Ba3N2 reacts at 950°C under pure N2 with Zr to yield dark red, air-sensitive Ba[ZrN2]. This new compound crystallizes in the tetragonal space group P4/nmm with a = 416.10(2), c = 839.2(1) pm and Z = 2. The crystal structure was solved and refined using X-ray and neutron powder diffraction data. In the nitrido zirconate [ZrN2]2? the Zr atoms exhibit a square-pyramidal coordination by five N atoms at distances of 201(3) and 220.2(2) pm. The pyramids share all the edges in the basal plane to form layers parallel to (001) with their apices alternately pointing up and down. The Ba2+ cations are integrated into these layers at the levels of the pyramidal apices. The structure can be interpreted as a stuffed PbFCl type. Ba2[NbN3] is formed by the reaction of Ba3N2 and NbN or of Ba and Nb at 1 000°C under N2. Isostructural to Ba2[TaN3] it crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 613.2(3), b = 1 176.8(3), c = 1 322.9(4) pm, β = 91.65(2)°, Z = 8. The nitrido niobate anions form chains of corner sharing NbN4 tetrahedra with distances Nb? N between 188(1) and 199.9(9) pm.  相似文献

Ba5[CrN4]N: The First Nitridochromate(V) Ba5[CrN4]N is prepared by reaction of mixtures of Li3N, Ba3N2 and CrN/Cr2N (1 : 1) (molar ratio Li : Ba : Cr = 3 : 5 : 1) in tantalum crucibles at 700°C with flowing nitrogen (1 atm) within a period of 48 h. After cooling down to room temperature (60°C/h) black-shining single crystals of the ternary phase with a platy habit are obtained (monoclinic, C2/m; a = 1054.0(2) pm, b = 1170.9(3) pm, c = 937.7(2) pm, b? = 110,79(2)°; Z = 4). The crystal structure contains isolated complex anions [CrVN4]7? which nearly satisfy the ideal tetrahedral symmetry (Cr? N [pm]: 2 × 175.3(4), 2 × 175.8(5); N? Cr? N [°]: 106.8(2), 109.5(2), 2 × 109.9(2), 2 × 110,3(2)). The coordination sphere for each of the terminal nitride functions of the complex anions is completed by five neighbouring Ba2+ ions (distorted CrBa5 octahedra). The octahedra are connected via common CrBa2 faces as well as CrBa edges thereby forming condensed tetrameric octahedral groups. The isolated nitride ions which are also present in the crystal structure of Ba5[CrN4]N are in an octahedral environment of Ba2+ ions. The presence of a d1-System (Cr(V)) is confirmed by magnetic susceptibility data.  相似文献

Bis(tetraphenylphosphonium) hexachloridodiberyllate, (Ph4P)2[Be2Cl6], reacts with excess trimethylsilyl‐iso‐thiocyanate to give a mixture of colourless single crystals of (Ph4P)2[Be(NCS)4] ( 1 ) and (Ph4P)4[{Be2(NCS)4(μ‐NCS)2}{Be2(NCS)6(μ‐H2N2C2S2)}] ( 2 ), which can be separated by selection. Both complexes were characterized by X‐ray diffraction. Compound 1 can be prepared without by‐products by treatment of (Ph4P)2[BeCl4] with excess Me3SiNCS in dichloromethane solution. 1 : Space group I41/a, Z = 4, lattice dimensions at 100(2) K: a = b = 1091.2(1), c = 3937.1(3) pm, R1 = 0.0474. The [Be(NCS)4]2– ion of 1 forms tetragonally distorted tetrahedral anions with Be–N distances of 168.4(2) pm and weak intermolecular S ··· S contacts along [100] and [010]. 2 ·4CH2Cl2: Space group P , Z = 1, lattice dimensions at 100(2) K: a = 919.5(1), b = 1248.3(1), c = 2707.0(2) pm, α = 101.61(1) °, β = 95.08(1) °, γ = 94.52(1) °, R1 = 0.103. Compound 2 contains two different anionic complexes in the ratio 1:1. In {Be2(NCS)4(μ‐NCS)2}2–, the beryllium atoms are connected by (NCS) bridging groups forming centrosymmetric eight‐membered Be2(NCS)2 rings with distances Be–N of 168(1) pm and Be–S of 235.2(9) pm. The second anion {Be2(NCS)6(μ‐H2N2C2S2)}2– consists of two {Be(NCS)3} units, which are linked by the nitrogen atoms of the unique dimeric cyclo‐addition product of HNCS with Be–N distances of 179(1) pm.  相似文献

