The location of the hole and acid proton in neutral nonprotonated and protonated mixed (phthalocyaninato)(porphyrinato) yttrium double-decker complexes, respectively, is studied on the basis of density functional theory (DFT) calculations on the molecular structures, molecular orbitals, atomic charges, and electronic absorption and infrared spectra of the neutral, reduced, and two possible protonated species of a mixed (phthalocyaninato)(porphyrinato) yttrium compound: [(Pc)Y(Por)], [(Pc)Y(Por)]-, [(HPc)Y(Por)], and [(Pc)Y(HPor)], respectively. When the neutral [(Pc)Y(Por)] is reduced to [(Pc)Y(Por)]-, the calculated results on the molecular structure, atomic charge, and electronic absorption and infrared spectra show that the added electron has more influence on the Pc ring than on its Por counterpart, suggesting that the location of the hole is on the Pc ring in neutral [(Pc)Y(Por)]. Nevertheless, comparison of the calculation results on the structure, orbital composition, charge distribution, and electronic absorption and infrared spectra between [(HPc)Y(Por)] and [(Pc)Y(HPor)] leads to the conclusion that the acid proton in the protonated mixed (phthalocyaninato)(porphyrinato) yttrium compound should be localized on the Por ring rather than the Pc ring, despite the localization of the hole on the Pc ring in [(Pc)Y(Por)]. This result is in line with the trend revealed by comparative studies of the X-ray single-crystal molecular structures between [MIII{Pc(alpha-OC5H11)4}(TClPP)] and [M(III)H{Pc(alpha-OC5H11)4}(TClPP)] (H2TClPP=5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-chlorophenyl)porphyrin; M=Sm, Eu). The present work not only represents the first systemic DFT study on the structures and properties of mixed (phthalocyaninato)(porphyrinato) yttrium double-decker complexes, but more importantly sheds further light on the nature of protonated bis(tetrapyrrole) rare-earth complexes. 相似文献

The electronic absorption spectroscopic data for two series of 60 unsubstituted/substituted bis(phthalocyaninato) and mixed [tetrakis(4-chlorophenyl)porphyrinato](phthalocyaninato) rare earth complexes M(Pc)2, M(Pc∗)2 and M(TClPP)(Pc) [M = Y, La…Lu except Pm; Pc∗ = dianion of 2,3,9,10,16,17,23,24-octakis(4-methoxyphenoxy)phthalocyanine [Pc(MeOPhO)8], dianion of 3(4),12(13),21(22),30(31)-tetra(tert-butyl)phthalocyanine (TBPc) and TClPP = tetra(4-chloro)phenylporphyrin] have been measured in CHCl3. In this paper, the influence of the symmetry of macrocycle rare earth molecules, the effects of ionic radius of the rare earth metal and the influence of substituent species (tert-butyl and 4-methoxyphenoxy groups) onto the peripheral benzene rings on the electronic absorption characteristics of sandwich-type compounds have also been tentatively studied in detail. 相似文献

Correlation between molecular structures and slow relaxation of magnetization of three mixed (phthalocyaninato)(porphyrinato) dysprosium(III) double-deckers clearly reveals the effect of the sandwich-type molecular structure, in particular the twist angle, on the quantum tunneling (QT) at zero dc field of these complexes, providing the first direct evidence to the theoretical inference. 相似文献

Raman and infrared spectra of propylgermane, CH3CH2CH2GeH3, and its Ge-deuterated analog, CH3CH2CH2GeD3, were investigated in their gaseous, liquid and solid states. The normal coordinate treatment was carried out by density functional theory (DFT) calculation, using B3LYP/6-31G* and 6-311++G** basis sets, and the corresponding fundamental vibrations were assigned. The trans (T) and gauche (G) forms around the central C–C bond coexisted in the gaseous and liquid states and only the T form existed in the solid state. From the temperature dependent measurements of the Raman spectra in the liquid state, the enthalpy difference was found to be ΔH(T−G)=−0.36±0.02 kcalmol−1 with the T form being more stable. The energy differences between the isomers obtained by DFT calculations were ΔE(T−G)=−0.46 kcalmol−1 and ΔE(T−G)=−0.87 kcalmol−1 by the 6-31G* basis set and 6-311++G** basis set, respectively. 相似文献

