For the first time, a simple NMR methodology is proposed for the accurate determination of the effect of the substitution of 12C by 13C on the chemical shifts of protons separated by two-bonds in small molecules in their natural abundance.  相似文献

The thermal transformation of Ba exchanged zeolite X to celsian has been studied by 27Al and 29Si MAS NMR spectroscopy. Evidence for the degradation of the zeolite framework is present in the 29Si NMR spectra after thermal treatment at 850 °C. Confirmation is provided by the 29Si NMR data that synthesis of celsian via the decomposition of Ba exchanged zeolite leads to a single defect phase. Clustering of the isomorphous replacement of aluminium by silicon must occur to explain the observed 29Si chemical shifts. The 27Al NMR data show distorted aluminium co-ordination sites upon the thermal transformation of Ba exchanged zeolite X. The distortions present in the amorphous matrix are greater than those present in the monoclinic and hexagonal crystalline phases of celsian.  相似文献

29Si MAS NMR spectra of natural melanophlogite as well as of synthetic melanophlogite indicate that the room temperature lattice structure has lower symmetry than expected from its proposed crystal structure. On heating the samples to temperatures above room temperature, the structure undergoes a reversible phase transition with a transition temperature characteristic of the locality. For the synthetic melanophlogite, the transition is over the range 298 K to 338 K. From low temperature NMR spectra it is concluded that the low temperature forms of synthetic melanophlogite and of melanophlogite from Sicily differ in their crystal lattice symmetries due to their characteristic guest species.Dedicated to Dr D. A novel strategy for NMR analysis of mixtures of oleanolic and ursolic acids that occur in natural products is described. These important phytochemicals have similar structure and their discrimination and quantification is rather difficult. We report herein the combined use of proton-carbon heteronuclear single-quantum coherence (1H-13C HSQC) and proton-carbon heteronuclear multiple-bond correlation (1H-13C HMBC) NMR spectroscopy, in the identification and quantitation of oleanolic acid (OA) and ursolic acid (UA)in plant extracts of the Lamiaceae and Oleaceae family. The combination of 1H-13C HSQC and 1H-13C HMBC techniques allows the connection of the proton and carbon-13 spins across the molecular backbone resulting in the identification and, thus, discrimination of oleanolic and ursolic acid without resorting to physicochemical separation of the components. The quantitative results provided by 2D 1H-13C HSQC NMR data were obtained within a short period of time (∼14 min) and are in excellent agreement with those obtained by HPLC, which support the efficiency of the suggested methodology.  相似文献

Summary The paper reports results for commercial precoated plates and home-made bonded phases for TLC examined by29Si and13C NMR of solid samples. The NMR spectra readily reveal differences in degree of silylation, details pertaining to the type of reactive silanes used, and differences in the methods of synthesis. They can also be used to explain the cause of the wettability problems encountered with some types of (precoated) TLC plates.  相似文献

Mullite has been prepared from a new combination of precursors. An aluminum alkoxide, aluminium isopropoxide, and silicon tetrachloride, are hydrolysed in tetrahydrofuran solution by 17O enriched water. The resulting powder is chemically homogeneous, crystallizing into mullite at 980°C. The structural evolution has been studied by DTA, TGA, XRD and 17O, 27Al and 29Si MAS NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Abstract

Reactions of the salts K2SN2 and K[(NSN)R] (R = ′Bu, SiMe3 and P′Bu2) with organoelement chlorides R′R′ěl have been used to prepare four series of model sulfur diimides: R′R″E(NSN)ER″R′, ′Bu(NSN)ER″R′, Me3Si(NSN)E″R′ and tBu2P(NSN)ER″R′, respectively (E = C, Si, Ge, Sn; R′ and R″ = alkyl or aryl group). All compounds have been characterized by ′H and 13C NMR and—if possible—by 31P, 29Si and 119Sn NMR spectroscopy. The configuration (Z or E) of the substituents R and E″R′ has been assigned in several cases using tBu(NSN)tBu (1) as a reference. The E,Z assignment of 1H, 13C and 15N nuclei in 1 is based on selectively 1H-decoupled refocused INEPT 15N NMR and two-dimensional (2D) 13C/1H heteronuclear shift correlations. The sulfur diimides under study are in general fluxional in solution.  相似文献

