Data on the NMR spectroscopy of C, N, O, Si, P, and Sn donor atoms of platinum metal complexes in solutions are surveyed. The chemical shift of a donor atom mainly depends on the ligand in the trans-position (due to the trans-effect). The chemical shift of a donor atom on a particular coordinate of the complex (coordinate shift, CSh) is an attribute of this coordinate and can be used to identify such a coordinate in platinum metal complexes and to determine the structures of complexes. Based on the known data, CSh diagrams were composed for 1H, 13C, 14N, 17O, 19F, 31P, and 119Sn. Examples of using the CShs for determining the structures of platinum metal complexes in solutions are presented.  相似文献

In the course of our on-going investigation to develop synthetic methods for helical cyclophanes using Diels–Alder methodology, a great variety of polycyclic aromatic compounds have been formed. In some cases, the cycloaddition reactions, in addition to the target compounds, gave rise to unexpected products, which were identified by spectroscopic methods. The structure determination based on NMR measurements and semiempirical calculations of two such new compounds are presented in this paper.  相似文献

A full investigation of the13C CPMAS relaxation times for samples of virgin and aged insulation paper material has revealed the quantitative aspects of the CPMAS technique. We observe, as have others, that the peak due to methyloxy carbon C6 in the solid-state spectrum is reduced in intensity, compared with the other peaks, by ca. 7%. This is a direct result of the difference in relaxation times for the different carbon nuclei. It is shown that simplifying assumptions concerning the relative magnitude of the relaxation times used in the analysis of cross-polarization dynamics are not valid in these materials. Our ongoing study on cycloaddition reactions of dienes with different dienophiles afforded a great variety of derivatives with interesting molecular structures and electronic behavior. A new type of angularly annelated [2.2]paracyclophane (3) has been synthesize by the Diels–Alder reaction of 4-(2-propenyl[2.2]paracyclophane (1) and 1,4-benzoquinone (2) under high pressure conditions. The structure determination of this compound has been achieved by NMR measurements and semiempirical calculations.  相似文献

Structural information of natural organic matter (NOM) at the molecular level is very essential in understanding their nature and reactivity. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is an excellent tool for estimating the gross chemical composition of the very complex humic matter (HM). A well-known fact is that the solid state 13C NMR spectral analysis is very parameter-sensitive especially in the study of the heterogenous HM (e.g. baseline corrections, different pulse techniques and spinning rates of the rotor vs. different disruptive sidebands in the spectra). This being the case, it has been emphasized the importance of qualitative and quantitative analyses for generating as real spectra as possible by means of different pulse and polarization techniques, sampling spinning rates as well as certain correction factors. In the present study a practical accuracy for quantitative determination of NOM type material by solid state 13C NMR spectroscopy was assessed using a known HM sample. Different magnetic-field strengths, sampling spinning rates, single and ramped amplitude cross polarization techniques and TOSS pulse sequence were applied for obtaining a more reliable insight into the disruptive effect of the chemical shift anisotropy (CSA), especially the most disturbing first order spinning side bands (SSB). The results demonstrated that the SSB problem is not so significant as sometimes stated, at least in the context of HM samples and in the light of the overall reproducibility and uncertainty connected with the sample itself.  相似文献

The solid-state structure of a (±)-homonefopam hydrogenfumarate salt having an-O(CH2)3N-fragment was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Homonefopam hydrogenfumarate gave crystals belonging to the monoclinicP21/c space group, and at ambient temperaturea=10.220(1),b=18.187(2),c=10.687(2)A,=94.43(1),V=1980.5(5)å3 Z=4,R(F)=0.039,R w =0.039,R W (F)=0.025. The1H NMR spectrum of homonefopam hydrochloride in CD2Cl2 solution showed two species (7:1 ratio) at the prototropic shift-nitrogen inversion slow exchange limit. The solution-state major species has the same conformation andtrans-to-phenyl axial N-methyl disposition found in the crystal as evidenced by three antiperiplanar vicinal3 J (HH) coupling constants in the oxytrimethyleneamino fragment and vicinal coupling constants involving theN-H proton. TheR-ratio method was used to estimate 64(2) O-C(3)-C(4)-C(5) and 75(3) C(3)-C(4)-C(5)-N(6) dihedral angles for the major species in CD2Cl2 solution in accord with its proposed structure. The finding of C(3)-C(4) bond time-averaged magnitude3 J (HH) values and severe broadening of signals from other minor species protons suggests conformational heterogeneity for the solution-state minor species.  相似文献

Two main reactions were observed in the polydiphenylenesulfophthalide—aniline—cyclohexanone ternary system by13C NMR and IR spectroscopy: (1) condensation of aniline and cyclohexanone to give the corresponding anil; (2) opening of the sulfophthalide ring in the polymer under the action of aniline. Both reactions also take place in the corresponding binary mixtures, and they should be taken into account in studies of the color and paramagnetic centers in this ternary system. A review of the 99 13C NMR spectra of 72 hydroxy, methoxy or ester derivatives of alkaloids with the sparteine skeleton has been made. An improved method of determination of the conformer fractions in conformational equilibria in bis-quinolizidine compounds of sparteine type has been used to estimate the energy of the hydroxy group effect at various positions. Reactions in an Al(OBus)3-(COOH)2 (OA)-tetrahydrofuran (THF)/(CD3)2SO (DMSO-d6) system (Al(OBus)3: THF : DMSO-d6: OA = 1 : 5 : 5 : x, x = 0.01 –3) were studied, without the addition of water and the process was monitored by NMR. When x 0.3, homogeneous solutions were obtained, whereas white precipitates formed with x 0.7. The formation of sec-butyl alcohol was evident with x 0.6, indicating that oxalate groups coordinate to aluminum to release sec-butyl alcohol. 13C NMR spectra of the solutions after 1 day suggest the presence of polymeric species if 0.03 x 0.6. The addition of a small amount of water resulted in the formation of a white precipitate (Al(OBus)3: THF : DMSO-d6 : OA : H2O = 1 : 5 : 5 : 0.3 : y,y = 0.03–0.3), indicating that water, possibly formed by esterification in the Al(OBus)3-OA-THF/DMSO-d6 system, does not take a major role in the present system.  相似文献

