Radial symmetry and monotonicity for an integral equation

In this paper we study radial symmetry and monotonicity of positive solutions of an integral equation arising from some higher-order semilinear elliptic equations in the whole space Rn. Instead of the usual method of moving planes, we use a new Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev (HLS) type inequality for the Bessel potentials to establish the radial symmetry and monotonicity results.     

On global existence for mass-supercritical nonlinear fractional Hartree equations

In this paper, we consider the nonlinear fractional Schrödinger equations with Hartree type nonlinearity in mass-supercritical and energy-subcritical case. By sharp Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequality and the Pohozaev identity, we established a threshold condition, which leads to a global existence of solutions in energy space.     

Quantitative analysis of some system of integral equations

In this paper, we study the integrability of the non-negative solutions to the Euler-Lagrange equations associated with Weighted Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev (HLS) inequality. We obtain the optimal integrability for the solutions. The integrability and the radial symmetry (which we derived in our earlier paper) are the key ingredients to study the growth rate at the center and the decay rate at infinity of the solutions. These are also the essential properties needed to classify all non-negative solutions. Some simple generalizations are also provided here.

OSCILLATION THEOREM TO SYSTEMS OF IMPULSIVE NEUTRAL DELAY PARABOLIC PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

In this paper,we study the oscillation of solutions to the systems of impul- sive neutral delay parabolic partial differential equations.Under two different boundary conditions,we obtain some sufficient conditions for oscillation of all solutions to the systems.     

A Numerical Study of the Stability of Solitary Waves of the Bona–Smith Family of Boussinesq Systems

In this paper we study, from a numerical point of view, some aspects of stability of solitary-wave solutions of the Bona–Smith systems of equations. These systems are a family of Boussinesq-type equations and were originally proposed for modelling the two-way propagation of one-dimensional long waves of small amplitude in an open channel of water of constant depth. We study numerically the behavior of solitary waves of these systems under small and large perturbations with the aim of illuminating their long-time asymptotic stability properties and, in the case of large perturbations, examining, among other, phenomena of possible blow-up of the perturbed solutions in finite time.      

A result of systems of nonlinear complex algebraic differential equations

In this article, we mainly investigate the behavior of systems of complex differential equations when we add some condition to the quality of the solutions, and obtain an interesting result, which extends Gackstatter and Laine's result concerning complex differential equations to the systems of algebraic differential equations.     

Liouville-type theorems and decay estimates for solutions to higher order elliptic equations

Liouville-type theorems are powerful tools in partial differential equations. Boundedness assumptions of solutions are often imposed in deriving such Liouville-type theorems. In this paper, we establish some Liouville-type theorems without the boundedness assumption of nonnegative solutions to certain classes of elliptic equations and systems. Using a rescaling technique and doubling lemma developed recently in Polá?ik et al. (2007) [20], we improve several Liouville-type theorems in higher order elliptic equations, some semilinear equations and elliptic systems. More specifically, we remove the boundedness assumption of the solutions which is required in the proofs of the corresponding Liouville-type theorems in the recent literature. Moreover, we also investigate the singularity and decay estimates of higher order elliptic equations.

Existence of analytic solutions to analytic nonlinear q-difference equations

In this paper, some analytic approaches are formulated for the existence of analytic solutions of analytic nonlinear difference equations. From the point of view of dynamical systems, analytic solutions of such kinds of equations can be generally expressed by formal power series of exponential variables, so we are interested in considering a difference equation as a q-difference equation via a suitable coordinate transformation. After stating analytic results for formal series solutions of nonlinear q-difference equations, we also derive some results for the existence of analytic solutions to autonomous rational difference equations.     

Periodicity and solutions of some rational difference equations systems

In this paper we are interested in a technique for solving some nonlinear rational systems of difference equations of third order, in three-dimensional case. Moreover, we study the periodicity of solutions for such systems. Finally, some numerical examples are presented.     

Controllability of systems of Stokes equations with one control force: existence of insensitizing controls

In this paper we establish some exact controllability results for systems of two parabolic equations of the Stokes kind. In a first part, we prove the existence of insensitizing controls for the L² norm of the solutions and the curl of solutions of linear Stokes equations. Then, in the limit case where one can expect null controllability to hold for a system of two Stokes equations (namely, when the coupling terms concern first and second order derivatives, respectively), we prove this result for some general couplings.

本文提出一种利用多项式系统的正规零点分解的算法来求解代数方程组以及带有参数的代数方程组的方法．对于给定的的代数方城组,通过正规分解,可以得到一组具有三角形式的分解．根据这种三角形式,我们可以给出代数方程组的所有解．而对于带有参数方程组,将给出方程组有解时参数需满足的条件．进一步,对于给定的参数值,正规分解中得到三角形式仍然保持,通过求解三角形式的方程组从而得出原参数方程组的解．     

On entire solutions of two types of systems of complex differential-difference equations

In this paper, we will mainly investigate entire solutions with finite order of two types of systems of differential-difference equations, and obtain some interesting results. It extends some results concerning complex differential (difference) equations to the systems of differential-difference equations.     

Homoclinic solutions of discrete nonlinear systems via variational method

Homoclinic solutions arise in various discrete models with variational structure, from discrete nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger equations to discrete Hamiltonian systems. In recent years, a lot of interesting results on the homoclinic solutions of difference equations have been obtained. In this paper, we review some recent progress by using critical point theory to study the existence and multiplicity results of homoclinic solutions in some discrete nonlinear systems with variational structure.     

Linear equations and heights over division algebras

We make a start on the investigation of “small” solutions to systems of homogeneous linear equations over non-commutative division algebras. In this paper we prove some upper and lower bounds for the sizes of solutions to such systems. To measure solutions and coefficient matrices we define heights which satisfy natural invariance and finiteness properties.     

Existence of complex ℓ2 solutions of linear delay systems of difference equations

We give sufficient conditions for the existence of complex ?₂ solutions of a non-homogeneous system of linear difference equations and of two general classes of delay systems of linear difference equations. In some cases, bounds of the established solutions are also given. As a consequence of the space ?₂ where we work, information can be obtained about the asymptotic behavior of the established solutions and, the asymptotic stability of the zero equilibrium point of the systems under consideration. The method we use is a functional-analytic one.

主要考虑一类来源于电流体动力学中的由非线性非局部方程组耦合而成的耗散型系统的初值问题.利用Lorentz空间中广义L~p-L~q热半群估计和广义Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev不等式,首先证明了该系统在Lorentz空间中自相似解的整体存在性和唯一性,然后建立了自相似解当时间趋于无穷时的渐近稳定性.因为Lorentz空间包含了具有奇性的齐次函数,因次上述结果保证了具有奇性的初值所对应的自相似解的整体存在性和渐近稳定性.
