We study the transition problems in a piecewise nonlinear model induced by correlated multiplicative non-Gaussian noise and additive Gaussian white noise. Firstly, applying the path integral approach, the unified colored noise approximation, the analytical expression of the steady-state probability density function (SPD) is derived. Then the change regulation of the SPD is analyzed with the change of the strength and relevance of multiplicative noise and additive noise. From numerical computations we obtain some new nonlinear phenomena: the transition can be induced by the cross-correlation strength between noises, the non-Gaussian noise intensity and the Gaussian noise intensity as well as the non-Gaussian noise deviation parameter. This indicates that the effect of the non-Gaussian noise intensity on SPD is the same as that of the Gaussian noise intensity. Moreover, we also find the correlation time of the non-Gaussian noise can not induce the transition.  相似文献

Noise mapping in urban environments: A Taiwan study   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
This study analyzed the spatial characteristics of urban environmental noise by using noise maps produced at 345 noise monitoring stations in Tainan, Taiwan. Noise data were collected at varying intervals: morning, afternoon, and evening in both summer and winter. The spatial distributions of the noise levels during each time interval were evaluated and visualized by geographic information systems. The analytical results indicated that the highest and lowest average noise levels were 69.6 dB(A) and 59.3 dB(A) during summer mornings and winter evenings, respectively. Comparison of monitored noise levels with regulatory standards revealed that noise standard violations, which usually occur on summer evenings, are as high as 23 dB(A). Furthermore, the results of noise exposure analysis showed that over 90% of the Tainan City population are exposed to unacceptable noise as defined by US Department of Housing and Urban Development. The findings of this study show that noise maps can be useful for investigating noise in urban environments.  相似文献

Rain noise is often an unpleasant problem that disturbs people’s activities significantly in buildings with lightweight roofs, however, the existing researches are all based on artificial rains in laboratory, while the characteristics of natural rain noise as well as the relationship between actual rain noise and laboratory measurements still need to be explored to fulfill practical demands. This paper first presents two experiments on natural rain noise, revealing that rain intensity is the decisive factor of natural rain noise for heavy rains, and the A-weighted sound pressure level of rain noise caused by heavy rains is proportional to the logarithm of rain intensity. Furthermore, three more experiments on the rain noise with artificial rains are carried out, indicating that differences in rain intensities, fall heights and raindrop size distributions are the factors that cause significant deviation between actual rain noise and laboratory measurements. This total deviation as well as the deviations caused by each factor are then quantified. Finally, a method to predict the actual rain noise of a certain roof using laboratory measurement results is provided, which can be useful in real projects as an effective substitute of experiments using uncontrollable real rains.  相似文献

The stochastic resonance (SR) in a stochastic stable system driven by a static force and a periodic square-wave signal as well as by additive white noise and dichotomous noise is considered from the point of view of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). It is found that the SNR exhibits SR behavior when it is plotted as a function of the noise strength of the white noise and dichotomous noise, as well as when plotted as a function of the static force. Moreover, the influence of the strength of the stochastic potential force and the correlation rate of the dichotomous noise is investigated.  相似文献

<正>This paper investigates the stochastic resonance in a monostable system driven by square-wave signal,asymmetric dichotomous noise as well as by multiplicative and additive white noise.By the use of the properties of the dichotomous noise,it obtains the expressions of the signal-to-noise ratio under the adiabatic approximation condition.It finds that the signal-to-noise ratio is a non-monotonic function of the asymmetry of the dichotomous noise,and which varies non-monotonously with the intensity of the multiplicative and additive noise as well as the system parameters.Moreover, the signal-to-noise ratio depends on the correlation rate and intensity of the dichotomous noise.  相似文献

