The [MoCu] carbon monoxide dehydrogenase (CODH) is a Cu-containing molybdo-flavoprotein, the active site of which contains a pterin-dithiolene cofactor bound to a sulfido-bridged dinuclear Mo-Cu complex. In this paper, the synthesis and characterization of dinuclear Mo-Cu complexes relevant to the active site of [MoCu]-CODH are described. Reaction of [MoO2S2]2- with CuCN affords the dinuclear complex [O2MoS2Cu(CN)]2- (1), in which the CN- ligand can be replaced with various aryl thiolates to give rise to a series of dinuclear complexes [O2MoS2Cu(SAr)]2- (Ar = Ph (2), o-Tol (3), and p-Tol (4)). An alternative synthesis of complex 2 is the reaction of [MoO2S2]2- with [Cu(SPh)3]2-. Similarly, [O2MoS2Cu(PPh3)]- (5), [O2MoS2Cu(dppe)]- (dppe = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane) (6), and [O2MoS2Cu(triphos)]- (triphos = 1,1,1-tris[(diphenylphosphino)methyl]ethane) (7) were prepared from the reactions of [MoO2S2]2- with the Cu(I) phosphine complexes. Treatment of 1, 2, 4, or 5 with dithiols (1,2-(SH)2C6H4, 1,2-(SH)2C6H2-3,6-Cl2, and 1,2-(SH)2C2H4), in acetonitrile, leads to the replacement of a molybdenum-bound oxo ligand to yield [(dithiolate)Mo(O)S2CuL]2- (L = CN, SAr; dithiolate = 1,2-S2C6H4, 1,2-S2C6H2-3,6-Cl2, or 1,2-S2C2H4) (8-13) or [(1,2-S2C6H4)Mo(O)S2Cu(PPh3)]- (14) complexes. 相似文献

Synthetic methods for [Et(4)N](4)[W(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)] (1), [Et(4)N](4)[Mo(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)] (2), [W(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)(CuTMEN)(4)] (3), and [Mo(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)(CuTMEN)(4)] (4) are described. [Et(4)N](2)[MS(4)], [Et(4)N](2)[MS(2)O(2)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and KBH(4) (or Et(4)NBH(4)) were used as starting materials for the synthesis of 1 and 2. Compounds 3 and 4 were produced by reaction of [Et(4)N](2)[WOS(3)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and TMEN and by reaction of [Me(4)N](2)[MO(2)O(2)S(8)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and TMEN, respectively. Crystal structures of compounds 1-4 were determined. Compounds 1 and 2 crystallized in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 14.264(5) ?, b = 32.833(8) ?, c = 14.480(3) ?, beta = 118.66(2) degrees, V = 5950.8(5) ?(3), and Z = 4 for 1 and a = 14.288(5) ?, b = 32.937(10) ?, c = 14.490(3) ?, beta = 118.75(2) degrees, V = 5978.4(7) ?(3), and Z = 4 for 2. Compounds 3 and 4 crystallized in the trigonal space group P3(2)21 with a = 13.836(6) ?, c = 29.81(1) ?, V = 4942(4) ?(3), and Z = 3 for 3 and a = 13.756(9) ?, c = 29.80(2) ?, V = 4885(6) ?(3), and Z = 3 for 4. The cluster cores have approximate C(2v) symmetry. The anions of 1 and 2 may be viewed as consisting of two butterfly-type [CuMOS(3)Cu] fragments bridged by two [MOS(3)](2-) groups. Eight metal atoms in the anions are arranged in an approximate square configuration, with a Cu(4)M(4)S(12) ring structure. Compounds 3 and 4 can be considered to consist of one [M(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)](4-) (the anions of 1 and 2) unit capped by Cu(TMEN)(+) groups on each M atom; the Cu(TMEN)(+) groups extend alternately up and down around the Cu(4)M(4) square. The electronic spectra of the compounds are dominated by the internal transitions of the [MOS(3)](2-) moiety. The hydrothermal reaction of (NH(4))(6)Mo(7)O(24).4H(2)O, CuCl(2).2H(2)O, and 