We have studied the Nb(70 nm)/Ni0.65Cu0.35(6.5 nm)/Si layered structure in the temperature range T = 1.5–10 K using polarized neutron reflectometry. The correlation of the states of magnetic structures is observed at temperature T = 9 K, which is slightly higher than the superconducting transition temperature Tc = 8.5 K of the structure. At temperature T = 4 K, which is lower than Tc, the effect of reflexivity of magnetic states existing at T = 9 K was observed.  相似文献

It has been found that the magnitude and sign of exchange interaction between Co(5 nm) and CoNi(5 nm) ferromagnetic layers through Pd depend on magnetization orientation of ferromagnetic layers. If magnetization is oriented in a layer plane, exchange interaction can be both ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic. If magnetization orientation is orthogonal to a layer plane, the exchange constant is always positive at dPd<d c and equals zero at dPd>d c (d c is the characteristic length).  相似文献

Low-field magnetizationM(H) measurements can be used to probe the nature of the screening currents and the interlayer coupling in high-T c cuprates. Here we compare theM(H) behaviour of single crystals of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 and fully oxygenated and oxygen reduced YBa2Cu3O7??. In YBa2Cu3O7, theM(H) behaviour is consistent with anisotropic 3D superconductivity whilst in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8, the surface screening currents are strongly affected by the presence of vortices, implying that the CuO2 planes are coupled via a weak Josephson interaction. In oxygen-deficient YBa2Cu3O6.7 (T c =63K), theM(H) behaviour at low temperatures is similar to that found for Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8, implying that the removal of oxygen from the chains has resulted in a dimensional crossover of the superconducting state in YBa2Cu3O7??. As the temperature approachesT c , the 3D behaviour is eventually restored as thec-axis coherence length ξ c becomes comparable with the interlayer spacingd.  相似文献

The effect of substrate temperature Tsub and bias voltage Ubias on the texture of NiFe films with thickness d ~ 30–340 nm deposited by DC magnetron sputtering onto Si(111)/SiO2 substrates under working gas pressure ~ 0.2 Pa has been investigated. It has been demonstrated that films grown at room substrate temperature have the (111) texture that is refined under a negative bias voltage. The deposition of films onto a grounded (Ubias ~ 0) substrate heated to Tsub ~ 440–640 K results in the formation of textured NiFe(200) films.  相似文献

Room-temperature Raman spectra were obtained for powder samples of Zn1?xNixSe and Zn1?yCrySe compounds and for a single-crystal Zn1?xNixSe (x = 0.0025) sample in the temperature range 5–140 K. The results obtained are interpreted in terms of large-scale lattice shear strains induced by 3d elements in these solid solutions.  相似文献

The idea of strong interaction within the same unit cell is used to establish the possibility of the existence of ferromagnetic instability in a system with jumps between cations of transition elements. The level-crossing technic has been used to investigate the hyperfinestructur of the 3d 10 4p 2 P 3/2-term in Copper I by scattering the resonance line λ=3248 Å on an atomic beam of separated isotop Cu63 respectively Cu65 in an external magnetic field. From the level-crossing signals values for the magnetic dipol interaction constantsA and for the electric quadrupol interaction constantsB are deduced to beeA(Cu63)=(194,72±0,15) Mc/secB(Cu63)=?(28,8±0,6) Mc/secA(Cu65)=(208,57±0,15) Mc/secB(Cu65)=?(25,9±0,6) Mc/sec. With theA-value of the 3d 10 4p2P1/2-term from optical measurements the ratioA(2 P 3/2)∶A(2 P 1/2)≈0,4 is about twice greater than for an unperturbetalkali-like2P-term. From the width of the level-crossing signals a mean lifetime of the 3d10 4p2P3/2-term τ=(7,0±0,2) · 10?9 sec is deduced.  相似文献

Features of a phase transition between 0 and π states in superconductor/ferromagnet/superconductor (SFS) Josephson structures with thin superconducting layers and a ferromagnetic barrier are studied experimentally and theoretically. The dependence of the critical temperature Tc of a transition of the hybrid structure to a superconducting state on the thickness of superconducting layers ds is analyzed by a local method involving measurements of the nonlinear microwave response of the system by a near-field probe. An anomalous increase in the measured temperature Tc at the reduction of the thickness ds is detected and is attributed to the 0-π transition.  相似文献

