The applicability of Tiller's considerations on the production of dislocations is proved. The density of dislocations appearing during impurity microsegregation increases with increasing rate of growth as a consequence of the corresponding change in the effective distribution coefficient. The real value of C at the microsegregation boundaries is at least twice as great as the average value of the concentration of impurities in the crystal in question.

The paper gives the experimental results of the team-work study of coloured pure and Ca doped NaCl and KC1 crystals. The mechanism of the formation ofR centres by coagulation ofF centres and of the formation ofZ centres fromF centres, cation vacancies and Ca ions is discussed. An alternative model forZ 3 centres is proposed. The possible connections between physical and chemical behaviour are indicated.

We present a modified London model suggested by Brandt [1–3] which introduces a finite vortex core size appropriate for isotropic superconductors in which the average internal field is less than approximately (1/4)H c2. TheSR lineshape resulting from this model possesses a distinctive shape due to the magnetic penetration depth and the vortex core diameter (approximately equal to twice the coherence length ). However, for a given lineshape, there is a large range of values of and which produce nearly the same lineshape. Lineshape smearing caused by disorder in the vortex lattice increases uncertainty in values for and . If well-determined values of either (T) or (T) are not available from another technique, both of them can be determined bySR measurements alone if runs in more than one applied field at the same temperature are fit with and as shared parameters. We also present our method of estimating the degree of disorder in the vortex lattice.  相似文献

For automorphism groups of operator algebras we show how properties of the difference t – ' t are reflected in relations between the generators , . Indeed for a von Neumann algebraM with separable predual we show that if t – 't 0.28 for smallt, then = 0(+)°-1 where is an inner automorphism ofM and is a bounded derivation ofM. Under weak technical assumptions on a net of local von Neumann algebras {A(O)} in a Hilbert space , which are fulfilled by any net associated to a quantum field satisfying the standard axioms, it is shown that for every vector state in there exist observables localized in complementary wedge-shaped regions in Minkowski space-time that maximally violate Bell's inequalities in the state . If, in addition, the algebras corresponding to wedge-shaped regions are injective (which is known to be true in many examples), then the maximal violation occurs in any state on () given by a density matrix.  相似文献

The field-driven Kawasaki model with a fractionp admixture of Glauber dynamics is studied by computer simulation:p=0 corresponds to the order-parameter-onserving driven diffusive system, whilep=1 is the equilibrium Ising model. Forp=0.1 our best estimates of critical exponents based on a system of size 4096×128 are0.22, RS0.45, andv v 1. These exponents differ from both the values predicted by a field-theoretic method forp=0 and those of the equilibrium Ising model. Anisotropic finite-size scaling analyses are carried out, both for subsystems of the large system and for fully periodic systems. The results of the latter, however, are inconsistent, probably due to the complexity of the size effects. This leaves open the possibility that we are in a crossover regime fromp=0 top0 and that our critical exponents are effective ones. The acoustomagnetoelectric (AME) current effects on mesoultrasound in monopolar single-valley semiconductors with anisotropic scattering in arbitrary classical magnetic fields are computed analytically. The specimen is considered short-circuited along the q-wave vector of the ultrasound (US) wave. Two configurations are examined: 1) q is directed at an arbitrary angle 9 to the axis of highest order crystal symmetry C6 (z axis), the y axis to the (q, C6) plane, the magnetic field B lies in the (q, y) plane at an arbitrary angle to the vector q. Two transverse AME field components are calculated: along y and in the (q, C6) plane. They express the Hall effects at mesoultrasound, the planar and normal, 2) q is directed along the y axis while B is in the (x, z) plane at an angle to the C6(z) axis. The AME field component along B, the Grobner effect at mesoultrasound, is calculated. The sticking process dt + n, which constitutes the most severe limit to the number of fusions which a muon can catalyze, is reviewed. Many attempts were made to determine by calculations and measurements the probability for initial sticking s 0 (immediately after dt fusion) and for final sticking s (after the came to rest). Previous results based on neutron disappearance rates and on the observation of -X-rays were controversial and also in some disagreement with theory. New data are reported from PSI on direct observation of final sticking, using a setup with the St. Petersburg ionization chamber. These data mark a significant improvement in reliability and may clarify questions concerning previous discrepancies. The new results is s(0.56±0.04)%, lower than the theory prediction s=(0.65±0.03)%, at medium density.  相似文献

We study theE-dependence of the Lyapounov exponent <(E)> of an electron with energyE in the one dimensional Anderson model with off diagonal disorder. In the neighbourhood of the band centre we find for nonzero disorder E)>log–1 E0 forE0, but all even moments of Re(E) diverge logarithmically. As the probability of Re (E)=0 decreases to zero forE0 we conclude that the electron is always exponentially localised.  相似文献

The low-friction region of an anharmonically bound Brownian particle is examined using systematic elimination procedures. We obtain an asymptotic expression for the spectrum of the Fokker-Planck operator. Asymptotic means both small anharmonicities and small friction constants compared to the oscillatory frequency . We conclude that Kramers' low-friction equation is generally valid only for 0<0.01 and has to be modified for 0.01 by including phase-dependent terms. From these the nonlinear part of the force field in connection with a finite temperature is shown to shorten the correlation time of the equilibrium velocity autocorrelation function and to renormalize the frequency of the corresponding spectral density.  相似文献

The investigation of microstructure and chemical composition of the and phases were performed in a Ni-base superalloy by means of analytical electron microscopy. The distribution of particular elements in the alloy was revealed using X-ray mapping in a transmission electron microscope. The detected concentration profiles of alloying elements at the / interface were relatively sharp in the case of cuboidal shape of the phase while they resembled the classical diffusion profile for the oval phase. The quantitative analysis of the phase revealed much higher content of Al and lower of Ti, W, Co and Mo in the oval precipitates compared to cuboidal ones. This result is attributed to the different solidification paths, which is eutectic for the cuboidal precipitates and peritectic for the oval precipitates.  相似文献

In a superconducting whisker a region of weakened superconductivity (weak link) has been induced by a second crystal carrying a control current and crossing the first one. The problem of conduction modulation of laser radiation is considered. It is shown that acoustic wave interacting with photon field in active medium causes a periodic modulation of the number of quanta in the single-mode gas laser. The problem of modulation is solved quantum mechanically and it is shown that dielectric and conduction modulation give similar results.  相似文献

A new direct measurement of the final dt sticking probability s using a special data analysis called the survived muon method is presented. The data were obtained at PSI using a high pressure ionization chamber with H/D/T gas mixtures. The method can provide information on final sticking dt +n independent of theoretical models of stripping and initial sticking. It was found: s=(0.57±0.07±0.02)%.
