We report a wide bandwidth (Δλ=8 nm) optical pulsed MOPA (master oscillator power amplifier) source emitting 11.23 mJ pulses (1.25 MW peak power) in the wavelength centered at (λ=1064 nm). Pulse duration and repetition rate were 9 ns and from 10 Hz to 100 Hz, respectively. In order to suppress amplified spontaneous emission (ASE), multi-stage pulse pump technology is applied. And the large core diameter (90 μm) and wide bandwidth ensures the high peak power and energy output. 相似文献

烟火泵浦是激光器小型化、便携化的一种解决方法。研制了一种用于钕玻璃激光器泵浦源的化学试剂,其主要成分为金属粉和碱金属含氧酸盐。设计了烟火泵浦钕玻璃激光器实验装置,激光器采用平-凹腔结构、紧包型侧面泵浦,输出镜反射率98%,钕玻璃棒尺寸f8 mm×100 mm。采用A,B两种配方的泵浦源进行出光实验,A配方得到了波长为1 053 nm能量为29 mJ的激光,B配方没有出光。分别计算了两种泵浦源的阈值辐射强度,并与测量得到的药剂辐射强度平均值比较。A配方所提供的辐射强度2.68×104 W·sr-1,大于阈值2.37×104 W·sr-1;B配方小于阈值,未能出光。这与实验结果吻合,证明烟火泵浦方法可行。 相似文献

We report >50-mJ Q-switched energy output from a 2.09-microm Ho:YAG oscillator, resonantly pumped at 1.9-microm by a diode-pumped Tm:YLF laser. We demonstrate a Q-switched-to-normal-mode extraction efficiency of 100% at an output energy of 30 mJ and over 64% at the 50-mJ output level. Operating at 50 mJ (60 Hz) of output, a pulse width of 14 ns is achieved from the holmium oscillator, which corresponds to approximately 3.6 MW of peak power. At the 50-mJ output level, a beam-propagation factor M2 approximately 1.2 is achieved. 相似文献

An efficient double-pulse Ho:Tm:YLF 2-microm laser with total Q-switched output energy of 600 mJ has been demonstrated. A double-pulse pair is obtained per pump pulse. By operation of the laser in a double-pulse format, the residual energy stored among the Tm ions is transferred to the Ho atoms that were de-excited by the extraction of the first Q-switched pulse. Thus, the overall laser efficiency is increased by 61%. 相似文献

A tunable single short pulse laser system with a transform–limited bandwidth pumped by a picosecond Nd:YAG laser (ca. 120 ps
pulse width) is demonstrated. With this configuration, the relaxation oscillations coming from a distributed feedback dye
laser cavity are completely removed. Because the pumping pulsewidth is shorter than the lifetime of dye molecule on the upper
laser state, the gain of the laser medium is depleted by the first pulse. The laser wavelength could be precisely tuned with
the transform-limited bandwidth (for example, a linewidth of 0.02 nm). After amplification, we obtain a single short laser

介绍一种大功率半导体激光泵浦固体激光器(DPSSL)脉冲驱动电源的设计电路及其控制方法。根据半导体激光器的工作特性,采用前级电容充电电路与后级脉冲电流产生电路相结合的电路结构。由于LCC谐振电路具有软开关特性和抗负载短路、开路的能力,又能够实现对储能电容恒流充电的功能,因此其适合做为脉冲电源中储能电容的充电电路;后级脉冲电流产生电路选择大功率MOSFET做为主控器件,利用MOSFET饱和区的漏极电流可控性,通过栅极电压控制产生负载脉冲电流。控制部分采用模拟与数字相结合的控制方式,使脉冲电源控制更加灵活,引入脉冲电流指令给定积分器,可以更有效地控制脉冲电流上升过程,抑制电流过冲,提高控制精度,使脉冲驱动电源产生类似矩形波的大功率脉冲电流。搭建了脉冲功率为28 kW的实验平台,实验达到的指标:脉冲电流幅值80 A,脉冲电压350 V,脉冲宽度100 μs,重复频率100 Hz。 相似文献

