1 INTRODUCTION Organotin esters of carboxylic acid are widely used as biocides and fungicides and as homogeneous cata- lysts in industry[1~3]. In recent years, the pharmaceu- tical properties of carboxylic acid have been investi- gated for the antitumour activity[4~6]. In general, bio- cidcal activities of organotin complexes are greatly influenced by the molecular structures and coordina- tion numbers of the tin atom[7, 8]. It is revealed that organotin complexes containing carboxylate l…  相似文献

The diorganotin(IV) dichlorides R2SnCl2 (R: Ph, PhCH2 or n‐Bu) react with 2‐mercapto‐6‐nitrobenzothiazole (MNBT) in benzene to give [Ph2SnCl(MNBT)] ( 1 ), [(PhCH2)2Sn(MNBT)2] ( 2 ) and [(n‐Bu)2Sn(MNBT)2] ( 3 ). The three complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis and IR, 1H, 13C and 119Sn NMR spectroscopies. X‐ray studies of the crystal structures of 1 , 2 and 3 show the following. The tin environment for complex 1 is distorted cis‐trigonal bipyramid with chlorine and nitrogen atoms in apical positions. The structure of complex 2 is a distorted octahedron with two benzyl groups in the axial sites. The geometry at the tin atom of complex 3 is that of an irregular octahedron. Interestingly, intra‐molecular non‐bonded Cl…S interactions and S…S interaction were recognized in the crystallographic structures of 1 and 3 respectively. As a result, complex 1 is a polymer and complex 3 is a dimer. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Ten organotin derivatives of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole (Hmbt), 2-mercaptobenzoxazole (Hmbo) and 2-mercaptobenzimidazole (Hmbi) have been synthesised and thier structures characterised by spectroscopic methods. Triorganotin derivatives are all S-bonded to the ligand and four-coordinate at tin except Bu3Sn(mbo) which is five-coordinate trans-ONSnR3 polymer at 78K. The crystal structure of Cy3Sn(mbt) has been determined and confirms the tetrahedral geometry at tin. Bu2Sn(mbt)2 is weakly six-coordinate by N,S chelating ligands. Biocidal activity patterns are presented for Cy3Sn(mbt), Ph3Sn(mbt) and Ph3Sn(mbo).  相似文献

Seven novel R2Sn(IV)-oxydiacetate (oda) and -iminodiacetate (ida) compounds of the form [R2Sn(oda)(H2O)]2 (R = Me, nBu, and Ph) (1-3), [(R2SnCl)2(oda)(H2O)2]n (R = Et, iBu, and tBu) (4-6), and [Me2Sn(ida)(MeOH)]2 (7) have been synthesized and characterized by IR, 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR (solution), solid-state 119Sn CPMAS NMR, and (119m)Sn M?ssbauer spectroscopy. The crystal structure of [Me2Sn(oda)(H2O)]2, 1, shows it to be dinuclear (centrosymmetric), with two seven-coordinated tin atoms, bridged by one arm of the carboxylate group from each oda. By contrast, the crystal structure of [(Et2SnCl)2(oda)(H2O)2]n, 4, comprises a zigzag polymeric assembly containing a pair of different alternating subunits, {Et2SnCl(H2O)} and {Et2SnCl(H2O)(oda)}, which are connected by way of bridging oda carboxylates, thus giving seven-coordinate tin centers in both components. Finally, the structure of [Me2Sn(ida)(MeOH)]2, 7, also centrosymmetric dinuclear, is comprised of a pair of mononuclear units with seven-coordinate tin. The 119Sn solid-state CPMAS NMR and (119m)Sn Mossbauer suggest the presence of seven-coordinate Sn metal atoms in some derivatives and the existence of two different tin sites in the [(R2SnCl)2(oda)(H2O)2]n compounds.  相似文献

