Several kinds of waveguide components such as curved waveguide bends, arbitrary angle waveguide bends and T-junctions have been analyzed with boundary element method in this paper. A new discretization method for the boundary element method to solve the waveguide discontinuities has been given. The numerical results obtained agree well with the experimental results and numerical results in other literature. Especially, the scattering characteristics of Forded E-, H-plane T-junctions in 3mm band have been analyzed using boundary element method and the calculation results are presented.  相似文献

In this paper we present a process that includes both model/mesh repair and mesh generation. The repair algorithm is based on an initial mesh that may be either an initial mesh of a dirty CAD model or STL triangulation with many errors such as gaps, overlaps and T-junctions. This initial mesh is then remeshed by computing a discrete parametrization with Radial Basis Functions (RBF’s).We showed in [1] that a discrete parametrization can be computed by solving Partial Differential Equations (PDE’s) on an initial correct mesh using finite elements. Paradoxically, the meshless character of the RBF’s makes it an attractive numerical method for solving the PDE’s for the parametrization in the case where the initial mesh contains errors or holes. In this work, we implement the Orthogonal Gradients method to be described in [2], as a RBF solution method for solving PDE’s on arbitrary surfaces.Different examples show that the presented method is able to deal with errors such as gaps, overlaps, T-junctions and that the resulting meshes are of high quality. Moreover, the presented algorithm can be used as a hole-filling algorithm to repair meshes with undesirable holes. The overall procedure is implemented in the open-source mesh generator Gmsh [3].  相似文献

In this paper, theoretical and numerical analysis of low-loss right angle waveguide bends and T-junctions based on ultra-compact photonic crystal ring resonators (PCRR) is presented. Desirable characteristics are obtained by designing the waveguide bends and T-junctions as low-Q resonant cavities with certain symmetries and small radiation loss. A simple analysis, based on coupled mode theory (CMT) in time, is used to explain the operation principles which agree qualitatively with the numerical results. These structures have high transmission efficiency over a large bandwidth in third communication window. Also effects of changing the ring size on power splitter transmission characteristics are discussed. The perfect transmission and zero reflection conditions are discussed by applying coupled mode theory. Results obtained by the finite difference time domain (FDTD) simulations are consistent with those from the coupled mode theory.  相似文献

In this paper, an experimental investigation on the influence of glue on the low frequency vibroacoustic performance (up to 200 Hz) of wooden T-junctions is presented along with a discussion of modelling issues related to the junctions. The mock-ups studied represent cut-outs of full size timber floor assemblies typically used in Sweden. Their dynamic performance was first studied experimentally by means of modal analysis. Moreover, finite element (FE) simulations of the T-junctions were carried out to establish reliable prediction tools, using the measurement data as calibration input. Modelling issues were addressed to investigate the influence of different features that must be taken into account when simulating the connections as part of larger structures. Guidelines for modelling these type of connections, when developing low frequency FE predictive tools, are presented here.  相似文献

T-junctions are common elements in flow duct networks. It is shown that for low Strouhal numbers, based on the duct diameter, their acoustic scattering properties can be described using an incompressible quasi-steady model. Models are derived for systems subjected to combinations of grazing and bias mean flow, and are shown to work in both the limiting cases—that is, grazing or bias flow alone—as well as for the joining or dividing flow configurations. The upper Strouhal number for which the quasi-steady models are applicable is limited by flow-acoustic interaction effects, which differ significantly between the different flow configurations. Generally the models are applicable up to Strouhal numbers of approximately 0.1-0.2, which is comparable with previous published models for other configurations such as bends and orifices. This range is sufficient to make the model useful in many important engineering applications.  相似文献

Majorana zero modes can be simulated in structures based on spin or quasi-spin degrees of freedom, e.g., Josephson-qubit chains. Braiding of Majorana degrees of freedom is realized using T-junctions supplied with an auxiliary spin (ancilla). Motivated by prospective experiments, we analyze the braiding in the spin representation, which provides the basis for the analysis of imperfections characteristic to the spin and qubit designs. The result of the braiding operation is straightforwardly found for the initial basis states of the two qubits and the ancilla, up to phase factors. Here, we fix these phase factors and thus describe the complete two-qubit operation. This result is relevant for physical simulation of the Majorana qubits in Josephson-qubit chains and other spin or qubit structures.

在空气-水两相流实验回路上对油田注汽管线上的一种不等径水平三通进行了相分离特性实验研究。结果表明,侧支管的出口干度X3并非始终高于主管进口干度,当分流比超过某一临界值时X3将低于主管入口干度。该临界值随入口气相折算流速的提高而增大,同时通过在三通上游布置挡板也显著提高了临界分流比,证明流体惯性是影响水平三通相分离特性的最主要因素。与等径三通相比,不等径三通的特性曲线随着侧支管相对内径的缩小逐渐向左下方移动。  相似文献

运用晶格玻尔兹曼方法对单个悬浮粒子在锥形管中的运动进行了数值计算, 给出了锥形管流体的速度分布和压力分布等. 粒子所受的流体作用力分别用动量交换法、改进的动量交换法和压力张量积分法进行计算. 分析了在不同初始位置释放的粒子的运动轨迹和速度变化情况, 结果表明压力张量积分法和改进的动量交换法的计算结果一致, 而没有改进的动量交换法的计算结果和前两者略有不同. 关键词: 晶格玻尔兹曼方法 锥形管 悬浮粒子 改进的动量交换法  相似文献