LiSr2[ReN4] and LiBa2[ReN4] – isotypic Nitridorhenates(VII) The quaternary nitridorhenates(VII) LiAE2[ReN4] (AE = Sr, Ba) were synthesized by reaction of the metals with molecular nitrogen at 850–900 °C. The plate‐like, nearly colourless crystals were investigated by X‐ray single crystal methods and were identified as isotypic phases: LiSr2[ReN4] (LiBa2[ReN4]); monoclinic, P21/m; a = 614.64(8) pm (651.04(12) pm), b = 585.97(6) pm (b = 598.86(9) pm), c = 689.70(17) pm (737.43(5) pm), β = 106.375(4)° (108.535(2)°); Z = 2. Crystals of the strontium compound were systematically twinned along [001]. In the crystal structures of the quaternary compounds the alkaline earth‐ and nitride‐ ions are arranged in the motif of the InNi2‐type structure. Strontium and barium are in a trigonal prismatic coordination by nitrogen (Sr–N: 261.0(7)–284.3(4) pm; Ba–N: 278.0(7)–303.0(6) pm). One half of the tetrahedral voids within the partial structure formed by stacking of trigonal prismatic rod layers is occupied by rhenium (formation of [ReVIIN4]5–‐tetrahedra; Re–N: 181.0(6)–184.5(8) pm), lithium takes the positions of the remaining tetrahedral sites (Li–N: 2 × 198(1) pm, 224(2) pm and 228(2) pm for the strontium phase). In the barium compound the lithium positions show a larger shift from the tetrahedral centres towards a tetrahedral plane (Li–N: 2 × 195(1) pm, 213(2) pm and 304(2) pm).  相似文献

Tetra(N‐methylimidazole)‐beryllium‐di‐iodide, [Be(Me‐Im)4]I2 ( 1 ), was prepared from beryllium powder and iodine in N‐methylimidazole suspension to give yellow single crystal plates, which were characterized by X‐ray diffraction and IR spectroscopy. Compound 1 crystallizes tetragonally in the space group I 2d with four formula units per unit cell. Lattice dimensions at 100(2) K: a = b = 1784.9(1), c = 696.2(1) pm, R1 = 0.0238. The structure consists of homoleptic dications [Be(Me‐Im)4]2+ with short Be–N distances of 170.3(3) pm and iodide ions with weak interionic C–H ··· I contacts. Experiments to yield crystalline products from reactions of N‐methylimidazole with BeCl2 and (Ph4P)2[Be2Cl6], respectively, in dichloromethane solutions were unsuccessful. However, single crystals of [Be3(μ‐OH)3(Me‐Im)6]Cl3 ( 2 ) were obtained from these solutions in the presence of moisture air. According to X‐ray diffraction studies, two different crystal individuals ( 2a and 2b ) result, depending on the starting materials BeCl2 and (Ph4P)2[Be2Cl6], respectively [ 2a : Space group P21/n, Z = 4; 2b : Space group P , Z = 2]. As a side‐product from the reaction of N‐methylimidazole with (Ph4P)2[Be2Cl6] single crystals of (Ph4P)Cl·CH2Cl2 ( 3 ) were identified crystallographically (P21/n, Z = 4) which are isotypical with the corresponding known bromide (Ph4P)Br·CH2Cl2.  相似文献

