Assume that each completely irrational noncommutative torus is realized as an inductive limit of circle algebras, and that for a completely irrational noncommutative torus Aw of rank m there are a completely irrational noncommutative torus Aρ of rank m and a positive integer d such that tr(Aw)=1/d.tr(Aρ).It is proved that the set of all C^*-algebras of sections of locally trivial C^*-algebra bundles over S^2 with fibres Aω has a group sturcture,denoted by π1^s(Aut(Aω)),which is isomorphic to Zif Ed>1 and {0} if d>1.Let Bcd be a cd-homogeneous C^*-algebra over S^2×T^2 of which no non-trivial matrix algebra can be factored out.The spherical noncommutative torus Sρ^cd is defined by twisting C^*(T2×Z^m-2) in Bcd ×C^*(Z^m-3) by a totally skew multiplier ρ on T^2×Z^m-2。It is shown that Sρ^cd×Mρ∞ is isomorphic to C(S^2)×C^*(T^2×Z^m-2,ρ)× Mcd(C)×Mρ∞ if and only if the set of prime factors of cd is a subset of the set of prime factors of p.  相似文献

All C*-algebras of sections of locally trivial C* -algebra bundles over ∏i=1sLki(ni) with fibres Aw Mc(C) are constructed, under the assumption that every completely irrational noncommutative torus Aw is realized as an inductive limit of circle algebras, where Lki (ni) are lens spaces. Let Lcd be a cd-homogeneous C*-algebra over whose cd-homogeneous C*-subalgebra restricted to the subspace Tr × T2 is realized as C(Tr) A1/d Mc(C), and of which no non-trivial matrix algebra can be factored out.The lenticular noncommutative torus Lpcd is defined by twisting in by a totally skew multiplier p on Tr+2 × Zm-2. It is shown that is isomorphic to if and only if the set of prime factors of cd is a subset of the set of prime factors of p, and that Lpcd is not stablyisomorphic to if the cd-homogeneous C*-subalgebra of Lpcd restricted to some subspace LkiLki (ni) is realized as the crossed product by the obvious non-trivial action of Zki on a cd/ki-homogeneous C*-algebra over S2ni+1 for ki an integer greater than  相似文献

The generalized noncommutative torus Tkp of rank n was defined in [4] by the crossed product Am/k ×a3 Z ×a4 … ×an Z, where the actions ai of Z on the fibre Mk(C) of a rational rotation algebra Am/k are trivial, and C*(kZ × kZ) ×a3 Z ×a4 ... ×an Z is a completely irrational noncommutative torus Ap of rank n. It is shown in this paper that Tkp is strongly Morita equivalent to Ap, and that Tkp (?) Mp∞ is isomorphic to Ap (?) Mk(C) (?) We introduce a non-cocommutative comultiplication Δ? on 𝒜(*), and give an example of comodule-C*-algebra of the C*-bialgebra (𝒜(*), Δ?). The infinite-dimensional analogues of the classical general linear group appear as groups of invertible elements of Banach algebras. Mappings of these groups onto themselves that extend to affine mappings of the ambient Banach algebra are shown to be linear exactly when the Banach algebra is semi-simple. The form of such linear mappings is studied when the Banach algebra is a C*-algebra.

Noncommutative moment problems for C*-algebras are studied. We generalize a result of Hadwin on tracial states to nontracial case. Our results are applied to obtain simple solutions to moment problems on the square and the circle as well as extend the positive unital functionals from a (discrete) complex group algebra to states on the group C*-algebra.  相似文献

Let A and B be unital C*-algebras, and let J ∈ A, L ∈ B be Hermitian invertible elements. For every T ∈ A and S ∈ B,define TJ(?)=J-1T*J and SL(?) =L-1S*L. Then in such a way we endow the C*-algebras A and B with indefinite structures. We characterize firstly the Jordan (J, L)-(?)-homomorphisms on C*-algebras. As applications, we further classify the bounded linear maps ?:A→B preserving (J, L)-unitary elements. When A = B(H) and B = B(K), where H and K are infinite dimensional and complete indefinite inner product spaces on real or complex fields, we prove that indefinite-unitary preserving bounded linear surjections are of the form T →UVTV-1((?)T ∈ B(H)) or T→UVT(?)V-1 ((?)T ∈ B(H)), where U ∈ B(K) is indefinite unitary and, V : H→K is generalized indefinite unitary in the first form and generalized indefinite anti-unitary in the second one. The authors define the equi-nuclearity of uniform Roe algebras of a family of metric spaces. For a discrete metric space X with bounded geometry which is covered by a family of subspaces {Xi}∞i=1, if {Cu*(Xi)}∞i=1 are equi-nuclear and under some proper gluing conditions, it is proved that Cu*(X) is nuclear. Just as Kaplansky [4] has introduced the notion of an AW*-module as a generalization of a complex Hilbert space, we introduce the notion of an AL*-algebra, which is a generalization of that of an L*-algebra invented by Schue [9, 10]. By using Boolean valued methods developed by Ozawa [6–8], Takeuti [11–13] and others, we establish its basic properties including a fundamental structure theorem.
