Patchouli essential oil can be obtained from fresh, dried and fermented plant material. It is a highly valuable product in the fragrance industry and its quality changes depending upon raw material age and oil storage. In this work, patchouli essential oils derived from different treatments have been subjected to GC-FID quantitative analysis using an internal standard (ISTD) method with response factors (RF). Samples were obtained from i) fresh plants; ii) hydrodistillation of one year mature and fermented plants; iii) hydrodistillation of one year mature plants; iv) commercial products from Indonesia and Malaysia. Linear Retention Indices (LRI) for both polar and non-polar GC-MS analyses were also measured as a tool for qualitative analysis towards a homologous series of C7-C30 n-alkanes. The results obtained confirmed that, in all samples, patchouli alcohol was the main volatile constituent, with higher amount in lab-scale produced oils, compared with commercial samples. Other major compounds, in lab oils and commercial samples respectively, were: delta-guaiene, alpha-guaiene, pogostol, seychellene and alpha-patchoulene. 干酪根组成结构及其热解生油特性的红外光谱研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
对五种不同地区油页岩中干酪根进行了固体KBr压片红外吸收光谱分析,并通过曲线分峰拟合建立了干酪根中脂肪烃区域结构参数的定量测定方法。利用TG-FTIR联用分析技术对干酪根在20 ℃/min升温速率下热解挥发分析出组分在线定性分析,得到了脂肪烃结构参数随热裂解过程的反应特性及变化规律。研究表明,油页岩中干酪根由脂肪烃结构、芳香烃结构和含氧等官能团三部分组成。脂肪烃结构相对含量为18.5%~78.2%,并均以含长链亚甲基结构为主。随着演化程度的加深,干酪根中脂肪烃含量逐渐减少,生油能力也不断降低。干酪根热分解主要发生在350~520 ℃,520 ℃后热失重现象趋于平缓,在此温度下各样品残余半焦的质量分数为19.5%~52.2%。在线红外分析结果表明,干酪根热裂解过程中先析出游离水,随后发生解聚和脱水反应,主要的烷基侧链不断脱落、环化及含氧基团逐渐断裂生成各种烷烃类、羧酸类、醇类和醛类等物质,直至形成更加稳定的类石墨态结构。  相似文献

对千金子油理化性质进行了系统的分析测试,并利用气相色谱法分析了千金子油脂肪酸及千金子挥发油,结果表明,千金子油中油酸含量最高占78.158%,其次是软脂酸、硬脂酸,分别为8.513%和5.523%;千金子挥发油中油酸、亚油酸和油酸-2-丙三醇酯含量较高,分别为17.747%,15.852%和13.196%.  相似文献

In this study, we show that it is possible to differentiate four sesquiterpene isomers (C(15)H(24)) preliminarily separated by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Dimethyl ether is evaluated as a selective ionization reagent and the relative abundance of adducts formed with this reagent gas under positive chemical ionization conditions are compared and adduct ions are characterized using collision-induced dissociation. 采用顶空固相微萃取-气相色谱质谱法(HS-SPME/GC-MS)定性定量分析广藿香药材中的挥发性成分.以百秋里醇的峰面积为指标,确定HS-SPME最佳的实验条件为:160目药材粉末用无水 Na2SO4稀释10倍,称取30 mg于15 mL萃取瓶中,以250 r/min速度搅拌预热(80 ℃) 40 min,插入65 μm聚二甲基硅烷-二乙烯(PDMS-DVB)涂层的纤维头,在相同搅拌速度下80 ℃萃取40 min,纤维头进入GC进样口在250 ℃下解吸100 s.GC色谱条件:色谱柱为DB-5MS柱;载气流速为1 mL/min;柱温的起始温度为90 ℃,以0.8 ℃/min升至110 ℃,保持5 min;1.0 ℃/min升至134 ℃,保持5 min;最后以5.0 ℃/min升至143 ℃,保持10 min.结果:百秋里醇的平均回收率为91.8%,RSD为3.0%.运用本方法对10份不同产地广藿香中百秋里醇的含量进行测定,并以其为参比对照,测定了广藿香中其它主要挥发性成分的含量.  相似文献

