讨论了分布式光纤拉曼增益放大器的工作原理,采用1320nm固体激光器作为抽运源,获得了1410nm波段附近的光放大,在单模GI光纤长度为23km时,初步研究了拉曼放大器增益与光纤作用长度的关系,抽运脉冲峰值功率分别为50W、30W时,光纤的有效作用长度分别为15.5km和10.5km;研究了在不同的光纤有效作用长度时,拉曼放大器增益与抽运功率的关系;从光纤拉曼光谱图估算了光纤拉曼放大器的光谱宽度为50nm或250cm^-1。 相似文献

为实现较大放大带宽,同时提高输出增益并保持较小的增益平坦度,设计了一种二阶拉曼光纤放大器,采用一个二阶泵浦和四个一阶泵浦对100路信号光进行分布式拉曼放大.首先对二阶拉曼耦合波方程进行数值求解,为进一步提高输出性能,利用粒子群优化算法对二阶拉曼光纤放大器的性能参数进行了优化,然后在相同泵浦参数配置下,对一阶拉曼光纤放大器和二阶拉曼光纤放大器进行对比,最后对二阶拉曼放大器输出增益的影响因素进行分析.通过Matlab仿真,在1 510~1 610 nm的增益带宽范围内所设计的二阶拉曼光纤放大器的平均输出增益为23.768 0 dB,最高输出增益为24.124 4 dB,同时增益平坦度为0.911 2 dB. 相似文献

为解决传统拉曼放大器增益系数低和增益不平坦的问题,采用级联光子晶体光纤的设计方法设计了一种增益平坦的拉曼光纤放大器.采用受激拉曼散射效应的稳态分析理论,分析了光子晶体光纤的拉曼增益谱,建立了拉曼放大器的理论模型.通过解耦合方程,推导了实现增益平坦的约束条件,发现光纤长度和泵浦功率是影响拉曼光纤放大器增益平坦度的两个参数.仿真结果表明,在1 508~1 544 nm的带宽范围内,实现了一个增益高达21 dB,增益平坦度仅为0.14 dB的光子晶体拉曼光纤放大器,可在光纤通信系统应用中发挥重要作用. 相似文献

采用一种简单的双光栅级联结构,通过不同波长的两束控制激光进行增益控制;同时采用两级放大结构,实现全光增益控制光纤放大器高增益和高功率输出。当可调光衰减器功率衰减量分别为33.2dB和3.8dB,输入光功率在-5.1dBm~2.0dBm范围变化时,增益控制光纤放大器的最大输出功率为1.55 W,平均增益和噪声系数分别约为30.3dB和6.4dB,增益漂移小于0.27dB。同时,改变环形腔损耗得到不同的增益,在增益漂移允许范围内(小于0.3dB),增益钳制范围为24.5dB~31.3dB。另外,在双信道情况下,当剩余信道功率为0.74mW和1.57mW时,其增益漂移范围分别小于0.08dB和0.16dB。 相似文献

提出了一种改进的、可用于计算偏振相关拉曼增益的光纤拉曼放大器的非线性耦合波方程。建立了单模双折射光纤拉曼增益的数学模型,分析了线偏振抽运光以与光纤快轴成45°激励的单模双折射光纤拉曼放大器模型与实际具有随机双折射的光纤拉曼放大器的拉曼增益偏振相关特性的等价性。基于上述模型,提出了一个可定量表征单模光纤偏振模色散统计特性的拉曼增益偏振相关因子,用以替代常规的光纤拉曼放大器非线性耦合波方程中的偏振相关因子。计算结果与已报道文献的实验数据非常吻合。同时对抽运增益在同向和反向抽运方式下截然不同的增益偏振相关特性给出了合理的解释。 相似文献

Abstract This article presents a feasibility study for using a hybrid cladding photonic crystal fiber as a distributed fiber Raman amplifier based transmission link with negligible confinement losses and flattened dispersion characteristics. The simulation results clearly indicate that a bit error rate of 10?9 can be maintained at the end of a (4 × 170)-km distributed fiber Raman amplifier link operating with 40 Gbps and 0.6 dBm transmit power if 20 dBm of pump power is used for each span. 相似文献

抽运光源是光纤拉曼放大器应用于密集波分复用系统的关键技术,设计了一种紧凑型的808nm激光二极管抽运的基于钒酸钇(Nd^3+:YVO4)晶体1342nm固体激光器模块,提出利用上述1342nm固体激光器抽运基于光纤光栅的单级全光纤型拉曼谐振器获得1.4μm激光输出的光纤拉曼激光器,分析了固体激光器的阈值特性、性能优化方法和单级光纤拉曼谐振器的设计方法。上述1342nm固体激光器模块在抽运功率2W时获得了最大655mW的激光输出功率和42.6%的斜率效率,单级拉曼谐振器的1342nm到1.4μm光功率转换斜率效率达75%,在1425nm、1438nm、1455nm和1490nm处的输出功率达到300mW以上。最后给出基于1.4μm光纤拉曼激光器抽运的宽带平坦放大的光纤拉曼放大器的结构参量和性能测试结果。 相似文献

The model includes all the interactions among the pumps, signals, and all orders of RB. The results show that the higher order RB has a negligible influence on the performance of the amplifier. The co-propagating and counterpropagating RB power of the signal grow quadratically with the net-gain of the amplifier. The signal to double Rayleigh backscattering noise ratio (OSNRDRB ) of backward-pumped FRAs is better than that of the forward-pumped ones at high net-gain level (〉 13 dB), while at low net-gain level the OSNRDRB of the forward-pumped FRAs is slightly better than that of the backward-pumped ones. 相似文献

We present optimization routines developed to define rapidly and precisely the best pump wavelengths and powers for distributed Raman amplifier design. We confirm the validity of our method through simulations by solving the full propagation equations, which govern the amplifier behavior. The sensitivity of the results obtained on the target bandwidth and on the correct selection of the pump wavelengths is studied.
