The mechanism of synthesis of maleic and succinic anhydrides from acetylene and CO in the PdBr2−LiBr-organic solvent catalytic system was studied using the procedure of advancement and discrimination of hypotheses. The hypotheses were obtained using the data bank on elementary steps and the Combl combinatorial program. The discrimination of the hypotheses was based on the data of NMR and IR spectroscopy, studies of isotope exchange, the role of potential organic intermediates, the kinetic isotope effect, and one-factor kinetic experiments. The most probable mechanism of synthesis of maleic anhydride includes insertion of acetylene and CO into the Pd−Pd bond of the PdI complex, which is formed from PdII at the initial step of the process. Succinic anhydride results from the intramolecular transformation of the hydride complex of palladium and maleic anhydride. The palladium hydride complexes detected in the contact solution apparently play the crucial role in the conjugation of oxidation, reduction, and addition type reactions. A new alcohol soluble functionalized vic-dioxime, bis-[(1-hydroxyhexyl)-(8,9-hydroxyimino)-7,10-dithiahexacosane (LH2), and its alcohol-soluble mono and dinuclear complexes (NiII, CuII, CoII, MnII, PdII and UO 2 II ) have been prepared from 6-mercapto-1-hexanol and (E,E)-dichloroglyoxime under high dilution basic conditions. Reactive polyalcohol moieties appended at the periphery of the oxime containing two different heteroatoms (S-, O-), serve as a weak exocyclic binding sites for PdII and AgI metal ions and also provide solubility for the vic-dioxime complexes in low molecular-weight alcohols. Both mono-nuclear (LH)2M and homodinuclear (LH)2(UO2)2(OH)2 and heterotrinuclear (LH)2MM 2 Xn, where M = CoII M′ = PdII, X = Cl, n = 4 and AgI X = NO 3 , n = 2) complexes have been obtained with a 1:2, 2:2, 3:2 metal/ligand ratio, respectively. Electronic spectra of the modified vic-dioximes exhibit monitorable changes in UV. All mono and dinuclear-complexes are soluble in common organic solvents. The elemental analysis, 1H-n.m.r, i.r., u.v–vis, and f.a.b.–m.s data and by cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry measurements are presented.  相似文献

Structural reorganization of polyamide (PA) and low-molecular-weight CuI and CuII complexes with biquinolyl (biQ) ligands during their mutual redox transformations in solution was studied using the electrochemical methods (cyclic voltammetry and preparative electrolysis) and quantum chemical DFT calculations. The influence of electronic factors and geometry distortions in the complexes on the ionization energy on going from CuI to CuII was evaluated in comparison. The catalytically active form of the [CuI(PA)L2]BF4 complex can be synthesized in situ from the stable tetrahedral complex [CuI(PA)2]BF4 by the series of successive redox transitions CuI → CuII → CuI accompanied by the loss of one biQ-containing macroligand. Summary Complexes of CoII, NiII, CuII, ZnII, PdII, CdII, HgII and CuI with ethyl--(N-phenylthiocarbamyl)cyanoacetate (HETCA) have been synthesized and characterized. The i.r. spectra show that HETCA behaves as a mononegative bidentate ligand, in the thiol tautomeric form. HETCA reduces CuCl2 to give a diamagnetic CuI complex. A tetrahedral structure is proposed for the CoII complex, while a square-planar structure is proposed for the NiII, CuII, and PdII complexes.  相似文献

The structures and results of the static magnetic susceptibility investigation of the copper(II) binuclear complex with salicylic acid diacyl hydrazide (H2L), [Cu2(L)(Py)4] (I), and the copper(II) trinuclear complex with diacyl dihydrazide of salicylic and glutaric acids (H6L′), [Cu3(L′)(Py)4] · 2Py (II), are described. The exchange antiferromagnetic interactions between the paramagnetic centers with the exchange interaction parameter −2J = 119 cm−1 for dimer I and 14 cm−1 for trinuclear complex II are detected.  相似文献