用n阶时间导数噪声作为内部热噪声驱动自由粒子运动时,若该噪声所对应的非各态历经强度b?=0,且系统初始处于热平衡,则此时系统的长时稳态速度可以作为非各态历经噪声使用.非各态历经噪声具有谱密度在零频处发散的特点,一维半无界耦合简谐振子链对与之相连的气体分子的作用具有非各态历经噪声的特点,是非各态历经噪声的实例.最后将非各态历经噪声作为外噪声驱动倾斜周期势中的粒子运动,系统出现扩散指数α2的超弹道扩散现象.同时发现系统的速度分布将呈现出迁移态和锁定态两种不同状态,并且处于迁移态的粒子的速度分布为双峰.迁移态中双峰的出现是一种比较新奇的现象.  相似文献

Current noise guidelines use an energy-based noise metric to predict the risk of hearing loss, and thus ignore the effect of temporal characteristics of the noise. The practice is widely considered to underestimate the risk of a complex noise environment, where impulsive noises are embedded in a steady-state noise. A basic form for noise metrics is designed by combining the equivalent sound pressure level (SPL) and a temporal correction term defined as a function of kurtosis of the noise. Several noise metrics are developed by varying this basic form and evaluated utilizing existing chinchilla noise exposure data. It is shown that the kurtosis correction term significantly improves the correlation of the noise metric with the measured hearing losses in chinchillas. The average SPL of the frequency components of the noise that define the hearing loss with a kurtosis correction term is identified as the best noise metric among tested. One of the investigated metrics, the kurtosis-corrected A-weighted SPL, is applied to a human exposure study data as a preview of applying the metrics to human guidelines. The possibility of applying the noise metrics to human guidelines is discussed.  相似文献

A survey of the characteristics of the noise emitted by commercial vehicles has been made. The most important single parameter determining the noise of a modern diesel-engined vehicle is the engine speed. All of the other parameters such as load, road speed, etc., have only a secondary effect.The sources of noise on the vehicle are reviewed and it is shown how the characteristics of these sources determine the overall noise characteristics of the vehicle. It has been found that a simple model of the vehicle as a number of coincident point sources predicts the overall noise characteristics of the vehicle to ±2 dB(A). It is shown that there are two extremes of behaviour, the rolling noise controlled vehicle and the power unit noise controlled vehicle; the engine is currently the controlling noise source.Tyre noise has been investigated in some detail as comparatively little has been published previously on this source. Empirical relationships between the tyre noise and speed, tyre size and road surface roughness are given. It is concluded that tyre noise is generated by impacting between elements of the tyre tread and elements of the road surface.Modifications have been made to the engine, exhaust, intake and cooling fan of a 9 ton, 6 litre diesel engined truck which have reduced its ISO test noise level from 88 dB(A) to 80 dB(A). However, it is concluded that 80 dB(A) commercial vehicles are not yet feasible for production. In particular insufficient is known about cooling fan design.Finally cab noise has been investigated and it has been found to originate from the same source as the exterior noise, power unit airborne noise. Therefore any modifications to the power unit to reduce exterior noise will have a similar effect on interior noise. This is confirmed by the vehicle modifications mentioned above which reduced the maximum cab noise from 87 dB(A) to 79 dB(A).  相似文献

研究了色关联乘性和加性色噪声作用下的三稳态系统的稳态问题.首先利用一致有色噪声近似方法,推导出稳态概率密度函数的表达式,然后分析了乘性噪声和加性噪声的强度以及关联性对稳态概率密度函数的影响,研究结果表明:加性噪声强度、加性噪声和乘性噪声的关联强度和关联时间可以诱导系统的非平衡相变.  相似文献

