Practical methods are described for the preparation of monoamines 4 and 1,3-diamines 5, bearing one or two amino group(s) instead of the hydroxy group(s) at the 28-position or at both the 26- and 28-positions of p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene (1a) and p-tert-butylthiacalix[4]arene (1b), via the Ullmann-type amination or amidation. Thus, the copper-catalyzed or mediated amination of the 1,3-bistriflate ester (2a) of 1a with benzylamine affords either mono(benzylamino) triflate 7a or 1,3-bis(benzylamine) 8 in a high yield, depending on the reaction conditions. On the other hand, the 1,3-bistriflate ester (2b) of 1b resists disubstitution and produces, under stoichiometric conditions, mono(benzylamino) triflate 7b. The disubstitution of 2b is achieved by amidation with tosylamide, giving 1,3-bis(tosylamide) 17b. The hydrogenolysis of the benzylamino moiety of 7a, followed by the hydrolysis of the Tf moiety, affords monoamine 4a, while the hydrogenolysis of 8 affords 1,3-diamine 5a. The amino moiety of 7b can be deprotected under acidic conditions to give, after hydrolysis, monoamine 4b. The hydrolysis of 17b affords 1,3-diamine 5b. The overall yields of compounds 4a, 4b, 5a, and 5b are 72%, 45%, 78%, and 24%, respectively, based on commercially available compounds 1 and are much higher than the ones previously reported in the literature.  相似文献

The tetra-isopropyl ethers of calix[4]arene and p-t-butylcalix[4]arene have been isolated in the cone conformation, and structurally characterised as chloroform solvates. Thermogravimetric analysis demonstrated that the parent isopropylcalix[4]arene solvate is significantly more stable than the p-t-butylcalix[4]arene analogue, retaining the solvent up to a temperature of 125°C. It was found that the calix[4]arene ether sublimes at atmospheric pressure, and solvent-free crystals appropriate for structure determination were produced at reduced pressure. The p-t-butylcalix[4]arene ether was also isolated without solvent in the lattice, but in this case the calixarene was crystallised from acetone, as sublimation did not produce crystals of sufficient quality.  相似文献

The bridge-substituted calix[4]arene carboxylic acid, 5,11,17,23-tetra-tert-butyl-25,26,27,28-tetramethoxy-calix[4]arene-2-carboxylic acid (1), can be readily converted to various esters 2-4 and reduced to the alcohol 5, which reacts with methyl iodide to give the ether 6. The alcohol can be dansylated to give 7, the fluorescence of which is selectively quenched by Cu(II) in acetonitrile. An attempt to convert the acid 1 to an amide resulted unexpectedly in the formation of a lactone 8. The conformational characteristics of 1-8 have been studied in solution and, in the cases of 2 and 4, in the solid state by determination of their single-crystal X-ray structures. With the exception of 8, in all these compounds the bridge substituent adopts an equatorial (lateral) orientation.  相似文献

The synthesis of two 1,3‐bis(4‐ethynylbenzyloxy)calix[4]arenes, 5,11,17,23‐tetrakis(1,1‐dimethylethyl)‐25,27‐bis(4‐ethynylbenzyloxy)‐26,28‐dihydroxycalix[4]arene ( 1 ) and 25,27‐bis(4‐ethynylbenzyloxy)‐26,28‐dihydroxycalix[4]arene ( 2 ), was accomplished through Sonogashira coupling of appropriate calixarene derivatives. Methods for the polymerization of these bifunctional building blocks with Rh(I) as a catalyst, leading ultimately to conjugated polymers having calix[4]arene units incorporated into the main chain, were explored. Calixarenes 1 and 2 were efficiently polymerized with rhodium‐based initiators and afforded the conjugated polymers poly{5,11,17,23‐tetrakis(1,1‐dimethylethyl)‐25,27‐bis(4‐ethynylbenzyloxy)‐26,28‐dihydroxycalix[4]arene} ( poly 1 ) and poly{25,27‐bis(4‐ethynylbenzyloxy)‐26,28‐dihydroxycalix[4]arene}. Depending on the conditions, high conversions and good yields were obtained. The effects of adding cocatalysts (NHEt2 and/or PPh3) were studied in connection with the number‐average molecular weight and the molecular weight distribution of the resultant polymer ( poly 1 ) and tentatively correlated with the formation of low‐molecular‐weight materials. A catalytic system containing triphenylphosphine as the sole additive ([Rh(nbd)Cl]2; [Rh]/[PPh3] = 0.5) proved to be the best for the polymerization of ptert‐butylcalixarene compound 1 . Linear polymers having high number‐average molecular weights (up to 1.1 × 105 g mol?1) with low polydispersities were produced under these conditions. For debutylated homologue 2 , its polymerization was best carried out in the absence of any added cocatalyst. A cyclopolymerization route, comprising the intramolecular ring closing of the calix[4]arene pendant ethynyl groups followed by an intermolecular propagation step, is advanced to explain the results. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In water, ammonium chloride was found to promote palladium-catalyzed Ullmann coupling reactions of aryl bromides. A series of monobridged calix [4] arenes 3a-f,cyclic biscalix-[4] arenes 4a-f ,diametrically bridged at the upper rim with saturated aliphatic diester chians,have been synthesized,The results at diluted conditions show that the percentage of yields of mono-,bis- and oligo-calix[4] arenes are related to the legth of the chains ,With the shortening of the chains ,the percent-age of monocalix[4] arenes decreased ,All the calix [4] arene moieties are in a cone conformaiton according to the AB quar-tet pattern of the methylene protons between the phenolic rings in the ^1H NMR spectra.  相似文献