The characteristic features of intramolecular spin exchange in 14 complexes of AgI, HgII, NiII, PdII, PtII, AuIII, and PtIV with spin-labeled ligands were studied by ESR spectroscopy. The measured values of the exchange integral ‖J‖ and the differences between the enthalpies of the efficient conformations (ΔH) were compared with the electronic polarization (refraction)R f of the NiII, PdII, and PtII ions and Klopman's rigidity parameters σK, which characterize the total polarazibility of the ions and the degree of covalence of the bond between the metal atom and the donor atom of the ligand, respectively. Delocalization of the electron spin density and the efficiency of spin exchange are determined by the relative contributions of the s, p, and d orbitals, which produce the overlap integral of wave functions, ‖J‖, and by the geometric features of the coordination polyhedron, which affect the mutual orientation of the N−O fragments. pH potentiometric and spectrophotometric investigations on the complex formation equilibria of CuII with iminodiacetate (ida2−) and heterocyclic N-bases, viz. imidazole and benzimidazole (B), in aqueous solution in binary and ternary systems using different molar ratios of the reactants indicated the formation of complexes of the types, Cu(ida), Cu(ida)(OH), (ida)Cu(OH)Cu(ida), Cu(B)2+, Cu(H-1B)+, Cu(ida)(H−1B), (ida)Cu(B)Cu(ida) and (ida)Cu(H−1B)Cu(ida). Formation constants of the complexes at 25 ±1° at a fixed ionic strength,I = 0.1 mol dm−3 (NaNO3) in aqueous solution were evaluated and the complex formation equilibria were elucidated with the aid of speciation curves. Departure of the experimental values of the reproportionation constants(ΔlogK cu) of ternary Cu(ida)(H−1B) complexes from the statistically expected values, despite their formation in appreciable amounts at equilibrium, were assigned tofac(f)-mer(m) equilibria of the ida2− ligand coordinated to CuII, as the N-heterocyclic donors, (H−1B), coordinatetrans- to the N-(ida2−) atom in the binary Cu(ida) f complex to form the ternary Cu(ida) m (H−1B) complexes  相似文献

The complex formation equilibria involving trans-diamminepalladium(II) chloride (PdII), 1,6-hexanediamine (HDA), and DNA constituents were investigated. The formation constant of all possible mononuclear and binuclear complexes were determined at 25 °C and 0.1 mol⋅L−1 NaNO3. The speciation diagrams of the binuclear complex of PdII–HDA–DNA reveal that these complexes predominate in the physiological pH range and the reaction of the binuclear complex PdII–HDA–PdII with DNA constituents is quite feasible.  相似文献

Two new linear CuII complexes [Cu(L1)2] (I) (HL1 = (E)-3,5-dichloro-2-hydroxy benzaldehyde O-methyl oxime) and [Cu(L2)2] (II) (HL2 = (E)-3,5-dichloro-2-hydroxy benzaldehyde O-ethyl oxime) are synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis, and X-ray diffraction methods. X-ray crystallographic analyses indicate that complexes I and II have a similar structure consisting of one CuII ion and two L units. In the complexes, the CuII ion lying on an inversion centre is four-coordinated in a trans-CuN2O2 square planar geometry by two phenolate O and two oxime N atoms from two symmetry-related N,O-bidentate oxime-type ligands. However, the crystal structure of the two complexes is different: complex I forms an infinite three-dimensional supramolecular network structure through intermolecular hydrogen bonding and π...π interaction, while complex II forms an infinite one-dimensional supramolecular structure through intermolecular hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

Several new complexes of a tridentate ONS Schiff base derived from the condensation of S-benzyldithiocarbazate with salicylaldehyde have been characterised by elemental analyses, molar conductivity measurements and by i.r. and electronic spectra. The Schiff base (HONSH) behaves as a dinegatively charged ligand coordinating through the thiolo sulphur, the azomethine nitrogen and the hydroxyl oxygen. It forms mono-ligand complexes: [M(ONS)X], [M=NiII, CuII, CrIII, SbIII, ZnII, ZrIV or UVI with X = H2O, Cl]. The ligand produced a bis-chelated complex of composition [Th(ONS)2] with ThIV. Square-planar structures are proposed for the NiII and CuII complexes. Antimicrobial tests indicate that the Schiff base and five of the metal complexes of CuII, NiII, UVI, ZnII and SbIII are strongly active against bacteria. NiII and SbIII complexes were the most effective against Pseudomonas aeruginosa (gram negative), while the CuII complex proved to be best against Bacillus cereus (gram positive bacteria). Antifungal activities were also noted with the Schiff base and the UVI complex. These compounds showed positive results against Candida albicans fungi, however, none of them were effective against Aspergillus ochraceous fungi. The Schiff base and its zinc and antimony complexes are strongly active against leukemic cells (CD50 = 2.3–4.3 μg cm−3) while the copper, uranium and thorium complexes are moderately active (CD50 = 6.9–9.5 μg cm−3). The nickel, zirconium and chromium complexes were found to be inactive. This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

Coordination compounds Cu2(H2L1)Cl4 (I), Pd2(H2L1)Cl4 (II), Cu2(H2L2)Cl4 (III), and Pd2(H2L2) Cl4 (IV) with chiral bis-α-sulfanyloximes, the derivatives of the monoterpenoid (−)-α-pinene, were obtained. The complexes I and III are paramagnetic (μeff = 2.45 and 2.67 μB, respectively), II and IV are diamagnetic. According to IR spectroscopy, in the compounds I–IV the nearest environment of Cu and Pd atoms includes N, S, and Cl atoms. The values of μeff and parameters of ESR spectra of the solid phase and solutions of I and III show a binuclear structure of the Cu(II) complexes. Parameters of the 1H and 13C NMR spectra of compounds II and IV indicate the formation of binuclear Pd(II) complexes of C 2 symmetry and the closure of fivemembered chelate rings PdNSC2. The PdCl2 fragments are in transoid position. H2L1 and H2L2 are tetradentate bridging chelating ligands.  相似文献

