It is shown that the standard model of the electroweak interactions holds at an infinite sublayer quark level, insofar as we consider the weak isospin doublet (u L,u L cp , whereu is an infinite number of quarks at an infinite sublayer level.  相似文献

We assume that the electron (e ), neutrino (v e), and gauge bosons (W ±,Z 0) are composed of only two kinds of particles, an ultimate particleu at an infinite sublayer quark level and a chargeless fermiont, such thate =(u cp u cp l),V e =(u u cp l,W +=(u u ),W =(u cp u cp andZ 0=(u u cp . It is then shown thatCP is violated in weak interactions associated with these electron, neutrino, and gauge bosons.  相似文献

We study higher order bicovariant differential calculi on the quantum groups Oq(N) and Sp q (N). We show that the second antisymmetrizer exterior algebra u is the quotient of the universal exterior algebra u by the principal ideal generated by . Here denotes the unique up to scalars biinvariant 1-form. Moreover is central in u and u is an inner differential calculus. We show that the quadratic dual to the left-invariant algebra s L is isomorphic to the reflection equation algebra. Let be an arbitrary left-covariant first order differential calculus. We show that the dimension of the space of left-invariant 2-forms in the universal exterior algebra equals the number of linearly independent quadratic-linear relations in the quantum tangent space.  相似文献

We study the holomorphic structure of certain complex manifolds associated withW algebras, namely, the flag manifoldsW /T andW 1+/T 1+, and the spacesW /SL(),R) andW 1+/GL(,R), whereT andT 1+ are the maximal tori inW andW 1+. We compute their Ricci curvature and show how the results are related to the anomaly-freedom conditions forW andW 1+. We discuss the relation of these manifolds with extensions of universal Teichmüller space.Supported in part by the U.S. Department of Energy, under grant DE-AS05-81ER40039Supported in part by the U.S. Department of Energy, under grant DE-FG03-84ER40168  相似文献

In a previous paper, we proposed the infinite sublayer quark model, in which there exists an infinite number of quarksu and antiquarksu c at an infinite sublayer level. By applying the standard model of the electroweak interactions to the weak isospin doublet (u ,u c ) T it is shown that there exists only one gauge fieldW µ 3 , from which the electromagnetic fieldA µ=W µ 3 cos w and the neutral vector boson fieldZ µ 0 =W µ 3 sin w are derived.  相似文献

In an appropriate mathematical framework we supply a simple proof that the quotienting of the space of connections by the group of gauge transformations (in Yang-Mills theory) is aC principal fibration. The underlying quotient space, the gauge orbit space, is seen explicitly to be aC manifold modelled on a Hilbert space.  相似文献

A local classification of all Poisson-Lie structures on an infinite-dimensional group G of formal power series is given. All Lie bialgebra structures on the Lie algebra G of G are also classified.  相似文献

A simple method is suggested for calculation of reflection, radiation and transmission coefficients for the distributed feedback structure in the second diffraction order. The method is based on a slight difference between coefficients of reflectionR and radiationI of the surface wave for = (where is the light wavelength corresponding to a precise resonance for the grating length I) and those for =l (where l is the light wavelength corresponding to the resonance for the finite grating length). The simplicity of the method makes it possible to use it for optimization of the distributed feedback structure by a number of parameters. The technique can be used in the case of thin-film and diffused waveguides for both TE and TM modes.  相似文献

In view of physical applications (especially to QCD Sum Rules), the following problem, pertaining to analytic extrapolation techniques, is studied. We are considering amplitudes, which are (real) analytic functions in the complex plane cut along=[s 0, ). A modelF 0(s) of the amplitude is given through the values ofF 0(s) on some interval=[s 2,s 1] (withs 1<s 0) and the values of its discontinuity on. These values are approximate, and are supplemented by prescribed error channels, measured inL -norm (both on and). Investigating the compatibility between these data leads to an extremum problem which is solved up to a point where numerical methods can be implemented.Unité Associée au CNRS no040768  相似文献

Previous results on quasi-classical limit of the KP and Toda hierarchies are now extended to the BKP hierarchy. Basic tools such as the Lax representation, the Baker-Akhiezer function and the tau function are reformulated so as to fit into the analysis of quasi-classical limit. Two subalgebrasW 1 B + andw 1 B + of theW-infinity algebrasW 1 + andw 1 + are introduced as fundamental Lie algebras of the BKP hierarchy and its quasi-classical limit, the dispersionless BKP hierarchy. The quantumW-infinity algebraW 1 B + emerges in symmetries of the BKP hierarchy. In quasi-classical limit, theseW 1 B + symmetries are shown to be contracted intow 1 B + symmetries of the dispersionless BKP hierarchy.  相似文献

