We describe the simple special unital Jordan superalgebras with associative even part A whose odd part M is an associative module over A. We prove that each of these superalgebras, not isomorphic to a superalgebra of nondegenerate bilinear superform, is isomorphically embedded into a twisted Jordan superalgebra of vector type. We exhibit a new example of a simple special Jordan superalgebra. We also describe the superalgebras such that M [A,M] 0.  相似文献

Studying the unital simple Jordan superalgebras with associative even part, we describe the unital simple Jordan superalgebras such that every pair of even elements induces the zero derivation and every pair of two odd elements induces the zero derivation of the even part. We show that such a superalgebra is either a superalgebra of nondegenerate bilinear form over a field or a four-dimensional simple Jordan superalgebra.  相似文献

W. Michaelis showed for Lie bialgebras that the dual coalgebra of a Lie algebra is a Lie bialgebra. In the present article we study an analogous question in the case of Jordan bialgebras. We prove that a simple infinite-dimensional Jordan superalgebra of vector type possesses a nonzero dual coalgebra. Thereby, we demonstrate that the hypothesis formulated by W. Michaelis for Lie coalgebras fails in the case of Jordan supercoalgebras.  相似文献

Let F be the underlying base field of characteristic p > 3 and denote by M the even part of the finite-dimensional simple modular Lie superalgebra M. In this paper, the generator sets of the Lie algebra M which will be heavily used to consider the derivation algebra Der(M) are given. We define symmetric spaces in arbitrary dimension and over arbitrary non-discrete topological fields , and we construct manifolds and symmetric spaces associated to topological continuous quasi-inverse Jordan pairs and -triple systems. This class of spaces, called smooth generalized projective geometries, generalizes the well-known (finite or infinite-dimensional) bounded symmetric domains as well as their ‘compact-like’ duals. Given a Lie superalgebra , we introduce several variants of the representation ring, built as subrings and quotients of the ring of virtual -supermodules, up to (even) isomorphisms. In particular, we consider the ideal of virtual -supermodules isomorphic to their own parity reversals, as well as an equivariant K-theoretic super representation ring on which the parity reversal operator takes the class of a virtual -supermodule to its negative. We also construct representation groups built from ungraded -modules, as well as degree-shifted representation groups using Clifford modules. The full super representation ring , including all degree shifts, is then a -graded ring in the complex case and a -graded ring in the real case. Our primary result is a six-term periodic exact sequence relating the rings , and . We first establish a version of it working over an arbitrary (not necessarily algebraically closed) field of characteristic 0. In the complex case, this six-term periodic long exact sequence splits into two three-term sequences, which gives us additional insight into the structure of the complex super representation ring . In the real case, we obtain the expected 24-term version, as well as a surprising six-term version, of this periodic exact sequence. (Received: October 2004)  相似文献

We also consider symmetrically normed Jordan submodules over C*-algebras. It turns out that there exist C*-algebras in which not all Jordan ideals are ideals.

In this note we reverse theusual process of constructing the Lie algebras of types G 2and F 4 as algebras of derivations of the splitoctonions or the exceptional Jordan algebra and instead beginwith their Dynkin diagrams and then construct the algebras togetherwith an action of the Lie algebras and associated Chevalley groups.This is shown to be a variation on a general construction ofall standard modules for simple Lie algebras and it is well suitedfor use in computational algebra systems. In this article, we study the positive principal minor (PPM) property of linear transformations on Euclidean Jordan algebras. Specifically, we give a characterization of the PPM property on the Lorentz space ℒ n and show that the PPM property implies the Q property. We also study a matrix-induced transformation on ℒ n . We study the nilpotency properties of the Leibniz algebras constructed by means of D-mappings on the algebra of complex square matrices M n (C). In particular, we obtain a criterion for nilpotency of these algebras in terms of the properties of a D-mapping. We give two variations of the Holland representation theorem for ℓ-groups and of its generalization of Glass for directed interpolation po-groups as groups of automorphisms of a linearly ordered set or of an antilattice, respectively. We show that every pseudo-effect algebra with some kind of the Riesz decomposition property as well as any pseudo MV-algebra can be represented as a pseudo-effect algebra or as a pseudo MV-algebra of automorphisms of some antilattice or of some linearly ordered set.  相似文献

Given a finite set A of integral vectors and a parameter vector, Gel'fand, Kapranov, and Zelevinskii defined a system of differential equations, called an A-hypergeometric (or a GKZ hypergeometric) system. Classifying the parameters according to the D-isomorphism classes of their corresponding A-hypergeometric systems is one of the most fundamental problems in the theory. In this paper we give a combinatorial answer for the problem under the assumption that the finite set A lies in a hyperplane off the origin, and illustrate it in two particularly simple cases: the normal case and the monomial curve case.  相似文献