Reactions of carbonate radical (Co3 ) generated by photolysis or by radiolysis of a carbonate solution, with Cu(II) complexes of aminopolycarboxylic acids viz., Cu(II)ethylenediamine tetraacetate [CuIIEDTA]2− and Cu(II)-iminodiacetate [CuIIIDA] were studied at pH 10. 5 and ionic strength 0.2 mol·dm−3. Time-resolved spectroscopy and kinetics for the transients were studied using flash photolysis and stable products arising from the ligand degradation of the complex were ascertained by steady-state radiolysis experiments. From the kinetic data it is observed that CO3 , radical reacts initially with CuII-complex to form a transient intermediate having maximum absorption at 335 nm and 430 nm. From the subsequent reactions of this intermediate it was assigned to be CuIII. species. This Cu(III) species undergoes intermolecular electron transfer with the CuII-complex to give a radical intermediate which again slowly reacts with CuII-complex to give a long lived species containing Cu−C bond. This long lived species, however, slowly decomposed to give glyoxalic reaction between CuIII-complex and a suitable donor, the one electron reduction potential for [CuIIIEDTA]1−/[CuIIEDTA]2− and [CuIIIIDA]+1/CuIIIDA was determined.  相似文献

Three novel complex salts containing the cation trans-[Rh(β-Pic)4Cl2]+ with the anions Cl (I), ReO4 (II), and ClO4 (III) were obtained and characterized by elemental analysis, X-ray diffraction, NMR spectroscopy, and IR spectroscopy. The complex trans-[Rh(β-Pic)4Cl2]ReO4 crystallizes from DMF as a solvate in which solvent molecules fill the channels formed by the cations and anions. The thermal properties of complexes I, II, and II · DMF were examined by DTA. Final and some intermediate products of the thermolysis were isolated and characterized by physicochemical methods.  相似文献

The formation of CuII–Br–FeIII-type heterobimetallic complexes was observed spectrophotometrically, given the non-additivity of the spectra from the copper(II) and iron(III) complexes. The kinetics of the oxidation of promazine radical (ptz+•) to promazine 5-oxide, by iron(III) bromides, copper(II) bromides, and a mixture of these complexes in acidic aqueous solutions, have been studied using UV–Vis spectroscopy at I = 1.0 M (H+, Cu2+, Fe3+, Br) and T = 318 K. Copper(II) inhibits the oxidation of the promazine radical to promazine sulfoxide using iron(III) complexes. A rate retardation effect, characterized by the dependence of the pseudo second-order rate constant (k II) on the copper(II) concentration k II = a/(1 + b[CuII]), can be rationalized as a result of CuII–Br–FeIII-type heterobimetallic complex formation.  相似文献

Electrocatalytic oxidative coupling of terminal alkynes in the presence of atmospheric oxygen catalyzed by CuI complexes with polymeric biquinolyl ligands leads to the corresponding diynes in high yield. The reaction proceeds under mild conditions at a potential of CuII/CuI electroreduction (−0.55 V vs. Ag/AgCl/KCl) and is accompanied by O2 reduction to H2O.  相似文献

A method for electrosynthesis of heteropolynuclear biquinoline-containing CuI and PdII complexes using sacrificial Cu and Pd anodes was developed. The sequence of anode dissolution (first Pd and then Cu) was important for the synthesis of the complex. The opposite sequence of dissolution resulted in oxidation of the initially formed CuI ions to CuII. The obtained CuI and PdII complexes with polymer ligands had high catalytic activity in the reaction of aryl halides with phenylacetylene giving rise to a C(sp2)-C(sp) bond. The yield of arylphenylacetylene in the presence of 0.1 mol.% of Pd catalyst in relation to the starting halide was 50–90% depending on the nature of the aryl halide.  相似文献

