)//B3LYP/6-31G* prediction of endothermicity for the strongly exothermic cyclization of squalene to hopene. DFT cyclization energies for the 6-311+G(2d,p) basis set ranged from reasonable accuracy (mPW1PW91, TPSSh with 25% HF exchange) to underestimation (B3LYP, HCTH, TPSS, O3LYP) or overestimation (MP2, MPW1K, PBE1PBE). Despite minor inaccuracies, B3LYP/6-31G* geometries usually gave credible mPW1PW91 single-point energies. Nevertheless, DFT energies should be used cautiously until broadly reliable methods are established.  相似文献

用从头算方法HF/6-31G^*^*和密度函方法B3LYP/6-31G^*^*,对Si~2Cl~6分子的平衡几何构型进行优化,优化的结果与实验结果吻合得较好.并用上述两种不同的方法计算Si~2Cl~6分子的内旋转能垒,结果分别为8.786和6.694kJ/mol,其中DFT方法的计算结果与实验结果4.18kJ/mol吻合得较好.对Si~2Cl~6分子的振动基频进行计算.用HF/6-31G^*^*SQM力场所计算的频率理论值与实验值的平均误差为7.3cm^-^1,用B3LYP/6-31G^*^*未标度的力场所计算的频率理论值与实验值的平均误差为6.0cm^-^1.该密度泛函方法(B3LYP/~6-31G^*^*)的理论计算值比用HF/6-31G^*^*标度后的SQM力场计算的频率与实验值(除Si--Si键扭转振动基频之外的11条振动基频)吻合得更好.并给出了Si--Si键扭转振动基频的预测值。  相似文献

Various hybrid functionals (B3LYP, B97-2, PBE0, BMK, BH&HLYP, CAM-B3LYP, and LC-ωPBE) implemented in density functional theory were applied to give estimate of static first hyperpolarizabilty (β(0)) of (E)-benzaldehyde phenylhydrazone designated as (E)-BPH. Against those of MP2 computations as a function of the underlying density functional, good agreement was obtained with the BH&HLYP and CAM-B3LYP functionals. The LC-ωPBE functional and the B3LYP, PBE0, B97-2, and BMK functionals underestimated and overestimated β(0), respectively. The basis set effect on the calculated β(0) was also investigated. It turned out that the 6-311+G(2d,p) basis set provided excellent converged value of β(0). On the basis of the calculated results, we investigated the substituent effect on β(0) of donor-acceptor (D-A) substituted (E)-BPH systematically by using the BH&HLYP and CAM-B3LYP computations with the 6-311+G(2d,p) basis set. We proposed a Zwitterion structure to explain the calculated trend in the substituent effect and the enhanced hyperpolarizability of type II compounds (A-(E)-BPH-D) than type I compounds (D-(E)-BPH-A). Natural bonding orbital analysis carried out at BH&HLYP/6-311+G(2d,p)//B3LYP/6-31G(2df,p) level of theory substantiated the claim.  相似文献

在RHF/6-31G和B3LYP/6-31G水平上对顺式(Cis-)与反式(Trans-)2-丁基-四氢噻吩亚砜(BTHTO)进行几何优化,应用规范不变原子轨道法(GIAO)在6-31G、6-31+G、6-31++G和6-31+G(2d,p)水平上计算了Cis-和Trans-BTHTO的13C-NMR,对13C-NMR谱进行了归属。结果表明,BTHTO噻吩五元环的稳定构象呈半椅式,Cis-和Trans-BTHTO中与硫原子直接碳原子13C-NMR的显著差异主要是由于空间构型不同引起分子的静电势场对相应碳原子的屏蔽作用不同所致。  相似文献

