相干谐波储存环自由电子激光的相干增强因子正比于光学速调管自发辐射谱调制率的平方,加深光学速调管自发辐射谱的调制是相干谐波储存环自由电子激光研究的重要一环.介绍在中国科学技术大学800MeV电子储存环上所进行的加深光学速调管自发辐射谱调制的研究工作,调制率已从0.236提高到了0.80,为相干谐波产生实验奠定了基础.  相似文献

提出了一种光学速调管自由电子激光器的新方案,并用Madey定理这种新型的谐波自由电子激光器进行了分析和计算。结果表明,这种新型结构的自由电子激光器可以增大高次谐波的辐强度和增益,从而可望使自由电子激光工作在高次谐波上,提供短波长的光输出。  相似文献

In this paper spontaneous emission of radiation by relativistic electrons in a gyro‐klystron is studied. The scheme consists of two solenoid sections separated by a dispersive section. In the dispersive section the electrons are made non‐resonant with the radiation. The dispersive section transforms a small change of the velocity into changes of the phases of the electrons. This leads to enhanced radiation due to klystron‐type modulation as compared with a conventional gyrotron‐type device driven by cyclotron maser interaction. It is shown that the klystron‐modulated spectrum depends on the dispersive field strength, finite perpendicular velocity component and length of the solenoids but is independent of the axial magnetic field strength. A simple scheme to design a gyro‐klystron is discussed.  相似文献

To improve the gain in the Orsay storage ring Free Electron Laser (FEL) experiment, the 17 period permanent magnet undulator has been modified to form an optical klystron (OK). We report the measurement of spontaneous emission and the effects on it of energy spread and angular spread. Gain and laser induced bunch lengthening measurements with the OK are also reported and are in very good agreement with the FEL classical theory. The spontaneous emission spectrum which is easy to measure with good signal to noise ratio, turns out to be a very good diagnostic tool forenergy spread and angular spread measurements on storage rings. The factor of four increase in the small gain obtained by converting the undulator NOEL into an OK was the critical factor in the recent operation of the ACO storage ring laser above threshold.  相似文献

耦合光学微腔(Coupled optical microcavity,CMC)是一种特殊结构的微腔,在耦合微腔中,两个独立的微腔相邻耦合在一起.通常一个腔是无源的,另一个腔是有源的.首次研究了有机材料在耦合微腔中的自发发射特性.实验采用的有机发光材料为八羟基喹啉铝Tris(8-quinolinolato)aluminium(Alq3),器件的结构为Glass/DBRA/Filler/DBRB/Alq3/DBRC.底部腔是无源的,组成为DBRA/Filler/DBRB.顶部腔是有源的,由DBRB/Alq3/DBRC构成.其中反射镜DBRA、DBRB、DBRC以及填充层(Filler)均由光学介质材料构成.通过结构设计使两个腔的谐振波长均位于530nm.耦合微腔器件与单层Alq3薄膜相比较,Alq3薄膜的光致发光光谱是峰值位于511nm的宽谱带,而在耦合微腔器件中观察到的是具有两个腔模式,峰值波长分别位于518,553nm的增强并窄化的光谱.这是由于两个腔的光场耦合引起了腔模式分裂.结果表明耦合微腔能极大地改变有机材料的自发发射特性,可以用来提高器件的发光效率.  相似文献

The development of free electron lasers (FELs) with a compact storage ring NIJI-IV in the near- and middle-infrared regions has been advanced at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology. The optical klystron ETLOK-III was installed in one of the long straight sections of the NIJI-IV, and spontaneous emission spectra were observed in the visible and near-infrared regions. Optical cavity chambers for infrared FELs were installed this February, and it was confirmed that the vibration amplitude of the optical cavity chambers was below 0.5 μm in an optical beam axis. FEL experiments in the near-infrared region will be performed this winter.  相似文献

We study the spontaneous emission of atoms near an optical nanofiber and analyze the coupling efficiency of the spontaneous emission into a nanofiber. We also investigate the influence of the van der Waals interaction of atoms with the surface of the optical nanofiber on the spectrum of coupled light. Using, as an example, 85Rb atoms we show that the van der Waals interaction may considerably extend the red wing of the spontaneous emission line and, accordingly, produce a well-defined asymmetry of the spontaneous emission spectrum coupled into an optical nanofiber.  相似文献

