The so-called type problem or forcing problem is considered as a way to generalize Sharkovskii's theorem. In this paper, by focusing on certain types of orbits, we obtain a solution of the type problem, which gives a refinement of Sharkovskii's theorem on orbit types characterized by two parameters.  相似文献

We consider an inhomogeneous Tricomi problem for a parabolic-hyperbolic equation with noncharacteristic type change line and with Frankl type matching condition for the normal derivatives on the type change line. The auxiliary function method is used to establish an a priori estimate of the solution. The existence of the solution is proved by the spectral method.  相似文献

We consider the three-dimensional Dirichlet problem for equations of elliptic type in inhomogeneous media. The problem can be reduced to a system of loaded Fredholm integral equations of the second kind over the volume. We prove the uniqueness of a classical solution of the problem. We suggest a numerical solution algorithm of iterative type. An example of the numerical solution of the problem is considered, and the convergence of the iterative procedure is demonstrated numerically.  相似文献

In this paper the Tricomi problem for a nonlinear mixed type equation is studied. The coefficients of the mixed type equation are discontinuous on the line, where the equation changes its type. The existence of solution to this problem is proved. The method developed in this paper can be applied to study more difficult problems for nonlinear mixed type equations arising in gas dynamics.  相似文献

A system of first order equations of mixed type, which may be reduced to a general second order equation of mixed type, is considered. Uniqueness of solution to the generalized Tricomi problem is proved by the method of auxiliary function. We study the solvability of the Gellerstedt problem for the Lavrent’ev–Bitsadze equation with nonclassical matching conditions for the gradient of the solution (in the sense of Frankl) on the type change line of the equation. We prove that the inhomogeneous Gellerstedt problem with data on the external characteristics of the equation is solvable either uniquely or modulo a nontrivial solution of the homogeneous problem. We obtain integral representations of the solution of the problem in both the elliptic and the hyperbolic parts of the domain. The solution proves to be regular.  相似文献

An optimal control problem is considered for a system described by a singular equation of parabolic type. The study bases on a special regularization method. We establish existence of a solution to the regularized problem, as well as the corresponding necessary optimality conditions. This paper discusses the problem of determining an unknown source which depends only on one variable in two-dimensional Poisson equation from one supplementary temperature measurement at an internal point. The problem is ill-posed in the sense that the solution (if it exists) does not depend continuously on the data. The regularization solution is obtained by the modified regularization method. For the regularization solution, the Hölder type stability estimate between the regularization solution and the exact solution is given. Numerical results are presented to illustrate the accuracy and efficiency of this method.  相似文献

For a parabolic-hyperbolic equation, we study the three-dimensional analog of the Tricomi problem with a noncharacteritic plane on which the type of the equation changes. The uniqueness of the solution to the problem is proved by the method of a priori estimates, and the existence of a solution is reduced to the existence of a solution to a Volterra integral equation of the second kind.  相似文献

In this paper, a new algorithm to solve a general 0–1 programming problem with linear objective function is developed. Computational experiences are carried out on problems where the constraints are inequalities on polynomials. The solution of the original problem is equivalent with the solution of a sequence of set packing problems with special constraint sets. The solution of these set packing problems is equivalent with the ordering of the binary vectors according to their objective function value. An algorithm is developed to generate this order in a dynamic way. The main tool of the algorithm is a tree which represents the desired order of the generated binary vectors. The method can be applied to the multi-knapsack type nonlinear 0–1 programming problem. Large problems of this type up to 500 variables have been solved.  相似文献

The complex Monge–Ampère equation is a nonlinear equation with high degree; therefore getting its solution is very difficult. In the present paper how to get the solution of Dirichlet’s problem of the complex Monge–Ampère equation on the Cartan–Hartogs domain of the first type is discussed, using an analytic method. Firstly, the complex Monge–Ampère equation is reduced to a nonlinear ordinary differential equation, then the solution of Dirichlet’s problem of the complex Monge–Ampère equation is reduced to the solution of a two-point boundary value problem for a nonlinear second-order ordinary differential equation. Secondly, the solution of Dirichlet’s problem is given as a semi-explicit formula, and in a special case the exact solution is obtained. These results may be helpful for a numerical method approach to Dirichlet’s problem of the complex Monge–Ampère equation on the Cartan–Hartogs domain of the first type.  相似文献

A spectral method is applied to formulate a regularized solution, and a Hölder type estimate of the error between the approximate solution and the exact solution is obtained with a suitable choice of regularization parameter.  相似文献

For an equation of the mixed elliptic-hyperbolic type we investigate the boundary-value problem, when on the elliptic part of domain boundary a co-normal derivative of solution is given, and in the hyperbolic part the generalized fractional derivatives of solution value on characteristics are pointwise connected with the solution value and its derivative on the line of parabolic degeneration. Under certain conditions the problem of morphogenesis in development and the problem of morphology in block copolymers may be reduced to one geometric problem. In two dimensions two new types of solutions are found. The first type of solution is a disconnected set of many components, each of which is close to a ring. The sizes and locations of the rings are precisely determined from the parameters and the domain shape of the problem. The solution of the second type has a coexistence pattern. Each component of the solution is either close to a ring or to a round disc. The first-type solutions are stable for certain parameter values but unstable for other values; the second-type solutions are always unstable. In both cases one establishes the equal area condition: the components in a solution all have asymptotically the same area.  相似文献

For a third-order differential equation of parabolic-hyperbolic type, we suggest a method for studying the first boundary value problem by solving an inverse problem for a second-order equation of mixed type with unknown right-hand side. We obtain a uniqueness criterion for the solution of the inverse problem. The solution of the inverse problem and the Dirichlet problem for the original equation is constructed in the form of the sum of a Fourier series.  相似文献

Some optimal control problem is studied for the stationary motion equations for the Jeffreys medium with the slip condition of the Navier type on the boundary. In this study, a new approach is developed to solve the initial value problem for interval linear differential equations. In the considered problem, the coefficients and the initial values are constant intervals. In the developed approach, there is no need to define a derivative for interval-valued functions. All derivatives used in the approach are classical derivatives of real functions. The reason for this is that the solution of the problem is defined as a bunch of real functions. Such a solution concept is compatible also with the robust stability concept. Sufficient conditions are provided for the solution to be expressed analytically. In addition, on a numerical example, the solution obtained by the proposed approach is compared with the solution obtained by the generalized Hukuhara differentiability. It is shown that the proposed approach gives a new type of solution. The main advantage of the proposed approach is that the solution to the considered interval initial value problem exists and is unique, as in the real case.  相似文献
