Multi-symplectic method for generalized Boussinesq equation   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The generalized Boussinesq equation that represents a group of important nonlinear equations possesses many interesting properties. Multi-symplectic formulations of the generalized Boussinesq equation in the Hamilton space are introduced in this paper. And then an implicit multi-symplectic scheme equivalent to the multi-symplectic Box scheme is constructed to solve the partial differential equations (PDEs) derived from the generalized Boussinesq equation. Finally, the numerical experiments on the soliton solutions of the generalized Boussinesq equation are reported. The results show that the multi-symplectic method is an efficient algorithm with excellent long-time numerical behaviors for nonlinear partial differential equations.  相似文献

Some nonclassical potential symmetry generators and group-invariant solutions of heat equation and wave equation were determined. It is shown that some new explicit solutions of partial differential equations in conserved form can be constructed by using the nonclassical potential symmetry generators which are derived from their adjoint system. These explicit solutions cannot be obtained by using the Lie or Lie-Backlund symmetry group generators of differential equations.  相似文献

General exact solutions in terms of wavelet expansion are obtained for multi- term time-fractional diffusion-wave equations with Robin type boundary conditions. By proposing a new method of integral transform for solving boundary value problems, such fractional partial differential equations are converted into time-fractional ordinary differ- ential equations, which are further reduced to algebraic equations by using the Laplace transform. Then, with a wavelet-based exact formula of Laplace inversion, the resulting exact solutions in the Laplace transform domain are reversed to the time-space domain. Three examples of wave-diffusion problems are given to validate the proposed analytical method.  相似文献

Unsaturated flows within subsurface regions control many large-scale hydrological and environmental processes. This contribution presents and discusses the results of numerical calculations dealing with the flow of water, the chemical reaction at the water-mineral interface and the transport of chemical species caused by such flows. The source of the water flow through the soil is solely the rainfall. The water motion is calculated for two different soil classes and for a typical annual precipitation. The codes which were used are based on the following model: The transport of chemical species is described by a set of partial differential equations, and the homogeneous chemical processes, under the assumption of equilibrium, are described by a set of nonlinear algebraic equations. The source terms of these partial differential equations are given by rate laws of the chemical weathering. Rainfall and chemical weathering are, therefore, the sources of the transport of reactive multispecies in this model.  相似文献

By the theory of generalized functions this paper introduces a specific generalized function p by which, together with its various derivatives, the boundary integral equations and its arbitrary derivatives of any sufficiently smooth function can be established. These equations have no non-integral singularities. For a problem defined by linear partial differential operators, the partial differential equations of the problem can always be converted into boundary integral equations so long as the relevant fundamental solutions exist.This paper is partial fulfilment of the first author's doctorial dissertation and the second author is the endviser.  相似文献

This investigation examines the time dependent magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow problem of a micropolar fluid between two radially stretching sheets. Both strong and weak concentrations of microelements are taken into account. Suitable transformations are employed for the conversion of partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations. Solutions to the resulting problems are developed with a homotopy analysis method (HAM). The angular velocity, skin friction coefficient, and wall couple stress coefficient are illustrated for various parameters.  相似文献

An analysis is performed for the boundary-layer flow of a viscous fluid over a nonlinear axisymmetric stretching sheet. By introducing new nonlinear similarity transformations, the partial differential equations governing the flow are reduced to an ordinary differential equation. The resulting ordinary differential equation is solved using the homotopy analysis method (HAM). Analytic solution is given in the form of an infinite series. Convergence of the obtained series solution is explicitly established. The solution for an axisymmetric linear stretching sheet is obtained as a special case.  相似文献

This study describes the influence of mass transfer on the steady two‐dimensional magnetohydrodynamic boundary layer flow of a Jeffery fluid bounded by a stretching sheet. A uniform magnetic field in the presence of chemical reaction is applied. The arising nonlinear partial differential equations are reduced to nonlinear ordinary differential equations by similarity variables. Similar solutions of velocity and concentration fields are derived by a homotopy analysis method. The values of surface mass transfer and gradient of mass transfer are also tabulated. This paper looks at the unsteady three‐dimensional MHD flow of an elastico‐viscous fluid over a stretching surface. The analysis of mass transfer is also analyzed. The governing boundary layer equations are reduced into partial differential equations with three dependent variables through similarity transformations. The transformed system of equations is solved analytically by employing homotopy analysis method (HAM). Plots for various interesting parameters are presented and discussed. 本文采用Reissner中厚板理论求解了四边简支矩形中厚板的弯曲问题。文中首先对Reissner中厚板理论的控制方程进行了适当的变更,使之成为非耦联的二阶偏微分方程组,然后利用有限积分变换法求解所得新的控制方程,得到了四边简支矩形中厚板受均布载荷作用下的解析解。文中所述方法可用以求解具有其它边界条件和载荷的矩形中厚板的弯曲问题,同时还可移植应用于其它中厚板理论。  相似文献

This paper discusses intense explosions with cylindrical or plane symmetry in a perfect inviscid gas at rest. The energy is added by a power law of time, which leads to self-similarity. The system of partial differential equations with two variables is expressed in intrinsic coordinates as a function of a Lagrangian variable and the curvilinear abscissa on the paths. An original computation method solves two equations on a dual characteristic of the problem and the other two by a Telenin method. The computations on a test case show that the method is very fast and is suitable for cases where no internal shock appears in the flow.This article was processed using Springer-Verlag TEX Shock Waves macro package 1.0 and the AMS fonts, developed by the American Mathematical Society.  相似文献

This paper studies the partial differential equation with a small coefficient in the highest-order item. This kind of equation is also named as boundary layer problem. The Burgers equation and modified Burgers equation are analyzed in this approach. First, these equations are transferred into the strong nonlinear ones, and then the corresponding strong nonlinear equations are solved based on the perturbation method.
