Within the transport model IBUU04, we investigate the double neutron/proton ratio of free nucleons taken from two reaction systems using two Sn isotopes at a beam energy of 50 MeV/nucleon and with impact parameters 2fm, 4fm and 8fm, respectively. It is found that the double neutron/proton ratio from peripheral collisions is more sensitive to the density dependence of the symmetry energy than those from mid-central and central collisions.  相似文献

Within the hadronic transport model IBUU04, we investigate the effect of density-dependent symmetry energy on double neutron/proton (n/p) ratio of free nucleons in heavy ion collisions by taking four isotopic Sn+Sn reaction systems. Especially the entrance-channel asymmetry and impact-parameter dependence of the effect of symmetry energy are discussed. It is found that in both central and semi-central collisions the sensitivity of the double n/p ratio to the density-dependent symmetry energy is more pronounced in neutron-richer systems. Our results also indicate clearly that the effect of symmetry energy is stronger in central collisions than that in semi-central collisions.  相似文献

Using the isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamical model, we systematically study the role of symme- try energy with and without momentum-dependent interactions on the global nuclear stopping. We simulate the reactions by varying the total mass of the system from 80 to 394 at different beam energies from 30 to 1000 Me V/nucleon over central and semi-central geometries. The nuclear stopping is found to be sensitive towards the momentum-dependent interactions and symmetry energy at low incident energies. The momentum-dependent interactions are found to weaken the finite size effects in nuclear stopping.  相似文献

The influence of isospin dependence of in-medium nucleon-nucleon cross sections on the nip ratios for emitted nucleons in reactions 96Zr-j-96Zr and 96Ru-j-96RH at Eb z 400 AMeV is investigated by means of an improved quantum molecular dynamics model. Our results show that the high energy part of the spectra of the n//p ratios for emitted nucleons is sensitive to the isospin dependence of in-medium nucleon-nucleon cross sections for neutron-rich reaction systems. Therefore, we propose that the nip ratio of emitted high energy nucleons in a very neutron-rich reaction system at several hundreds of AMeV can be taken as sensitive observables to constrain the isospindependence of in-medium nucleon-nucleon cross sections.  相似文献

Ternary fission in ^197Au+^197Au collisions at 15 A MeV is investigated by using the improved quantum molecular dynamical (ImQMD) model. The experimental mass distributions for each of the three fragments are reproduced for the first time without any freely adjusting parameters. The mechanisms of ternary fission in central and semicentral collisions are dynamically studied. In direct prolate ternary fission, two necks are found to be formed almost simultaneously and rupture sequentially in a very short time interval. Direct oblate ternary fission is a very rare fission event, in which three necks are formed and rupture simultaneously, forming three equally sized fragments along space-symmetric directions in the reaction plane. In sequential ternary fission a binary division is followed by another binary fission event after hundreds of fm/c.  相似文献

The threshold energies of radial flow in reactions of ^40 Ca-^40Ca and ^48Ca+ ^48Ca in central collisions are investigated within an isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamics model by using three different forms of symmetry energy. It is found that the neutron-rich system has smaller threshold energy of radial flow and this quantity depends on the form of symmetry potential. It is indicated that the threshold energy of radial flow can provide a new method to determine the symmetry energy of asymmetric nuclear matter.  相似文献

Dynamical and thermal characterizations of excited nuclear systems produced during the collisions between two heavy ions at intermediate incident energies are presented by means of a review of experimental and theoretical work performed in the last two decades. Intensity interferometry, applied to both charged particles (light particles and intermediate mass fragments) and to uncharged radiation (gamma rays and neutrons) has provided relevant information about the space-time properties of nuclear reactions. The volume, lifetime, density and relative chronology of particle emission from decaying nuclear sources have been extensively explored and have provided valuable information about the dynamics of heavy-ion collisions. Similar correlation techniques applied to coincidences between light particles and complex fragments are also presented as a tool to determine the internal excitation energy of excited primary fragments as it appears in secondary-decay phenomena.  相似文献

The dynamic, adiabatic and diabat ic entrance potentials in strongly damped reactions of ^238 U+^238 U, ^232 Th + ^250Cf are calculated and compared. The feature of the dynamical potential implies that it is possible for the composite systems to stick together for a period of time. By means of the improved quantum molecular dynamics model the time evolution of the density and charge distributions of giant composite systems and their fragments for reactions ^238U+^238U, ^232Th+^250Cf are investigated, from which the lifetimes of giant composite systems at different energies are obtained. The longest average lifetime of ^238U+^238U is found when the incident energy is about Ec.m =1080 MeW, which is about 1200 fm/c.  相似文献