Ba[CoN]: A Low-Valency Nitridocobaltate with Angled Chains [CoN2/22?] Ba[CoN] is prepared by reaction of barium and cobalt (molar ratio Ba : Co = 1 : 2.5) in tantalum crucibles at 870°C with flowing nitrogen (1 atm) within a period of 96 h. After cooling down to room temperature (24°C/h) black single crystals of the ternary phase with a platy habit are obtained (orthorhombic, Pnma; a = 959.9(2) pm, b = 2 351.0(3) pm, c = 547.6(2) pm; Z = 20). The crystal structure of Ba[CoN] contains angled (planar) chains [CoN2/22?] which run along the [010]-direction (N? Co? N[°]: 178.5(5), 179.6(6), 180.0; Co? N? Co[°]: 82.9(6), 84.2(5), 177.1(8); Co? N[pm]: 174.6(12), 177.2(12), 181.9(13), 184.3(13), 187.1(12)). Nitrogen is in an octahedral coordination (N Ba4Co2) and is arranged in a distorted cubic close packing. Barium occupies one half of the tetrahedral holes (Ba? N[pm]: 274.8(16) ? 308.2(12)). The cis-positions of the Co-atoms at the nitrogen coordination-octahedra cause short Co? Co contacts within the chains [CoN2/22?]. Through this, Co2-units (Co? Co[pm]: 247.8(4); bridged by nitrogen) and linear Co3-groups (Co? Co [pm]: 245.5(2); Co? Co? Co[°]: 180.0; bridged by nitrogen) alternate along the chains. The crystal structure of Ba[CoN] is closely related to the Ba[NiN] type structure.  相似文献

The Be atoms of these units are additionally bridged by two μ‐Cl atoms. 1 is also obtained by reaction of (Ph4P)2[Be2Cl6] with Baysilon grease.  相似文献

Polymeric, Band Shaped Tellurium Cations in the Structures of the Chloroberyllate Te7[Be2Cl6] and the Chlorobismutate (Te4)(Te10)[Bi4Cl16] Te7[Be2Cl6] is obtained at 250 °C in an eutectic Na2[BeCl4] / BeCl2 melt from Te, TeCl4 und BeCl2 in form of black crystals, which are sensitive towards hydrolysis in moist air. (Te4) (Te10)[Bi4Cl16] is prepared from Te, TeCl4 und BiCl3 by chemical vapour transport in sealed evacuated glass ampoules in a temperature gradient 150 ° → 90 °Cin form of needle shaped crystals with a silver lustre. The structures of both compounds were determined based on single crystal X‐ray diffraction data (Te7[Be2Cl6]: orthorhombic, Pnnm, Z = 2, a = 541.60(3), b = 974.79(6), c = 1664.4(1) pm; (Te4)(Te10)[Bi4Cl16]: triclinic, P1¯, Z = 2, a = 547.2(3), b = 1321.1(7), c = 1490(1) pm, α = 102.09(5)°, β = 95.05(5)°, γ = 96.69(4)°). The structure of Te7[Be2Cl6] consists of one‐dimensional polymeric cations (Te72+)n which form folded bands and of discrete [Be2Cl6]2— anions which form double tetrahedraconnected by a common edge. By a different way of folding compared with the cations present in the structures of Te7[MOX4]X (M = Nb, W; X = Cl, Br) the (Te72+)n cation in Te7[Be2Cl6]represents a new, isomeric form. The structure of (Te4)(Te10)[Bi4Cl16] contains two different polymeric cations. (Te102+)n consists of planar Te10 groups in the form of three corner‐sharing Te4 rings connected to folded bands. (Te42+)n forms in contrast to the so far notoriously observed discrete, square‐planar E42+ ions a chain of rectangular planar Te4 rings (Te—Te 274 and 281 pm) connected by Te‐Te bonds of 297 pm. [Bi4Cl16]4— has a complex one‐dimensional structure of edge‐ and corner‐sharing BiCl7 units.  相似文献

