We solve the problem of propagation of electromagnetic ULF waves in a plane waveguide with anisotropic upper wall from an arbitrary source with allowance for an arbitrary inclination of the magnetic field. The procedure for calculating magnetic components of the signal radiated by horizontal and vertical dipoles is developed in detail. The solution is presented in the form of the Fourier–Bessel transform of the desired field components. Impedance-type boundary conditions were used for an arbitrary inclination of the magnetic field. The obtained solutions can be used for interpreting experiments on measuring the spectra of ULF electromagnetic noise in various geographical regions and calculating parameters of ULF signals from controlled sources. 相似文献

Excitation of electromagnetic fields at extremely low and lower frequencies in the near-field zone of the Earth–ionosphere waveguide is considered. Variations in the field amplitude in the lower part of the extremely low frequency (ELF) range and lower frequencies are experimentally determined under different geophysical conditions in the absence of variations in the ultralow frequency (ULF) range. The effects related to such variations are analyzed with the aid of theoretical calculations that show significant effect of ionosphere in the near-field zone at relatively low terrestrial conduction. 相似文献

In classical physics the electromagnetic equations are described by Maxwell's equations. Maxwell's equations proved to be invariant under gauge, or Lorentz transformations. Also, Einstein's equations of the special theory of relativity are invariant under Lorentz transformations. On the other hand classical mechanics and quantum mechanics laws are invariant under Galilean transformations. This means that, there are two different dynamical structures describing our universe. Einstein's unified field theory failled in putting our universe in one dynamical structure. New electromagnetic and force field equations are going to be derived. They have the same shape like Maxwell's equations, but with different dynamical structure. Those equations are invariant under Galilean transformations and in the density matrix formalism of quantum mechanics. 相似文献

数值模拟重建场,采用光谱法讨论了场的属性,尤其频率对重建精度的影响。用Gauss函数建立了双峰模型场,并对其进行了Fourier频谱分析。使用代数迭代法对模型场进行了重建,并对重建场进行了误差分析,结果发现重建场的峰分布、方向和形状都与原场相似,但峰高有所下降,边界出现波动。文章认为出现这种现象的主要原因是滤波造成的,并通过改变Gauss函数的收敛因子来改变场频,采用数值分析方法对这一观点进行论证,结果证明该观点是正确的。同时发现,边界对重建精度影响较大,边界为零的近似误差增大时,重建精度下降,甚至导致迭代不收敛。所以应用代数迭代重建场时,必须注意边界为零的条件。 相似文献

A single-ridge waveguide with a symmetrical longitudinal trough, designated as a ridge-trough waveguide has been used as a transition in a V-band (50-75 GHz) wafer probe recently. In this paper, the field patterns for the dominant TE mode and the first higher TE mode in ridge-trough waveguide with different configurations are presented by finite element method. The field patterns in this paper have important values for us to understand the transmission characteristics of ridge-trough waveguide, and will be of practical significance in designing ridge-trough waveguide components in microwave and millimeter wave engineering. 相似文献

We study the field structure of the Vavilov-Cherenkov radiation in planar and cylindrical waveguides filled with a continuous dielectric medium or a uniaxial crystal. It is shown that the Vavilov-Cherenkov radiation has the form of wave packets propagating with the same phase and group velocities. Abstract At frequencies above one megahertz, the behaviour of electrolytic solutions changes from an ionic conductor to a lossy dielectric. High frequency conductance measurements of aqueous electrolytes (Na2SO4 and KCl) have been made by continuous wave and pulse admittance methods, in cells with immersed, shiny Pt electrodes to study this transition. Peak conductance frequencies as a function of concentration did not conform to the classical circuit representation of a resistance and capacitance. Measured phase angles indicate that relatively concentrated electrolytes (0.001 ? 1 M) exhibit inductance due to electromagnetic and perhaps mass (inertial) effects. Modelling was possible with a constant value of the inductance, L, and capacitance, C, using a simple RLC equivalent circuit. Ion and solvent perturbations in high frequency electrical fields first are discussed in terms of a damped harmonic oscillator model, whose macroscopic response is self-consistent and equivalent mathematically to RLC network. However, it is improbable that mass effects are sufficiently large to explain the majority of the inductance, which arises primarily from the transmission of energy through the solution. Obviously, the skin effects found in electrolytes will be distinct from those for metallic conductors. 相似文献

In this paper, finite element method is first used to discuss the field patterns in a hollow perfectly conducting pipe with elliptical cross section. The electrical field lines of the dominant TE mode as well as the magnetic field lines of the lowest TM mode are presented. 采用三维电磁仿真软件CST Microwave Studio,数值模拟了内外导体轴线复合结构偏心对同轴波导电磁特性的影响。结果表明:当内外导体的轴线同时存在平行偏心和倾斜偏心时,改变了波导的边界条件,从而导致同轴波导的S21参数和电场幅值实质性下降。随着复合结构偏心程度的加剧,同轴波导的S21参数和电场幅值减小越大。同时,复合结构偏心比平行偏心或倾斜偏心单独存在时对同轴波导电磁性能的影响更大。因此,在同轴波导的实际制作过程中,应尽力避免发生复合结构偏心。 相似文献

Cylindrical Dielectric Waveguide Array(CDWA) should be considered as a kind of two-dimensionally periodic(2DP) medium. Based on the established rigorous theory for 2DP medium, a great amount of numerical results for CDWA were presented. Wave propagation in CDWA was analyzed in detail in this paper. Firstly, given the longitudinal wave vector (k
z=0), Brillouin dispersion relations between transverse wave vectors were analyzed when modulation coefficients or the rate of different dielectric areas in a unit cell varied. Interactions between space harmonics were also studied. Secondly, when the area of dielectric cylinder in the unit cell varied within a given range, CDWA dispersion relations were compared with Rectangle Dielectric Waveguide Array's, some interesting conclusions were obtained. 相似文献