A system of three non-interacting qubits is used as a quantum probe to classify three classical non-Gaussian noises namely, the static noise (SN), colored noise (pink and brown spectrum) and random telegraph noise (RTN), according to their detrimental effects on the evolution of entanglement of the latter. The probe system is initially prepared in the GHZ state and coupled to the noises in independent environments. Seven configurations for the qubit-noise coupling (QNC) are considered. To estimate the destructive influence of each kind of noise, the tripartite negativity is employed to compare the evolution of entanglement in these QNC configurations to each other with the same noise parameters. It is shown that the evolution of entanglement is drastically impacted by the QNC configuration considered as well as the properties of the environmental noises and that the SN is more detrimental to the survival of entanglement than the RTN and colored noise, regardless of the Markov or non-Markov character of the RTN and the spectrum of the colored noise. On the other hand, it is shown that pink noise is more fatal to the system than the RTN and that the situation is totally reversed in the case of brown noise. Finally, it is demonstrated that these noises, in descending order of destructive influence, can be classified as follows: SN > pink noise > RTN > brown noise.

A modal noise model is presented that combines many features of previous theories such as varying fibre contrast, exponential noise p.d.f. and Gaussian noise p.d.f. The model also includes a new feature: the ability to treat multiple lossy connectors in the same link. This model is verified through extensive experimentation and is shown to be conservative, i.e. predicted noise penalties are larger than those observed. Using the model, modal noise penalties are predicted for a number of different link configurations, and laser parameters that result in acceptable amounts of modal noise are identified. The model is also demonstrated as a design tool for determining laser parameters that result in acceptable amounts of modal noise in typical links.  相似文献

水下风成噪声的垂直空间特性包括噪声垂直方向性和垂直相关性,研究海洋环境对其影响规律对提升声呐性能、增加海洋环境参数反演的准确性具有重要意义.本文利用Pekeris割线下的简正波理论描述噪声的传播过程,研究了深海环境下存在表面声道时,表面声道以下噪声垂直空间特性的变化规律及其原因.研究表明,在临界深度以上,表面声道的存在导致噪声垂直方向性在水平凹槽边缘靠近海底方向上的峰值升高,噪声垂直相关性随垂直距离增加先后周期地向正相干和负相干方向偏移;在临界深度以下,表面声道的存在导致水平方向上的噪声能量增强,噪声垂直相关性整体向正相干方向偏移.当表面声道的参数变化时,表面声道的厚度变化对噪声垂直空间特性影响较大,而表面声道内的声速梯度变化对噪声垂直空间特性几乎没有影响.结合各类简正波的变化分析表明,存在表面声道时,噪声源激发的折射简正波阶数增加,强度增强,是表面声道引起噪声垂直空间特性变化的主要原因.  相似文献

水流流经腔体时引起的自激振荡会形成流激噪声,该文通过仿真和实验研究了水下流激孔腔噪声的主动声场控制。应用有源前馈控制方法,对比了参考信号的选取以及控制器中增加的泄露因子对控制结果的影响,并在水循环管路中对流激孔腔噪声前馈控制效果进行了实验验证。研究结果表明,前馈有源噪声控制方法可有效抑制水下流激孔腔噪声,在误差点和辅助观测点都取得了良好的降噪效果,最大降噪量大于8 dB,并且使用腔内信号作为参考的控制效果优于上游信号作为参考。  相似文献

Bias non-conservation characteristics of radio-frequency noise mechanism of 40-nm n-MOSFET are observed by modeling and measuring its drain current noise. A compact model for the drain current noise of 40-nm MOSFET is proposed through the noise analysis. This model fully describes three kinds of main physical sources that determine the noise mechanism of 40-nm MOSFET, i.e., intrinsic drain current noise, thermal noise induced by the gate parasitic resistance, and coupling thermal noise induced by substrate parasitic effect. The accuracy of the proposed model is verified by noise measurements, and the intrinsic drain current noise is proved to be the suppressed shot noise, and with the decrease of the gate voltage, the suppressed degree gradually decreases until it vanishes. The most important findings of the bias non-conservative nature of noise mechanism of 40-nm n-MOSFET are as follows.(i) In the strong inversion region, the suppressed shot noise is weakly affected by the thermal noise of gate parasitic resistance. Therefore, one can empirically model the channel excess noise as being like the suppressed shot noise.(ii) In the middle inversion region, it is almost full of shot noise.(iii) In the weak inversion region, the thermal noise is strongly frequency-dependent, which is almost controlled by the capacitive coupling of substrate parasitic resistance. Measurement results over a wide temperature range demonstrate that the thermal noise of 40-nm n-MOSFET exists in a region from the weak to strong inversion, contrary to the predictions of suppressed shot noise model only suitable for the strong inversion and middle inversion region. These new findings of the noise mechanism of 40-nm n-MOSFET are very beneficial for its applications in ultra low-voltage and low-power RF, such as novel device electronic structure optimization, integrated circuit design and process technology evaluation.  相似文献

