We propose an experimentally feasible scheme to realize the nonlocal gate between two different nodes of a quantum network. With an entanglement-qubit acts as a quantum channel, our scheme is resist to actual environment noise and can get a high fidelity in current cavity quantum electrodynamics (C-QED) system.  相似文献

A scheme is proposed to implement a universal quantum cloning machine with atoms trapped in an optical cavity. In the scheme the atoms are always populated in the two ground states and the cavity remains in the vacuum state. We study the effects of electron-phonon interaction on the electron ground state in a symmetric triangular quantum well, and calculate the ground state energy of an electron in the GaAs/Al0.96Ga0.04As triangular quantum well including the effects of the interaction between electrons and confined LO phonons by using a modified Lee-Low-Pines variational method. The electron wavefunction in the triangular well is chosen as the Airy function. The numerical results are given and discussed.  相似文献

We report a new type of photonic memory cell based on a semiconductor quantum dot (QD)--quantum well (QW) hybrid structure, in which photo-generated excitons can be decomposed into separated electrons and holes, and stored in QW and QDs respectively. Storage and retrieval of photonic signals are verified by time-resolved photoluminescence experiments. A storage time in excess of l00ms has been obtained at a temperature of 10K while the switching speed reaches the order of ten megahertz.  相似文献

The effect of strong exciton-phonon interaction on the excitonic Rabi oscillations in a coherently driven quantum dot in a high-Q single mode cavity is investigated theoretically. We show that the Rabi oscillation of exciton dressed by phonons can persists with the Rabi frequency ge^-λ/2 at absolute zero temperature, where g is the single-photon Rabi frequency and λ is the Huang-Rhys factor. The results also present that such coherent oscillations can be modified by manipulating the Rabi frequency of the driving field.  相似文献

We study the energy levels of an electron (or hole) polaron in a parabolic quantum well structure,including the spatial dependence of the effective mass.We also consider the two-mode behaviour of longitudinal optical phonon modes of the ternary mixed crystals in the structure,in the calculation of the effect of the electron phonon interaction.We calculate the ground state,the first excited state and the transition energy of an electron (or hole) in the GaAs/AlxGa1-xAs parabolic quantum well structure.The numerical results show that the electron-phonon interaction obviously affects the energy levels of the electron (or hole),which are in agreement with experimental results.  相似文献

Low-lying states of a vertically coupled three-layer quantum-dot system are studied.Each layer contains one electron,and the tunnelling of electrons between layers is neglected.Effects of the interlayer separation d and the external magnetic field B are evaluated by numerical calculations.In the strong coupling case (i.e.d is small),as in a single dot,transitions of the angular momentum L of the true ground states occur when B increases, whereas in the weak coupling case the transition does not occur and L remains zero.Furthermore,it is found that the variation of d may also induce the L transition.As a result,a phase diagram of L of the true ground state is given in the d-B plane.  相似文献

We investigate theoretically the combination effect of an in-plane magnetic field and spin-orbit interactions (SOIs) on the spin and charge transport property of a quasi-one-dimensional quantum wire embedded in the (110) crystallographic plane. We find that the oscillations of the conductance induced by the SOIs become more significant and different for the spin-up and spin-down electrons in the presence of the in-plane magnetic field. The conductance exhibits a significant anisotropic behavior and electrons exhibit out-of-plane spin polarization which can be tuned by an in-plane magnetic field. These features offer us an efficient way to control SOI-induced spin transport using in-plane magnetic fields.  相似文献

Recent studies have indicated that spin polarization of the conductance shows strong osicllation and zero average for electrons resonant tunnelling throught a magnetic double-barrier and double-well quantum structure.Our studies indicate that strong oscillation of the polarization of the conductance is not physically intrinsic but inaccurate due to problems of numeration and insufficient numerical accuracy.We also indicate that its average of the spin polarization is not zero.The reasonable explanation is presented in details.  相似文献

