We have examined the parametrization of the e<'+>e<'->→ωπ<'0> cross section in the vicinity of the φ resonance and the extraction of the branching fraction of the isospin violating process φ→ωπ<'0> from experimental data. We found that there axe two possible solutions of the branching fraction: one is 4 × 10<'-5>, and the other is 7×10<'-3>. We present a systematic calculation on the α-decay branching ratios to excited-states of an even-even α-decay chain ^242Cm → ^238Pu → ^234U → ^230Th → ^226Rn by the improved barrier penetration approach. The changes of the parities between the parent nuclei and the daughter nuclei are properly taken into account. The theoretical values are compared with the available experimental data and the deviation between them is within a factor of 5 in most cases.  相似文献

We calculate the masses and decay constants of the P-wave strange-bottomed mesons Bs0 and Bs1 with the QCD sum rules, and observe that the central values of the masses Bs0 and Bs1 are smaller than the corresponding BK and B^*K thresholds respectively, the strong decays Bs0→ BK and Bs1→B^*K are kinematically forbidden. They can decay through the isospin violation processes Bs0→ Bsη → Bsπ^0 and Bs1 → Bs^*η → Bs^*π^0 .The bottomed mesons Bs0 and Bs1, just like their charmed cousins Ds0(2317) and Ds1(2460), may be very narrow.  相似文献

Using the QCD factorization approach, we investigate the electro-weak penguin dominated process 13~ --, q57r~ in the extra down-type quark (EDQS) model. We calculate the effects of new physics (NP) on the branching fraction and direct CP asymmetry of the decay mode. It is found that the branching fraction can be increased by 15~o points or dropped by 13~o points than the standard model (SM) value, and its direct CP asymmetry can be increased by 35% points or dropped by 37% points than the SM one. The effects of NP on the direct CP asymmetry are more obvious than on the branching fraction. If this decay mode could be measured in the upcoming LHCb experiment, these results we obtain will be useful for further studies of the EDQS model.  相似文献

We examine the effects of an unparticle U as a possible source of missing energy in the p-wave decays of a B meson. The dependence of the differential branching ratio on the K0^* (K1) - meson's energy is discussed in the presence of scalar and vector unparticle operators and significant deviation from the standard model value is found after addition of these operators. Finally, we have shown the dependence of the branching ratio for the above-mentioned decays on the parameters of unparticle stuff like effective couplings, cutoff scale Au and the scale dimensions du.  相似文献

We calculate the D→η transition form factor in light-cone sum rules by taking improved current correlators to avoid the pollution from the twist-3 wave function. We get consistent results of the D+→η(′)l+νl decays with the experimental data. By comparing the difference between the results of the branching ratios of D+→η(′)l+νl from a two-pole parameterization model and from a BZ parameterization model, we find that the two-pole model and the BZ model are comparably believable. In an experiment with the Spherical Neutral Detector at VEPP-2M collider the cross section of the process e^+e^- →π^+π^-π^0π^0 was measured. At energies √s 〈 920 MeV this cross section was measured for the first time. The energy dependence of the cross section is well discribed by the vector dominance model with contributions from p, p', p" mesons. The decay probability ρ→π^+π^-π^0π^0 was found to be Bρ = (1.60±0.74±0.18) × 10^-5. The upper limit for the decay ω→π^+π^-π^0π^0 was improved by two orders of magnitude compared to the previous measurements and is Bω 〈 2 × 10^-4 at 90% confidence level.  相似文献

In this article, we calculate the contribution from the nonfactorizable soft hadronic matrix element to the decay B^0→Xc1π^0 with the light-cone quantum chromo-dynamic (QCD) sum rules. The numerical results show that its contribution is rather large and should not be neglected. The total amplitudes lead to a branching fraction which is in agreement with the experimental data marginally.  相似文献

We study Bd → φKs decay in extra down-type quarks (EDQS) model with a non-universal Z boson associated with flavor changing neutral currents (FCNCs) at the tree level. With the up-to-date experimental data of Br(Bd → φKs), SCKs, and ACKs, we derive the bounds on the Z-b-s coupling parameter |Ubs | and the new weak phase φ, using the constrained parameter spaces, we finally give predictions for Bd → φφ decay, which could be tested at the Fermilab Tevatron and the LHC-b experiments.  相似文献

In this article, we calculate the branching ratios of B→K0^* (1430)K decays by employing the pertur-bative QCD (pQCD) approach at leading order. We perform the evaluations in the two scenarios for the scalar meson spectrum. We find that (i) The leading order pQCD predictions for the branching ratio Br(B^+→K^+K0^*(1430)^0)are in good agreement with the experimental upper limit in both scenarios, while the pQCD predictions for other considered B→K0^*(1430)K decay modes are also presented and will be tested by the LHC experiments; (ii) The annihilation contributions play an important role in these considered decays, for B^0→K0^*(1430)^±K^± decays,for example,which are found to be (1-4)×10^-6.  相似文献