Isoscaling behaviour of the statistical emission fragments from the equilibrated sources with Z=30 and N=30, 33, 36 and 39 is investigated in the framework of the isospin-dependent lattice gas model. The dependences of isoscaling parameters α on source isospin asymmetry, temperature andfreeze-out density are studied, and the `symmetry energy' is deduced from isoscaling parameters. The results show that symmetry energy Csym is insensitive to the change of temperature but follows the power-law dependence on the freeze-out density ρ. The effect of strength of asymmetry of nucleon--nucleon interaction potential on the density dependence of the symmetry energy is discussed.  相似文献

The purpose and contents of this topical issue, Dynamics and Thermodynamics with Nuclear Degrees of Freedom, which grew out of a series of workshops in the years 2004 and 2005, are introduced. The central topics are the nuclear density functional, nuclear multi-fragmentation, and nuclear phase transitions.  相似文献

Fragments produced in the reactions of 69 MeV/nucleon 36Ar and 55 MeV/nucleon 40Ar on a Be target have been measured experimentally. The isotopic distributions from fragmentation reaction for both projectiles are compared with modified statistical abrasion-ablation model calculations. A strong isospin effect exhibits in the fragment distributions produced in 36Ar and 40Ar fragmentation. Experimental evidence for the disappearance of the isospin effect in the isotopic distributions produced by projectile fragmentation is observed with the increase of the violence of nuclear reaction. The prompt component at intermediate velocity of light charged particles is investigated. An improved coalescence model coupled to the intra-nuclear cascade code ISABEL is used to obtain light complex particle energy spectra and multiplicities as a function of impact parameter. The results are compared with experimental data from the 36Ar + 58Ni experiment at 95 MeV/nucleon, performed with the INDRA 4π detection system. The calculated prompt component is found to rather well reproduce proton spectra. For complex light charged particles the calculated components well populate the high energy part of spectra. Prompt emission can therefore explain the large transverse energies experimentally observed at mid-rapidity. Received: 27 July 2000 / Accepted: 20 November 2000  相似文献

Within an isospin and momentum dependent transport model, the dynamics of isospin particles(nucleons and light clusters) in Fermi-energy heavy-ion collisions are investigated for constraining the isospin splitting of nucleon effective mass and the symmetry energy at subsaturation densities. The impacts of the isoscalar and isovector parts of the momentum dependent interaction on the emissions of isospin particles are explored, i.e., the mass splittings of m_n~*=m_p~* and m_n~* m_p~*(m_n~* m_p~*). The single and double neutron to proton ratios of free nucleons and light particles are thoroughly investigated in the isotopic nuclear reactions of ~(112)Sn+~(112)Sn and ~(124)Sn+~(124)Sn at incident energies of 50 and 120 MeV/nucleon, respectively. It is found that both the effective mass splitting and symmetry energy impact the kinetic energy spectra of the single ratios, in particular at the high energy tail(larger than 20 Me V). The isospin splitting of nucleon effective mass slightly impacts the double ratio spectra at the energy of 50 MeV/nucleon. A soft symmetry energy with stiffness coefficient of γ_s =0.5 is constrained from the experimental data with the Fermi-energy heavy-ion collisions.  相似文献

Within a transport model it is shown that the neutron/proton ratio of squeezed-out nucleons perpendicular to the reaction plane, especially at high transverse momenta, in heavy-ion reactions induced by high energy neutron-rich nuclei can be a useful tool for studying the high density behavior of the nuclear symmetry energy.  相似文献

The temperature of the quasiprojectile (QP) emerging from binary collisions of the light Ar + Al system at 65 MeV/nucleon is studied theoretically in the framework of the Landau-Vlasov dynamical model. The slope parameter of a charged-particle kinetic-energy spectrum, calculated in the forward-hemisphere of the QP reference frame, is taken as the apparent temperature. The apparent temperature associated to the true QP emission displays a weak dependence on the impact parameter and the hottest primary QPs are formed at intermediate values of b. The effect of momentum-dependent interaction on the kinetic energy spectrum of the neutron-proton ratio ( (n/p)gas)b( Ek ) for 64Zn +64Zn is studied. It is found that ( (n/p)gas)b( Ek ) sensitively depends on the momentumdependent interaction and weakly on the in-medium nucleon-nucleon cross section and symmetry potential. Therefore ( (n/p)gas)b( Ek ) is a possible probe for extracting information on the momentum-dependent interaction in heavy ion collisions.  相似文献

We investigate the formation and the decay of heavy systems which are above the fission barrier. By using a microscopic simulation of constrained molecular dynamics (CoMD) on Au + Au collision, we observe that composite states stay for a very long time before decaying by fission.