The vibrational spectra of meso-tetraphenylporphyrin diacid (H4TPP2+) have been studied with the density functional theory. Raman and IR spectra of H4TPP2+ and its N-deuterated analogue (D4TPP2+) are measured and compared with the computational results. Complete assignments of observed IR and Raman bands were proposed on the bases of calculation results. The DFT calculations reproduce 140 observed fundamentals with the RMS 8.6 cm-1. The computational as well as the experimental results reveal that the saddle-distortion of porphyrin macrocycle for the diacid leads to a significant effect on its vibrational spectra. Especially, several out-of-plane skeletal modes, which were either unobserved or very weak in the Raman spectra of CuTPP and H2TPP, are activated in the Raman spectra of the diacids. In addition, enhancement for the Raman bands of phenyl CC stretching modes were observed and attributed to the conjugation effect of pi-systems of the phenyl and the porphyrinato macrocycles. 相似文献

The half-sandwich rare-earth complexes [M(III)(acac)(TClPP)] (M = Sm, Eu, Y; TClPP = meso-tetrakis(4-chlorophenyl)porphyrinate; acac = acetylacetonate), generated in situ from [M(acac)3] x n H2O and H2(TClPP), were treated with 1,8,15,22-tetrakis(3-pentyloxy)phthalocyanine [H2{Pc(alpha-OC5H11)4}] (Pc = phthalocyaninate) under reflux in n-octanol to yield both the neutral nonprotonated and protonated (phthalocyaninato)(porphyrinato) rare-earth double-decker complexes, [M(III){Pc(alpha-OC5H11)4}(TClPP)] (1-3) and [M(III)H{Pc(alpha-OC5H11)4}(TClPP)] (4-6), respectively. In contrast, reaction of [Y(III)(acac)(TClPP)] with 1,4,8,11,15,18,22,25-octakis(1-butyloxy)phthalocyanine [H2Pc(alpha-OC4H9)8] gave only the protonated double-decker complex [Y(III)H{Pc(alpha-OC4H9)8}(TClPP)] (7). These observations clearly show the importance of the number and positions of substituents on the phthalocyanine ligand in controlling the nature of the (phthalocyaninato)(porphyrinato) rare-earth double-deckers obtained. In particular, alpha-alkoxylation of the phthalocyanine ligand is found to stabilize the protonated form, a fact supported by molecular-orbital calculations. A combination of mass spectrometry, NMR, UV-visible, near-IR, MCD, and IR spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction analyses, facilitated the differentiation of the newly prepared neutral nonprotonated and protonated double-decker complexes. The crystal structure of the protonated form has been determined for the first time. 相似文献

Two novel sandwich-type mixed (phthalocyaninato)(porphyrinato) rare earth double-decker complexes with decreased molecular symmetry of Cs M(Pc)[D(NHC(8)H(17))(2)PP] [M = Eu, Lu; Pc = unsubstituted phthalocyaninate; D(NHC(8)H(17))(2)PP = 5,10-di(phenyl)-15,20-di(4-octylamino-phenyl)porphyrinate] (1, 2) have been designed, prepared, and characterized. The single crystal and molecular structure of the Eu analogue has been determined by X-ray diffraction analysis, revealing the head-to-tail supramolecular chains formed from closely bound double-decker molecules depending on the N-H-N hydrogen bonds between one octyl-substituted amidocyanogen group attached at the p-position of meso-attached phenyl group of the porphyrin ligand in the mixed ring double-decker molecule and one aza-nitrogen atom of the phthalocyanine ring in the neighboring double-decker molecule in a zigzag form. Their self-assembled nano-structures have been investigated by transmission electronic microscopy (TEM) and scanning electronic microscopy (SEM). Intermolecular H-N-H hydrogen bonding interaction leads to the formation of nano-structures with fusiform morphology with 220-250 nm average width and about 10 μm length for 1 and 300 nm width and 3-5 μm length for 2, respectively, revealing the effect of molecular size in the direction perpendicular to the tetrapyrrole ring on the dimensions of self-assembled nano-structures. 相似文献

