The critical current I c of S-(FN)-S Josephson structures has been calculated as a function of the distance L between superconducting (S) electrodes using the Usadel quasiclassical equations for the case of specifying the supercurrent in the direction parallel to the interface between the ferromagnetic (F) and normal (N) films of the composite weak-link region. It has been shown that, owing to the interaction between F and N films, both the typical decrease scale I c(L) and the period of the critical current oscillations can be much larger than the respective quantities for the SFS junctions. The conditions have been determined under which these lengths are on the order of the effective depth ζN of superconductivity penetration to a normal metal.  相似文献

Ferromagnetism and ferroelectricity in Eu monochalcogenides have been investigated by ab initio density functional theory in the DFT+U approach. Exchange interaction parameters and Curie temperatures under pressure are studied and discussed using Heisenberg Hamiltonian with first and second-nearest-neighbor interactions. The calculations showed that the hydrostatic pressure perfectly improves the Curie temperature (EuO: T C = 175 K; EuS: T C = 33.8 K) and in the other hand it cannot induce the spontaneous polarization (P s ). The effect of uniaxial and biaxial pressure is also studied. Although the uniaxial strains slightly increases the Curie temperature, it ensures the ferrolectricity in these systems by producing a spontaneous polarization of the order of P s (EuO) = 57.50 μC/cm2 and P s (EuS) = 42.86 μC/cm2 with pressures of 5% and 4%, respectively. The search for new model systems is a necessity to better understand the physics related to multiferroïc materials and to consider possible applications.  相似文献

The hierarchical structure of fermion masses of the Standard Model is explained in split fermion models by localizing the fermions at different points in an extra dimension. We consider split fermion models with two bulk scalars compactified on an orbifold. In the static case we find analytical expression for the localizer. We also address the issue of stability of the localizer. We also find exact solutions for the fermion zero modes. We explore the parameter space of the model. We find ample opportunity for construction of phenomenologically viable theories exist.  相似文献

In this paper, the quark distribution amplitudes of 1S and 2S heavy quarkonium states are studied in terms of Gaussian-type wave functions. The transverse momenta p integrals of the formulae for the decay constant are performed analytically. Then the quark distribution amplitudes are obtained. In addition, the ξ-moments are also calculated. After fixing the relevant parameters appearing in the quark distribution amplitude, the curves of the quark distribution amplitude for 1S and 2S heavy quarkonium states are plotted. Finally, the numerical results of this approach are compared with the other theoretical predictions.  相似文献

We explore the cosmological implications of the interactions among the dark particles in the dark SU(2) R model. It turns out that the relevant interaction is between dark energy and dark matter, through a decay process. With respect to the standard ΛCDM model, it changes only the background equations. We note that the observational aspects of the model are dominated by degeneracies between the parameters that describe the process. Thus, only the usual Λ CDM parameters such as the Hubble expansion rate and the dark energy density parameter (interpreted as the combination of the densities of the dark energy doublet) could be constrained by observations at this moment.  相似文献

The dielectron widths of Y(nS)(n = 1, …, 7) and vector decay constants are calculated using the relativistic string Hamiltonian with a universal interaction. For Y(nS) (n = 1, 2, 3) the dielectron widths and their ratios are obtained in full agreement with the latest CLEO data. For Y(10580) and Y(11020) a good agreement with experiment is reached only if the 4S-3D mixing (with a mixing angle θ = 27°± 4°) and 6S-5D mixing (with θ = 40°±5°) are taken into account. The possibility to observe higher “mixed D-wave” resonances, $ \tilde \Upsilon $ \tilde \Upsilon (n 3 D 1) with n = 3, 4, 5 is discussed. In particular, $ \tilde \Upsilon $ \tilde \Upsilon (≈11120), originating from the pure 53 D 1 state, can acquire a rather large dielectron width, ∼130 eV, so that this resonance may become manifest in the e + e experiments. On the contrary, the widths of pure D-wave states are very small, Γ ee (n 3 D 1)≤ 2 eV.  相似文献

From a macroscopic theory of the quantum vacuum in terms of conserved relativistic charges (generically denoted by q (a) with label a), we have obtained, in the low-energy limit, a particular type of f(R) model relevant to cosmology. We present an algebra generated by a single pair of creation and annihilation operators b and b*. We prove that the algebra has a unique d-dimensional representation. Corrections of order α5 and α6 to the hyperfine structure of the S- and P-wave states of muonic deuteriumwere calculated on the basis of the quasipotential approach in quantum electrodynamics. Relativistic corrections, vacuum-polarization and deuteron-structure effects, and recoil corrections were taken into account in this calculation. The resulting hyperfine-splitting values can be used in a comparison with experimental data obtained by the CREMA Collaboration.  相似文献

In a recent paper (Sharif and Shamir in Class. Quantum Grav. 26:235020, 2009), we have studied the vacuum solutions of Bianchi types I and V spacetimes in the framework of metric f (R) gravity. Here we extend this work to perfect fluid solutions. For this purpose, we take stiff matter to find energy density and pressure of the universe. In particular, we find two exact solutions in each case which correspond to two models of the universe. The first solution gives a singular model while the second solution provides a non-singular model. The physical behavior of these models has been discussed using some physical quantities. Also, the function of the Ricci scalar is evaluated.  相似文献