We investigate the effect of the position of the donor in quantum dots on the energy spectrum in the presence of a perpendicular magnetic field by using the method of few-body physics,As a function of the magnetic field,we find,when D^- centers are placed sufficiently off-center,discontinuous ground-state transitions which are similar to those found in many-electron parabolic quantum dots.Series of magic numbers of angular momentum which minimize the ground-state electron-electron interaction energy have been discovered.The dependence of the binding energy of the gound-state of the D^- center on the dot radius for a few values of the magnetic field strength is obtained and compared with other results.  相似文献

The influence of the electron-phonon coupling of the energy of low-lying states of the barrier D^- center,which consists of a positive ion located on the z-azis at a distance from the two-dimensional quantum dot plane and two electrons in the dot plane bound by the ion,is investigated at arbitrary strength of maguetic field by mading use of the method of few-body physics.Discontinuous ground-state energy transitions induced by the magnetic field are reported.The dependence of the binding energy of the D^- ground state on the quantum dot radius is obtained.A considerable enhancement of the binding is found for the D^- ground state,which results from the confinement of electrons and electron-phonon coupling.  相似文献

We have studied a two-electron quantum dot molecule in a magnetic field. The electron interaction is treated accurately by the direct diagonalization of the Hamiltonian matrix. We calculate two lowest energy levels of the two-electron quantum dot molecule in a magnetic field. Our results show that the electron interactions are significant, as they can change the total spin of the two-electron ground state of the system by adjusting the magnetic field between S = 0 and S = 1. The energy difference AE between the lowest S = 0 and S = 1 states is shown as a function of the axial magnetic field. We found that the energy difference between the lowest S = 0 and S = 1 states in the strong-B S = 0 state varies linearly. Our results provide a possible realization for a qubit to be fabricated by current growth techniques.  相似文献

We investigate the transient phenomenon or property of the propagation of an optical probe field in a medium consisting of many A-type three-level atoms coupled to this probe field and a classical driven field. We observe a hidden symmetry and obtain an exact solution for this light propagation problem by means of the spectral generating method. This solution enlightens us to propose a practical protocol implementing the quantum memory robust for quantum decoherence in a crystal. As a transient dynamic process this solution also manifests an exotic result that a wave-packet of light will split into three packets propagating at different group velocities. It is argued that “super-luminal group velocity” and “sub-luminal group velocity” can be observed simultaneously in the same system. This interesting phenomenon is expected to be demonstrated experimentally.  相似文献

We investigate the dynamics of two interaction electrons confined to one-dimensional quantum dot array in an ac electric field.We find that initially localized electrons will remain localized in the absence of coulomb interaction if the ratio of the ac field magnitude to the frequency is a root of the ordinary zero-order Bessel function.In contrast to the case without Coulomb interaction,no matter what the value is,the electrons are delocalized and the delocalization effect depends on the ratio U/ω and eaE/ω,where U is the strength of Coulomb interaction,a is the lattice constant,and E and ω are the ac field amplitude and frequency,respectively.  相似文献

We study few-electron semiconductor quantum dots using the unrestricted Hartree-Fock-Roothaan method hased on the Gaussian basis.Our emphasis is on the energy level calculation for quantum dots.The confinement potential in a quantum dot is assumed to be in a form of three-dimensional spherical finite potential well.Some valuable results,such as the rearrangement of the energy level,have been obtained.  相似文献

The effects of electron-phonon interaction on energy levels of a polaron in a wurtzite nitride finite parabolic quantum well (PQW) are studied by using a modified Lee-Low-Pines variational method. The ground state, first excited state, and transition energy of the polaron in the GaN/Al0.3Ga0.7N wurtzite PQW are calculated by taking account of the influence of confined LO(TO)-like phonon modes and the half-spaee LO(TO)-like phonon modes and considering the anisotropy of all kinds of phonon modes. The numerical results are given and discussed. The results show that the electron-phonon interaction strongly affects the energy levels of the polaron, and the contributions from phonons to the energy of a polaron in a wurtzite nitride PQW are greater than that in an A1GaAs PQW. This indicates that ehe electron-phonon interaction in a wurtzite nitride PQW is not negligible.  相似文献
