The suitability of the determination of the asymmetry factor of chromatographic peaks by the ratio of areas of two components separated by a perpendicular dropped from the maximum of the peak to the base-line, A s * = S b /S a , where symbol a corresponds to the leading edge of the peak and b is for its tailing slope, is discussed. It is demonstrated that this method enables the estimation of the asymmetry of even partially separated chromatographic signals, including those eluted “in the tail” of intense peaks of solvents. The concepts of the asymmetry index I(A s *) and its increment ΔI(A s *) = (A s *)–I(A s *) are introduced, which ensures the characterization of the asymmetry of peaks of polar analytes with respect to the asymmetry of nonpolar reference components, that is, the separation of the effects of the polarity of analytes and their quantities injected into the chromatographic column on this parameter. For the first time we revealed a correlation of the asymmetry factors of compounds of different chemical nature with such a characteristic of their polarity as the difference in chromatographic separation temperature and the normal boiling point of analytes.  相似文献

A complex [Zn(C8H7O3)2(H2O)2] (C8H8O3 is vanillin) has been synthesized and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, and X-ray diffraction single-crystal analysis. The crystals are monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 22.236(8) Å, b = 10.594(2) Å, c = 7.8190(16) Å, α = 89.90(3)°, β = 106.87(4)°, γ = 89.99(3)°, V = 1762.6(8) Å3, Z = 4, F(000) = 832, S = 1.079, ρ c = 1.521g cm?3, R = 0.0221, R w = 0.0604, μ = 1.433 mm?1. The Zn2+ ion is six-coordinated with a distorted octahedron geometry. The complex forms a three-dimensional network through intermolecular hydrogen bonds. The thermal decomposition kinetics of the complex for the second stage was studied under non-isothermal conditions by the TG and DTG methods. The kinetic equation can be expressed as dα/dt = Ae?E/RT 2(1 ? α)[1 ? ln(1 ? α)]1/2. The kinetic parameters (E, A), activation entropy ΔS , and activation free-energy ΔG were also gained.  相似文献

Tellurite of the composition Li2CeTeO5 is synthesized by solid-phase method from cerium(IV) and tellurium(IV) oxides and lithium carbonate. The type of syngony, the unit cell parameters, and the compound’s X-ray and pycnometry densities are determined via X-ray diffraction analysis. The isobaric heat capacity of lithium–cerium tellurite is studied by means of dynamic calorimetry in the temperature range of 298.15–673 K; the results serve as the basis for deriving C p ° ~ f(T) dependency equations and determining the compound’s thermodynamic functions. λ-shaped anomalous effects, due probably to Type II phase transitions, are found on the C p ° ~ f(T) dependence.  相似文献

We have studied the transition from an Arrhenius-like to a non-Arrhenius-like structural relaxation behavior in fragile glass-forming liquids. This transition is denoted by the temperature TA that usually occurs above the melting point Tm and the dynamic crossover temperature TB. Recent studies reveal that TA is a characteristic temperature related with the dynamical properties of the system. However, its unambiguous determination is not easy. In this work, a method to obtain the temperature TA from the experimental data of α-relaxation time is presented. The obtained TA is compared with the cooperativity onset temperature Tx extracted from the bond strength–coordination number fluctuation model. The result reveals that TA is close to Tx for fragile liquids. From the result of the present analyses combined with the linear relation Tx \(\propto\) T0, where T0 is the Vogel temperature, the Arrhenius crossover phenomenon in fragile liquids is linked to the low-temperature structural relaxation dynamics.  相似文献

The hydrolysis kinetics of the anion in 3d-element cyclotetraphosphates is considered. The thermodynamic functions of formation (Δ f H 0, Δ f G 0, and Δ f ? at 0 ) of the cyclotetraphosphates are calculated using the ion increment method. The antibacterial activity and cytotoxicity of the silver-containing drug, which is zerovalent metallic silver nanoparticles stabilized by sulfated arabinogalactan, towards human lymphocytes were evaluated. The bacteriostatic concentration towards E. coli ATCC 25922, E. coli ESBL1224, S. aureus MRSA34R, S. aureus ATCC 29213, and P. aeruginosa ATCC 27853 and hospital strains E. coli, P. aeruginosa, and P. mirabilis ranges from 3 to 50 μg mL?1. Their bactericidal activity varies from 5 to 100 μg mL?1, and the concentration of the nanocomposite toxic to isolated human peripheral blood lymphocytes is 5 μg mL?1.  相似文献