The title complex {[(n-C8H17)2Sn(O2CCH2CS2NC4H8O)]2O}2 has been synthesized by the reaction of (morpholinylthiocarbamoylthio)acetic acid with the di-n-octyltin oxide in 1∶1 molar ratio. The complex was characterized by elemental analysis, IR and 1H NMR. The crystal and molecular structure of complex was determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The crystal belongs to triclinic system with space group P1 and unit cell dimensions: a=1.201 5(9) nm, b=1.481 8(11) nm, c=1.894 1(14) nm, α=72.485(10)°, β=88.586(10)°, γ=66.893(9)°, and Z=1, μ=1.034 mm-1, V=2.941(4) nm3, Dc=1.295 g·cm-3, F(000)=1 196, R1=0.058 8, wR2=0.155 8. The complex is a centrosymmetric structure with a four-membered central endo-cyclic Sn2O2 unit in which two bridged oxygen atoms both connect with an exo-cyclic tin atom. The endo-cyclic tin atoms and the exo-cyclic tin atom are all five-coordinate and have coordination geometry of distorted trigonal bipyramid with an additional weak coordination carboxylate oxygen. Four carboxylate ligands are divided into two types. And two of them are monodentate and connecting to each of exo-cyclic tin atoms by using one oxygen atom, whereas the others bridge to each pair of exo-and endo-cyclic tin atoms utilizing one oxygen atom. Twenty-four 2,2-di-n-butyl- and 2,2-diphenyl-6-aza-1,3-dioxa-2-stannabenzocyclononen-4-ones, each having a transannular N-->Sn bond, have been prepared by one-step reactions of alpha-amino acids (1 a-l), salicylaldehyde (2), and either di-n-butyltin(IV) oxide (3) or diphenyltin(IV) oxide (4). The new methodology constitutes an easy, highly efficient one-step synthesis of diorganotin(IV) derivatives, such as 5 a-l and 6 a-l, from iminic tridentate ligands without isolation of the Schiff bases. The structures of all the compounds have been established by a combination of (1)H, (13)C, (15)N, and (119)Sn NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis. In all cases, the (119)Sn chemical shifts, as well as the (1)J((119)Sn,(13)C) coupling constants, are indicative of pentacoordinated tin atoms in solution. The structures of compounds 5 a, d, f, 6 a, b, b-racemic, c, d, f, g, and l have been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. The tin atoms in 5 d, f, 6 a, b, b-racemic, c, d, g, and l each have a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal (TBP) geometry, with the oxygen atoms from the phenol and carboxylate moieties occupying the axial positions, and the imine nitrogen and phenyl or n-butyl substituents occupying the equatorial positions. Compounds 5 a and 6 f show distorted octahedral (DOC) geometries due to intermolecular coordination of the carbonyl oxygen to the tin atom, in a trans disposition to the N-->Sn bond, leading to trimeric 5 a and a polymeric structure for compound 6 f. Additionally, measurement of the one-bond coupling constants (1)J((119)Sn,(13)C) in diphenyltin(IV) complexes (6 a-l) and their correlation with the CSn-C bond angles has allowed the derivation of an equation that can be applied to assess the geometry around the tin atom for other diphenyltin(IV) compounds in solution.  相似文献

A series of diorganotin(IV) compounds of the type [R(2)Sn(pca)Cl](3)(R = CH(3); (n)Bu; C(6)H(5); C(6)H(5)CH(2); Hpca = 2-pyrazinecarboxylic acid), R(2)Sn(pca)(2)(mH(2)O)xnH(2)O (m= 1: R = CH(3), n= 2, R =(n)Bu, n= 0; m= 0, n= 0: R =(n)Bu, C(6)H(5), C(6)H(5)CH(2)) and (Et(3)NH)(+)[R(2)Sn(pca)(2)Cl](-)xmH(2)O (m= 0: R = CH(3), (n)Bu, C(6)H(5)CH(2); m= 1: R = C(6)H(5)) have been obtained by reactions of 2-pyrazinecarboxylic acid with diorganotin(iv) dichloride in the presence of sodium ethoxide or triethylamine. All compounds were characterized by elemental, IR and NMR spectra analyses. Except for compounds, and, the others were also characterized by X-ray crystallography diffraction analyses, which revealed that compounds and were trinuclear macrocyclic structures with six-coordinate tin(IV) atoms, compounds and were monomeric structures with seven-coordinate tin(IV) atoms, compounds and were polymeric chain structures with seven-coordinate tin(IV) atoms and compounds and were stannate with seven-coordinate tin(IV) atoms.  相似文献

Three mononuclear organotin(IV) complexes supported by Schiff bases have been synthesized. The complexes [(C6H5)2Sn(L)] ( 1 ), [(t‐Bu)2Sn(L)] ( 2 ) and [(t‐Bu)2Sn(L')] ( 3 ) (L, L' = deprotonated Schiff bases) were obtained in good yield by the reaction of Schiff bases H 2 L or H 2 L′ with corresponding diorganotin dichlorides respectively. All newly synthesized complexes were characterized by means of FT‐IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and multinuclear (1H, 13C and 119Sn) NMR spectroscopy. In addition, single crystal X‐ray diffraction analyses were employed to establish the solid state molecular structures of these complexes. The structures of 1 – 3 reveal that all complexes are mononuclear with a five‐coordinated tin(IV) centre in it. The absorption and emission properties of all complexes have been investigated. Moreover, cytotoxicity and fluorescence cell imaging studies of theses complexes have been performed.  相似文献