Corrections of order α 5 and α 6 to the hyperfine structure of S- and P-wave energy levels of the muonic-helium ion are calculated. Electron-vacuum-polarization effects, corrections for the nuclear structure, and recoil effects are taken into account. The numerical values obtained for respective hyperfine splitting, −1334.73 meV (1S), −166.64 meV (2S), −58 712.90 μeV (2P 1/2), and −24 290.69 μeV (2P 3/2), can be viewed as a reliable estimate for a comparison with experimental data, and the hyperfine-structure interval of Δ12 = 8ΔE hfs(2S) − ΔE hfs(1S) = 1.59 meV can be used to test QED predictions.  相似文献

The contributions to the parameters S, T, and U of radiative corrections from the doublets of scalar leptoquarks and scalar gluons are analyzed within the minimal model based on four-color symmetry of the Pati-Salam type. It is shown that current experimental data on the parameters S, T, and U admit the existence of relatively light scalar leptoquarks and scalar gluons (of mass lower than 1 TeV), the best fit to experimental data being attained at mass values not greater than 400 GeV. In particular, the existence of scalar leptoquarks of mass below 300 GeV is found to be compatible with data on the parameters S, T, and U at χ2 < 3.1 (3.2) for mH = 115 (300) GeV as against χ SM 2 = 3.5 (5.0) in the Standard Model. The mass of the lightest scalar gluon is then predicted to be less than 850 (720) GeV. It is emphasized that the aforementioned doublets of scalar leptoquarks and scalar gluons can play a significant role in processes involving a t quark at LHC.  相似文献

A new method for solving the multichannel quantum scattering problem in a wide energy range based on the single diagonalization of the Hamiltonian matrix of the system in a finite-dimensional basis is briefly described. It has been shown that the interaction-matrix-induced shifts of the eigenvalues of the free Hamiltonian matrix in the continuous spectrum are directly related to the partial phase shifts. The two-channel scattering problem with shifted channel thresholds is considered for illustration.  相似文献

A formalism of the invariant spin amplitudes of the pd-scattering process in the Madison frame of reference is developed. The condition for T invariance with conservation of P-parity is formulated in terms of these amplitudes, and the relationships between differential spin observables that follow from this condition, are derived. The relative efficiency of the method for testing T-invariance on the basis of these relationships is compared to the method based on recording a null-test signal in an experiment with a polarized proton beam and the deuteron target.  相似文献

In this paper, we reconstruct cosmological models in the framework of f(R,T) gravity, where R is the Ricci scalar and T is the trace of the stress-energy tensor. We show that the dust fluid reproduces ΛCDM, phantom–non-phantom era and phantom cosmology. Further, we reconstruct different cosmological models, including the Chaplygin gas, and scalar field with some specific forms of f(R,T). Our numerical simulation for the Hubble parameter shows good agreement with the BAO observational data for low redshifts, z<2.  相似文献

The difference of vector and axial-vector charged current correlators is analyzed by means of QCD sum rules. The contribution of 10-dimensional 4-quark condensates is calculated and its value is estimated within the framework of the factorization hypothesis. It is compared to the result obtained from an operator fit of Borel sum rules in the complex q 2-plane, calculated from experimental data on hadronic -decays. This fit gives accurate values of the light quark condensate and the quark-gluon mixed condensate. The energy dependence of the Cronin momentum for p + A and A + A collisions in the saturation model are calculated. This dependence is consistent with simple dimensional considerations and can be used to test the validity of the saturation model. It gives the possibility to distinguish the different variants of the saturation model with precise experimental data and to measure the x dependence of the saturation momentum.  相似文献

Analytical expressions are obtained for the angular distributions and spin asymmetries of the processes of elastic electromagnetic and electroweak scattering of high energy electrons on polarized/unpolarized proton target with account of C-, P- and T/CP-invariance violating anapole and electric dipole moments, as well as neutral weak electric, magnetic and axial form factors of the proton. Behavior of the P- and T- odd spin asymmetries is studied in dependence of the electron’s energy and scattering angle and proton form factors parameters.  相似文献

This paper contains the study of spherically symmetric perfect fluid collapse in the frame work of f(R, T) modified theory of gravity. We proceed our work by considering the non-static spherically symmetric background in the interior and static spherically symmetric background in the exterior regions of the star. The junction conditions between exterior and interior regions are presented by matching the exterior and interior regions. The field equations are solved by taking the assumptions that the Ricci scalar as well as the trace of energy-momentum tensor are to be constant, for a particular f(R, T) model. By inserting the solution of the field equations in junction conditions, we evaluate the gravitational mass of the collapsing system. Also, we discuss the apparent horizons and their time formation for different possible cases. It is concluded that the term f(R 0, T 0) behaves as a source of repulsive force and that’s why it slowdowns the collapse of the matter.  相似文献