In this paper, we calculate the branching ratios and the direct CP-violating asymmetries for decays B^0 → a0^0(980)π^0, a0^+ (980)π^-, a0^-(980)π^+ and B^- → a0^0 (980)π^-, a0^- (980)π^0 by employing the perturbative QCD (pQCD) factorization approach at the leading order. We found that (a) the pQCD predictions for the branching ratios are around (0.4-2.8) × 10^-6, consistent with currently available experimental upper limits; (b) the CP asymmetries of B^0→ a0^0(980)π^0 and B^- → a0^- (980)π^0 decays can be large, about (70-80)% for α= 100°.  相似文献

A combined fit is performed to the BABAR and Belle measurements of the e^+e^- →φπ^+π^- and φf0(980) cross sections for center-of-mass energy between threshold and 3.0 GeV. The resonance parameters of the φ(1680) and Y(2175) are determined. The mass is (1681-12^+10) MeV/c^2 and the width is (221-24^+34) MeV/c^2 for the φ(1680), and the mass is (2117-49^+59) MeV/c^2 and the width is (164-80^+69) MeV/c^2 for the Y(2175). This information will shed light on the understanding of the nature of the excited φ and Y states observed in e+e- annihilation.  相似文献

Based on the assumption of a two-quark structure of the scalar meson f0(980) ,we calculate the branching ratios and CP-violating asymmetries for the four B → f0(980) π and B → f0(980) η^(') decays by employing the perturbative QCD(pQCD) factorization approach. The leading order pQCD predictions for branching ratios are,Br(B^-→ f0(980) π^-) ~ 2.5×10^-6,Br(Bˉ^0 → f0(980) π^0) ~ 2.6×10^-7,Br(Bˉ^0 → f0(980) η) ~ 2.5×10^-7 and Br(Bˉ^0 → f0(980) η ) ~ 6.7×10^-7,which are consistent with both the QCD factorization predictions and the experimental upper limits.  相似文献

Experimental data from the PEP-II B-factory at 10.6 GeV center-of-mass (c.m.) energy, obtained via initial-state radiation (ISR) with the BABAR detector, are presented. The cross sections for many hadronic processes have been measured from the production threshold to 4-5 GeV of the e^+e^- c.m. energy. The obtained data allow to study a number of intermediate states and determine the parameters of known resonances and their branching fractions. Based on the assumption of two-quark structure of the scalar meson K0^*(1430), we calculate the CP-averaged branching ratios for B→K0^*(1430)η(') decays in the framework of the perturbative QCD (pQCD) approach here. We perform the evaluations in two scenarios for the scalar meson spectrum. We find that: (a) the pQCD predictions for Br(B→K0^*(1430)η(')) which are about 10^-5 10^-6, basically agree with the data within large theoretical uncertainty; (b) the agreement between the pQCD predictions and the data in Scenario Ⅰ is better than that in Scenario Ⅱ, which can be tested by the forthcoming LHC experiments; (c) the annihilation contributions play an important role for these considered decays.  相似文献

In this article, we take the point of view that the light scalar meson a0(980) is a conventional qqstate, and calculate the coupling constants ga0ηπ0 and ga0ηπ0 with the light-cone QCD sum rules. The central value of the coupling constant ga0ηπ0 is consistent with that extracted from the radiative decay φ(1020) → a0(980)γ→ηπ0γ. The central value and lower bound of the decay width Γa0→ηπ0 =127+8448 MeV are compatible with the experimental data of the total decay width Γa0(980) = (50-100) MeV from the Particle Data Group with a very model dependent estimation (the decay width can be much larger), while the upper bound is too large. We give a possible explanation for the discrepancy between the theoretical calculation and experimental data.  相似文献

This work studies the systematic reduced transition probabilities B(E2)↓, intrinsic quadrupole moments and deformation parameters of Pd isotopes with even neutrons from N =62 to 66. The downward reduced transition probabilities B(E2)↓from gamma transition 8^+to 6^+, 6^+ to 4^+, 4^+ to 2^+ and 2^+ to 0+states of even-even108 112Pd isotopes were calculated by the Interacting Boson Model(IBM-1) and compared with the available previous experimental results. The ratio of the excitation energies of the first 4+and the first 2+excited states, R4/2, is also studied for the classification of symmetry of these nuclei. Furthermore we have studied systematically the transition rate R = B(E2: L+ →(L 2)+)/B(E2 : 2+ →0+) of some of the low-lying quadrupole collective states in comparison with the available experimental data. The associated quadrupole moments and deformation parameters have been calculated. The results of this calculation are in good agreement with the corresponding available experimental data. The108 112Pd isotopes show the O(6) symmetry.  相似文献
