利用混合物理化学气相沉积法(hybrid physical-chemical vapor deposition, HPCVD)可以制备出高性能的MgB2超导薄膜, 再对薄膜进行钛(Ti)离子辐照处理.经过辐照处理后的样品被掺入了Ti元素, 与未处理的干净MgB2样品相比,其超导转变温度没有出现大幅度的下降, 而在外加磁场下的临界电流密度得到了明显的提高,同时样品的上临界磁场也得到了提高. 在温度5 K, 外加垂直磁场为4 T的情况下, Ti离子辐照剂量为1× 1013/cm2的样品的临界电流密度达到了1.72× 105 A/cm2, 比干净的MgB2要高出许多,而其超导转变温度仍能维持在39.9 K的较高水平.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The blue phase of YBa2Cu3O7- δ (YBCO) family, Y2Cu2O5 (Y202) nanoparticles were prepared and doped into (YBCO) superconductor and the effect of doping on critical current density and critical temperature was investigated. Y202 nanoparticles with particle sizes of 47, 107 and 206?nm were prepared by a sol–gel combustion method and added into the YBCO superconductor by 0.5–2?wt.%. XRD and scanning electron microscope measurements were used to characterize the samples. The measurement of critical current density at 77?K revealed that the doped superconductors had larger critical current density compared to the undoped superconductors. For a fixed dopant concentration, by increasing the size of nanoparticles, the Jc was increased. For the samples including 0.5?wt.% of nanoadditives, Jc was higher. The highest critical current density of 137?A/cm2 was measured for the superconductors containing 0.5?wt.% of 206?nm Y202 nanoparticles. Also, by increasing the nanoparticles concentration, the Tc was reduced.  相似文献

We investigate the external hydrostatic pressure effect on the superconducting transition temperature (Tc) of new layered superconductors Bi4O4S3 and NdO0.5F0.5BiS2. Though the Tc is found to have a moderate decrease from 4.8 K to 4.3 K (dTconset/dP = –0.28 K/GPa) for Bi4O4S3 superconductor, the same increases from 4.6 K to 5 K (dTconset/dP = 0.44 K/GPa) up to 1.31 GPa followed by a sudden decrease from 5 K to 4.7 K up to 1.75 GPa for NdO0.5F0.5BiS2 superconductor. The variation of Tc in these systems may be correlated to an increase or decrease of the charge carriers in the density of states under externally applied pressure. In order to elucidate the anisotropic pressure effect on superconductivity in an iron-based superconductor, magnetization measurements have been performed in Ba(Fe0.92Co0.08)2As2 single crystals under uniaxial pressures applied along the c-axis. Gigantic Tc suppression, dTc/dP//c = −15 K/GPa, was observed when the anisotropic deformation with the a-expansion and c-compression was induced by the c-pressure, which should be compared with dTc/dP < +1 K/GPa in the isotropic pressure case. This suggests that the a-axis (c-axis) compression has a positive (negative) contribution to Tc.  相似文献

Abstract

The FIR transmission of an YBa2Cu3O7-δ film 1000 Å thick deposited on an MgO plate has been studied from 20 cm?1 to 4000 cm?1 at T = 300 K, and at 120 K, 80 K and 7 K. i) The spectra for the normal state are well fitted if a mid-IR oscillator of high strength and high damping is added to the simplest Drude model. ii) The spectra for the superconductive state do not show significant variations of transmission vs. temperature for ω > 120 cm?1, which should be in agreement with a weak BCS coupling 2Δ = 3.5 kTc . iii) The FIR transmission at 7 K for ω = 20 cm?1 is not zero (around 1%) and seems to confirm that the low-temperature perovskite is made of two phases: a superconducting, and a normal one, the proportion of the first one increasing when the film temperature is decreased.  相似文献

Abstract

We have measured the electrical resistance R of a sintered, two-phase, high-TC superconductor with the nominal composition BiSrCaCu2Ox, as a function of T and p. We find d(lnR)/dp ? -0.06 GPa?1 at 295 K, while dTC/dp is 2.5 K/GPa for the phase with Tc ? 76 and 2 K/GPa for that with TC ? 106 K.  相似文献