应用RKDG(Runge-Kutta Discontinuous Galerkin)有限元方法、Level Set方法和Ghost Fluid方法数值模拟二维多介质可压缩流,其中Euler方程组、Level Set方程和重新初始化方程的空间离散采用DG(Discontinuous Galerkin)有限元方法,时间离散采用Runge-Kutta方法.对二维的气-气和气-液两相流进行了数值计算,得到了分辨率较高的计算结果.  相似文献

The paper begins by discussing the interpolating moving least-squares (IMLS) method. Then the formulae of the IMLS method obtained by Lancaster are revised. On the basis of the boundary element-free method (BEFM), combining the boundary integral equation method with the IMLS method improved in this paper, the interpolating boundary element-free method (IBEFM) for two-dimensional elasticity problems is presented, and the corresponding formulae of the IBEFM for two-dimensional elasticity problems are obtained. In the IMLS method in this paper, the shape function satisfies the property of Kronecker δ function, and then in the IBEFM the boundary conditions can be applied directly and easily. The IBEFM is a direct meshless boundary integral equation method in which the basic unknown quantity is the real solution to the nodal variables. Thus it gives a greater computational precision. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the method.  相似文献

In order to test the validity of signal phase matching principle (SPMP) applied to direction of arrival (DOA) estimation, experiments are carried out at a reservoir using 16 sensors array. Two kinds of method, Least Square Method for Signal Matching principle (LSMSPM) and singular value decomposition method for signal matching principle (SVDSPM), are used for DOA estimation. Their performances were analyzed and compared with MUSIC and conventional beam-forming (CBF) method. The results show that the 3 dB beam width obtained by SPMP is 1/4 to 1/7 as much as that obtained by CBF and 1/2 to 1/3 by MUSIC method. In addition, LSMSPM and SVDSPM are available for multi-sources DOA estimation and high resolution DOA estimation, which demonstrates that DOA estimation by SPMP method is better than that by MUSIC and CBF method.  相似文献

In this paper, we analyze the generalized Camassa and Holm (CH) equation by the improved element-free Galerkin (IEFG) method. By employing the improved moving least-square (IMLS) approximation, we derive the formulas for the generalized CH equation with the IEFG method. A variational method is used to obtain the discrete equations, and the essential boundary conditions are enforced by the penalty method. Because there are fewer coefficients in the IMLS approximation than in the MLS approximation, and in the IEFG method, fewer nodes are selected in the entire domain than in the conventional EFG method, the IEFG method should result in a higher computing speed. The effectiveness of the IEFG method for the generalized CH equation is investigated by numerical examples in this paper.  相似文献

In this paper, we improve some key steps in the homogeneous balance method (HBM), and propose a modified homogeneous balance method (MHBM) for constructing multiple soliton solutions of the nonlinear partial differential equation (PDE) in a unified way. The method is very direct and primary; furthermore, many steps of this method can be performed by computer. Some illustrative equations are investigated by this method and multiple soliton solutions are found.  相似文献

针对口径天线及其近区任意厚均匀介质体的复杂系统,应用表面积分方程(SIE)方法结合模式匹配方法(MM)建立了模式激励的新型一体化电磁模型。在馈电端口采取模式匹配方法模拟了波导中的激励情况,将金属壁处理为理想导电体,并在金属壁上利用边界条件建立电场积分方程(EFIE);利用零场等效原理在介质体内外表面分别建立电场积分方程和磁场积分方程(MFIE),并组合内外表面建立的电场积分方程和磁场积分方程为PMCHW方程;最后使用矩量法对所建立的EFIE-PMCHW-MM组合方程进行求解。文中结合喇叭天线设计了两个典型算例,所提混合方法EFIE-PMCHW-MM给出的数值结果与商用软件FEKO高度一致,且在求解口径天线与近区厚介质体耦合问题时由于未知量显著减少,大幅度提高了仿真效率,降低了计算机资源消耗。  相似文献

提出一种新的基于递阶模糊聚类系统的模糊建模方法.目的在于通过一系列的步骤优化T-S模糊模型结构,实现非线性系统的建模和预测.首先利用最近邻聚类法初始划分输入空间,得到规则数及初始聚类中心,用模糊C均值算法(FCM)进一步优化聚类中心;然后利用加权最小二乘法估计模糊模型的初始参数,进一步利用带遗忘因子的递推最小二乘法优化结论参数.采用该方法对Mackey-Glass混沌时间序列进行预测实验,结果表明可以对Mackey-Glass混沌时间序列进行准确建模和预测,证明了本方法的有效性. 关键词: 递阶模糊聚类 模糊建模 混沌时间序列 最小二乘  相似文献

复变量移动最小二乘法构造形函数, 其优点是采用一维基函数建立二维问题的试函数, 使得试函数中所含的待定系数减少, 从而有效提高计算效率. 文章基于复变量移动最小二乘法和局部Petrov-Galerkin弱形式, 采用罚函数法施加边界条件, 推导相应的离散方程, 提出弹性力学的复变量无网格局部Petrov-Galerkin法. 数值算例验证了该方法的有效性.  相似文献