The reaction of metaborate esters (RO)3B3O3 [R = Me, Et, ClCH2CH2–, Cl3CCH2–, ClCH2CH2CH2–, (ClCH2)2CH–] with Si(OR)4 (R = Me, Et), either neat or in dry propan-2-one or dry THF at room temperature, led to gels which when dried and heated in air for 20 mins at 600°C afforded borosilicate glasses in high ceramic yields. The dried gels and glasses were characterized by elemental analysis, TGA, IR, and powder XRD, and solid-state MAS 29Si and 11B NMR. The gelling reaction was investigated by solution 11B and 29Si NMR. These NMR studies indicated B–O–Si reaction intermediates and a mechanism involving alkoxy exchange and various condensation/elimination reactions of the borosilicate esters have been proposed.  相似文献

Phosphosilicate gels with high phosphorus content (P mol% > Si mol%) have been prepared using phytic acid as the phosphorus precursor, with tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS). It is shown that the structure of phytic acid is maintained in both the sols and those gels dried at a low temperature (i.e. ≤120 °C). Solid state 29Si and 31P NMR suggest that the gel network is primarily based on tetrahedral silicon and that phosphorus is not chemically incorporated into the silicate network at this point. X-ray diffraction shows the gel to be amorphous at low temperatures. After heat treatment at higher temperatures (i.e. up to 450 °C), P–O–Si linkages are formed and the silicon coordination changes from tetrahedral to octahedral. At the same time, the gel crystallizes. Even after this partial calcination, 31P NMR shows that a large fraction of phytic acid remains in the network. The function of phytic acid as chelating agent is also maintained in the gels dried at 120 °C such that its ability to absorb Ca2+ from aqueous solution is preserved.  相似文献

New hybrid organic-inorganic gels have been obtained by reaction of 1,4-butanediol, on tetramethoxysilane Si(OMe)4 dissolved in CCl4. This reaction does not require water and leads to the formation of polymeric transparent materials.Infrared, 29Si and 13C NMR spectroscopy shows that interchange reactions between OMe groups of alkoxide and -O-(CH2)4-O of 1,4-butanediol occurred, leading to the monolithic transparent gels in which both organic (Si-O-(CH2)4-O-Si) and inorganic (Si-O-Si) bridges are formed.  相似文献

New phosphorus-containing derivatives of grosshemin were synthesized in 68-70% yield by reacting this guaianolide with dialkylphosphites. Their structures were established by IR, PMR, 13C NMR, and 31P NMR spectroscopies and two-dimensional 1H-1H NMR spectroscopy (COSY). The reaction of grosshemin with dialkylphosphites was found to be highly stereoselective.  相似文献

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (NMR) has been used on several occasions to investigate the biodurability of silicone elastomers used in silicone breast implants. In all of these cases conclusions have been convoluted by lack of sensitivity. We have improved the sensitivity of solid state NMR characterizations of silicone elastomers used in silicone breast implants by changing the physical state of the elastomer. This was achieved by cooling the sample to −90 C, below its crystalline transition temperatures, and acquiring 29Si Cross Polarization MAS (CPMAS) NMR. This approach yielded signal to noise enhancements as high as 8.5 fold for the elastomer backbone and modest improvements for (CH3)2RSiO1/2 and silica filler signals.  相似文献

New substituted stilbenes have been prepared by reactions of (E)-4-stilbenethiole with dibromoalkanes. 1H and 13C NMR spectra of new compounds have been assigned unambiguously on the basis of a combination of homo- (1H?1H COSY) and heteronuclear (1 H?13C COSY-HETCOR) two-dimensional methods, chemical shifts, and spin-coupling constants.  相似文献

Quantitative isotopic 13C NMR at natural abundance has been used to determine the site-by-site 13C/12C ratios in vanillin and a number of related compounds eluted from silica gel chromatography columns under similar conditions. Head-to-tail isotope fractionation is observed in all compounds at the majority of carbon positions. Furthermore, the site-specific isotope deviations show signatures characteristic of the position and functionality of the substituents present. The observed effects are more complex than would be obtained by simply summing the individual effects. Such detail is hidden when only the global 13C content is measured by mass spectrometry. In particular, carbon positions within the aromatic ring are found to show site-specific isotope fractionation between the solute and the stationary phase. These interactions, defined as non-covalent isotope effects, can be normal or inverse and vary with the substitution pattern present.  相似文献