Organotin(IV) complexes of tribenzyltin(IV) chloride and di(para-chlorobenzyl)tin(IV) dichloride with thiohydrazides have been reported. The ligands synthesized were bidentate coordinating through sulphur and terminal nitrogen atoms. These form 1:1 metal-ligand complexes. The following organotin(IV) complexes have been synthesized: (C(6)H(5)CH(2))(3)Sn(L(1))Cl, (p-ClC(6)H(4)CH(2))(2)Sn(L(1))Cl(2), (C(6)H(5)CH(2))(3)Sn(L(1))Cl, (p-ClC(6)H(4)CH(2))(2)Sn(L(2))Cl(2), (C(6)H(5)CH(2))(3)Sn(L(3))Cl, (p-ClC(6)H(4)CH(2))(2)Sn(L(3))Cl(2), where (L(1)): 2-phenylethyl N-thiohydrazide, (L(2)): N-(2-phenylethyl-N-thio)-1,3-propane diamine, (L(3)): N-(2-phenylethyl-N-thio)-1,2-ethane diamine. The complexes were synthesized by directly mixing, refluxing and stirring the ligands with organotin(IV) chlorides in a suitable solvent. The complexes were found to be pure and were characterized by elemental analysis, electronic, infrared, (1)H and (13)C NMR spectroscopy. These complexes were also studied for their thermal decomposition by thermogravimetry (TG) and differential thermal analysis (DTA). Various kinetic and thermodynamic parameters, viz. activation energy (E(a)), order of reaction (n), apparent activation entropy (S(#)) and heat of reaction (DeltaH) have been determined by using Horowitz-Metzger method. It was observed that these complexes are highly stable and the thermal degradation of these complexes is a spontaneous process. The ligands and their tin complexes have also been screened for their fungitoxicity activity and found to be quite active in this respect.  相似文献

Four new organotin(IV) complexes with 2-hydroxynaphthaldehyde-N(4)-ethylthiosemicarbazone [(H2DNET), (1)] of the type [MeSnCl(DNET] (2), [BuSnCl(DNET)] (3), [PhSnCl(DNET)] (4), and [Ph2Sn(DNET] (5) have been synthesized by the direct reaction of H2DNET (1) with organotin(IV) chloride(s) in the presence of potassium hydroxide in absolute methanol. All the compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductivity, UV-Vis, IR, 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR spectral studies. The molecular structure of ligand (1) has been confirmed by X-ray single crystal diffraction. Spectroscopic data clearly suggested that Sn(IV) center is coordinated with the ONS tridentate ligand (H2DNET) and exhibits a five-coordinate geometry in solution. Antibacterial studies were carried out in vitro against four bacterial strains. All organotin(IV) compounds (2–5) showed good activity against various bacteria but lower activity than the reference drug (Ciprofloxacin). The results demonstrate that organic groups attached to tin(IV) moiety have significant effect on their biological activities. Among them, diphenyltin(IV) derivative 5 exhibits significantly good activity than the other organotin(IV) derivatives (2–4).  相似文献

New diphenyltin(IV) complexes of empirical formula, [Sn(C6H5)2(NS)Cl] (NS = anionic forms of the acetone Schiff bases of S-methyl or S-benzyldithiocarbazate) have been prepared and characterized by IR, NMR and Mössbauer spectroscopic techniques. The crystal and molecular structures of the acetone Schiff bases of S-methyldithiocarbazate (Hacsme) and S-benzyldithiocarbazate (Hacsbz) and their tin(IV) complexes have been determined by X-ray diffraction. In the solid state, both the Schiff bases exist in their thioketo tautomeric forms with the azomethine nitrogen atom trans to the thione sulfur atom but in the tin(IV) complexes they are present in their deprotonated ene-thiolate forms being coordinated to the tin atom as bidentate chelating agents via the azomethine nitrogen and thiolate sulfur atoms. The tin atom adopts a five-coordinate, approximately trigonal bipyramidal geometry, with the thiolate sulfur atom of the Schiff base and the two phenyl groups occupying the equatorial positions. The azomethine nitrogen atom and the chlorine ligand occupy axial positions. The distortion from a regular trigonal bipyramidal or a square-pyramidal geometry is attributed to the restricted bite sizes of the five-membered chelate rings.  相似文献