The essential oil extracted from the leaves of Pogostemon paniculatus (Willd.) Benth. (Lamiaceae), was analysed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Nineteen compounds constituting 85.36% of the total oil were identified in the oil. Patchouli alcohol (30.65%), α-guaiene (10.67%), β-guaiene (9.09%), caryophyllene (8.64%), eicosene (5.27%) were the major constituents present. The essential oil was analysed for antimicrobial activity by disc diffusion assay and minimum inhibition concentration against six bacteria and three fungi. Results showed inhibitory activity against some of the tested microorganisms. The essential oil was also tested for the DPPH free-radical scavenging activity and had an inhibitory concentration (IC(50)) value of 18.5?μg?mL(-1).  相似文献

This study characterized the acaricidal activity of constituents of patchouli oil extracted from (Pogostemon cablin (Blanco) BENTH) against the house dust mite, Dermatophagoides farinae. A new compound, 2-(1,3-dihydroxy-but-2-enylidene)-6-methyl-3-oxo-heptanoic acid (DHEMH), was isolated from patchouli oil and characterized by (1)H-NMR, (13)C-NMR, LC-MS and elemental analysis (EA). This active component was identified as the hydrolysate of pogostone. Fifteen other constituents found in patchouli oil were also identified by GC-MS, including patchouli alcohol and pogostone. LD(50) studies carried out over 24?h using contact toxicity tests identified DHEMH as the most toxic compound to D. farinae (2.04?μg/cm(2)), followed by patchouli oil (6.11?μg/cm(2)), benzyl benzoate (BP) (9.31?μg/cm(2)) and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (58.52?μg/cm(2)). In vapor phase toxicity tests, all of these compounds were more effective in closed than open containers, indicating that the most efficient mode of delivery for these compounds is the vapor phase. These results indicate that DHEMH and patchouli oil merit further study as potential agents for the control of D. farinae.  相似文献

The volatile oil of the roots of Cynanchum stauntonii was examined by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS). Thirty-eight constituents were identified. (E,E)-2,4-Decadienal, 3-efhyl-4-methypentanol, 5-pentyl-3H-furan-2-one, (E,Z)-2,4-decadienal and 2(3H)-furanone,dihydro-5-pentyl were found to be the major components. The volatile oil exhibited the activities against influenza virus in vitro (IC50s = 64 μg/ml). In in vivo experiment, it prevented influenza virus-induced deaths in a dose-dependent manner.  相似文献

GC and MS were used for the analysis of Croatian Centaurium erythraea Rafn essential oil (obtained by hydrodistillation) and headspace (applying headspace solid-phase microextraction). The headspace contained numerous monoterpene hydrocarbons (the major ones were terpinene-4-ol, methone, p-cymene, γ-terpinene and limonene). Oxygenated monoterpenes were present in the headspace and oil, while 1,8-cineole, bornyl acetate and verbenone were present only in the headspace. High headspace percentages of toluene and naphthalene were found, followed by hemimellitene. Lot of similarities were observed with Serbian C. erythraea oil [neophytadiene (1.4%), thymol (2.6%), carvacrol (6.1%) and hexadecanoic acid (5.7%)], but different features were also noted such as the presence of menthol, menthone and phytone. The oil fractionation enabled identification of other minor compounds not found in total oil such as norisoprenoides, alk-1-enes or chromolaenin. The essential oil showed antimicrobial potential on Escherichia coli, Salmonella enteritidis, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus cereus. On the other hand, no antibacterial activity of the oil was observed on Pseudomonas fluorescens and Lysteria monocytogenes.  相似文献

The stimulation of the human sensory receptors by volatile compounds present in virgin olive oils gives rise to the sensory attributes that describe its delicate and fragrant aroma. The composition of the volatile compounds and their biogenesis is briefly illustrated. Analytical methodologies for evaluating the volatile fraction and the sensory properties of virgin olive oils are elucidated. Compounds responsible for typical flavours are examined and the influence of the main factors on the composition of volatile compounds is discussed. The origin of off-flavours are also described and the consequent changes of volatile composition and of sensory characteristics are analysed. Different oil processing methods were performed, which included washing with water and treatment with lead-based driers, with and without heating to different temperatures, giving a set of 7 oils to be investigated. The effects of the traditional processing methods of linseed oil on its triacylglycerol (TAG) composition were studied, using the following analytical methods: high performance size exclusion chromatography (HPSEC), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), high-performance liquid chromatography-atmospheric pressure chemical ionisation-mass spectrometry (HPLC-APCI-MS), direct temperature resolved mass spectrometry (DTMS), matrix assisted laser desorption/ionisation time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS), and electrospray ionisation Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (ESI-FTICR-MS). A decrease of the initial cis-double bonds and the formation of trans-double bonds upon heating of the oils was observed. Heating a lead and oil mixture to 150 degrees C, or heating the oil alone to 300 degrees C led to the highest degree of oxidation. A difference was observed for the oxidation patterns for oils with and without the addition of lead. Furthermore, levels of oxygen incorporation were higher when lead was added to the oil. High temperature treatment of the oils resulted in an increased average molecular weight. The changes in the initial conformation of the double bond systems observed with FTIR were supported by HPLC-APCI-MS measurements that showed the formation of a number of new isomeric TAGs in the heated oil compared to freshly pressed, untreated oil. Oligomerisation up to hexamers was observed with HPSEC, and MALDI-TOF-MS. The formation of oligomers up to trimers only, however, was observed with ESI-FTICR-MS. Incorporation of oxygen was mainly observed with MALDI-TOF-MS and ESI-FTICR-MS whereas with DTMS and FTIR hardly any evidence was found for this.  相似文献