We consider Ising models in two and three dimensions, with short range ferromagnetic and long range, power-law decaying, antiferromagnetic interactions. We let J be the ratio between the strength of the ferromagnetic to antiferromagnetic interactions. The competition between these two kinds of interactions induces the system to form domains of minus spins in a background of plus spins, or vice versa. If the decay exponent p of the long range interaction is larger than d + 1, with d the space dimension, this happens for all values of J smaller than a critical value Jc(p), beyond which the ground state is homogeneous. In this paper, we give a characterization of the infinite volume ground states of the system, for p > 2d and J in a left neighborhood of Jc(p). In particular, we prove that the quasi-one-dimensional states consisting of infinite stripes (d = 2) or slabs (d = 3), all of the same optimal width and orientation, and alternating magnetization, are infinite volume ground states. Our proof is based on localization bounds combined with reflection positivity.  相似文献

A mechanism for the magnetic ordering of dysprosium in Dy1?x Ni x -Ni bilayer films is proposed. This ordering was discovered earlier by the authors when studying magnetic circular dichroism. For x exceeding a threshold value (~0.05), the contribution from the Dy1?x Ni x layer in a bilayer film to the magnetic circular dichroism over the temperature range 80–300 K is approximately equal in magnitude to the magnetic circular dichroism observed in a single-layer Dy film at temperatures below the ferromagnetic phase transition temperature of Dy (~100 K). Since magnetic circular dichroism is an effect linear in magnetization, the observed effect is associated with magnetic ordering of the Dy1?x Ni x layer in bilayer films due to the simultaneous influence of two factors: the incorporation of Ni into the Dy layer and the influence of the continuous Ni sublayer. The ferromagnetic ordering of a dysprosium layer doped with nickel (under conditions of an atomic contact with a continuous nickel layer) was confirmed by the field dependences of the polar and longitudinal Kerr effects. It was shown that both layers in the bilayer structure are magnetized in the same direction and characterized by an anisotropy of the easy-plane type. The magnetic ordering is assumed to be due to the change in the density of states of the Dy1?x Ni x alloy caused by hybridization with the narrow peaks near the Fermi level characteristic of nickel.  相似文献

On the basis of the concept of strong interaction in one unit cell, it is stated that ferromagnetic instability can occur in a system with hops between oxygen anions and transition metal (Me) cations in A1?xBxMeO3 compounds. A phase diagram is constructed to describe the occurrence of ferromagnetic ordering as a function of the average number of holes (ht, d) and (hp) in the low-spin or high-spin t 2g 6 or high-spin 3d10 shell of the transition metal and in the 2p6 shells of O2?.  相似文献

The results of studies of the absorption spectra of nickel orthoborate Ni3(BO3)2 in the range of electronic dd-transitions are reported. The obtained data are analyzed in the framework of the crystal field theory. The Ni2+ ions are located in two crystallographically nonequivalent positions 2a and 4f with point symmetry groups C2h and C2, respectively, surrounded by six oxygen ions forming deformed octahedra. The absorption spectra exhibit three intense bands corresponding to spin-resolved transitions from the ground state of nickel ion 3A2g (3F) to the sublevels of the 3T2g (3F), 3T1g (3F) and 3T1g (3P) triplets split by the spinorbit interaction and the rhombic component of the crystal field. At temperatures below 100 K, the spectra exhibit a thin structure, in which phonon-free lines can be distinguished. Comparison of the calculated frequencies of the zero-phonon transitions with the experimental data allows estimating parameters of the crystal field acting on the nickel ions in the 2a- and 4f-positions, as well as the parameters of electrostatic interaction between the 3d electrons and spin-orbit interaction constants.  相似文献

With a method of observing the temperature dependence of therf-permeability the Curie temperatureΘ of evaporated thin films (thicknessD from 30 to 300 Å) of nickel with various structures was investigated. Monocrystalline samples withD about 50 Å showedΘ-values comparable to the bulk material. The behaviour of some polycrystalline and several granulated films depends to a large extent on the structure (varied by conditions of deposition). It may be explained with a model that treats aggregates of small ferromagnetic particles with a high spontaneous magnetization but an interaction that may be considerably weaker than the full ferromagnetic exchange coupling. There appears a transition (to superparamagnetism) temperatureT A which can be much lower than the Curie temperature. The expected dependence of TA on particle size fits approximately with the experimental results from therf-method and electron diffraction data at samples of various structures.  相似文献

This paper reports on the results of investigations into the temperature and spectral dependences of the magnetic circular dichroism in Dy1?xNix-Ni bilayer films prepared through thermal sputter deposition of components under ultrahigh vacuum. The distribution of the components over the layer thickness is examined by Auger spectroscopy. The nickel content x in Dy1?xNix layers varies from 0.005 to 0.06. It is shown that, in the temperature range 80–300 K, the contribution made to the magnetic circular dichroism by a Dy1?xNix layer in a bilayer film with a nickel content higher than the threshold value is approximately equal to the magnetic circular dichroism observed in an isolated Dy1?xNix film at temperatures below the temperature of the phase transition to a ferromagnetic state (~100 K). This phenomenon is explained by magnetic ordering in the Dy1?xNix layer of the bilayer film due to the combined effect of two factors, namely, the incorporation of nickel into a dysprosium layer and the presence of a continuous nickel sublayer in the film.  相似文献