研究了电子在有轴向磁场的平面摆动器中的辐射,得到了一个较普遍的自发辐射谱表达式,谱线的形状也是由函数sinc(u)决定,当电子的能量较高或者没摆动器轴线观察时,辐射是满圆极化的,数值分析表明,在平面摆动器中附加适当的轴向磁场,可以提高各次谐波辐射的强度,对于基波和较低次谐波,提高更明显。  相似文献

本文提出一种基于受激渡越辐射的的光学速调管新方案。应用著名的Madey定理对这种新型的自由电子激光器进行了分析和计算,其中包括自发辐射的和受激辐射的分析讨论。结果表明,Madey定理确能简化复杂的计算,并给出清楚的物理概念;同时计算还表明,受激渡越辐射光学速调管具有大的输出增益。文中对N个介质区构成的多级光学速调管情形也进行了讨论。 关键词:  相似文献

We study the electron phase-space evolution and gain in free electron lasers whose short-wavelength radiation has Gaussian spherial wavefronts. Several free electron laser designs are considered: the undulator, the tapered wavelength undulator, and the optical klystron. The spontaneous emission spectrum in the optically excited single-electron-tunneling device coupled to the side dot is analytically found to be determined by the 12 exciton-complex optical channels with different optical weight functions. The electronic tunneling channels and optical transition channels co-determine the emission, where the competition between the electron-like and hole-like channels leads to the tail effect and the competition between the lower and higher energy resonant optical channels leads to the blueshift(redshift) of the emission signal.  相似文献

 采用单电子模型分析了电子在线极化激光驻波中的动力学及谐波自发辐射谱,数值计算了电子在驻波中的运动情况及辐射谱。结果表明:电子在波节和波腹处入射后,其辐射谱出现不同的特征;电子在波节处垂直磁场入射后,在洛伦兹力作用下快速振动并向前运动,其向后辐射的光谱发生红移,向前辐射的光谱发生蓝移,谱线出现展宽;当激光强度或者电子初始能量增大时,这些效应更加突出,以至于产生更高阶谐波,形成连续谱;而电子在波腹处以平行电场的方向入射后,仅在电场作用下作直线运动,其自发辐射谱线没有发生移动和展宽。  相似文献

电子光学系统是毫米波速调管长寿命和整管性能实现的关键,毫米波速调管零件尺寸较小,为了在Ka波段和W波段实现千瓦量级的输出功率,要求具有高的电子注通过率及低的阴极负荷。对Ka波段和W波段电子光学系统特性进行了分析,确定了Ka波段10 kW分布作用速调管和W波段1 kW分布作用速调管电子光学系统的设计方案,利用软件对电子枪和聚焦系统的结构进行计算,并采用CST仿真软件对设计的电子枪发射的电子注在聚焦磁场中的状态进行优化。设计出的Ka波段速调管电子光学系统,电子枪工作电压26 kV,发射电流2 A,互作用区长度30 mm,磁场强度大于0.6 T,流通达到100%。设计的W波段速调管电子光学系统,电子枪工作电压17 kV,电流0.65 A,互作用区长度20 mm,磁场大于0.9 T,流通达到100%。已制成Ka波段速调管和W波段速调管,设计的电子光学系统能够满足速调管工程化需求。  相似文献

The spontaneous emission of an atomic system in the field of a high-intensity femtosecond laser pulse is considered within the framework of a consistent quantum-mechanical approach based on an examination of the interaction of a quantum system with a set of quantized field modes in a vacuum state. Both even and odd harmonics of the driving field are shown to appear in the atomic emission spectrum, and the mechanisms of their generation are elucidated. A comparison with the semiclassical theory of laser harmonic generation is made. The semiclassical approach in describing the spontaneous emission in strong laser fields, especially under conditions of significant depletion of the ground (initial) state in a laser field, is shown to be limited.  相似文献