The experimental and theoretical vibrational spectra of 2 and 3-methylpiperidine (abbreviated as 2-MP and 3-MP) were studied. The FT-Infrared spectra of 2-MP and 3-MP molecules were recorded in the liquid phase. The structural and spectroscopic analysis of the title molecules were made by using density functional harmonic calculations. For the title molecules, only one form was found most stable structure by using B3LYP level with the 6-311G (d,p) basis set. The Raman spectroscopic data in the range 500-1800 cm−1 for a series of 15 rare earth double-deckers with tervalent rare earths MIII[Pc(MeOPhO)8]2 (M = Y, La, …, Lu, except Ce, Pr and Pm), reduced state HPr[Pc(MeOPhO)8]2 and intermediate-valent cerium Ce[Pc(MeOPhO)8]2 have been collected using laser excitation source emitting at 632.8 nm. With excitation at 632.8 nm, which is in close resonance with the main Q absorption band of the phthalocyanine ligand, typical Raman marker bands of the monoanion radical [Pc(MeOPhO)8]− were observed at 1500-1528 cm−1 as very strong bands resulting from the coupling of pyrrole CC and aza CN stretchings. For Ce[Pc(MeOPhO)8]2 and HPr[Pc(MeOPhO)8]2, a very strong band at 1499 cm−1 with contributions from both pyrrole CC and aza CN stretchings and also isoindole stretching was the marker Raman band of [Pc(MeOPhO)8]2−. In addition, the influence of ionic radius of the rare earth metal and substituent species on the Raman scatting characteristics of sandwich-type compounds has also been tentatively studied. 相似文献

The infrared absorption and 514.5 nm excited Raman spectra were measured for the metallo-tetra-(tert-butyl)-tetraazaporphyrin (MT(tBu)TAP, M=Cu, Co, Ni, Zn). The ground-state structures and vibrational spectra of MT(tBu)TAPs have been calculated at the B3LYP level of theory. The observed Raman and IR bands have been assigned based on the calculation results and by comparing with the normal metalloporphyrins. The relationship between the Raman/IR frequencies and the structures of TAP ring was investigated. The results show that the frequencies of CβCβ′ stretch (Ag), asymmetric CαNm stretch (Ag), and symmetric CαNm stretch (Bg) modes increase linearly with the decrease of the core-sizes of TAP ring.Among the three modes, the later two are more sensitive to the core-size change. 相似文献

The ground-state structure and electronic and vibrational spectra of octaethylporphyrin diacid (H4OEP2+) have been studied with the density functional theory. The geometrical parameters computed with B3LYP, PBE1PBE and mPW1PW91 functionals and 6-31G* basis sets are well consistent with the experimental values. Electronic absorption spectrum of H4OEP2+ has been studied with the time-dependent DFT method, and the calculated excitation energies and oscillator strengths are compared with the experimental results. The Raman and IR spectra of H4OEP2+ and the Raman spectrum of its N-deuterated analogue (D4OEP2+) were measured. The vibrational frequencies of small organic molecules and inorganic ions were predicted both in vacuum and in the liquid phase at the B3LYP/6-311G++(d,p) level of theory, within the harmonic approximation. The solvent effect was introduced as an electrostatic influence of the bulk by means of the integral equation formalism of the polarizable continuum model. The results show that the application of this continuum solvation model can reduce the overall error in the theoretical predictions. In order to improve the quality of the results, two different scaling procedures were applied. The frequencies obtained for the continuum, when compared with vacuum calculations, show a better linear correlation with experimental data, which increases the efficiency of the scaling procedures. A further reduction of the errors is obtained by partitioning the overall set of frequencies according to the nature of the normal modes and the charge of the solutes. The quality of the theoretical predictions, especially for the stretching modes of vibration of nonionic chemical species, is here noteworthy. 相似文献

Harmonic vibrational frequencies of HN3 and CH3N3 molecules and their several isotopomers are calculated using HF, MP2 and five popular density functional theory (DFT) methods. On the basis of the comparison between calculated and experimental results, assignments of fundamental vibrational modes arc examined. HF and MP2 results are in bad agreement with experimental values. Of the five DFT methods, BLYP reproduces the observed fundamental frequencies the most satisfactorily. Two hybrid DFT methods are found to yield frequencies generally higher than the observed fundamental frequencies. The results indicate that BLYP calculation is a very promising approach for understanding the observed spectral features. 相似文献