4,4'-bipyridine yields bipyridine-ligated copper-trimolybdate monohydrate [Cu(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)(Mo(3)O(10))].H(2)O in the monoclinic system with space group of C(2/c) and cell parameters of a = 15.335(2) A, b = 15.535(2) A, c = 15.106(2) A, beta = 101.162(2) degrees, V = 3530.7(9) A(3), and Z = 8. Its structure consists of one-dimensional infinite ([Mo3O10]2-)( infinity ) chains linked through [Cu2(H2O)2(4,4'-bipy)] units. The Mo-O chain contains distorted [MoO(6)] octahedra connected through corner-sharing oxygen atoms into infinite chains along the c direction and each chain is located in the channel formed by four adjacent crossing chains of [Cu(4,4'-bipy)(H2O)](n)(2n+). The crystal shows weak conductivity through Mo-O chain along the c direction and insulating property along either a or b direction. Furthermore, a crystalline bimetallic oxide, CuMo3O10, forms when the title compound undergoes thermal treatment in N(2) atmosphere after the complete removal of the ligands. 相似文献

Approaches to the assembly of (eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3-based supramolecular compounds from two preformed incomplete cubane-like clusters [PPh4][(eta5-C5Me5)WS3(CuX)3] (X = CN, 1a; X = Br, 1b) have been investigated. Treatment of 1a with LiBr/1,4-pyrazine (1,4-pyz), pyridine (py), LiCl/py, or 4,4'-bipyridine (4,4'-bipy) and treatment of 1b with 4,4'-bipy gave rise to a new set of W/Cu/S cluster-based compounds, [Li[((eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3(mu3-Br))2(mu-CN)3].C6H6]infinity (2), [(eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3(mu-CN)2(py)]infinity (3), [[PPh4][(eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3(mu3-Cl)(mu-CN)(CN)].py]infinity (4), [PPh4]2[(eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3(CN)2]2(mu-CN)2.(4,4'-bipy) (5), and [[(eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3Br(mu-Br)(4,4'-bipy)].Et2O]infinity (6). The structures of 2-6 have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, and single-crystal X-ray crystallography. Compound 2 displays a 1D ladder-shaped chain structure built of square-like [[(eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3(mu3-Br)(mu-CN)]4](mu-CN)2(2-) anions via two pairs of Cu-mu-CN-Cu bridges. Compound 3 consists of a single 3D diamond-like network in which each (eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3 unit, serving as a tetrahedral node, interconnects with four other nearby units through Cu-mu-CN-Cu bridges. Compound 4 contains a 1D zigzag chain array made of cubane-like [(eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3(mu3-Cl)(mu-CN)(CN)]- anions linked by a couple of Cu-mu-CN-Cu bridges. Compound 5 contains a dimeric structure in which the two incomplete cubane-like [(eta5-C5Me5)WS3(CuCN)2(mu-CN)]- anions are strongly held together via a pair of Cu-mu-CN-Cu bridges. Compound 6 contains a 2D brick-wall layer structure in which dimers of [(eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3Br(4,4'-bipy)]2 are interconnected via four Cu-mu-Br-Cu bridges. The successful construction of (eta5-C5Me5)WS3Cu3-based supramolecular compounds 2-6 from the geometry-fixed clusters 1a and 1b may expand the scope of the rational design and construction of cluster-based supramolecular assemblies. 相似文献

