Polymer-supported catalysts of several kinds, including-cyclodextrin (P-CD),-cyclodextrin-diethylenetriamine (P-CD-DETA), and-cyclodextrin-N-methylhydroxamate (P-CD-NMHA)-containing polymers, as well as their corresponding metal complexes, were synthesized and examined as catalysts for the hydrolysis of phosphate esters. The kinetic measurements were performed in a phosphate buffer (0.05 M, pH 8.2) at a temperature of 25.0±0.1 °C. Each kinetic run was initiated on introducing ester stock solution (0.13 ml) containing diphenylp-nitrophenyl phosphate (DPPNPP) in dioxane (0.010 M). The rate of hydrolysis of DPPNPP was evaluated by measuring the absorbance of liberatedp-nitrophenol at 402 nm. The dissociation constants between DPPNPP and the polymers P-CD, P-CD-DETA and P-CD-NMHA obtained from Eadie-type plots were 16.8, 16.4 and 8.0 (×10–3 M) and the acceleration factors were 1.5, 2.8 and 8.6 respectively. Hence P-CD-NMHA is the most promising catalyst. The activation parameters, preexponential factor (A) and activation energy using P-CD-NMHA as catalyst, areA=1.2×109 min–1 andE a=43 kJ/mol respectively; the latter was about 12 kJ/mol lower than the activation energy of spontaneous hydrolysis. The results indicate that the catalytic power of P-CD-NMHA may reflect the combined behavior of molecular recognition and nucleophilicity.  相似文献

The hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl acetate by bifunctional polymer catalysts was studied in 28.9% EtOH–H20 at 30°C. Partial (ca. 10 mole%) quaternization of poly(4-vinylpyridine) and poly(1-vinyl-2-ethylimidazole) with benzyl N-benzyl chloroacetohydroxamate and the subsequent removal of the benzyl group produced water-soluble polymers containing zwitterionic hydroxamate groups and free pyridine (or imidazole) groups. The zwitterionic hydroxamate was a nucleophile more than 10 times as effective as simple hydroxamate anions, and the acetyl hydroxamate intermediate was efficiently hydrolyzed by the intrapolymeric pyridine (or imidazole) group. Thus, the catalytic efficiency of these bifunctional polymers was much better than monofunctional polymers which contain either hydroxamate or imidazole, and amounted to 10–20% of that of α-chymotrypsin under a comparable condition.  相似文献

Four 1,1′-binaphthalene based bis-urea derivatives bearing aryl groups at end-on nitrogen atoms IIIa–d were synthesized as potential sensor molecules. These receptors show characteristic UV-VIS spectral changes on complexation with anions and they exhibit selective recognition of F over other halide anions. Interaction of a fluoride anion with urea NH groups was confirmed by 1H NMR data. The presence of an electron-withdrawing nitro group in N′-aryls (receptors IIIa and IIIb) appeared to be necessary for naked-eye colorimetric detection. These receptors show dramatic color change from light-yellow to orange (IIIa) or to orange-red (IIIb) in the presence of guest fluoride anions already at concentrations of 10−5 mol dm−3 of the receptor and host.  相似文献

Supported titanium–magnesium catalysts (TMC) comprising isolated and clustered titanium ions in different oxidation states, which are obtained using titanium compounds of different composition (TiCl4, TiCl3?nDBE (DBE – dibutyl ether), [η6–BenzeneTiAl2Cl8]), were synthesized and tested in ethylene polymerization. The state of titanium ions was studied by the ESR method both for the procatalysts and after their interaction with triisobutilaluminum. For identification of ESR‐silent Ti3+ ions and Ti2+ ions, special procedures of additional catalyst treatment with pyridine, water, and chloropentafluorobenzene were used to obtain Ti3+ ions that are observable in ESR spectra. In distinction to numerous earlier works performed with the TiCl4/MgCl2 catalyst comprising after the interaction with AlR3 the Ti3+ surface compounds both as isolated ions and clusters (ESR‐silent), this work considers the [η6–BenzeneTiAl2Cl8]/MgCl2 catalyst (TMC‐3) comprising mainly the isolated Ti2+ ions and a new catalyst TMC‐4 obtained by treating the TMC‐3 with chloropentafluorobenzene. This catalyst comprises only the isolated Ti3+ ions both before and after the interaction with triisobutylaluminum. It was shown that in spite of sharp distinctions between the catalysts under consideration concerning titanium oxidation state and the ratio of isolated Ti3+ ions to clustered ones, all these catalysts produce polyethylenes with similar molecular weights and molecular‐weight distributions. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The binding of methyl orange, ethyl orange, and propyl orange by polycations involving various apolar pendant groups such as methyl, ethyl, benzyl, or dodecylbenzyl groups has been examined quantitatively by an equilibrium dialysis method at 5, 15, 25, and 35°C. The first binding constants and the thermodynamic parameters in the course of the binding have been calculated. The favorable free energy of the binding is accompanied by an entropy gain and an exothermic enthalpy change. The shorter the alkyl chain of the dyes or the polymers, the more negative is the enthalpy change and hence the smaller is the entropy change. Furthermore, an increase in binding affinity can be created in the polycation upon introduction of hydrophobic groups. In particular, the binding ability of the polycation containing a dodecylbenzyl group for methyl orange is almost 300-fold that of bovine serum albumin. Therefore it is clear that hydrophobic interactions, as well as electrostatic ones, are involved in the binding.  相似文献