Introduction Metal thiolato complexes have been extensively investigated because of their ability to adopt various nuclearities and their relevance in biological science, since they form the inorganic part of the biologically active centers of some metalloproteins and enzymes.1-3 Recently, attention has been paid to the coordination chemistry of heterocyclic thiol/thione donors, which can give potential access to new compounds with unusual structures and reactivities,4 such as 2-mercaptobenzo-…  相似文献

A series of organotin(IV) complexes with 2‐mercapto‐5‐methyl‐1,3,4‐thiadiazole (HL) of the type R3 Sn(L) (R = Me 1 ; Bu 2 ; Ph 3 ; PhCH2 4 ) and R2Sn(L)2 (R = CH3 5 ; Ph 6 ; PhCH2 7 ; Bu 8 ) have been synthesized. All complexes 1–8 were characterized by elemental analysis, IR,1H, 13 C, and 119Sn NMR spectra. Among these, complexes 1 , 3 , 4 , and 7 were also determined by X‐ray crystallography. The tin atoms of complexes 1 , 3 , and 4 are all penta‐coordinated and the geometries at tin atoms of complexes 3 and 4 are distorted trigonal–bipyramidal. Interestingly, complex 1 has formed a 1D polymeric chain through Sn and N intermolecular interactions. The tin atom of complex 7 is hexa‐coordinated and its geometry is distorted octahedral. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Three new diorganotin(IV) complexes, [Me2Sn(BDET] (2), [Bu2Sn(BDET)] (3), and [Ph2Sn(BDET)] (4), were synthesized by reacting R2SnCl2 (R = Me, Bu, and Ph) with 5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde-N(4)-ethylthiosemicarbazone [H2BDET, (1)] in the presence of KOH in absolute methanol. The newly synthesized complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, UV–vis, FT-IR, 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR spectroscopies. The molecular structure of 4 was confirmed by X-ray crystallography. X-ray crystallography revealed that the doubly deprotonated O,N,S-tridentate thiosemicarbazone coordinates to tin(IV), resulting in a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry. Their 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR spectra support a five-coordinate tin(IV) in solution for all complexes, in accord with the solid-state X-ray structure determined for 4. Compounds 14 were evaluated for their antibacterial activities against Staphylococcus aureus, Enterobacter aerogenes, Escherichia coli, and Salmonella typhi. The results exhibited that 24 were active with comparable potency compared to the standard drug. Antibacterial studies also indicated that the complexes have potential for biological evaluation.  相似文献

Fifteen new tris[(4-fluorophenyldimethylsilyl)methyl]tin O,O-dialkyldithiophosphates were synthesized and characterized by IR, 1 H NMR, MS spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction, and elemental analysis. The crystal structure of [(4-FC 6 H 4 SiMe 2 CH 2 ) 3 Sn] 2 O has been determined. The structure consists of four-coordinated tin atoms in a slightly distorted tetrahedral geometry with an O atom bridge between the two Sn atoms.  相似文献

This study encompasses the synthesis and characterization of organotin(IV) derivatives of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug ibuprofen (IBF), viz. [(Me3Sn)(IBF)] ( 1 ), [(Bu3Sn)(IBF)] ( 2 ), [Ph3Sn(IBF)] ( 3 ), {[Me2Sn(IBF)]2O}2 ( 4 ) and [Bu2Sn(IBF)2] ( 5 ). The crystal structure of complex 3 , [Ph3Sn(IBF)], indicates a highly distorted tetrahedral (td) geometry with anisobidentate mode of coordination of the carboxylate group with tin atom, and a similar structure has been proposed for other two triorganotin(IV) derivatives. Moreover, the DFT (density functional theory) calculation and other studies have verified a dimer distannoxane type of structure for complex 4 , {[Me2Sn(IBF)]2O}2. Complex 5 has been found to exhibit a highly distorted octahedral geometry around the tin atom. To investigate the DNA binding profile of the synthesized complexes, viscosity measurement, UV–vis and fluorescence titrations were performed, which revealed an intercalative type of binding with DNA for IBF and complex 5 and external binding in case of the complexes 1 and 2 ; complexes 3 and 4 could not be studied owing to their insufficient solubility in tris buffer. Plasmid DNA fragmentation studies of IBF and complexes 1 , 2 and 5 indicate that they cleaved the pBR322 plasmid potentially. Further, the drugs IBF {2-[4-(2-methylpropyl)phenyl]propanoic acid}, MESNA (sodium 2-mercaptoethane-sulfonate), warfarin [2H-1-benzopyran-2-one,4-hydroxy-3-(3-oxo-1-phenylbutyl)], sulindac (2-{5-fluoro-1-[(4-methanesulfinylphenyl) methylidene]-2-methyl-1H-inden-3-yl}acetic acid) and their corresponding organotin(IV) complexes 1–19 (complexes 6–19 were synthesized/reported previously) were screened in vitro for cytotoxicity against human cancer cell lines viz. DU145 (prostate cancer), HCT-15 (colon adenocarcinoma), Caco-2 (colorectal adenocarcinoma), MCF-7 (mammary cancer), LNCaP (androgen-sensitive prostate adenocarcinoma) and HeLa (cervical cancer), through MTT reduction assay and the cause of cell death was investigated through acridine orange/ethidium bromide staining of cells and DNA fragmentation assay. The probable structure–cytotoxicity relationship is also discussed. The major role of apoptosis along with small necrosis was also validated by flow cytometry assay using annexin V–fluorescein isothiocyanate and propidium iodide analysis.  相似文献