This study examined the antiradical activity and chemical composition of essential oils of some plants grown in Mosul, Iraq. The essential oils of myrtle and parsley seed contained α-pinene (36.08% and 22.89%, respectively) as main constituents. Trans-Anethole was the major compound found in fennel and aniseed oils (66.98% and 93.51%, respectively). The dominant constituent of celery seed oil was limonene (76.63%). Diallyl disulphide was identified as the major component in garlic oil (36.51%). Antiradical activity was higher in garlic oil (76.63%) and lower in myrtle oil (39.23%). The results may suggest that some essential oils from Iraq possess compounds with antiradical activity, and these oils can be used as natural antioxidants in food applications.  相似文献

Oil extraction from onion was performed by steam distillation. Response surface methodology was applied to evaluate the effects of ratio of water to raw material, extraction time, zymolysis temperature and distillation times on yield of onion oil. The maximum extraction yield (1.779‰) was obtained as following conditions: ratio of water to raw material was 1, extraction time was 2.5 h, zymolysis temperature was 36° and distillation time was 2.6 h. The experimental values agreed well with those predicted by regression model. The chemical composition of extracted onion oil under the optimum conditions was analysed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry technology. The results showed that sulphur compounds, like alkanes, sulphide, alkenes, ester and alcohol, were the major components of onion oil.  相似文献

Characterization of volatile compounds composition and evaluation of antioxidant properties of bee pollen collected in Lithuania is presented in the paper, which is the first study on pollen of Lithuanian origin to our knowledge. Three polyfloral pollen samples collected by honey bees were analyzed. Characterization of volatile compounds was performed using solid phase microextraction (SPME) and GC-MS. Styrene was predominant in all samples contributing 19.6–27.0 mass %. Sample A distinguished by a high amount of limonene, 9.0 mass %, sample B differed from the rest by a high content of hexanal, 9.3 mass %, and nonanal, 12.3 mass %, while sample C showed the highest content of 1-tridecene, 43.3 mass %. Screening of antioxidant properties was carried out by spectrophotometric methods and liquid chromatography coupled with a post-column 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) reaction detector and electrochemical detector. Total phenolic and flavonoid contents together with radical scavenging activity in the free radical (DPPH) model system were evaluated in the tested samples. Total phenolic content varied from 24.4 mg g?1 to 38.9 mg g?1, total flavonoid content was in the range of 7.3–10.0 mg g?1 and radical scavenging activity was found between 30.7 mg g?1 and 34.9 mg g?1, all data are expressed in rutin equivalents. To process the collected data statistically and classify the bee pollen samples to clusters according to their volatile composition and antioxidant activity, principal component analysis, hierarchical cluster analysis and non-linear discriminant analysis were applied.  相似文献

The effects of cement dust on the yield and chemical composition of the essential oil were investigated in Cupressus sempervirens. Exposure to cement dust resulted in a significant increase in the essential oil yields. Significant factory distance-related changes in qualitative and quantitative composition of the essential oil were observed. Increasing pollution with dust increased the content of monoterpene hydrocarbons concomitant to increase of α-pinene, suggesting a redirection of the secondary metabolism of C. sempervirens towards biosynthesis of monoterpenes. In contrast, oxygenated monoterpenes and sesquiterpene hydrocarbons were strongly reduced. These results provide an overall picture of the different responses of monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes to air pollution caused by cement dust. They also reveal the suitability of using C. sempervirens in the creation of green areas around cement factories and encourage the use of dusted plants as potential source of valuable natural products.  相似文献
