This paper presents a study of a recent solution to Maxwell's equation, the so-called “Frozen Waves”, whose main characteristics are to remain static in space, and to keep an arbitrary longitudinal field pattern previously chosen. These waves could be obtained by an adequate, but discrete, superposition of monochromatic Bessel beams. Contrary to that, we have here proposed a new way to get these waves through a continuous superposition of Bessel beams, and discussed some physical aspects and then exemplified for both loss and lossless media.  相似文献

The propagation properties of Bessel beam is a meaningful research. In this paper, based on the expanding the hard-edged circular aperture as a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions and the scalar diffraction theory, an approximate analytical solution for Bessel beam propagating through a fractional Fourier transform system is derived in the cylindrical coordinates. Then, the detailed numerical calculation for Bessel beam is presented. The simulation also shows that the beam parameter and the order of fractional Fourier transform result in the change of field distribution, including location, intensity and width.  相似文献

The physical optics surface integral is asymptotically reduced to a line integral along the contour of the diffracting edge. It is shown that the resultant integral can be separated into two sub-integrals which represent the reflected and transmitted diffracted fields. By means of an extended mapping approach and a linear variable separation approach, a new family of exact solutions of the (3+1)-dimensional Jimbo-Miwa system is derived. 利用严格傅里叶模式理论研究了不同基底折射率、入射角度、归一化周期、归一化沟槽深度对正弦型光栅微结构衍射效率的影响,并分析了该光栅的衍射特性.基于标量衍射理论和等效介质理论,分别计算了光栅周期远远大于和远远小于入射波长时,正弦型光栅的衍射效率,并与傅里叶模式理论的计算结果进行比较,分析标量衍射理论和等效介质理论的有效性.结果表明:在垂直入射条件下,当光栅基质材料折射率为1.5时,标量衍射理论在光栅归一化周期大于5时,能够准确计算光栅衍射效率,误差小于3%;当基底折射率增大到3.42时,只有在光栅归一化周期大于10时,标量衍射理论才有效,误差小于5%;当正弦型光栅透射光中只有0级衍射光传播时,等效介质理论能够准确计算其透射率;随着入射角度的增大,标量衍射理论和等效介质理论的有效性都不同程度地降低.  相似文献

The physical optics integral of the scattered waves by an impedance strip is derived by using the modified theory of physical optics. The surface currents of the physical optics integral, which was introduced for the scattered waves by an impedance half-plane, are taken into account. The uniform diffracted fields of the impedance strip are evaluated asymptotically. The second order diffraction terms are also obtained. The total scattered field and its subcomponents are plotted and the effect of the second order diffraction and strip width to the scattering is investigated numerically.  相似文献

Energy propagation in random viscoelastic media is considered in this Letter. The forced response of uncertain waveguide subject to time harmonic loading is treated. This energy model is based on a spectral approach called the “Stochastic Wave Finite Element” (SWFE) method which is detailed in this Letter. Assuming that the random properties are spatially homogeneous in the media, the SWFE is a hybridization of the deterministic wave finite element and a parametric probabilistic approach. The proposed model is applicable in a wide frequency band with reduced time consumption. Numerical examples show the effectiveness of the proposed approach to predict the statistics of kinematic and quadratic variables of guided wave propagation. The results are compared to Monte Carlo simulations.  相似文献

以角谱传播理论和分数傅里叶变换(FRFT)的单透镜和双透镜光学实现单元为理论基础,提出了一种基于实际光学结构的光学FRFT的数值模拟算法,推导了该算法中采样间隔的选取方法,并利用Matlab语言编写了相应的处理程序,将该程序对方孔分数傅里叶变换的计算结果与实际实验结果相比较,结果表明该算法是实际光学结构在理想情况下的模拟,因此,该数值计算在一定程度上可以代替柱面镜对光场实现分数傅里叶变换,也可以为实际实验提供很好的参考和指导。  相似文献