Single crystals of [Be33‐O)3(MeCN)6{Be(MeCN)3}3](I)6·4CH3CN ( 1 ·4CH3CN) were obtained in low yield by the reaction of beryllium powder with iodine in acetonitrile suspension, which probably result from traces of beryllium oxide containing the applied beryllium metal. The compound 1 ·4CH3CN forms moisture sensitive, colourless crystal needles, which were characterized by IR spectroscopy and X‐ray diffraction (Space group Pnma, Z = 4, lattice dimensions at 100(2) K: a = 2317.4(1), b = 2491.4(1), c = 1190.6(1) pm, R1 = 0.0315). The hexaiodide complex cation 1 6+consists of a cyclo‐Be3O3 core with slightly distorted chair conformation, stabilized by coordination of two acetonitrile ligands at each of the beryllium atoms and by a {Be(CH3CN)3}2+ cation at each of the oxygen atoms. This unique coordination behaviour results in coplanar OBe3 units with short Be–O distances of 155.0 pm and 153.6 pm on average of bond lengths within the cyclo‐Be3O3 unit and of the peripheric BeO bonds, respectively. Exposure of compound 1 ·4CH3CN to moist air leads to small orange crystal plates of [Be(H2O)4]I2·2CH3CN ( 3 ·2CH3CN). According to the crystal structure determination (Space group C2/c, Z = 4, lattice dimensions at 100(2) K: a = 1220.7(1), b = 735.0(1), c = 1608.5(1) pm, β = 97.97(1)°, R1 = 0.0394), all hydrogen atoms of the dication [Be(H2O)4]2+ are involved to form O–H ··· N and O–H ··· I hydrogen bonds with the acetonitrile molecules and the iodide ions, respectively. Quantum chemical calculations (B3LYP/6‐311+G**) at the model [Be33‐O)3(HCN)6{Be(HCN)3}3]6+ show that chair and boat conformation are stable and that the distorted chair conformation is stabilized by packing effects.  相似文献

Ca5[Si2N6] is monoclinic C2/c with a = 983.6(2) pm, b = 605.2(1) pm, c = 1275.7(3), β = 100.20(3)° and Z = 4 crystallising homotypically to Ba5[Si2N6]. The crystal structure contains pairs of edgesharing SiN4 tetrahedra forming isolated nitridosilicate anions of [Si2N6]10?. Azido Beryllates with Adamantan‐like Structures: Synthesis, IR Spectra, and Crystal Structures of (Ph4P)2[Be4X4(μ‐N3)6] (X = Cl, Br) The azido beryllates (Ph4P)2[Be4X4(μ‐N3)6] (X = Cl 1a , X = Br 1b ) have been prepared by the reaction of Me3SiN3 with the halogeno beryllates (Ph4P)2[Be2Cl6] and (Ph4P)2[Be2Br6], respectively, in CH2Cl2 and CH2Br2 solution, respectively. Both complexes form moisture sensitive, colourless crystals, which are nonexplosive with respect to mechanical or thermal stress. They are characterized by IR spectroscopy and by crystal structure determinations. 1a and 1b crystallize isotypically in the space group C2/c with 12 formula units per unit cell. Whereas 1a was only refined to R1 = 0.13, which is caused by disordering, 1b could be refined to R1 = 0.066. The structures contain adamantanlike dianions [Be4X4(μ‐N3)6]2— with two symmetry nonequivalent individuals which differ only slightly from one another. The Be4N6 core is formed by bridging function of the α‐nitrogen atoms of the azide groups with BeN bond lengths of 172.5 and bond lengths Nα—Nβ = 123.2 pm and Nβ—Nγ = 113.1 pm on average in the structure of 1b .  相似文献