The reversibility of a two-electron pyrocatechol/o-benzoquinone system (ΔE p = 28 ± 1 mV) is found by cyclic voltammetry at a mechanically renewed electrode from a graphite-epoxy composite. The closeness of the found and theoretical values of ΔE p indicates the high electrochemical activity of the graphite-epoxy composite electrode renewed in situ by cutting a thin surface layer. The potentials of pyrocatechol anodic and cathodic peaks are proportional to E 0 ± 0.059pH in the pH range of 1–9. The pyrocatechol anodic and cathodic peak currents remain linear functions of pyrocatechol concentration in the concentration range from 0.01 to 0.08 and from 0.08 to 0.9 g/L, respectively. A procedure for the voltammetric determination of pyrocatechol in its individual solutions and in the presence of hydroquinone is proposed. Good precision and the absence of a systematic error in the determination of pyrocatechol by measuring its cathodic peak are demonstrated.  相似文献

Hydrogels based on N,N-dimethylacrylamide (DMAAm), allylthiourea (ATU), and maleic acid (MA) were synthesized by free-radical cross-linking copolymerization in water with N,N-methylene-bis(acrylamide) (BAAm) as the cross-linker, ammonium persulfate (APS) as the initiator, and N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylenediamine (TEMED) as the activator. Since Se(IV) is the most serious interfering element in the electroanalytical (polarographic or voltammetric) determination of lead and cadmium, a new method for their correct determination after selective separation of the interfering ion (selenite) was developed by using poly(N,N-dimethylacrylamide-co-allylthiourea) [P(DMAAm-co-ATU)] hydrogels containing reducing pedant groups like allylthiourea. The proposed method showed good reproducibility and accuracy with relative standard deviations of 8.5 and 3.4% and relative errors of ?6.0 and ?5.4% for the determination of 5.0 × 10?5 M Pb(II) and Cd(II), respectively, next to 3.0 × 10?5 M Se(IV).  相似文献

It has been shown that, in order to accomplish frontal photopolymerization in the mode of a self-sustained travelling wave, it is necessary to use compositions that are optically transparent behind the front and experience the onset of gelling at a minimal degree of polymerization, e.g., systems based on oligoether (meth)acrylates. With the use of a composition containing oligocarbonate methacrylate and the o-benzoquinone-amine photoinitiator system, frontal photopolymerization in a layer of more than 100 mm in thickness was experimentally revealed. It was shown that the photoinitiator and monomer conversion fronts synchronously propagate into the layer. It was found that the coordinate of the leading edge of the monomer conversion front h is related to the irradiated time τ by the equations h = A 1 log τ ? B and h = A 2 τ ? B at the first and the second step of frontal polymerization, respectively. It was found that the thickness of the area of the formulation layer in which the condition h = A 1 logτ ? B is fulfilled is equal to the width of the photoinitiator and monomer conversion front. A general equation of motion of the coordinate of the photoinitiator conversion label in the layer of a liquid photopolymerizable composition during sustained frontal photopolymerization was proposed for describing experimental data.  相似文献

The influence of temperature on the rate of dehydrochlorination of 3-chloro-3-methylbut-1-ene in 17 aprotic and 13 protic solvents, ν = k[C5H9Cl], was studied by the verdazyl method. In aprotic solvents, the electrophilicity, ionizing power, and cohesion of solvents decrease ΔG by increasing ΔS . The nucleophilicity and polarizability increase both ΔH and ΔS to equal extent and therefore do not affect ΔG . In protic solvents, the solvent nucleophilicity increases ΔH to a greater extent than ΔS , and the overall effect of the nucleophilic solvation is small and negative.  相似文献

Recurrent equations A(x + k) = aA(x) + b were shown to be applicable to the approximation not only of virtually arbitrary properties of organic compounds (A) in homologous series (A = n C, k = 1 or 2) but also of the dependences of chromatographic retention parameters on the number of carbon atoms in homologue molecules (A = t R). The same equations described the temperature dependences of retention times of arbitrary compounds under isothermal separation conditions in gas chromatography (x = T, k = ΔT = const) and the dependences of retention times on the concentration of an organic solvent as an eluent component (x = C, k = ΔC = const) under isocratic separation conditions in high performance liquid chromatography.  相似文献