The title compound, {[Cu(2,2'-bipy)(C7H4O5S)(H2O)2](H2O}n (2,2'-bipy = 2,2'- bipyridine), was synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction of Cu(NO3)2(3H2O, 2,2'-bipyridine and 2-sulphobenzoic acid, and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystal is of triclinic, space group P with a = 9.21(3), b = 10.17(3), c = 10.77(3) (A), α = 77.017(16), β = 89.80(8), γ = 68.46(7)°, V = 911(5) (A)3, Z = 2, (D/s)max = 0.001, Mr = 473.94, Dc = 1.728 g/cm3, μ(MoKα) = 1.365 mm-1, F(000) = 486, the final R = 0.0246 and wR = 0.0628 for 3809 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). The rare-earth metal(III) oxide selenides of the formula La4O4Se[Se2], Ce4O4Se[Se2], Pr4O4Se[Se2], Nd4O4Se[Se2], and Sm4O4Se[Se2] were synthesized from a mixture of the elements with selenium dioxide as the oxygen source at 750 degrees C. Single crystal X-ray diffraction was used to determine their crystal structures. The isostructural compounds M4O4Se[Se2] (M=La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm) crystallize in the orthorhombic space group Amm2 with cell dimensions a=857.94(7), b=409.44(4), c=1316.49(8) pm for M=La; a=851.37(6), b=404.82(3), c=1296.83(9) pm for M=Ce; a=849.92(6), b=402.78(3), c=1292.57(9) pm for M=Pr; a=845.68(4), b=398.83(2), c=1282.45(7) pm for M=Nd; and a=840.08(5), b=394.04(3), c=1263.83(6) pm for M=Sm (Z=2). In their crystal structures, Se2- anions as well as [Se-Se]2- dumbbells interconnect {[M4O4]4+} infinity 2 layers. These layers are composed of three crystallographically different, distorted [OM4]10+ tetrahedra, which are linked via four common edges. The compounds exhibit strong Raman active modes at around 215 cm(-1), which can be assigned to the Se-Se stretching vibration. Optical band gaps for La4O4Se[Se2], Ce4O4Se[Se2], Pr4O4Se[Se2], Nd4O4Se[Se2], and Sm4O4Se[Se2] were derived from diffuse reflectance spectra. The energy values at which absorption takes place are typical for semiconducting materials. For the compounds M4O4Se[Se2] (M=La, Pr, Nd, Sm) the fundamental band gaps, caused by transitions from the valence band to the conduction band (VB-CB), lie around 1.9 eV, while for M=Ce an absorption edge occurs at around 1.7 eV, which can be assigned to f-d transitions of Ce3+. Magnetic susceptibility measurements of Ce4O4Se[Se2] and Nd4O4Se[Se2] show Curie-Weiss behavior above 150 K with derived experimental magnetic moments of 2.5 micro B/Ce and 3.7 micro B/Nd and Weiss constants of theta p=-64.9 K and theta p=-27.8 K for the cerium and neodymium compounds, respectively. Down to 1.8 K no long-range magnetic ordering could be detected. Thus, the large negative values for theta p indicate the presence of strong magnetic frustration within the compounds, which is due to the geometric arrangement of the magnetic sublattice in form of [OM4]10+ tetrahedra. 相似文献

A new copper(H) complex [Cu2(DMF)(H2O)(C7H4NO4)2(C7H3NO4)]2-3.5DMF has been synthesized and its structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal is of triclinic, space group P1^- with a = 10.722(3), b = 18.170(4), c = 20.923(7)A,α = 105.297(9), β = 101.701(10), γ = 105.74(1)°, V= 3615(1)A^3, Z = 2, C58.50H64.50Cu4N1l.50O3150, Mr = 1686.90, Dc = 1.550 g/cm^3,μ= 1.255 mm^-1, F(000) = 1728.00, T = 150(2) K, the final R = 0.0640 and wR = 0.173 for 11310 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ(I). Self-assembly of the building block [Cu(oxbe)](-) with Mn(II) led to a novel coordination polymer ([Cu(oxbe)]Mn(H(2)O)[Cu(oxbe)(DMF)])n).nDMF.nH(2)O, where H(3)oxbe is