The reaction of nBuSnCl3 and the sodium salt of 2-mercaptoethanol (1:1) in ethanol gave the compound Sn(nBu)(Cl)[(OCH2CH2S)2Sn(nBu)]2 (1). [(nBu)Sn(SCH2CH2O)SCH2CH2OH] (2) was initially isolated from the reaction of 1 with nBuMgCl as a rearrangement product but was also synthesized from nBuSn(O)OH and two molar equivalents of 2-mercaptoethanol. Both compounds were characterized by means of IR, 119Sn, 13C, and 1H NMR, FAB mass spectroscopy, and elemental analyses. The structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic Cc space group (a = 18.492(3) A, b = 17.329(2) A, c = 10.787(1) A, beta = 111.88(1) degrees, Z = 4), while 2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pbca space group (a = 14.458(2) A, b = 10.393(1) A, c = 16.479(2) A, Z = 8). 1 is a trimetallic Tin(IV) compound in which the central atom is in 6-fold coordination, while the two remaining tin atoms show 5-fold coordination. Both pentacoordinated tin atoms are bonded to a butyl group and to the oxygen and the sulfur atoms from two [OCH2CH2S]2- ligands forming two stannolanes, which are fused with the hexacoordinated tin atom forming a distannoxane system. This arrangement is quite different from previous ladder or staircase structures. NMR data point to maintenance of this structure in solution. 2 consists of [(nBu)Sn(SCH2CH2O)(SCH2CH2OH)] units, which are associated via intermolecular Sn-O interactions building up a dimer. The tin atom forms two "stannolane" units by interaction with [OCH2CH2S]2- and [HOCH2CH2S]- ligands.  相似文献

In this study, chlorophenyltin(IV) [(C6H5)(Cl)Sn(L)2] and diphenyltin(IV) [(C6H5)2Sn(L)2] of N-methyl-N-hydroxyethyldithiocarbamate were prepared and characterized using various spectroscopic methods (FTIR, 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR) and elemental analysis. The FTIR and NMR spectral data, used to establish the structure of the compounds, showed the formation of the complexes via coordination to the two sulfur atoms from the dithiocarbamate ligand and the respective phenyltin(IV) derivatives. This coordination mode was further explored by DFT calculations, which showed that the bonding around the Sn center in [(C6H5)2Sn(L)2] was more asymmetric compared to the bonding around [(C6H5)(Cl)Sn(L)2]. However, the Sn–S bonds in [(C6H5)(Cl)Sn(L)2] were found to be more covalent than those in [(C6H5)2Sn(L)2]. Furthermore, the charge density of the frontier orbitals showed that the Sn atom in the complexes is relatively electrophilic and the Sn atom in [(C6H5)2Sn(L)2] has a lower atomic dipole moment than that of [(C6H5)(Cl)Sn(L)2]. The cytotoxicity and anti-inflammatory study revealed that [(C6H5)2Sn(L)2], with the higher number of phenyl substituents, has a higher potency than [(C6H5)(Cl)Sn(L)2]. The bio-efficacy study of these complexes as cytotoxic and anti-inflammatory agents showed that the complexes possessed moderate to high activity in comparison to the camptothecin and diclofenac in each case. Nevertheless, the diphenyltin(IV) derivative [(C6H5)2Sn(L)2] was found to possess a better activity than its counterpart due to the number of phenyl rings attached to the Sn center.  相似文献