We first make use of aminolysis of calix[4]arene esters to synthesize calix[4]arene amides. When the two ethyl esters of the calix[4]arene esters are aminolysized, the 1, 3-amide derivative is formed selectively. The crystal structures of the calix-[4]arene with two butyl amide (3b) and four butyl amide moieties (4b) were determined. The intermolecular hydrogen bonds make 4b form two-dimensional net work insolid state. The 1H NMR spectra prove that 3b is of a pinched cone conformation, while 4b and tetraheptylamide-calix[4]arene (6b) take fast interconversion between two C2v isomers in solution and appear an apparent cone conformation at room temperature. As decreasing temperature, the interconversion rate decreases gradually and, finally, the interconversion process is frozen at Tc = -10℃, which makes both conformations of 4b and 6b the pinched cone structures. The hydrogen bond improves the interconversion barrier, and the large different values of the potential barrier between 6b and 4b (or 6b) may  相似文献

New boronoalkoxycalix[4]arenes were synthesized by allylation, alkylation, hydroboration and hydrolysis of 25,26,27,28-tetrahydroxycalix[4]arene, and identified by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 11B NMR, MS and UV spectra. The data of UV and fluorescence spectra showed that tctrapropoxycalix-[4]arene triboronic acid could coordinate significantly with monosaccharides.  相似文献

The isopropyl derivative crystallizes from a mixture of carbon disulfide and benzene in the orthorhombic system: Space groupP21 nb, a=17.420(3),b=17.708(3),c=18.972(3) Å,V=5852(3) Å,Z=4. Thet-butyl derivative crystallizes from benzene, but the crystal is a complex (13), space groupP,a=15,065(5),b=19.103(3),c=13.878(3) Å, =106.95(2), =102.72(2), =80.61(2),V=3703(2) Å3,Z=2. Refinement led toR=0.185 for 1512 reflections for the isopropyl derivative, a sufficiently high number to establish the conformation of the molecule; for thet-butyl complexR=0.12 for 7340 reflections. Intramolecular hydrogen bonds are given as well as comparison of the conformation of both compounds. Thet-butyl groups and the benzene molecules are disordered but the isopropyl groups are not. Copper supported on 2-(1H-benzo[d]imidazol-2-yl)aniline (BIA)-functionalized Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Cu-BIA-Si-Fe3O4) as a novel magnetic catalyst was designed and used for the synthesis of new products via Ullmann and Suzuki cross-coupling reactions. The Ullmann reaction was performed by mixing arylboronic acid with aniline derivatives in dimethylsulfoxide solvent. Also, diaryls were synthesized via Suzuki C–C reactions between aryl halides and phenylboronic acid in the same solvent. The prepared materials and catalyst were characterized with various analytical techniques. The Cu-BIA-Si-Fe3O4 catalyst demonstrated catalytic efficiency with good to excellent yields for both types of reactions in comparison with commercial palladium catalysts. Also, the catalyst could be recovered by a simple filtration and retained its activity even after several cycles.  相似文献

Over bimetallic Au/Cu catalyst supported on magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles, water-mediated bromamine acid could be selectively converted into 4,4'-diamino-1,1'-dianthraquinonyl-3,3'-disulfonic acid (DAS) with a yield of 88.67%. The magnetic catalyst could be readily separated and reused.  相似文献

Two calix[4]arene derivatives with modified bipyridine as binding sites have been designed and synthesized. Compounds 1 and 2 are the first 2,2′-bipyridine-modified calix[4]arene-based sensors that can detect Zn2+ selectively with respect to ratiometric fluorescent changes and red shift. Dendritic p-t-butylcalix[n]arene amide derivatives with terminal amino groups of the first and second generations were synthesized by using divergent methods from ammonolysis of ethyl calixarylacetate with 1,6-diaminohexane and Michael addition of methyl acrylate. Their structures were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR. The recognition properties of these amide derivatives for several kinds of metal ions were studied with UV-Vis spectroscopy. The results showed a great affinity for soft Ag+ and UO2 2+ ions and formed 1:2 or 1:3 stoichiometric complexes. Calix[4] (aza) crowns containing amide groups 3a-d were synthesized by the reactions of calix[4]arene (1a) or p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene (1b) with N, N'-ethylenebis(2-chloroac-etamide) (2a) or N, N'-1,2-phenylenebis(2-chloroacetamide) (2b) by one step procedure in yields of 85-90% . Calix[4]-(aza) crowns 4a-b could be obtained by the reduction of 3a-b with LiAlH4 in yields of 51 and 67% , respectively. The nitration of 3a or 3c afforded new chromogenic calix[4]arenes 5a bearing two nitrophenol moieties and 5c bearing one nitro-phenol and one quinone moiety, respectively. The ipso-nitrations of 3b and 3d were also studied. Both gave the products containing one nitrophenol and one quinone moiety. Moreover, a very interesting calix[4]arene derivative 5d containing one cyclohexadienone moiety was also separated as the main product when 3d was ipso -nitrated.  相似文献