The infra-red (IR) spectroscopic data for a series of twelve sandwich-type homoleptic tetrakis[2,3,9,10,16,17,23,24-octa(octyloxy)phthalocyaninato] rare earth(III)-cadmium(II) quadruple-decker complexes [Pc(OC8H17)8]M[Pc(OC8H17)8]Cd[Pc(OC8H17)8]M[Pc(OC8H17)8] (M = Y, Pr–Yb except Pm) have been collected with resolution of 2 cm−1 and their interpretation in terms tried by analogy with the IR characteristics of bis(phthalocyaninato) cerium double-decker [Pc(OC8H17)8]Ce[Pc(OC8H17)8] in which the macrocyclic ligands exist as the phthalocyanine dianion. Similar to the bis/tris(phthalocyaninato) rare earth sandwich counterparts, all the absorptions contributed primarily by or at least containing contribution from the vibrations of pyrrole or isoindole stretching, breathing or deformation or aza stretching in the IR spectra of these quadruple-decker compounds show dependent nature on the rare earth ionic size. The shift toward higher energy direction in the frequencies of these vibrations along with the decrease of the rare earth radii reveals the effective and increasing π–π interactions in these quadruple-decker sandwich compounds in the same order. Nevertheless, the decreased sensitivity of the frequencies of the above mentioned vibration modes in particular the weak absorption band due to the isoindole stretching at 1414–1416 cm−1 for the quadruple-decker on rare earth metal size in comparison with corresponding band for bis(phthalocyaninato) rare earth counterparts indicates the relatively weaker π–π interaction in these quadruple-deckers than in the double-deckers. 相似文献

Time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) calculations of the transition energies and oscillator strengths of fluorinated alkanes have been performed. The TD-DFT method with the non-local B3LYP potential yields transition energies for the methanes, which are smaller by about 10% as compared to the experimental values. An empirical linear correlation was found between the calculated and experimental transition energies both at the B3LYP/DZ+Ryd(C, F) and B3LYP/cc-pVTZ+Ryd(C, F, H) levels for a total of 19 transitions of the fluorinated methanes with linear correlation coefficients of 0.987 for the former and 0.988 for the latter. This empirical correlation for fluorinated methane molecules is found to agree well with the previously obtained empirical correlations between calculated and experimental values for non-fluorinated molecules. The results show that a single empirical-correlation relationship can be used for both non-fluorinated and fluorinated molecules to predict transition energies. This linear relationship is then used to predict the photoabsorption spectra of ethane, propane, butane, and partially and fully fluorinated derivatives. A key result of these calculations is the dominance of Rydberg transitions in the spectral region of interest. 相似文献

Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectra of phthalimide and N-bromophthalimide have been recorded in the range of 4000-400 cm-1. With the hope of providing more and effective information on the fundamental vibrations, a normal coordinate analysis has been performed on phthalimide and N-bromophthalimide, by assuming C2v symmetry. Density functional theory (DFT)-Beck3-Lee-Yang-Parr (B3LYP) levels with 6-31G* and 6-311+G** basis sets have been employed in quantum chemical analysis. The computational frequencies are in good agreement with the observed results. The theoretical spectra obtained along with intensity data agree well with the observed spectra. 相似文献

本文研究了四(对-硝基苯基)卟啉及其Cr(Ⅲ)、Mn(Ⅲ)、Fe(Ⅲ)、Co(Ⅱ)、Ni(Ⅱ)、Cu(Ⅱ)、Zn(Ⅱ)配合物的3500~220cm~(-1)的红外光谱和1700~100cm~(-1)的拉曼光谱.谱带归属表明,~250cm~(-1)谱带是M—N伸缩振动和卟啉环变形振动的复合振动.金属敏感带出现在~1600、~1582、~1547、~1284、~1190、~355和~245cm~(-1)处,其中二价金属配合物金属敏感带频率按Ni>Co>Cu>Zn顺序递减.用金属半径和d_x~2 y~2电子排斥作用解释了金属敏感带变化规律. 相似文献