Synthesis, Structure and EPR Investigations of binuclear Bis(N,N,N?,N?‐tetraisobutyl‐N′,N″‐isophthaloylbis(thioureato)) Complexes of CuII, NiII, ZnII, CdII and PdII The synthesis of binuclear CuII‐, NiII‐, ZnII‐, CdII‐ and PdII‐complexes of the quadridentate ligand N,N,N?,N?‐tetraisobutyl‐N′,N″‐isophthaloylbis(thiourea) and the crystal structures of the CuII‐ and NiII‐complexes are reported. The CuII‐complex crystallizes in two polymorphic modifications: triclinic, (Z = 1) and monoclinic, P21/c (Z = 2). The NiII‐complex was found to be isostructural with the triclinic modification of the copper complex. The also prepared PdII‐, ZnII‐ and CdII‐complexes could not be characterized by X‐ray analysis. However, EPR studies of diamagnetically diluted CuII/PdII‐ and CuII/ZnII‐powders show axially‐symmetric g and A Cu tensors suggesting a nearly planar co‐ordination within the binuclear host complexes. Diamagnetically diluted CuII/CdII powder samples could not be prepared. In the EPR spectra of the pure binuclear CuII‐complex exchange‐coupled CuII‐CuII pairs were observed. According to the large CuII‐CuII distance of about 7,50Å a small fine structure parameter D = 26·10?4 cm?1 is observed; T‐dependent EPR measurements down to 5 K reveal small antiferromagnetic interactions for the CuII‐CuII dimer. Besides of the dimer in the EPR spectra the signals of a mononuclear CuII species are observed whose concentration is T‐dependent. This observation can be explained assuming an equilibrium between the binuclear CuII‐complex (CuII‐CuII pairs) and oligomeric complexes with “isolated” CuII ions.  相似文献

Dinuclear copper(II) complexes with acyldihydrazones of 2-hydroxy-5-nitroacetophenone (H4L) of the composition Cu2(Py)xmEtOH were synthesized and characterized. In these complexes, the coordination polyhedra of the copper atoms are linked to each other by a polymethylene chain of different lengths, from one to five monomer units. The structure of the [Cu2L·4Mrf] complex (Mrf is morpholine) based on acyldihydrazone of malonic acid was established by X-ray diffraction. The copper(II) atoms in this complex are [4+1]-coordinated and are spaced by 6.94 Å. At room temperature, the signal in the ESR spectra of solutions of the complexes based on acyldihydrazones of malonic, succinic, glutaric, and adipic acids has a seven-line hyperfine structure with the constant of (35.3–38.8)·10−4 cm−1 (g = 2.109–2.112) due to exchange interactions between unpaired electrons and two equivalent copper nuclei. An increase in the length of the polymethylene chain to five monomer units hinders exchange interactions, and the ESR signal of the complex based on acyldihydrazone of pimelic acid has a four-line hyperfine structure with a Cu = 72.7·10−4 cm−1 typical of mononuclear copper(II) complexes. A bimetallic system of Pd/CuF2, catalytic in Pd and stoichiometric in Cu, is very efficient and selective for the coupling of fairly hindered aryl silanes with aryl, anisyl, phenylaldehyde, p‐cyanophenyl, p‐nitrophenyl, or pyridyl iodides of conventional size. The reaction involves the activation of the silane by CuII, followed by disproportionation and transmetalation from the CuI(aryl) to PdII, upon which coupling takes place. CuIII formed during disproportionation is reduced to CuI(aryl) by excess aryl silane, so that the CuF2 system is fully converted into CuI(aryl) and used in the coupling. Moreover, no extra source of fluoride is needed. Interesting size selectivity towards coupling is found in competitive reactions of hindered aryl silanes. Easily accessible [PdCl2(IDM)(AsPh3)] (IDM = 1,3‐dimethylimidazol‐2‐ylidene) is by far the best catalyst, and the isolated products are essentially free from As or Pd (<1 ppm). The mechanistic aspects of the process have been experimentally examined and discussed.  相似文献

In catalytic two-step n-butene oxidation with dioxygen to methyl ethyl ketone, the first step is the oxidation of n-C4H8 with an aqueous solution of Mo-V-P heteropoly acid in the presence of Pd(II) complexes. The kinetics of n-butene oxidation with solutions of H7PV4Mo8O40 (HPA-4) in the presence of the Pd(II) dipicolinate complex (H2O)PdII(dipic) (I), where dipic2− is the tridentate ligand 2,6-NC5H3(COO)2, is studied. Calculation shows that, at the ratio dipic2−: Pd(II) = 1: 1, the ligand decreases the redox potential of the Pd(II)/Pdmet system from 0.92 to 0.73–0.77, due to which Pd(II) is stabilized in reduced solutions of HPA-4. The reaction is first-order with respect to n-C4H8. Its order with respect to Pd(II) is slightly below unity, and its order with respect to HPA-4 is relatively low (∼0.63). The activation energy of but-1-ene oxidation in the temperature range from 40 to 80°C is 49.0 kJ/mol, and that of the oxidation of but-2-ene is 55.6 kJ/mol. The mechanism of the reaction involving the cis-diaqua complex [(H2O)2PdII(Hdipic)]+, which forms reversibly from complex I, is proposed. The reaction rate is shown to increase with an increase in the HPA-4 concentration due to an increase in the acidity of the solution.  相似文献