The asymptotic stability of traveling wave solutions with shock profile is considered for scalar viscous conservation lawsu t +f(u) x =u xx with the initial datau 0 which tend to the constant statesu ± asx±. Stability theorems are obtained in the absence of the convexity off and in the allowance ofs (shock speed)=f(u ±). Moreover, the rate of asymptotics in time is investigated. For the casef(u+)(u), if the integral of the initial disturbance over (–,x) is small and decays at the algebraic rate as |x|, then the solution approaches the traveling wave at the corresponding rate ast. This rate seems to be almost optimal compared with the rate in the casef=u 2/2 for which an explicit form of the solution exists. The rate is also obtained in the casef(u ± =s under some additional conditions. Proofs are given by applying an elementary weighted energy method to the integrated equation of the original one. The selection of the weight plays a crucial role in those procedures.  相似文献

We study the large time behavior of solutions of time dependent Schrödinger equationsiu/t=–(1/2)u+t V(x/t)u with bounded potentialV(x). We show that (1) if>–1, all solutions are asymptotically free ast, (2) if–1 a solution becomes asymptotically free if and only if it has the momentum support outside of suppV for large time, (3) if –1 <0 all solutions are still asymptotically modified free ast and that (4) if 0 <2, for each local minimumx 0 ofV(x), there exist solutions which are asymptotically Gaussians centered atx=tx 0 and spreading slowly ast.  相似文献

We present a regular class of exact black hole solutions of the Einstein equations coupled with a nonlinear electrodynamics source. For weak fields the nonlinear electrodynamics becomes the Maxwell theory, and asymptotically the solutions behave as the Reissner–Nordström one. The class is endowed with four parameters, which can be thought of as the mass m, charge q, and a sort of dipole and quadrupole moments and , respectively. For 3, 4, and |q|2s c m the corresponding solutions are regular charged black holes. For = 3, they also satisfy the weak energy condition. For = = 0 we recover the Reissner–Nordström singular solution and for = 3, = 4 the family includes a previous regular black hole reported by the authors.  相似文献

LetH l be the Hamiltonian in aP()2 theory with sharp space cutoff in the interval (–l/2,l/2). LetE l =inf(H l ), (l)=–E l /l, and let l be the vacuum forH l . discuss properties of (l) and l . In particular, asl, there are finite constants <0 and such that (l), ((l)–)l, and hence (l)=+/l+o(l –1). Moreover exp(–c 1 l) l 1exp(–c 2 l) forc 1,c 2 positive constants, where l 1 is theL 1(Q, d0) norm of 1 with respect to the Fock vacuum measure. We also present a new proof of recent estimates of Glimm and Jaffe on local perturbations ofH l in the infinite volume limit.Research sponsored by AFOSR under Contract No. F44620-71-C-0108.On leave from Istituto di Fisica Teorica, Universitá di Napoli and Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare, Sezione di Napoli.A. By using the free field realizations, we analyze the representation theory of theW 1+ algebra withc = 1. The eigenvectors for the Cartan subalgebra ofW 1+ are parametrized by Young diagrams, and explicitly written down byW 1+ generators. Moreover, their eigenvalues and full character formula are also obtained.  相似文献

In this paper we describe characteristic properties of the scattering data of the compatible eigenvalue problem for the pair of differential equations related to the modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) equation whose solution is defined in some half-strip or in the quarter plane (0<x<)×[0,T), T. We suppose that this solution has a C initial function vanishing as x, and C boundary values, vanishing as t when T=. We study the corresponding scattering problem for the compatible Zakharov-Shabat system of differential equations associated with the mKdV equation and obtain a representation of the solution of the mKdV equation through Marchenko integral equations of the inverse scattering method. The kernel of these equations is valid only for x0 and it takes into account all specific properties of the pair of compatible differential equations in the chosen half-strip or in the quarter plane. The main result of the paper is the collection A–B–C of characteristic properties of the scattering functions given below.  相似文献

Results from percolation theory are used to study phase transitions in one-dimensional Ising andq-state Potts models with couplings of the asymptotic formJ x,y const/¦xy¦2. For translation-invariant systems with well-defined lim x x 2 J x =J + (possibly 0 or ) we establish: (1) There is no long-range order at inverse temperatures withJ +1. (2) IfJ +>q, then by sufficiently increasingJ 1 the spontaneous magnetizationM is made positive. (3) In models with 0<J +< the magnetization is discontinuous at the transition point (as originally predicted by Thouless), and obeysM( c )1/( c J +)1/2. (4) For Ising (q=2) models withJ +<, it is noted that the correlation function decays as xy()c()/|xy|2 whenever< c . Points 1–3 are deduced from previous percolation results by utilizing the Fortuin-Kasteleyn representation, which also yields other results of independent interest relating Potts models with different values ofq.  相似文献