用密度函数理论(DFT)的BLYP和B3LYP方法,取6-31G,6-31G^*,6-31G^*^*,6-311G,6-311G^*和6-311G^*^*六种基组,对硝酸甲酯和硝酸乙酯的几何构型和红外振动频率进行了计算研究.结果表明,B3LYP方法在采用极化基组(6-31G^*,6-31G^*^*,6-311G^*和6-311G^*^*)时计算得到的结果均较好,适用于硝酸酯类化合物的研究.而BLYP方法无论采用何种基组均不适用;运用校正后的B3LYP/6-31G^*频率(校正因子0.975)计算得到的热力学性质(C^o~p,H^o和S^o)与实验结果较吻合。  相似文献

用量子化学密度泛函(DFT)方法研究D-苯丙氨酸与一价基态金属阳离子Cu在气相中反应的机理. 在B3LYP/6-31G*水平上, 优化了反应包含的4个反应通道的反应物、中间体、过渡态和产物的几何构型, 并采用B3LYP/DZVP, B3LYP/[6-311+G**(C,H,O)+Lanl2dz(Cu)], B3LYP/6-311+G**, MP2/6-311+G** 等方法对各驻点进行了单点能计算. 通过对计算结果的分析, 获得了其单重态反应势能面的一般轮廓、各驻点几何构型优化参数, 明确了其反应机理.  相似文献

采用量子化学从头算方法研究了1,5-环辛二烯-3,7-二炔(C~8H~4)的结构和光谱性质,根据等键反应分析和自然键轨道方法研究了它的稳定性、成键情况和共轭性。结果表明1,5-环辛二烯-3,7-二炔(C~8H~4)分子为平面刚性结构,可能稳定存在。分子中C≡C键与C=C键存在一定程度的共轭,可能具有芳香性。  相似文献

用多种密度泛函理论(DFT)方法(BLYP/6-31G^*^*,B3LYP/6-31G^*^*,B3PW91/6-31G^*^*和SVWN/6-31G^*^*)对吲哚分子的平衡几何构型进行了优化。在优化构型的基础上计算了吲哚分子的谐力场、振动基频和红外光谱强度。计算得到的振动频率与实验值比较平均偏差对四种计算方法(BLYP/6-31G^*^*,P3LYP/6-31G^*^*,B3PW91/6-31G^*^*和SVWN/6-31G^*^*)分别为16.3,40.5,45.1和26.4cm^-^1。BLYP/6-31G^*^*理论力场被用于吲哚分子的简正坐标分析计算中。根据振动率的势能分布(PEDs)对此分子的振动基频进行了理论归属。  相似文献

The equilibrium structure of the dimer (C60)2, clusters (C60)9, and (C60)7 simulating the poly-C60 (VIII) and poly-C60 (XII), as well as their boraza analogs with bisingle nitrogen-boron bonds was determined by the quantum-chemical methods B3LYP/6-31G and PBE0/6-31G. The boraza analogs are characterized by the positive values of calculated (B3LYP/PBE0) energies of the interpolyhedral bonds: 10/20, 35/74, and 54/109 kcal mol−1 respectively per a pair of monomers. The PBE0 method predicts shorter bond than B3LYP, and, in accordance with calorimetric data, positive bonding energy of the polyhedra in (C60)n.  相似文献

1N-Acetyl-3-(2,4-dichloro-5-fluoro-phenyl)-5-(p-methyl-phenyl)-2-pyrazoline has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. Ab intio calculations have been carded out for the compound by using both B3LYP and HF methods at the 6-31G^* basis set. The calculated results show that the predicted geometry can well reproduce the structural parameters. The electronic absorption spectra calculated by B3LYP/6-31G^* method are approximate to the experiments and the Natural Bond Orbital (NBO) analyses suggest that the above electronic transitions are mainly assigned to n→π^* and π→π^* transitions. CIS-HF/6-31G^* method is not suitable to predict the electronic spectra for the title compound. The calculation of the second order optical nonlinearity was carded out, giving the value of molecular hyperpolarizability equal to 2.194^+ 10^-30 esu. On the basis of vibrational analyses, the thermodynamic properties of the compound at different temperature have been calculated, revealing the correlation between C p, m^0, S m^0, H m^0 and temperature.  相似文献