Quantitative analysis of specifically deuterated compounds can be achieved by a number of conventional methods, such as mass spectroscopy, or by quantifying the residual 1H NMR signals compared to signals from internal standards. However, site specific quantification using these methods becomes challenging when dealing with non-specifically or randomly deuterated compounds that are produced by metal catalyzed hydrothermal reactions in D2O, one of the most convenient deuteration methods. In this study, deuterium-induced NMR isotope shifts of quaternary 13C resonances neighboring deuterated sites have been utilized to quantify the degree of isotope labeling of molecular sites in non-specifically deuterated molecules. By probing 13C NMR signals while decoupling both proton and deuterium nuclei, it is possible to resolve 13C resonances of the different isotopologues based on the isotopic shifts and the degree of deuteration of the carbon atoms. We demonstrate that in different isotopologues, the same quaternary carbon, neighboring partially deuterated carbon atoms, are affected to an equal extent by relaxation. Decoupling both nuclei (1H, 2H) resolves closely separated quaternary 13C signals of the different isotopologues, and allows their accurate integration and quantification under short relaxation delays (D1 = 1 s) and hence fast accumulative spectral acquisition. We have performed a number of approaches to quantify the deuterium content at different specific sites to demonstrate a convenient and generic analysis method for use in randomly deuterated molecules, or in cases of specifically deuterated molecules where back-exchange processes may take place during work up.  相似文献

The interactions of the La(III) cations with three anions (X), nitrate, chloride and perchlorate, in aqueous solutions in the pH range 4.0–6.5, were studied by139La NMR spectroscopy. A single model, involving the formation of the contact ion-pair (inner-sphere complex) (LaX)2+ was successfully and quantitatively applied to the chemical shift and the transverse relaxation rate data. Both measurements gave values for the thermodynamic equilibrium constants of formation of (LaX)2+ (K th ) in good agreement (average K th =0.45±0.05; 0.15±0.09; 0.03±0.01, respectively for nitrate, chloride and perchlorate). The complexes are characterized by chemical shifts of –25, 22 and –3.1 ppm and by transverse relaxation rates of 11.2, 5 and 1.65 kHz respectively for nitrate, chloride and perchlorate. The139La quadrupolar relaxation rate is not controlled by the reorientational correlation time. This finding is discussed, and it is suggested that the very fast exchange of water molecules in the first coordination sphere of La(III) is responsible for the time fluctuation of the electric field gradient at the139La nucleus site.  相似文献

Nuclear magnetic relaxation rates of2D and14N in binary aqueous mixtures of formamide,N-methylformamide (NMF), andN,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) are reported as a function of the mixture composition. From these intramolecular quadrupolar relaxation data separate rotational correlation times for the two components of the mixture can be determined. The relative variation of the single correlation time as a function of the composition is interpreted in terms of structural changes caused by hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic effects. The results also clearly reflect the expected characteristic variation of these effects on the rotational molecular motions in going from formamide to NMF and DMF. The maximum correlation time retardation of DMF in the aqueous mixture is compared with those of other hydrophobic solvents. A correlation between this maximum retardation and the excess enthalpy of mixing of hydrophobic solvents in aqueous solution can be established graphically.  相似文献

Single-pulse 13C NMR spectra and spin-lattice relaxation times T1(1H), detected indirectly via 13C carbons, and T1(13C) were measured at 31°C for virgin pelletized and annealed polylactic acid (PLA) samples using the magic-angle spinning technique. The structural relaxation resulting in more regular crystals with narrower conformation distribution and increase in the lamellae thickness and crystallinity brought about by annealing at 100°C was deduced from the narrowing of the 13C NMR lines and proton spin-lattice relaxation times T1(1H). The spin-lattice relaxation times T1(13C) related to the respective carbons of the α-polymorph of PLA are also discussed in the study.  相似文献

Assignments of13C chemical shifts and13C-1H coupling constants are presented for six bipyridine derivatives. Some earlier spectral assignments have been corrected. The spectral parameters of the bipyridines are generally very similar to those of the appropriate simple substituted pyridines. Long range interring coupling constants in these compounds have been discussed.

The reaction of [Cp*2RuBr]+Br with bromine in CH2Cl2 (CD2Cl2) in an inert atmosphere at room temperature produces the complexes [Cp*Ru(Br)C5Me4CH2Br]+Br3 (syn conformer), [Cp*Ru(Br)C5Me3(CH2Br)2]+ (syn and anti conformers), and [Ru(Br)(C5Me4CH2Br)2]+ (syn conformer). All complexes were characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy; the former complex, by elemental analysis. The 13C and 1H NMR spectra of the four possible thiolactams of sparteine (1) were recorded and the thiolactam group effects were determined. Most of the effects are greater than those of the lactam group in the oxo analogs. A good linear correlation between the 13C chemical shifts of CS and those of CO was found. The effects could help in assignment of the spectra and determination of conformation of thiolactams and related thiocarbonyl compounds.  相似文献