A method has been purposed to calculate some of the thermodynamic quantities for the thermal deformation of a smectite without using any basic thermodynamic data. The Hanç?l? (Keskin, Ankara, Turkey) bentonite containing a smectite of 88% by volume was taken as material. Thermogravimetric (TG) and differential thermal analysis (DTA) curves of the sample were obtained. Bentonite samples were heated at various temperatures between 25–900°C for the sufficient time (2 h) until to establish the thermal deformation equilibrium.Cation-exchange capacity (CEC) of heated samples was determined by using the methylene blue standard method. The CEC was used as a variable of the equilibrium. An arbitrary equilibrium constant (K a) was defined similar to chemical equilibrium constant and calculated for each temperature by using the corresponding CEC-value. The arbitrary changes in Gibbs energy (ΔG a 0 ) were calculated from K a-values. The real change in enthalpy (ΔH 0) and entropy (ΔS 0) was calculated from the slopes of the lnK vs. 1/T and ΔG vs. T plots, respectively. The real changes in Gibbs energy (ΔG 0) and real equilibrium constant (K) were calculated by using the ΔH 0 and ΔS 0 values. The results at the two different temperature intervals are summarized as below: ΔG 1 0 H 1 0 S 1 0 T=?RTlnK 1=47000?53t, (200–450°C), and ΔG 2 0 H 2 0 S 2 0 T=?RTlnK 2=132000?164T, (500–800°C).  相似文献

Tetracosactide (Synacthen), a synthetic analogue of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), can be used as a doping agent to increase the secretion of glucocorticoids by adrenal glands. The only published method for anti-doping control of this drug in plasma relies on purification by immunoaffinity chromatography and LC/MS/MS analysis. Its limit of detection is 300 pg/mL, which corresponds to the peak value observed 12 h after 1 mg Synacthen IM administration. We report here a more sensitive method based on preparation of plasma by cation exchange chromatography and solid-phase extraction and analysis by LC/MS/MS with positive-mode electrospray ionization using 7–38 ACTH as internal standard. Identification of Synacthen was performed using two product ions, m/z 671.5 and m/z 223.0, from the parent [M?+?5H]5+ ion, m/z 587.4. The recovery was estimated at 70%. A linear calibration curve was obtained from 25 to 600 pg/mL (R 2?>?0.99). The lower limit of detection was 8 pg/mL (S/N?>?3). The lower limit of quantification was 15 pg/mL (S/N?>?10; CV%?相似文献

The mechanism of binding of vitamin C (VC) with bovine serum albumin (BSA) was investigated by spectroscopic methods under simulated physiological conditions. VC effectively quenched the intrinsic fluorescence of BSA. The binding constants K A, and the number of binding sites, n, and corresponding thermodynamic parameters ΔG Θ , ΔH Θ and ΔS Θ between VC and BSA were calculated at different temperatures. The primary binding pattern between VC and BSA was interpreted as being a hydrophobic interaction. The interaction between VC and BSA occurs through static quenching and the effect of VC on the conformation of BSA was also analyzed using synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy. The average binding distance, r, between the donor (BSA) and acceptor (VC) was determined based on Förster’s theory and was found to be 3.65 nm. The effects of common ions on the binding constant of VC-BSA were also examined.  相似文献

In view of the earlier observation that the incorporation of Pluronics in lipid membranes enhances their permeability to various drugs, the relationship between the structure of a permeant and the Pluronic-induced acceleration of its membrane transport was studied. The extent of acceleration defined as the ratio of the apparent permeation rate constants in the presence and in the absence of Pluronic, k/k 0, was determined for 21 weak acids and bases. Multiparameter correlations of the obtained data with various structural characteristics of the solutes transferable were constructed. Twelve structural parameters of the permeants were examined. The best correlation was achieved with a linear combination of the three parameters: the McGowan volume V of a compound, its proton-donating ability A, and the projection of the dipole moment of the molecule onto the normal to the membrane surface μZ, ln(k/k 0) = ?0.87-0.44μZ + 0.31 V + 0.28A, R = 0.90. This means that Pluronic preferably accelerates the permeation of large molecules containing proton-donating groups and molecules incorporated in the lipid bilayer in such a manner that the vector of their dipole moment is aligned with the dipole potential of the membrane.  相似文献