Abstract

The hydrolysis kinetics of 14 alkoxy silane coupling agents were carried out in an ethanol:water 80:20 (w/w) solution under acidic conditions and were monitored by 1H, 13C, and 29Si NMR spectroscopy. Acidic conditions were selected in order to enhance the silanol formation and to slow down the self-condensation between the resulting hydrolysed silanol groups. In situ 29Si NMR spectroscopy allowed the determination of the intermediate species as a function of the reaction time. Thus, the following silane coupling agents were studied: 3-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxy silane (MPMS), 3-mercaptopropyl trimethoxy silane (MRPMS), 3-cyanopropyl triethoxy silane (CPES), triethoxy vinyl silane (VES), trimethoxy (2-phenylethyl) silane (PEMS), octyl triethoxy silane (OES), trimethoxy (7-octen-1-yl) silane (OEMS), 3-aminopropyl triethoxy silane (APES), 3-aminopropyl trimethoxy silane (APMS), 3-(2-aminoethylamino)propyl trimethoxy silane, (DAMS), 3-[2-(2-aminoethylamino)-ethylamino]propyl trimethoxy silane (TAMS), 4-amino-3,3-dibutyl trimethoxy silane (ADBMS), trimethoxy [3-(phenylamino)propyl] silane (PAPMS), and triethoxy-3-(2-imidazolin-1-yl) propyl silane (IZPES). A parameter quantifying the grafting potentiality of each silane coupling agent towards OH-rich solid substrates (such as cellulose) was established as a function of the nature of the alkoxy groups (methoxy or ethoxy), as well as that of the fourth substituent (vinyl, aminopropyl, etc.) of the silane studied.

Lithocholic acid N-(2-aminoethyl)amide (1) and deoxycholic acid N-(2-aminoethyl)amide(2) have been prepared and characterized by1H, 13C and 15N NMR. The accurate molecular masses of 1 and 2 have been determined by ESI MS. The formation of the Cd2+-complexes (1+Cd and 2+Cd) in CD3OD solution have been detected by 1H,13C, 15N and 113Cd NMR. The 13C NMR chemical shift assignments of 1 and 2 and their Cd2+-complexes are based on DEPT-135 and z-GS 1H,13C HMQC experiments as well as comparison with the assignments of the related structures. The 15N NMR chemical shiftassignments of the ligands and theirCd2+-complexes are based on z-GS1H,15N HMBC experiments. 13C NMR chemical shift differences between 1and its 1:1 Cd2+-complex based on ab initiocalculations at Hartree-Fock SCI-PCM level using3-21G(d) basis set are in agreement with theexperimental shift changes observed onCd2+-complexation.  相似文献

A new function that effectively takes into account ring structural environments achieves extensive highly accurate prediction of 13C NMR chemical shift in the CAST/CNMR system. The approach adapts a fast and flexible ring perception algorithm and a new CAST coding method for the ring information. 13C NMR chemical shift prediction is performed for complicated polycyclic natural products and their synthetic intermediates as the demonstration, which shows the reliability of the function in extending the scope of the practically accurate 13C NMR prediction for wide range of organic compounds.  相似文献

Stereochemistry of 7-aryl-1,7,8,8a-tetrahydro-3(2H)-indolizinones was studied by1H and13C NMR. Complete assignment of1H NMR signals and analysis of1H-1H coupling constants were performed using the iterative PANIC program. Values of3 J 6,7,3 J 7,8endo, and4 J 5,7 allow one to unambiguously identify the correspondingexo- andendo-stereoisomers. 3-Methylfurazans with nitrogen-containing substituents at position 4 were studied by 1H, 13C, and 14N NMR spectroscopy. A correlation between the chemical shifts in 13C NMR spectra of these furazans and monosubstituted benzenes with the same substituents was found. The13C and19F NMR spectra ofZ- andE-isomers of β-X-substituted α,β-difluorostyrenes (X=F, Cl, CpFe(CO)2, Re(CO)5, Re2(CO)9Na) were studied. Direct and long-range (across 1–5 bonds) spin-spin coupling constants and the (13C−12C) isotope shifts in the19F NMR spectra were determined. The study of the13C satellites in the19F NMR spectra of substituted difluorostyrenes permitted assignment of the13C NMR signals of the vinylic carbon atoms. Similarly, the signals in19F NMR spectra were assigned based on coupling constants of fluorine withipso-carbon. These assignments were found to be in good agreement with the data available from the literature (X=F, Cl).
