We fit the scattering lengths in the triplets-,p- andd- waves for the two channels \(\bar pp \to \bar \Lambda \Lambda\) and \(\bar \Lambda \Lambda \to \bar \Lambda \Lambda\) near theΛ production threshold to the differential cross section \(\frac{{d\sigma }}{{d\Omega }}(\bar pp \to \bar \Lambda \Lambda )\) and to the polarization P.  相似文献

We study the reactions J/ψ → $ \bar \Lambda $ K - p and J/ψ → $ \bar \Lambda $ π+π-Λ with a unitary chiral approach. We predict the ratio of the invariant-mass distributions of these two reactions at the Λ(1520) peak position, which is free of the unknown production mechanism and reflects only the properties of the Λ(1520) . An experimental measurement of this ratio will provide the couplings of the Λ(1520) to its decay channels, allowing to test the predictions of the chiral unitary approach on this resonance, which appears as dynamically generated in that approach.  相似文献

The measurement of parity-violating (PV) observables in few-nucleon system can shed light on our current understanding of the weak interaction between nucleons.Theoretical models describe the nucleonnucleon weak interaction at low energies use a series of undetermined parameters. Two parity violating measurements have been considered: the capture of polarized slow neutrons on hydrogen (n + p → d + γ) at Los Alamos National Laboratory for first phase and Oka Ridge National Laboratory for second phase and the helicity dependence of the deuteron photodisintegration cross section using circularly polarized photons (γ + d → n + p) at Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics. The goal of both experiments is to constraint the weak meson-nucleon couplings to a precision of 1 ×10-8 .The introduction of both experiments is presented.  相似文献

An experiment on the radiative {+}-meson photoproduction from the proton ( p {+}n) was carried out at the Mainz Microtron MAMI in the kinematic region 537MeV < E < 817MeV, 140° 180°. The {+}-meson polarizabilities have been determined from a comparison of the data with the predictions of two different theoretical models, the first one being based on an effective pole model with pseudoscalar coupling while the second one is based on diagrams describing both resonant and nonresonant contributions. The validity of the models has been verified by comparing the predictions with the present experimental data in the kinematic region where the pion polarizability contribution is negligible ( s1 < 5m2) and where the difference between the predictions of the two models does not exceed 3%. In the region, where the pion polarizability contribution is substantial ( 5 < s1/m2 < 15, -12 < t/m2 < - 2), the difference of the electric () and the magnetic () polarizabilities has been determined. As a result we find . This result is at variance with recent calculations in the framework of chiral perturbation theory.  相似文献

The implications of the model with a SU(2)-singlet up-type quark, heavy enough not to be produced at the LHC, namely, the contribution of the new quark to the branching ratios of the K → πν $ \bar \nu $ , B → πν $ \bar \nu $ , and BKν $ \bar \nu $ decays are investigated. It is shown that the deviation from the Standard Model can be up to 10% in the case of a 5-TeV quark. Precise measurements of these branching ratios in future experiments will allow for the observation of the contributions of the new quark or to impose stronger constraints on its mass.  相似文献

The polarization observables Σ,P y ,T 1,P y ,P y are derived in proton polarization measurements of the \(\vec \gamma d \to \vec pn\) reaction, using a linearly polarized photon beam of energies between 300 and 600 MeV for c.m.s. proton emission angles of 90° and 120°. A multipole analysis is performed in the framework of the gauge-invariant pole model considering theγN→πN amplitudes and the deuteron structure without dibaryon resonances and with different sets of isovector and isoscalar dibaryon resonances. It is shown that the inclusion of dibaryon resonances substantially improves agreement with experimental data.  相似文献

The rate of the decay of the neutral K meson into K L 0 μμγ has been measured with the NA48 detector at the CERN SPS. A total of 59 events has been observed with an estimated background of 14 events. The overall Kaon flux was determined to be 1.2 × 109. This observation corresponds to a branching ratio of (3.4 ± 0.6stat ± 0.4sys × 10-7. Using this branching ratio the parameter αK* describing the relative strength of the two contributing amplitudes to this decay, through intermediate pseudoscalar or vectorlike mesons, was measured to be αK* = -0.04+ -0.21 +0.24 .  相似文献

The measurement of the forward-backward asymmetry A FB and the effective weak mixing angle with the Drell-Yan process at the LHC is presented. The samples of 2011 collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5 fb?1 and 1.1 fb?1, were used. The results are consistent with the standard model expectations.  相似文献

