This paper is focused on higher order differentiation of Fourier series of functions. By means of Stokes's transformation, the recursion relations between the Fourier coefficients in Fourier series of different order (partial) derivatives of the functions as well as the general formulas for Fourier series of higher order (partial) derivatives of the functions are acquired. And then, the sufficient conditions for term‐by‐term differentiation of Fourier series of the functions are presented. These findings are subsequently used to reinvestigate the Fourier series methods for linear elasto‐dynamical systems. The results given in this paper on the constituent elements, together with their combinatorial modes and numbering, of the sets of coefficients concerning 2rth order linear differential equation with constant coefficients are found to be different from the results deduced by Chaudhuri back in 2002. And it is also shown that the displacement solution proposed by Li in 2009 is valid only when the second order mixed partial derivative of the displacement vanishes at all of the four corners of the rectangular plate. The present paper is concerned with asymptotic behaviours of the solutions to the micropolar fluid motion equations in R2. Upper and lower bounds are derived for the L2 decay rates of higher order derivatives of solutions to the micropolar fluid flows. The findings are mainly based on the basic estimates of the linearized micropolar fluid motion equations and generalized Gronwall type argument.  相似文献

Making use of the familiar convolution structure of analytic functions, in this paper we introduce and investigate two new subclasses of multivalently analytic functions of complex order. Higher order nets and sequences are used in quasi-Monte Carlo rules for the approximation of high dimensional integrals over the unit cube. Hence one wants to have higher order nets and sequences of high quality.In this paper we introduce a duality theory for higher order nets whose construction is not necessarily based on linear algebra over finite fields. We use this duality theory to prove propagation rules for such nets. This way we can obtain new higher order nets (sometimes with improved quality) from existing ones. We also extend our approach to the construction of higher order sequences.  相似文献

In this article, similarity reductions of the (2 + 1)-dimensional Bogoyavlenskii-Schieff equation of higher order have been done by Lie group method. We have determine the geometric vector field, infinitesimal generators, symmetric groups, and commutator table of Lie algebra with the help of Lie symmetry analysis. The new close form solutions and similarity solutions of the (2 + 1)-dimensional Bogoyavlenskii-Schieff equation of higher order have been determined from the reduction equations. Grey theory is one approach that can be used to construct a model with limited samples to provide better forecasting advantage for short-term problems. Generally, the GM (1, 1) and Discrete GM (1, 1) models are two typical grey forecasting models in grey theory. However, there are two shortcomings in the above grey models respectively, i.e., the homogeneous-exponent simulative deviation in GM (1, 1) model, and the unequal conversion between the original and white equations in DGM (1, 1) model. In this paper, we firstly propose a novel Generalized GM (1, 1) model termed GGM (1, 1) model, based on GM (1, 1) and DGM (1, 1) models, to overcome the above shortcomings. Then, we detailedly study four important properties in this new grey model. Four estimative approaches of stepwise ratio in GGM (1, 1) model context is also covered. In the end, we simulate and forecast the fuel production in China during the period 2003–2010 using three GM (1, 1) models. The empirical results show that GGM (1, 1) model has higher simulative and predictive accuracy than GM (1, 1) and DGM (1, 1) models. This work contributes significantly to improve grey forecasting theory and proposes a optimized GM (1, 1) model.  相似文献

Define D:Z2Z2 to be the endomorphism of S induced by the map {(00,0),(01,1),(10,1),(11,0)} and V:Z2Z2 by V(x)=−1−x. We prove that D, V°D, S, and V°S are conjugate to S and are the only continuous endomorphisms of S whose parity vector function is solenoidal. We investigate the properties of D as a dynamical system, and use D to construct a conjugacy from the 3x+1 function T:Z2Z2 to a parity-neutral dynamical system. We also construct a conjugacy R from D to T. We apply these results to establish that, in order to prove the 3x+1 conjecture, it suffices to show that for any mZ+, there exists some nN such that R−1(m) has binary representation of the form or .  相似文献

This paper is concerned with computing ?? ‐eigenpairs of symmetric tensors. We first show that computing ?? ‐eigenpairs of a symmetric tensor is equivalent to finding the nonzero solutions of a nonlinear system of equations, and then propose a modified normalized Newton method (MNNM) for it. Our proposed MNNM method is proved to be locally and cubically convergent under some suitable conditions, which greatly improves the Newton correction method and the orthogonal Newton correction method recently provided by Jaffe, Weiss and Nadler since these two methods only enjoy a quadratic rate of convergence. As an application, the unitary symmetric eigenpairs of a complex‐valued symmetric tensor arising from the computation of quantum entanglement in quantum physics are calculated by the MNNM method. Some numerical results are presented to illustrate the efficiency and effectiveness of our method.  相似文献

Summary Kernel estimators of conditional expectations and joint probability densities are studied in the context of a vector-valued stationary time series. Weak consistency is established under minimal moment conditions and under a hierarchy of weak dependence and bandwidth conditions. Prompted by these conditions, some finite-sample theory explores the effect of serial dependence on variability of estimators, and its implications for choice of bandwidth. A hypergraph is said to be 1-Sperner if for every two hyperedges the smallest of their two set differences is of size one. We present several applications of 1-Sperner hypergraphs to graphs. First, we consider several ways of associating hypergraphs to graphs, namely, vertex cover, clique, independent set, dominating set, and closed neighborhood hypergraphs. For each of them, we characterize graphs yielding 1-Sperner hypergraphs. These results give new characterizations of threshold and domishold graphs. Second, we apply a characterization of 1-Sperner hypergraphs to derive decomposition theorems for two classes of split graphs, a class of bipartite graphs, and a class of cobipartite graphs. These decomposition theorems, based on certain matrix partitions, lead to new classes of graphs of bounded clique-width and new polynomially solvable cases of three basic domination problems: domination, total domination, and connected domination.  相似文献

Equivalent conditions for a trajectory of a C0-semigroup T(⋅) (resp. cosine function C(⋅)) of operators to have the growth order O(tα) or o(tα) are expressed in terms of Cesàro and Abel means of the norm of the trajectory. We then deduce characterizations of growth order and stability for T(⋅) and C(⋅). It is also shown that under some Tauberian condition the uniform boundedness (resp. strong convergence) of T(⋅) is equivalent to the uniform boundedness (resp. strong convergence) of its Abel means.  相似文献
