In real-time applications of bi-directional associative memory (BAM) networks.a global exponentially stable equilibrium is highly desired.The existence,uniqueness and global exponential stability for a class of BAM networks are studied in this paper,the signal function of neurons is assumed to be piece-wise linear from the engineering point of view.A very concise condition for the equilbrium of such a network being globally exponentially stable is derived.which makes the pactical design of this kind of networks an easy job.  相似文献

Abstract

Energy-dispersive x-ray diffraction using synchrotron radiation was carried out on α-cristobalite to 3 GPa and 350°C in a cubic anvil press. A cascading structural phase transition occurred beyond 0.61 GPa at room temperature. The transition was accompanied by a splitting of most of the a-cristobalite reflections: the (111) reflection at 0.61 GPa through the (211) reflections at 2.13 GPa, with many other lines between. The pressure of this transition decreased with increasing temperature.  相似文献

Penning type discharge was adopted to excite helium atoms. It is suitable for generating high density metastables at a range from 0.1 mTorr to 0.5 Torr. The highest metastable density of 3.5 x 1010 cm-3 was observed at a static gas pressure of 0.5 Torr. The highest fraction of metastables (N12s/Nhe) of 10-3 in a low gas pressure was obtained. The variation of the magnetic field strength on the discharge does not result in a significant density change of the metastable helium atoms. When no magnetic field was applied, no discharge took place.  相似文献

Two different potential models to the molecular dynamics (MD) simulations have been applied to investigate the thermoelastic parameter αKT of sodium chloride (NaCl) under high pressure and high temperature. The first one is the shell model (SM) potential that due to the short-range interaction when pairs of ions are moved together as is the case in that polarization of a crystal due to the motion of the positive and negative ions, and the second one is the two-body rigid-ion Born–Mayer–Huggins–Fumi–Tosi (BMHFT) potential with full treatment of long-range Coulomb forces. Particular attention is paid to the comparison of the SM- and BMHFT-MD simulations with the Debye model for the first time, and this model combines with ab initio calculations within local density approximation (LDA) and generalized gradient approximation (GGA) using ultrasoft pseudopotentials and a plane-wave basis in the framework of density functional theory (DFT), and it takes into account the phononic effects within the quasi-harmonic approximation. Note that the MD calculated volumes using SM model is somewhat larger than both the DFT and experimental volumes despite not considering the temperature effect. Compared with SM potential, the MD simulated 300 K isotherm of NaCl with BMHFT potential is very successful in reproducing accurately the measured volumes and the GGA calculated volumes. Generally, it is found that there exist minor differences between the LDA and GGA computed the thermoelastic parameter αKT of NaCl, with both average results giving good agreement with SM-MD simulations. At an extended pressure and temperature ranges, the variation of thermoelastic parameter αKT which play a central role in the formulation of approximate equations of state has also been predicted. The properties of NaCl are summarized in the pressure range of 0–300 kbar and the temperature up to 2000 K.  相似文献

As the output power of a chemical oxygen iodine laser (COIL) increases, the output laser beam instability appears as the far-field beam spot drift and deformation for the large Presnel number unstable resonator. In order to interpret this phenomenon, an output beam mode simulation code was developed with the fast Fourier transform method. The calculation results show that the presence of the nonuniform gain in COIL produces a skewed output intensity distribution, which causes the mirror tilt and bulge due to the thermal expansion. With the output power of COIL increases, the mirror surfaces, especially the back surface of the scraper mirror, absorb more and more heat, which causes the drift and deformation of far field beam spot seriously. The initial misalignment direction is an important factor for the far field beam spot drifting and deformation.  相似文献

In this paper,propagation of sound in pipes under the influenceof a gas flow of high temperature is investigated.The analysis in the pa-per is based on the fundamental equations of fluid mechanics.Approxi-mate formulas of the variation of parameters,such as the static tempera-ture,the local velocity of sound,the flow speed and the Mach number,with distance are obtained.The four parameters transmision matix whichdetermines the acoustical character of the pipe is derived and discussed.The acoustical character of a pulsating gas heater is investigated experim-entally and theoretically.The theoretical values of the resonant frequenciesof the device are in good agreement with the experimental results.  相似文献

Crystallographic relations between different forms of boron nitride (BN) appearing at the high pressure–high temperature structural phase transformation have been revealed by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). As starting materials, crystalline hexagonal BN (hBN) with different degrees of crystallinity, or with defects intentionally introduced, were used. Cubic BN (cBN) is formed only as a minor component, the rest consisting of different forms of sp 2 bonded BN: hBN, compressed, monoclinic deformed hBN, or turbostratic BN (tBN). The small cBN crystallites (300–400?nm) contain many defects such as twins, stacking faults and nanoinclusions of other BN forms: tBN, rhombohedral BN (rBN) and wurtzite BN (wBN). The cBN phase grows epitaxially on the basal plane of hBN. The nucleation sites for cBN are revealed by HRTEM. They consist of nanoarches (sp 3 hybridized, highly curved nanostructures), frequently observed at the edges of the hBN crystallites in the starting materials. Based on HRTEM observations of specimens not fully transformed, a nucleation and growth model for cBN is proposed which is consistent with existing theoretical and experimental models.  相似文献