Volumetric, viscometric and speed of sound studies of binary mixtures of tert-butyl acetate with fluorobenzene, chlorobenzene and bromobenzene have been made over the entire range of composition, at (298.15 and 308.15) K and at atmospheric pressure (p?=?0.089 MPa). From the experimental values of density, viscosity, and speed of sound, the excess molar volumes VE, deviations in viscosity ?η and deviation in isentropic compressibility ΔK S have been calculated. The VE and ΔK S values are negative while the ?η the values are positive over the entire composition range for the binary mixtures. The derived parameters have been fitted with the Redlich–Kister polynomial equation. The interaction parameters of McAllister model are used to correlate the experimental values of density, viscosity and speed of sound.  相似文献

p-Dimethylaminocinnamaldehyde has been proposed as a reagent for the spectrophotometric determination of sulfanilamides. This reagent was shown to undergo in acetonitrile a condensation reaction with sulfanilamide, Sulfamethoxypyridazine, Sulfachloropyridazine, Sulfamethoxazole, and Sulfamethazine to form colored products. Optimal reaction conditions were found. A procedure for the spectrophotometric determination of sulfanilamide compounds with detection limit n × 10?2 μg/mL was developed. Determination of Sulfamethoxazole and Sulfamethazine in pharmaceuticals was carried out.  相似文献

Equilibrium geometric parameters, normal mode frequencies and intensities in IR spectra, atomization enthalpy, and relative energies of low-lying electronic states of scandium fluoride molecules (ScF, ScF2, and ScF3) are calculated by the coupled-cluster method (CCSD(T)) in triple-, quadruple, and quintuple-zeta basis sets with the subsequent extrapolation of the calculation results to the complete basis set limit. The ScF molecule is also studied by the CCSDT technique. The error in the approximate calculation of triple excitations in the CCSD(T) method does not exceed 0.002 Å for the equilibrium internuclear distance R e, 4 cm?1 for the vibrational frequency, and 0.2 kcal/mol for the dissociation energy of the molecule. In the ground electronic state \(\tilde X^2 \) A 1(C 2ν ) of ScF2 molecules, R e(Sc-F) = 1.827 Å and αe(F-Sc-F) = 124.2°; the energy barrier to bending (linearization) h = E min(D g8h ) ? E min(C) = 1652 cm?1. The relative energies of Ã2Δ g and \(\tilde B^2 \)Π g electronic states are 3522 cm?1 and 14633 cm?1 respectively. The bond distance in the ScF3 molecule (\(\tilde X^1 \) A1, D 3h ) is refined: R e(Sc-F) = 1.842 Å. The atomization enthalpies Δat H 298 0 of ScF k molecules are 139.9 kcal/mol, 289.0 kcal/mol, and 444.8 kcal/mol for k = 1, 2, 3 respectively.  相似文献

Cyclic voltammetry was used to detect p-sulfonated calix[n]arenas (SCnA) how to immobilize on gold surface. P-sulfonated calix[n]arenes not only increased the specific surface area of the modified electrode, but also improved the enrichment ability of tyrosine. This led to a significant increase in peak current, and improved the sensitivity of tyrosine determination on the p-sulfonated calix[n]arenes-modified electrode. The modified electrode showed good catalytic ability of l-tyrosine oxidation reaction. The peak current of l-tyrosine increased and the oxidation peak potential shifted negatively with cavity size of the SCnA-modified electrode, which indicated that the catalytic ability of the modified electrode to l-tyrosine oxidation reaction was also enhanced. For the tyrosine guest molecule, the order of electrochemical activity and magnitude of catalytic ability of the oxidation reaction of the three modified gold electrodes was as follows: SC4A?>?SC6A?>?SC8A. The electrode had high selectivity and stability for the determination of tyrosine, with a wide linear range, low detection limit and high sensitivity at different concentrations under different pH values. This resulted in an accurate, fast, sensitive electrochemical method for the determination of tyrosine. The sensor was used for the determination of tyrosine in human urine with satisfactory results.  相似文献
