The synthesis and liquid crystal properties of eight members of the homologous series of 1-(4'-n-alkoxy-2,2',3,3',5,5',6,6'-octafluorobiphenyl-4-yl)-2-(trans-4-n-pentylcyclohexyl)-ethanes and eight members of the corresponding -ethanes, which have the E-configuration, are reported. These compounds are nematic, the ethenes having a considerably mesophase higher thermal stability than the analogous ethanes.  相似文献

The title compound (Z)-ethyl-4-(4-methoxy)benzylidene-2-(3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)- tetrahydrofuran-3,3-dicarboxylate has been synthesized, and its crystal structure was characterized by X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The crystal belongs to triclinic, space group P1-, with a = 8.140(3), b = 11.966(4), c = 13.771(5) α = 67.366(4), β = 85.165(5), γ = 75.806(4)°, V = 1200.1(7) 3, Z = 2, C26H30O8, Mr = 470.50, Dc = 1.302 g/cm3, F(000) = 500, λ(MoKα) = 0.71073 , μ = 0.096 mm–1, R = 0.0659 and wR = 0.1841 for 3080 observed reflections (I > 2σ(I)). As a key intermediate of HIV-1 integrase inhibitor, the synthesis and structure confirmation of the title compound are important for further studies.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Die Optimalbedingungen für die spektrophotometrische Bestimmung der L-Askorbinsäure mit TNBT wurden ermittelt. Die L-As-korbinsäure wurde in Anwesenheit eines 100fachen Überschusses folgender Stoffe bestimmt: Glukose, Fruktose, Saccharose, Wein-, Zitronen-, Oxal-, Äpfel- und Bernsteinsäure. 0,5g/ml ist die minimale Askorbinsäurekonzentration, die sich bestimmen läßt. Die rel. Standardabweichung beträgt 2,1%, der rel. Fehler 0,875%.
Spectrophotometric assay of L. ascorbic acid with 2,2,5,5-tetra-(4-nitro-phenyl)-3, 3-(3,3-dimethoxy-4,4-biphenyl)-ditetrazolium chloride (TNBT)
Summary The optimal conditions for spectrophotometric assay of L-ascorbic acid with TNBT were determined. L-ascorbic acid was assayed in the presence of a 100 fold excess of the following substances: glucose, fructose, sucrose, tartaric acid, citric acid, oxalic acid, malic acid and succinic acid. 0.5g/ml is the minimum concentration of ascorbic acid which can be assayed. The relative standard deviation is 2.1%, the relative error 0.875%.

The chemical stability studies of amides of 3-(3',6'-dioxo-2',4'-dimethyl-1',4'-cyclohexadienyl)-3,3-dimethylpropionic acid (Qa) [Qop(a-j)] were conducted in order to determine the utility of this redox-sensitive system as a potential prodrug promoiety or redox-sensitive protecting group in organic synthesis. This study showed that quinone propionic amides of aniline derivatives [Qop(a-d)] underwent rapid degradation in mildly acidic conditions (pH 4.5-6.0) to yield degradation products resulting from the intramolecular 1,2- or 1,4- conjugate addition of the amide nitrogen to the quinone ring. This conjugate addition was found to be specific base-catalyzed and independent of the para substituent on the aromatic ring of the amine. The predominant route of degradation yielded a five-membered ring spirolactam. By altering the nature of the amine component of the amide, these degradation reactions were prevented. Amides of Qa other than those of the aniline type [Qop(e-j)] were found to be substantially more stable and were thus proposed as the more suitable candidates for this potential redox-sensitive prodrug system and redox-sensitive protecting group for amines and alcohols in organic synthesis.  相似文献

Abstract

A concise synthesis of (2E,4Z)-2,4-heptadien-1-ol and (2E,4Z)-2,4-heptadienal is presented. Commercially available (Z)-2-penten-1-ol was converted to ethyl-(2E,4Z)-2,4-heptadienoate by reaction with activated MnO2 and (carboethoxymethylene)triphenylphosphorane in the presence of benzoic acid as a catalyst. Ethyl-(2E,4Z)-2,4-heptadienoate was converted to (2E,4Z)-2,4-heptadien-1-ol with LiAlH4. The alcohol was partially oxidized to (2E,4Z)-2,4-heptadienal with MnO2. The title compounds are male-specific, antennally active volatile compounds from the Saltcedar leaf beetle, Diorhabda elongata Brulle (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) and have potential use in the biological control of the invasive weed saltcedar (Tamarix spp).  相似文献