By vapour quenching it is possible to produce amorphous metal films in the Al–Cu system which are superconducting between 1.2 and 2.6 K. These films show a negative temperature coefficient of resistivity and are stable up to 380 K. The analysis of electron diffraction patterns shows that Al100–xCux is characterized by a dense packed atomic distribution with increasing order from 29~x~49. Al51Cu49 exhibits all typical features known from metglasses which are to a first approximation well understood by the Bernal model. From our results over the composition range 29<~x<~72 we conclude that the short range orders of our amorphous films are similar to those of the complex compounds existing in the phase diagram.Dedicated to Prof. Dr. W. GaN epilayers were grown on sapphire substrates by metal-organic chemical vapour deposition. Metal-semiconductor-metal photoconductive detectors were fabricated using this material. The photocurrent properties of the detectors were measured and analysed. The spectrum response shows a high sensitivity in the wavelength region from 330 to 360nm, with a peak at 358nm and a sharp cutoff near 360nm. The maximum responsivities at 358nm were 700A/W (2V) and 7000A/W (30V). The relationship between responsivity and bias indicates that the responsivity increases linearly with bias until 30V. The influence of the spacing between two electrodes on the detector responsivity was also studied.  相似文献

Recently multipacting (MP) recalculation of the TeV Energy Superconducting Linear Accelerator (TESLA) resonator was performed. In addition to the normal MP which occurs at a peak electric field of around 40MV/m for the TESLA cavity, another type of multipacting with resonant electron trajectory that is far from the equator is also seen.It occurs at a gradient around 60MV/m to 70MV/m. This work focused on fracture toughness studies of WC–10?wt% Co hardmetal fabricated through the high pressure/high-temperature technique. A powder mixture of WC–10?wt% Co was sintered at 1500–1900°C under a pressure of 7.7?GPa for 2 and 3?min. Vickers hardness test at two different loads of 15 and 30?kgf was done and fracture toughness of the sintered bodies was measured using the indentation method to obtain the effect of sintering parameters. Structural analyses were also performed via X-ray diffraction to investigate structure-related properties. Full density was achieved for high sintering temperature along with abnormal grain growth that reduced hardness. High hardness was observed ranging from 1200 to 1670?HV and fracture toughness increased with increasing sintering temperature up to the highest value of 17.85?MPa/m1/2.  相似文献

The charged vector ρ mesons in the presence of external magnetic fields at finite temperature T and chemical potential μ have been investigated in the framework of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model.We compute the masses of charged ρ mesons numerically as a function of the magnetic field for different values of temperature and chemical potential.The self-energy of the ρ meson contains the quark-loop contribution,i.e.the leading order contribution in 1/N_C expansion.The charged ρ meson mass decreases with the magnetic field and drops to zero at a critical magnetic field eB_c,which indicates that the charged vector meson condensation,i.e.the electromagnetic superconductor can be induced above the critical magnetic field.Surprisingly,it is found that the charged ρ condensation can even survive at high temperature and density.At zero temperature,the critical magnetic field just increases slightly with the chemical potential,which indicates that charged ρ condensation might occur inside compact stars.At zero density,in the temperature range 0.2 — 0.5 GeV,the critical magnetic field for charged ρ condensation is in the range of 0.2 — 0.6 GeV~2,which indicates that a high temperature electromagnetic superconductor might be created at LHC.  相似文献

Using the 60keV Mössbauer transition in237Np high pressure experiments have been performed up to 85kbar between 4.2K and 200K on NpCo2Si2, NpAl2, NpOs2 and NpAs. The delocalization of 5f-electrons with reduced volume is most pronounced in NpOs2 and NpAl2, whereas NpCo2Si2 can be considered as a highly localized magnet. In NpAs 5f-hybridization with electrons of As is dominant. Both hollow-cathode and Penning-type discharges were adopted to excite helium atoms to a metastable state. Experimental data indicate that Penning discharge is more suitable for generating high fractions of metastables in a low-density helium beam for laser-induced fluorescence technique in measuring electric fields at the edge of a plasma. The metastable density increases with increasing helium gas pressure in the range of 1.33×10^{-2}-66.7Pa. The highest metastable density of 3.8×10^{16}m^{-3} is observed at a static gas pressure of 66.7Pa. An approximately linear relationship between the density of metastable helium atoms and the plasma discharge current is observed. Magnetic field plays a very important role in producing a high density of metastable atoms in Penning discharge.  相似文献

We have used optical emission spectroscopy to characterize the high-voltage pulsed discharge of ammonia.Ammonia was highly dissociated in the discharge at low pressures.More atomic nitrogen was generated as compared to the discharge of nitrogen gas at the same pressure of 0.8kPa.We discuss the elimination of the oxygen impurity in the ammonia discharge,and we estimate the time-dependent atomic excitation temperature and the electron density from the measured spectra.  相似文献

Abstract

Surface tension calculation of the binary alloys Ag–Au at the temperature of 1381 K, where Ag and Au have similar electronic structures and their atomic radii are comparable, are carried out in this study using several equations over entire composition range of Au. Apparently, the deviations from ideality of the bulk solutions, such as activities of Ag and Au are small and the maximum excess Gibbs free energy of mixing of the liquid phase is for instance ?4500 J/mol at XAu = 0.5. Besides, the results obtained in Ag–Au alloys that at a constant temperature the surface tension increases with increasing composition while the surface tension decreases as the temperature increases for entire composition range of Au. Although data about surface tension of the Ag–Au alloy are limited, it was possible to make a comparison for the calculated results for the surface tension in this study with the available experimental data. Taken together, the average standard error analysis that especially the improved Guggenheim model in the other models gives the best agreement along with the experimental results at temperature 1383 K although almost all models are mutually in agreement with the other one.  相似文献