The cycloaddition of cyclopentyne with ethene was examined using (U)B3LYP and CASSCF methods to discern the reaction mechanism. (U)B3LYP/6-31G* and (U)B3LYP/6-311+G* slightly favor the concerted pathway, whereas CASSCF(4,4)/6-31G* and CASCF(6,6)/6-31G* favor the diradical pathway. MRMP2 using the CASSCF(4,4) wave function also favors the diradical mechanism. In the context of a diradical pathway, the experimentally observed complete retention of stereochemistry for this reaction is understood in terms of stereochemical control resulting from dynamic effects.  相似文献

利用密度泛函理论(DFT)分别在B3LYP/6-31G**和B3LYP/6-311++G**的计算水平上优化了基态3-羟基丙烯醛分子在双键旋转异构反应过程中的平衡态以及过渡态的几何构型,分析了反应过程中键参数的变化,计算了该反应的内禀反应坐标(IRC),发现在重排反应途径上存在一个四元环骨架的中间体.通过振动分析对平衡态和过渡态进行了确认,并得到了零点能.计算结果表明,基态3-羟基丙烯醛分子的双键旋转异构反应经过两步完成,第一步反应位垒稍高,第二步反应位垒较低,存在着发生重排反应的可能性.  相似文献

The mechanism of the gas‐phase elimination kinetics of 2‐ethoxypyridine has been studied through the electronic structure calculations using density functional methods: B3LYP/6‐31G(d,p), B3LYP/6‐31++G(d,p), B3PW91/6‐31G(d,p), B3PW91/6‐31++G(d,p), MPW1PW91/6‐31G(d,p), MPW1PW91/6‐31++G(d,p), PBEPBE/6‐31G(d,p), PBEPBE/6‐31++G(d,p), PBE1PBE1/6‐31G(d,p), and PBE1PBE1/6‐31++G(d,p). The elimination reaction of 2‐ethoxypyridine occurs through a six‐centered transition state geometry involving the pyridine nitrogen, the substituted carbon of the aromatic ring, the ethoxy oxygen, two carbons of the ethoxy group, and a hydrogen atom, which migrates from the ethoxy group to the nitrogen to give 2‐pyridone and ethylene. The reaction mechanism appears to occur with the participation of π‐electrons, similar to alkyl vinyl ether elimination reaction, with simultaneous ethylene formation and hydrogen migration to the pyridine nitrogen producing 2‐pyridone. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The hydrogen-bonding ability of five-membered heteroaromatic molecules containing one chalcogen and two heteroatoms with nitrogen in addition to chalcogen, respectively, have been analyzed using density functional and molecular orbital methods through adduct formation with water. The stabilization energies for all the adducts are established at B3LYP/6-31+G* and MP2/6-31+G* levels after correcting for the basis set superposition error by using the counterpoise method and also corrected for zero-point vibrational energies. A natural bond orbital analysis at B3LYP/6-31+G* level and natural energy decomposition analysis at HF/6-31+G* using MP2/6-31+G* geometries have been carried out to understand the nature of hydrogen-bonding interaction in monohydrated heterocyclic adducts. Nucleus-independent chemical shift have been evaluated to understand the correlation between hydrogen bond formation and aromaticity.  相似文献

对吡啶-BH~3复合物分别用MP2/6-31+G^*和B3LYP/6-31+G^*进行理论计算以预测该复合物的构型及解离能,得到四种构型,在MP2优化构型基础上作CCSD/6-31+G^*单点能量计算以验证MP2与B3LYP结果的可靠性,然后用B3LYP作振动频率分析,计算了各构型的垂直电离势,最后用更大基组作单点能量计算和自然键轨道(NBO)分析。结果表明,N-B直接相连的构型最稳定,其解离能为141.50kJ/mol,MP2和B3LYP对N-H接近的构型结果相关较大,另外两种构型稳定性介于二者之间,解离能分别为15.18kJ/mol,14.06kJ/mol(MP2/6-31+G^*)。  相似文献