Lead films vapor quenched onto nucleating monolayers of Mo or W exhibit strong lattice disorder and can be considered to be amorphous. The amorphous-to-crystalline transformation temperatureT tr is indicated by a sharp drop of the electrical resistivity in the course of annealing.T tr is found to be proportional tod –2 for Pb thicknessd smaller than 30 nm. The superconducting transition temperatureT c is by 0.6 to 1 K smaller in the amorphous state than after crystallization. In both states,T c is proportional tod –1. Prenucleation with about half a monolayer of Mo leads to quite the sameT c depression as observed earlier by Strongin et al. on Pb films vapor quenched onto predeposited films of SiO, Ge or Al2O3. For comparison, experiments have been carried out with 2.5 nm Ge predeposits. As with Mo prenucleation, a well defined transformation temperatureT tr of about the same value has been observed.T c of bulk amorphous Pb can be extrapolated to be about 6.6 K.  相似文献

报道了利用电子束蒸发的Mg/B多层膜作为前驱体,然后退火制备MgB2薄膜的工作. 实验中发现,采用翻转膜面的退火处理方式可以有效地避免降温过程中Mg蒸气在薄膜表面形成的颗粒凝结,由此稳定地实现了面积为10 mm×10 mm,均匀、平整的超导薄膜的制备,Tc达35 K,转变宽度为0.8 K,在5 μm×5 μm的区域内薄膜的平均粗糙度小于10 nm. 为了便于后续器件制作过程中的微加工工艺,研究了膜厚小于1000 ?时薄膜的成相规律,发现当样品厚度减薄后,Tc会有明显降低. 通过调整前驱薄膜中的不同分层厚度,仍可实现转变温度达30 K以上、厚度约600 ?的MgB2薄膜,在20 K时的临界电流密度为2.4×106 A/cm2.  相似文献

We have investigated the superconducting properties of the Bi1.7 Pb0.3Sr2Ca2−xCe x Cu3O10+δ system with x=0.00, 0.02, 0.04, 0.08 and 0.1 by X-ray diffraction and magnetic susceptibility. The substitution of Ce for Ca has been found to drastically change the superconducting properties of the system. X-ray diffraction studies on these compounds indicate decrease in the c-parameter with increased substitution of Ce at Ca site and volume fraction of high T c (2 : 2 : 2 : 3) phase decreases and low T c phase increases. The magnetic susceptibility of this compound shows that the diamagnetic on set superconducting transition temperature (onset) varies from 109 K to 51 K for x=0.00, 0.02, 0.04, 0.08 and 0.1. These results suggest the possible existence of Ce in a tetravalent state rather than a trivalent state in this system; that is, Ca2+ → Ce4+ replacement changes the hole carrier concentration. Hole filling is the cause of lowering T c of the system.  相似文献

The preparation, structure and properties of five members of the homologous series Bi2+x(Ca,Sr) n+1 Cu n O2n+4+δ are discussed, namely for n = 0, 1, 2, 3 and ∞. The two end members are insulating phases with a fixed oxygen stoichiometry but the members n = 1, 2 and 3 are superconducting phases with Tc depending on the calcium to strontium ratio and on oxygen stoichiometry as determined by annealing temperature and oxygen partial pressure. Maximum zero resistance Tc 's obtained are n = 1: 76 K, n = 2: 91 K and n = 3: 106 K. The effects of Pb-substitution in n = 2 and n = 3 are discussed with particular reference to the stabilisation of the latter phase. Rare-earth substitution is shown to raise Tc for n = 2 to at least 101 K without the introduction of the n = 3 phase.  相似文献

Abstract

The temperature dependence of the linear birefringence (LB), Δn c , is measured in the range 5 K ? T ? 500 K on samples of KFeF4, which originate from hydrothermal, flux and Bridgman growth techniques. Pronounced anomalies are found at the orthorhombic-orthorhomic phase transition at T c ∽ 400 K. It is weakly discontinuous with a near-tricritical exponent β ∽ 0.2. Weak anomalies near T i T c + (25 … 40 K) seem to indicate a transition into an intermediate incommensurate phase. Its XY-model character is reflected by the critical LB exponent β = 0.8 ± 0.1. A smooth LB anomaly below 200 K is due to 2-dimensional ferromagnetic spin-order.  相似文献