We develop a perturbation theory formalism for the theory of the Fermi surface in a Fermi liquid of particles interacting via a bounded short-range repulsive pair potential. The formalism is based on the renormalization group and provides a formal expansion of the large-distance Schwinger functions in terms of a family of running couplings consisting of one- and two-body quasiparticle potentials. The flow of the running couplings is described in terms of a beta function, which is studied to all orders of perturbation theory and shown to obey, in thenth order,n! bounds. The flow equations are written in general dimensiond1 for the spinless case (for simplicity). The picture that emerges is that on a large scale the system looks like a system of fermions interacting via a-like interaction potential (i.e., a potential approaching 0 everywhere except at the origin, where it diverges, although keeping the integral bounded); the theory is not asymptotically free in the usual sense and the freedom mechanism is thus more delicate than usual: the technical problem of dealing with unbounded effective potentials is solved by introducing a mathematically precise notion ofquasiparticles, which turn out to be natural objects with finite interaction even when the physical potential diverges as a deltalike function. A remarkable kind of gauge symmetry is associated with the quasiparticles. To substantiate the analogy with the quasiparticle theory we discuss the mean field theory using our notion of quasiparticles: the resulting self-consistency relations are closely reminiscent of those of the BCS model. The formalism seems suited for a joint theory of normal states of Fermi liquids and of BCS states: the first are associated with the trivial fixed point of our flow or with nearby nontrivial fixed points (or invariant sets) and the second may naturally correspond to really nontrivial fixed points (which may nevertheless turn out to be accessible to analysis because the BCS state is a quasi free state, hence quite simple, unlike the nontrivial fixed points of field theory). Thed=1 case is deeply different from thed> 1 case, for our spinless fermions: we can treat it essentially completely for small coupling. The system is not asymptotically free and presents anomalous renormalization group flow with a vanishing beta function, and the discontinuity of the occupation number at the Fermi surface is smoothed by the interaction (remaining singular with a coupling-dependent singularity of power type with exponent identified with the anomalous dimension). Finally, we present a heuristic discussion of the theory for the flow of the running coupling constants in spinlessd> 1 systems: their structure is simplified further and the relevant part of the running interaction is precisely the interaction between pairs of quasiparticles which we identify with the Cooper pairs of superconductivity. The formal perturbation theory seems to have a chance to work only if the interaction between the Cooper pairs is repulsive: and to second order we show that in the spin-0 case this happens if the physical potential is repulsive. Our results indicate the possibility of the existence of a normal Fermi surface only if the interaction is repulsive.  相似文献

Porous metal oxides with a large surface area are synthesised by means of a procedure based on the templating approach. An inexpensive porous silica xerogel synthesised at moderate temperatures (∼100 °C) in order to preserve the silanol superficial groups was used as template. In a first step, the silica porosity was filled with a concentrated solution containing a metallic salt. Then, the impregnated sample was calcined in air at a temperature of 600 °C. Under these conditions, the metal oxides were synthesised within the confined space provided by the silica pores. Finally, the product was recovered after dissolution of the silica framework in 2 M NaOH solution. The materials obtained by this procedure are made up of aggregates of nanoparticles and/or 3D solid structures containing confined pores. In this work, the synthetic route proposed is illustrated by the preparation of various binary metal oxides (i.e. Fe2O3, Cr2O3, NiO, CeO2, Mn2O3, Co2O3 and Al2O3). The BET surface areas measured for these materials are in the range of 100-270 m2 g−1. The proposed method is not restricted to the binary metal oxides. It can also be used in the preparation of other inorganic materials such as metal sulphides or mixed metal oxides.  相似文献

The improved PML absorbing boundary condition have been introduced in this paper. The reflection coefficient of the absorbing boundary condition is less than the reflection coefficient of Berenger's PML algorithm. And in order to validate the theory and its effectiveness, We have applied the absorbing boundary condition to the calculation of microwave and millimeter waves circuit and get its reflection coefficient S 11. ABSTRACT

With the aim of systematically comparing two popular approaches to density functional theory – all-electron calculations with local basis sets, and periodic calculations employing plane wave basis sets and norm-conserving pseudopotentials – we have computed complete-basis binding energies across the S22 set of intermolecular interactions, a dataset consisting of noncovalent interactions of small- and medium-sized molecules containing first- and second-row atoms, using the Troullier-Martins norm-conserving pseudopotentials with SPW92, a local spin-density approximation; and PBE, a generalised gradient approximation. We have found that it is challenging to reach the basis set limit with these periodic calculations; for the methods and systems examined, a minimum vacuum distance of 30?Å between a system and its nearest images is necessary – unless some form of dipole correction is employed – as is a kinetic energy cutoff of at least 80 Ry. The trends in convergence with respect to vacuum size and kinetic energy cutoff are largely independent of the level of density functional approximation employed. A sense of the impact of each hyperparameter on basis set error provides a foundation for ensuring quality calculations in future studies and allows us to quantify the basis set errors incurred in existing studies on similar systems.  相似文献

The condition of positive normal pressures must hold for all solutions in the kinetic theory, but is violated by the Navier-Stokes equations for sufficiently high distortions. A dimensionless measure of this discrepancy is furnished by the tension number. In order for all pressures to be positive, it is necessary and sufficient that the tension number be less than 1.