a new dissymmetrical ligand N-benzoato-N'-(2-aminoethyl)oxamido and DMF = dimethylformamide. The crystal forms in the triclinic system, space group Ponemacr;, with a = 9.260(4) A, b = 12.833(5) A, c = 15.274(6) A, alpha = 76.18(3) degrees, beta = 82.7(3) degrees, gamma = 82.31(3) degrees, and Z = 2. The crystal structure of the title complex reveals that the two-dimensional bimetallic layers are constructed of Cu(II)Mn(II)Cu(II) chains linked together by carboxylate bridge and hydrogen bonds help to produce a novel three-dimensional channel-like structure. Six Cu(I) complexes with cis,cis-1,3,5-triaminocyclohexane derivatives (R3CY, R = Et, iBu, and Bn), [Cu(MeCN)(Et3CY)]SbF6 (1), [Cu(MeCN)(iBu3CY)]SbF6 (2), [Cu(MeCN)(Bn3CY)]SbF6 (3), [Cu(CO)(Et3CY)]SbF6 (4), [Cu(CO)(iBu3CY)]SbF6 (5), and [Cu(CO)(Bn3CY)]SbF6 (6), were prepared to probe the ability of copper complexes to effectively catalyze oxygenation reactions. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, electrochemical and X-ray structure analyses, electronic absorption spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, 1H NMR spectroscopy, and ESI mass spectrometry. The crystal structures of 1-3 and 6 and the CO stretching vibrations (nuCO) of 4-6 demonstrate that the ability of R3CY to donate electron density to the Cu(I) atom is stronger than that of the previously reported ligands, 1,4,7-triazacyclononane (R3TACN) and 1,4,7-triazacyclodecane (R3TACD). Reactions of complexes 1-3 with dioxygen in THF or CH2Cl2 at -105 to -80 degrees C yield bis(mu-oxo)dicopper(III) complexes 7-9 as intermediates as confirmed by electronic absorption spectroscopy and resonance Raman spectroscopy. The Cu-O stretching vibrations, nu(Cu-O) for 7 (16O2: 553, 581 cm-1and 18O2: 547 cm-1) and 8 (16O2: 571 cm-1 and 18O2: 544 cm-1), are observed in a lower energy region than previously reported for bis(micro-oxo) complexes. The decomposition rates of complexes 7-9 in THF at -90 degrees C are 2.78 x 10-4 for 7, 8.04 x 10-4 for 8, and 3.80 x 10-4 s-1 for 9. The decomposition rates of 7 and 8 in CH2Cl2 were 5.62 x 10-4 and 1.62 x 10-3 s-1, respectively, and the thermal stabilities of 7-9 in CH2Cl2 are lower than the values measured for the complexes in THF. The decomposition reactions obeyed first-order kinetics, and the H/D isotope experiments for 8 and 9 indicate that the N-dealkylation reaction is the rate-determining step in the decomposition processes. On the other hand, the decomposition reaction of 7 in THF results in the oxidation of THF (acting as an exogenous substrate) to give 2-hydroxy tetrahydrofuran and gamma-butyrolactone as oxidation products. Detailed investigation of the N-dealkylation reaction for 8 by kinetic experiments using N-H/D at -90 degrees C showed a kinetic isotope effect of 1.25, indicating that a weak electrostatic interaction between the N-H hydrogen and mu-oxo oxygen contributes to the major effect on the rate-determining step of N-dealkylation. X-ray crystal structures of the bis(micro-hydroxo)dicopper(II) complexes, [Cu2(OH)2(Et3CY)2](CF3SO3)2 (10), [Cu2(OH)2(iBu3CY)2](CF3SO3)2 (11), and [Cu2(OH)2(Bn3CY)2](ClO4)2 (12), which have independently been prepared as the final products of bis(micro-oxo)dicopper(III) intermediates, suggest that an effective interaction between N-H and mu-oxo in the Cu(III)2(micro-O)2 core may enhance the oxidation ability of the metal-oxo species. 相似文献