The intensity of the 646 cm-1 Raman line in YBa2Cu3-x V x O7-y has been measured for cooling and heating from 77 K to 234 K. The intensity exhibits intensity hysteresis of order 20% in the cooling versus heating values between T c = 89 K and T o = 234 K. This effect is unexplained but is extremely similar to that reported by Ledbetter et al. for the bulk modulus and C 11 elastic coefficient. In each case the hysteresis vanishes below T c , independent of the value of T c , which may be adjusted from 60 K to 94 K by changing oxygen concentration y. Qualitative interpretation requires that the structural phase transition near 234 K be intimately related to the superconducting transition at T c presumably through partial ordering of oxygens.  相似文献

Studies on (Y1 - xLa X )Ba2Cu3O7, x = 0.0 - 1.0, in steps of 0.1, have been carried out. Results show that for x ≤ 0.4, orthorhombicity and high Tc of 90 K are retained. Tc decreases gradually for x ≥ 0.4. Pure LaBa2Cu3O7 shows a TC ZERO of 73 K. XRD data do not reveal any clearcut orthorhombic distortion for pure LaBa2CuO7 after annealing at 350°C for 4 days.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Recently, the AlB2-type compounds (such as AlB2 and MgB2) which exhibit Dirac Nodal Line (DNLs) semimetal on their electronic band structure and Phononic Weyl Nodal Straight Lines (PTWNLs) on their phonon spectrum, have received wide attentions on their novel properties. Up to date, no comparative studies have been investigated on their electronic structures, phonon spectrum, and electron phonon coupling (EPC) under the conditions of carrier doping and strain engineering. Here, we systemically investigate their above properties under carrier doping and strain engineering by first-principles calculations. The results show that the superconducting transition temperature T c can be enhanced by electron doping and tensile strain. For AlB2, the tensile strain of 6% can enhance T c to 10.25?K and with the doping concentrate of 0.1 e- per cell can enhance T c reach to 9.89?K. Moreover, the physical quantities related to superconductivity of AlB2 are more affected by carrier doping than MgB2. Our results provide a theoretical reference to explore the correlation between electronic and phonon topological properties in AlB2-type materials.  相似文献

Our group at TRIUMF reported earlier a study of the spin exchange reactions of Mu with O2 and NO in the range 295 K to 478 K. We have extended the measurement with O2 to a low temperature region down to 88 K. From 135 K to 296 K, the spin depolarization rate constantk d(T) was found to vary according to the relative velocity of the colliding species,T 1/2, which indicates that the spin exchange cross section of Mu-O2 is temperature independent in this temperature range. The value ofk d(T) at 296 K is in good agreement with our earlier study. However, it was found that below 105 K and above 400 K,k d(T) tends to have stronger temperature dependences (T n , withn>1/2). This deviation fromT 1/2-behavior can be attributed to the velocity (energy) dependence of the spin exchange cross section.  相似文献

Abstract

Existing experimental data for the antiferroelastic phase transition in strontium titanate are reviewed and analysed using a Landau free energy of the form ΔG = 1/2Aθs (cothθs/ Tc-colb.θ/T)Q2 + 1/4BQ 4 + 1/6CQ 6, with A = 0·6472 J K?1mol?1, B = 29·12 Jmol?1, C = 39·27 Jmol, T c= 105·6 K, θ S = 60·8 K. The temperature dependence of the critical exponent is found to be due to the delicate balance between the Q 4 and Q 6 terms in the free energy expansion, and the saturation of the order parameter at low temperatures.