In the present study, the effects of different noise combinations on sleep were assessed in two contexts, with a single noise source and with combined noise sources. Road traffic noise, and construction or movie noise combined with road traffic noise were used as the single noise source and the combined noise sources, respectively. When the sound pressure level of road traffic noise was kept constant, levels of the construction and movie noise were changed. Twenty participants were followed for approximately 2 weeks, during which their sleep was evaluated using a questionnaire, including questions on sleeping behavior, premature awakening, and subjective responses. The results showed that the combined noise sources including construction noise decreased the number of participants who fell asleep within an hour and increased the number that were awakened prematurely compared to the effects of road traffic noise combined with movie noise. However, similar tendencies were observed while evaluating sleep quality, sleep disturbance, and annoyance.  相似文献

A model is presented for the environmental noise of fast electric trains on continuous welded rails, based on a consideration of the possible modes of vibration of the wheels. Evidence is presented to support the idea that the wheels are the dominant sources of noise and radiate as resonant dipoles. The model is calibrated by the results of measurements and methods of predicting train noise level and noise energy (per unit area) are developed. The noise intensity is found to increase as the fourth power of the speed. Energy (per unit area) at an observer increases as the third power of the speed and is proportional to train length divided by the distance of the observer from the track. The relevance of the model as a basis for the calculation of train noise in terms of some noise indices is then discussed and it is shown that it can be used to predict the parameters required by some indices which may be relevant to the subjective effects of environmental train noise.  相似文献

The entanglement dynamics in a system of the interaction of an atom with a single-mode thermal field in the presence of noise is studied by the Jaynes-Cummings model. Two-state random phase telegraph noise is considered as the noise in the interaction and an exact solution to the model under this noise is obtained by the Burshtein equation. Although the Burshtein equation is applicable for laser-atom interactions, it is shown that it can be applied to atom-thermal field system as a special case. The solution is used to investigate the entanglement dynamics of the atom-field interaction by calculating a lower bound on concurrence. It is found that the entanglement is a non monotonic function of the intensity of the noise. The degree of the entanglement decreases to a minimum value for an optimal intensity of the noise and then increases for a sufficiently large intensity. Moreover, intense noise may generate stronger entanglement compared with the absence of noise.  相似文献

Spectrally shaped steady noise is commonly used as a masker of speech. The effects of inherent random fluctuations in amplitude of such a noise are typically ignored. Here, the importance of these random fluctuations was assessed by comparing two cases. For one, speech was mixed with steady speech-shaped noise and N-channel tone vocoded, a process referred to as signal-domain mixing (SDM); this preserved the random fluctuations of the noise. For the second, the envelope of speech alone was extracted for each vocoder channel and a constant was added corresponding to the root-mean-square value of the noise envelope for that channel. This is referred to as envelope-domain mixing (EDM); it removed the random fluctuations of the noise. Sinusoidally modulated noise and a single talker were also used as backgrounds, with both SDM and EDM. Speech intelligibility was measured for N?=?12, 19, and 30, with the target-to-background ratio fixed at -7 dB. For SDM, performance was best for the speech background and worst for the steady noise. For EDM, this pattern was reversed. Intelligibility with steady noise was consistently very poor for SDM, but near-ceiling for EDM, demonstrating that the random fluctuations in steady noise have a large effect.  相似文献