Preparation, Crystal Structure, Thermal Decomposition, and Vibrational Spectra of [Co(NH3)6]2[Be4O(CO3)6] · 10 H2O [Co(NH3)6]2[Be4O(CO3)6] · 10 H2O is a suitable compound for the quantitative determination of beryllium. It can be obtained by reaction of aqueous solutions of carbonatoberyllate with [Co(NH3)6]Cl3. The crystal structure (trigonal‐rhombohedral, R3c (Nr. 161), a = 1071,6(1) pm, c = 5549,4(9) pm, VEZ = 5519(1) · 106 pm3, Z = 6, R1(I ≥ 2σ(I)) = 0,037, wR2(I ≥ 2σ(I)) = 0,094) contains [Co(NH3)6]3+‐ and [Be4O(CO3)6]6–‐ions, which are directly hydrogen bonded as well as with water molecules. The complex cations and anions occupy the positions of a distorted anti‐CaF2‐type. The thermal decomposition, IR and Raman spectra are presented and discussed.  相似文献

The transparent dark orange compounds Cs2[Pd(N3)4] and Rb2[Pd(N3)42/3H2O are synthesized by reaction of the respective binary alkali metal azides with K2PdCl4 in aqueous solutions. According to single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction investigations, the novel ternary azidopalladates(II) crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/c (no. 14) with a = 705.7(2) pm, b = 717.3(2) pm, c = 1125.2(5) pm, β = 104.58(2)°, mP30 for Cs2[Pd(N3)4] and a = 1041.4(1) pm, b = 1292.9(2) pm, c = 1198.7(1) pm, β = 91.93(1)°, mP102 for Rb2[Pd(N3)42/3H2O, respectively. Predominant structural features of both compounds are discrete [PdII(N3)4]2– anions with palladium in a planar coordination by nitrogen, but differing in point group symmetries., The vibrational spectra of the compounds are analyzed based on the idealized point group C4h of the spectroscopically relevant unit, [Pd(N3)4]2– taking into account the site symmetry splitting due to the symmetry reduction in the solid phase.  相似文献

On Reactions of Hexachlorodiberyllate with Trimethylsilyl‐N‐dimethylamide. Crystal Structures of (Ph4P)3[Be2Cl5(OSiMe3)][BeCl3(Me2NSiMe3)], (Ph4P)[BeCl3(HNMe2)], and (Ph4P)(H2NMe2)[BeCl4] Reactions of bis‐tetraphenylphosphonium hexachlorodiberyllate, (Ph4P)2[Be2Cl6], with trimethylsilyl‐N‐dimethylamide under different conditions lead to the novel chloroberyllate derivatives (Ph4P)3[Be2Cl5(OSiMe3)][BeCl3(Me2NSiMe3)] ( 1 ), (Ph4P)[BeCl3(HNMe2)] ( 2 ), and (Ph4P)(H2NMe2)[BeCl4] ( 3 ). 1 ‐ 3 were characterized by IR spectroscopy and crystal structure determinations. 1· 4CH2Cl2: Space group P1¯, Z = 2, lattice dimensions at 193 K: a = 1115.6(1), b = 2110.7(2), c = 2145.0(3) pm, α = 71.38(1)°, β = 85.66(1)°, γ = 85.24(1)°, R1 = 0.0732. The [Be2Cl5(OSiMe3)]2— ion in the structure of 1 is derived from the [Be2Cl6]2— ion by substitution of a μ‐Cl ligand by the oxygen atom of the (OSiMe3) group. The second anion, [BeCl3(Me2NSiMe3)], can be described as donor acceptor complex with a short Be—N bond of 179(1) pm. 2 : Space group P1¯, Z = 2, lattice dimensions at 193 K: a = 1063.1(1), b = 1072.0(1), c = 1238.3(1) pm, α = 87.55(1)°, β = 74.86(1)°, γ = 69.73(1)°, R1 = 0.0299. The anion of 2 forms a centrosymmetric dimer [BeCl3(HNMe2)]22— via N—H···Cl bridges of the two donor acceptor complex units with Be—N separations of 175.2(2) pm. 3 : Space group Pbca, Z = 8, lattice dimensions at 193 K: a = 926.9(1), b = 2164.7(1), c = 2732.7(1) pm, R1 = 0.0495. The structure of 3 contains centrosymmetric ion quadrupoles [(Me2NH2)(BeCl4)]22— forming by N—H···Cl bridges between (Me2NH2)+ and [BeCl4]2— ions.  相似文献