The reactions pK + and pK + 0 have been measured with the multiparticle detector system SAPHIR at ELSA in Bonn. Besides the differential cross sections the polarization and, for the first time, the 0 polarization have been determined in a photon induced reaction. All data are presented as functions of the photon energy (from threshold up to 1.47 GeV) and of the kaon production angle (0°–180°). The polarization of both and 0 is substantial at all energies and varies strongly with the production angle. This work is supported by the Bundesminister für Forschung und Technologie (BMFT), FK 06 BN 621 I  相似文献

The single-spin asymmetry A N in the reaction π ? + d π 0 + X in the beam-fragmentation region at the energy of 40 GeV was investigated by using the PROZA setup installed at the U-70 accelerator of the Institute for High Energy Physics (IHEP, Protvino). It was measured to be A N = (13.6 ± 2.6(stat.) ± 2.0(syst.))% in the intervals 0.7 < x F < 1.0 and 1.0 < p T < 1.8 GeV/c. The results agree with the asymmetry of π 0 mesons in the charge-exchange reaction π ? + p π 0 + n at the same values of the transverse momentum and beam energy. The asymmetry in the reaction K ? + d π 0 + X was simultaneously measured and found to be A N = (11 ± 14)% for p T > 1.2 GeV/c.  相似文献

The effect of pion-nucleon and nucleon-nucleon rescatterings on polarization observables of the reaction γdppπ? are calculated in the delta-isobar region. Pion-nucleon and nucleon-nucleon rescatterings are considered on the basis of a diagrammatic approach. Lorentz invariant expressions are used for the operators of photoproduction and of pion scattering on a free nucleon. A unitarization procedure in the K-matrix approximation is used for resonance partial-wave amplitudes. It is shown that, in the delta-resonance region, rescattering has a sizable effect on polarization observables of the reaction γdppπ? at high momenta of final protons.  相似文献

The reaction pp + η has been measured at a beam energy of T p = 2.65 GeV (p p = 3.46 GeV/c) using the ANKE spectrometer at COSY-Julich. The missing-mass distribution of the detected + pairs exhibits a peak around the η mass on top of a strong background of multipion pp +() events. The differential cross section d 4 σ/dΩd dΩ π + dp d dp π + for the reaction pp + η has been determined model independently for two regions of phase space. Employing a dynamical model for the a 0 + production allows one then to deduce a total cross section of σ(ppda 0 + + η) = 1.1 ± 0.3stat ± 0.7syst μb for the production of π + η via the scalar a 0 + (980) resonance and σ(pp + η) = 3.5 ± 0.3stat ± 1.0syst μb for the nonresonant production. Using the same model as for the interpretation of recent results from ANKE for the reaction , the ratio of the total cross sections is , which is in agreement with branching ratios in the literature. The reaction p K0+ was measured in the photon energy range from threshold up to 2.6 GeV with the SAPHIR detector at the electron stretcher facility, ELSA, in Bonn. Results are presented on the reaction cross-section and the polarization of the + as a function of the kaon production angle in the centre-of-mass system, cosc.m.K, and the photon energy. The cross-section is lower and varies less with photon energy and kaon production angle than that of p K+0. The + is polarized predominantly at cosc.m.K 0. The data presented here are more precise than previous ones obtained with SAPHIR and extend the photon energy range to higher values. They are compared to isobar model calculations.  相似文献

Taking into account the n interaction, a nonrelativistic graphical technique is used to calculate the differential cross section of the reaction d K+ n as a function of photon energy, K+-momentum, and angle of emission of the K+. The kinematic region in which variation of the n-scattering parameters gives the most noticeable effect is separated out.Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Fizika, No. 8, pp. 104–106, August, 1978.The author thanks G. Contributions from the semi-exclusive channels γd → π± NN + π0 d and γd → π0 X (X=pn or d) to the deuteron spin asymmetry and the Gerasimov-Drell-Hearn (GDH) integral are explicitly evaluated using an enhanced elementary pion photoproduction operator and a realistic, high-precision potential model for the deuteron wave function. The sensitivity of the results to the elementary pion photoproduction operator is also investigated and considerable dependence is found. Results for the deuteron GDH integral are compared with the measurements from A2 and GDH@MAMI Collaborations.  相似文献