The spontaneous strains observed in this phase transition are not consistent with simple rotation of the TiO6 octahedra around [001], An alternative model is proposed, where these octahedra expand in order to preserve the volume of the twelve-fold co-ordinated Sr site and the spacing between SrO3 pseudo-closepacked layers.  相似文献

NMR and NQR studies on two interesting systems (URu2Si2, CeTIn5) were performed under high pressure. (1) URu2Si2: In the pressure range 3.0 to 8.3 kbar, we have observed new 29Si NMR signals arising from the antiferromagnetic (AF) region besides the previously observed 29Si NMR signals which come from the paramagnetic (PM) region in the sample. This gives definite evidence for spatially-inhomogeneous development of AF ordering below T 0 of 17.5 K. The volume fraction is enhanced by applied pressure, whereas the value of internal field (∼91 mT) remains constant up to 8.3 kbar. In the AF region, the ordered moment is about one order of magnitude larger than 0.03 μB. (2) CeTIn5: The pressure and temperature (T) dependences of nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/T 1 of 115In in CeTIn5 have shown that the superconductivity (SC) occurs close to an AF instability. From the T dependences of 1/T 1 and Knight shift below T c. CeTIn5 has been found to exhibit non-s wave (probable d wave) SC with even parity and line nodes in the SC energy gap.  相似文献

Electron-doped (Ba1−x La x )MnO3 compounds were prepared for x=0−0.5. Measurements of X-ray diffraction (XRD) at room temperature and temperature variation of dc electrical resistivity down to 20 K were carried out. Samples with x=0.2–0.5 exhibit metal-insulator (M-I) transition. The maximum M-I transition temperature (T c) of 289 K was observed for 30% of La doping (x=0.3). XRD patterns of these samples (x=0.2−0.5) were analyzed using Rietveld refinement. These samples are found to be mostly in single-phase form with orthorhombic symmetry (space group Pbnm). We have found strong correlation between Mn-O-Mn bond angles and T c of M-I transition. The resistivity data below T c could be fitted to the expression ρ=ρ 1+ρ 2 T 2 and this shows that double exchange interaction plays a major role even in Mn4+-rich compound. Above T c the resistivity data were fitted to variable range hopping and small polaron models.  相似文献

The spin-spin relaxation rate 63 T 2 −1 of 63Cu nuclei in CuO2 layers is measured in the normal and superconducting states of the compound YBa2Cu3O6.9 (T c onset =94 K) subjected to radiation-induced disordering by a fast-neutron flux Φ to T c onset =68 K (Φ=7×1018 cm−2) and T c onset <4 K (Φ=12×1018 cm−2). It is found that as the structural disorder increases, the contribution of the indirect spin-spin interaction 63 T 2G −1 , which is related to the value of the spin susceptibility at the boundary of the Brillouin zone of the copper planes χs(q={π/a; π/a}), decreases slightly at the transition to the superconducting state for the initial sample and remains unchanged for the weakly disordered sample. This behavior of the short-wavelength contribution to the spin susceptibility attests to the stability of the x 2y 2 symmetry of the energy gap against structural disorder, in accordance with proposed theoretical models of Cooper pairing for high-T c cuprates. A comprehensive review of structure work on high-T c oxides as reported during the years 1987 and 1988 is given. Thirteen structures are refined from X-ray single-crystal and/or neutron powder diffraction data:I. (Ba1–x ,K x )BiO3 (T c =30 K),II. (La2–x , Sr x )CuO4 (T c =40 K),III. (Nd, Ce, Sr)2CuO4 (T c =28 K),IV. (Nd2–x , Ce x )CuO4 (T c =24 K),V. YBa2Cu3O7 (T c =90 K),VI. YBa2Cu4O8 (T c =80 K),VII. Y2Ba4Cu7O14 (T c =40 K),VIII. Pb2Sr2NdCu3O8 (T c =70 K),IX. TlBa2CaCu2O7 (T c =103 K),X. TlBa2Ca2Cu3O9 (T c =120 K),XI. Tl2Ba2CuO6 (T c =90 K),XII. Tl2Ba2CaCu2O8 (T c =112 K),XIII. Tl2Ba2Ca2Cu3O10 (T c =125 K). Except forI (perovskite type),II (K2NiF4 type) andIV (Nd2CuO4 type) they represent new structure types. Structure data, bond distances, structure drawings and calculated X-ray powder diffraction patterns are given for each compound.
