The concept of fuzzy Galois connections is defined on fuzzy posets with Bělohlávek's fuzzy Galois connections as a special case. The properties of fuzzy Galois connections are investigated. Then the relations between fuzzy Galois connections and fuzzy closure operators, fuzzy interior operators are studied. (© 2009 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)  相似文献

Given two closure spaces (E,) and (E,), a relation RE×E is said biclosed if every row of its matrix representation corresponds to a closed subset of E, and every column to a closed subset of E. An isomorphism between, on the one hand, the set of all biclosed relations and, on the other hand, the set of all Galois connections between the two lattices of closed sets is established. Several computational applications are derived from this result.  相似文献

The composition of two previously introduced Galois connections is used to provide a wider perspective on the Clementino–Tholen connectedness versus separation Galois connection. Moreover, a link between this and Castellini's connectedness–disconnectednes Galois connection is also presented.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the Galois connections between two partially ordered objects in an arbitrary elementary topos. Some characterizations of Galois adjunctions which is similar to the classical case are obtained by means of the diagram proof. This shows that the diagram method can be used to reconstruct the classical order theory in an arbitrary elementary topos.  相似文献

The concept of Galois connection between power sets is generalized from the point of view of fuzzy logic. Studied is the case where the structure of truth values forms a complete residuated lattice. It is proved that fuzzy Galois connections are in one-to-one correspondence with binary fuzzy relations. A representation of fuzzy Galois connections by (classical) Galois connections is provided.  相似文献

A notion of connectedness with respect to a closure operator C and a class of monomorphisms N is introduced in an arbitrary category X. It is shown that under appropriate hypotheses, most classical results about topological connectedness can be generalized to this setting. Examples that illustrate this new concept are provided.  相似文献

In this paper, the classical Galois theory to the H*-Galois case is developed. Let H be a semisimple and cosemisimple Hopf algebra over a field k, A a left H-module algebra, and A/AHa right H*-Galois extension. The authors prove that, if AHis a separable kalgebra, then for any right coideal subalgebra B of H, the B-invariants A~B= {a ∈ A |b · a = ε(b)a, b∈ B} is a separable k-algebra. They also establish a Galois connection between right coideal subalgebras of H and separable subalgebras of A containing AHas in the classical case. The results are applied to the case H =(kG)*for a finite group G to get a Galois 1-1 correspondence.  相似文献

Fuzzy-directed graphs are often chosen as the data structure to model and implement solutions to several problems in the applied sciences. Galois connections have also shown to be useful both in theoretical and in practical problems. In this paper, the notion of relational Galois connection is extended to be applied between transitive fuzzy directed graphs. In this framework, the components of the connection are crisp relations satisfying certain reasonable properties given in terms of the so-called full powering.  相似文献

In this article we study Drinfeld modular curves X0(pn) associated to congruence subgroups Γ0(pn) of GL(2,Fq[T]) where p is a prime of Fq[T]. For n>r>0 we compute the extension degrees and investigate the structure of the Galois closures of the covers X0(pn)→X0(pr) and some of their variations. The results have some immediate implications for the Galois closures of two well-known optimal wild towers of function fields over finite fields introduced by Garcia and Stichtenoth, for which the modular interpretation was given by Elkies.  相似文献

Galois averages
In this paper, we introduce a notion of “Galois average” which allows us to give a suitable answer to the question: how can one extend a finite Galois extension E/F by a prime degree extension N/E to get a Galois extension N/F? Here, N/E is not necessarily a Kummer extension.  相似文献

We give a characterization of the fixed points and of the lattices of fixed points of fuzzy Galois connections. It is shown that fixed points are naturally interpreted as concepts in the sense of traditional logic.  相似文献

This paper presents a systematic investigation of fuzzy (non‐commutative) Galois connections in the sense of R. Bělohlávek [1], from the point of view of enriched category theory. The results obtained show that the theory of enriched categories makes it possible to present the theory of fuzzy Galois connections in a succinct way; and more importantly, it provides a useful method to express and to study the link and the difference between the commutative and the non‐commutative worlds (© 2010 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. A crossed product representing an associative finite dimensional central simple algebra over a field is called regular if all values of the corresponding cocycle are roots of unity. Under a certain assumption such a crossed product is shown to allow the construction of Galois representations. The case of number fields is investigated more closely and several examples are discussed.  相似文献

A criterion for the existence of a birational embedding with two Galois points for quotient curves is presented. We apply our criterion to several curves, for example, some cyclic subcovers of the Giulietti–Korchmáros curve or of the curves constructed by Skabelund. New examples of plane curves with two Galois points are described, as plane models of such quotient curves.  相似文献

Let B be a ring with 1, C the center of B, G a finite automorphism group of B, and Ii = {c - gi(c) | c C} for each gi G. Then, B is called a center Galois extension with Galois group G if BIi = B for each gi 1 in G, and a weak center Galois extension with group G if BIi = Bei for some nonzero idempotent ei in C for each gi 1 in G. When ei is a minimal element in the Boolean algebra generated by {ei | gi G} Bei is a center Galois extension with Galois group Hi for some subgroup Hi of G. Moreover, the central Galois algebra B(1 – ei) is characterized when B is a Galois algebra with Galois group G.AMS Subject Classification (1991): 16S35 16W20Supported by a Caterpillar Fellowship, Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois, USA.