对重复脉冲泵浦的管状YAG激光器的3维温度分布进行了深入研究,计算模拟了管状介质在不同时刻的3维动态温升分布。计算结果表明,泵浦初始阶段,介质中各点的瞬态温升均随泵浦脉冲个数呈锯齿形增长,最大温升点的位置由介质内壁随时间逐渐向介质内部移动;经过大约490个脉冲泵浦后,介质内的瞬态温升最终随时间呈重复周期性变化,最大温升点将不再移动。当温升分布呈重复周期性变化后,激光管中心部分的温升较大,内外壁的温升较小,且外壁温升低于内壁温升。 相似文献

The behaviour of an excimer-laser-pumped distributed feedback dye laser (ELP DFDL) using a mixture of saturable absorber and laser dye as an active medium was studied. In a DFDL self-Q-switching occurs because of the population inversion dependence of the feedback. If the DFDL contains absorber saturation of the absorption by the leading edge of the created laser pulse also causes Q-switching. As a result of this double self-Q-switching, mixing a saturable absorber into the laser dye, the laser pulses become shorter and more stable. This was demonstrated experimentally. Mixing Rhodamine B into the dye solution of a Coumarin 153 ELP DFDL, a six-fold reduction in the pulse duration and a more than two-fold reduction in the pulse energy instability were observed. The experimental results were in good qualitative agreement with the predictions of a simple rate equation model. 相似文献

We report on a side-pumped Nd:phosphate laser regenerative amplifier that delivers laser pulses of as much as 100 mJ in a single TEM mode. The laser beam is mode matched to the amplification medium by an intracavity fused-silica phase plate for mode shaping and a telescope for adjustment of the beam mode to the amplification rod section such that most of the energy stored in the rod is transferred to the laser pulses. As a result of the good overlap and the low loss, an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of as much as 10% was measured for a pumping current of 80 A and greater than 100-mJ output pulses. 相似文献

An all solid state master-oscillator-power-amplifier laser system was experimentally investigated using a pulsed-diode-pumped
single-longitudinal-mode Nd:YAG laser as a master oscillator. The system was operated with 400 Hz pulse repetition rate. The
amplifiers contain a pre-amplifier and a power amplifier. A specially designed large aperture tapered fiber as a solid state
phase conjugation mirror was used in the power amplifier to improve the beam quality. The maximum pulse energy of 101 mJ is
obtained after double-pass amplification. The pulse duration is less than 6 ns. The corresponding peak power reached 16.8

利用神光Ⅱ第九路2 ns长脉冲激光束作用厚钛固体靶,研究了产生的keV X射线源的辐射区域和总辐射功率的时间行为。结果表明:在长脉冲激光作用厚固体靶时,硬X射线线辐射功率的时间行为以及辐射体积的时间行为与激光脉冲波形一致;长脉冲时,等离子体2维膨胀效应非常显著,keV X射线线辐射的径向辐射区域在激光焦斑尺寸附近达到饱和,导致X射线线辐射功率出现饱和,且keV X射线线辐射的辐射体积正比于焦斑尺寸的3次方。从理论和实验角度研究了在同样入射激光能量下,辐射功率随激光焦斑尺寸的变化关系,发现keV X射线线辐射的饱和辐射功率正比于焦斑尺寸的5/3次方,理论结果与实验结果一致。并讨论了相同基频输出激光能量下,keV X射线辐射总功率随激光波长的变化关系,发现即使考虑了倍频效率的影响,短波长激光仍然有利于keV X射线的发射。 相似文献

We demonstrate a passively Q-switched fiber laser system generating pulses with as much as 0.1 mJ of pulse energy at 1.53 mum and a >1-kHz repetition rate. These results were achieved with a simple master oscillator-power amplifier scheme with a single pump source, realized with large-mode-area fiber and multiple reflections upon a semiconductor saturable-absorber mirror. 相似文献