The effect of isothermal annealing on the magnetic anisotropy, bilinear and biquadratic exchange coupling energies, and domain structure of Co/Cu/Co trilayer fiilms with dCo=6 nm and dCu=1.0 and 2.1 nm prepared by magnetron sputtering has been studied. It is shown that, under isothermal annealing, the biquadratic coupling energy decreases by more than an order of magnitude in films with dCu=1.0 nm and increases in films with dCu=2.1 nm. The fourth-order magnetic anisotropy is shown to be related to the existence of biquadratic exchange energy.  相似文献

LSDA + U + SO calculations of the electronic structure of helicoidal Fe1 - xCo x Si ferromagnets within the virtual crystal approximation have been supplemented with the consideration of the Dzyaloshinski-Moriya interaction and ferromagnetic fluctuations of the spin density of collective d electrons with the Hubbard interactions at Fe and Co atoms randomly distributed over sites. The magnetic-state equation in the developed model describes helicoidal ferromagnetism and its disappearance accompanied by the occurrence of a maximum of uniform magnetic susceptibility at temperature T C and chiral fluctuations of the local magnetization at T > T C . The reasons why the magnetic contribution to the specific heat at the magnetic phase transition changes monotonically and the volume coefficient of thermal expansion (VCTE) at low temperatures is negative and has a wide minimum near T C have been investigated. It is shown that the VCTE changes sign when passing to the paramagnetic state (at temperature T S ).  相似文献

By calculating the optical spectrum band positions and EPR parameters (g factors, g‖, g⊥ and zero-field splitting D) by diagonalizing the complete energy matrix of 3d8 ions in trigonal symmetry, the defect structure of Ni2+ centre in α-LiIO3 crystal is studied. It is found that to reach the good fits of optical and EPR data between calculation and experiment, the Ni2+ ion should shift by Δz ≈ 0.298 Å along C3-axis and the O2? ions between the Ni2+ ion and Li+ vacancy (V Li) should be displaced away from the V Li by Δx ≈ 0.097 Å because of the electrostatic interaction. In the present study, a theoretical approach to investigate the magnetic hysteresisproperties in barcode nanowire are used and applied to study Ising system on hexagonalstructure. The hysteresis behaviors of Ising-type barcode nanowire (IBN) are studiedwithin the effective-field theory with correlations. The effects of the composition(p),temperature (T) and geometry (interlayer length (d), shell length(s), andwire length (r)) on the hysteresis behaviors are examined indetail. The phase diagrams are presented in the five different planes, namely(p,T),(d,r),(d, T), (r, T) and (s, T) as function of coercive field (H C ) and remanence(M r ), and investigatedsoft/hard the magnetic characteristics of the system. We find that the hysteresis loopsareas decrease case as the temperature, wire and lengths increase. Moreover, whenp increasesthe hysteresis loop areas increase. Moreover, H C exhibits an increasein around d =1 value, then H C does not change withthe increasing d values. Theoretical results have qualitativelycompatible with some experimental works of multilayer nanowire.  相似文献

The crystal and magnetic structures of La0.75Ca0.25MnO3 manganite are studied under high pressures up to 4.5 GPa in the temperature range 12–300 K by the neutron diffraction method. At normal pressure and temperature T C = 240 K, a ferromagnetic state is formed in La0.75Ca0.25MnO3. At high pressures P ≥ 1.5 GPa and at temperatures T < T N ≈ 150 K, a new A-type antiferromagnetic state appears. A further increase in pressure leads to an increase in the volume fraction of the antiferromagnetic phase, which coexists with the initial ferromagnetic phase. The effect of high pressure causes a considerable increase in T C with the slope dT C /dP ≈ 12 K/GPa. Calculations performed in the framework of the double exchange model with allowance for the electron-phonon interaction make it possible to explain this pressure dependence of T C on the basis of experimental data.  相似文献

The magnetic properties of Co-adsorbed SiC monolayer under an external electric field are investigated using first-principles method. In the absence of the electric field, the interaction between two Co atoms is ferromagnetic, which is originated by the p?d hybridization between Co and its neighboring C and Si atoms. When an electric field was introduced along the c axis, the interaction between two Co dopants switched from ferromagnetic to antiferromagnetic, which could be dominated by the competition between p?d exchange and superexchange. Moreover, the magnetic anisotropy prefers to parallel to the a axis and it seems not to be turn into the c axis under the electric field.  相似文献