La2O2S:Eu3+ nanocrystals (NCs) with a mean size of 18 nm are prepared by gel thermolysis. The morphology of the particles is hexagonal. The surface Eu3+ ions are first detected by time-resolved spectra in the 5D0 --> 7F1 region. Because the symmetry of the sites occupied by surface Eu3+ ions is lower, the 5D0 --> 7F1(E) line, which is doubly degenerate in the bulk crystal, is split, and the fluorescence lifetime becomes shorter. The results of the laser-selective excitation indicate that the degradation of the site symmetry of Eu3+ seems to be abrupt, which means the as-synthesized La2O2S:Eu3+ NCs might be of the La2O2S/La2O(2-x)S(1+x)core-shell structure and the shell are not in a disordered state but a rather pure one. 相似文献

A new copper hydroxydiphosphate Cu3(P2O6OH)2 was synthesized, by soft chemistry. The crystal structure was solved ab initio from X-ray powder diffraction data in the triclinic space group P. The structure is built up from [Cu3O10]infinity zigzag chains linked by P2O6(OH) groups to form a tridimensional framework. The [Cu3O10]infinity chains consist of edge-sharing polyhedra. The structure contains two sorts of copper polyhedra: one CuO6 octahedron and two CuO5 pyramids. Magnetization measurements confirm the presence of divalent copper and suggest antiferromagnetic interactions at low temperature. 相似文献

Hydrothermal reactions of 1,2,4-triazole with the appropriate copper salt have provided eight structurally unique members of the Cu/triazolate/X system, with X = F-, Cl-, Br-, I-, OH-, and SO4(2-). The anionic components X of [Cu3(trz)4(H2O)3]F2 (1) and [Cu6(trz)4Br]Cu4Br4(OH) (4) do not participate in the framework connectivity, acting as isolated charge-compensating counterions. In contrast, the anionic subunits X of [Cu(II)Cu(I)(trz)Cl2] (2), [Cu6(trz)4Br2] (3), [Cu(II)Cu(I)(trz)Br2] (5), [Cu3(trz)I2] (6), [Cu6(II)Cu2(I)(trz)6(SO4)3(OH)2(H2O)] (8), and [Cu4(trz)3]OH.7.5H2O (9.7.5H2O) are intimately involved in the three-dimensional connectivities. The structure of [Cu(II)Cu(I)(trz)2][Cu3(I)I4] (7) is constructed from two independent substructures: a three-dimensional cationic {Cu2(trz)2}n(n+) component and {Cu3I4}n(n-) chains. Curiously, four of the structures are mixed-valence Cu(I)/Cu(II) materials: 2, 5, 7, and 8. The only Cu(II) species is 1, while 3, 4, 6, and 9.7.5H2O exhibit exclusively Cu(I) sites. The magnetic properties of the Cu(II) species 1 and of the mixed-valence materials 5, 7, 8, and the previously reported [Cu3(trz)3OH][Cu2Br4] have been studied. The temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility of 1 conforms to a simple isotropic model above 13 K, while below this temperature, there is weak ferromagnetic ordering due to spin canting of the antiferromagnetically coupled trimer units. Compounds 5 and 7 exhibit magnetic properties consistent with a one-dimensional chain model. The magnetic data for 8 were fit over the temperature range 2-300 K using the molecular field approximation with J = 204 cm(-1), g = 2.25, and zJ' = -38 cm(-1). The magnetic properties of [Cu3(trz)3OH][Cu2Br4] are similar to those of 8, as anticipated from the presence of similar triangular {Cu3(trz)3(mu3-OH)}(2+) building blocks. The Cu(I) species 3, 4, 6, and 9 as well as the previously reported [Cu(5)(trz)3Cl2] exhibit luminescence thermochromism. The spectra are characterized by broad emissions, long lifetimes, and significant Stokes' shifts, characteristic of phosphorescence. 相似文献
