An equilibrium problem for a solid with a crack is considered. We assume that both the Coulomb friction law and a nonpenetration condition hold at the crack faces. The problem is formulated as a quasi-variational inequality. Existence of a solution is proved, and a complete system of boundary conditions fulfilled at the crack surface is obtained in suitable spaces.  相似文献

应用半权函数法求解双材料界面裂纹的平面问题.由平衡方程、应力应变关系、界面的连续条件以及裂纹面零应力条件推导出裂尖的位移和应力场,其特征值为lambda及其共轭.设置特征值为lambda的虚拟位移和应力场,即界面裂纹的半权函数A·D2由功的互等定理得到应力强度因子KⅠ和KⅡ以半权函数与绕裂尖围道上参考位移和应力积分关系的表达式.数值算例体现了半权函数法精度可靠、计算简便的特点.  相似文献

The article deals with the spatial problem of the limit equilibrium of an isotropic elastic body weakened by a three-dimensional crack with an almost planar surface. At infinity the body is subjected to tensile constant forces of intensity p. With the small parameter method this problem is reduced to a series of problems for a body with a disk-shaped crack. Under study is the nonlinear equilibrium problem for an elastic Timoshenko-type shallow shell containing a through crack. Some boundary conditions in the form of inequalities are imposed on the curve defining the crack. We establish the unique solvability of the variational statement of the nonlinear problem of the equilibrium of a shell. We prove that, for sufficient smoothness of the solution, the initial variational statement is equivalent to the differential formulation of the problem. We deduce the boundary conditions on the inner boundary that describes the crack. In the case of the zero opening of the crack, we prove the local infinite differentiability of the solution function with additional assumptions on the functions defining the curvatures of the shell and the external loads.  相似文献

Invariant Integrals for the Equilibrium Problem for a Plate with a Crack   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1  
We consider the equilibrium problem for a plate with a crack. The equilibrium of a plate is described by the biharmonic equation. Stress free boundary conditions are given on the crack faces. We introduce a perturbation of the domain in order to obtain an invariant Cherepanov–Rice-type integral which gives the energy release rate upon the quasistatic growth of a crack. We obtain a formula for the derivative of the energy functional with respect to the perturbation parameter which is useful in forecasting the development of a crack (for example, in study of local stability of a crack). The derivative of the energy functional is representable as an invariant integral along a sufficiently smooth closed contour. We construct some invariant integrals for the particular perturbations of a domain: translation of the whole cut and local translation along the cut.  相似文献

A fracture criterion which takes account of the work done in the deformation of bonds in the end zone of a crack is proposed for analysing the quasistatic growth of a crack with bonds in the end zone. The energy condition that the deformation energy release rate at the crack tip is equal to the rate of deformation energy consumption by the bonds in the end zone of the crack (the first fracture condition) corresponds to the state of limit equilibrium of the crack tip. The rupture of bonds at the trailing edge of the end zone is determined by the condition for their limiting traction (the second fracture condition). Starting from these two conditions, the processes of subcritical and quasistatic crack growth are considered for the case of a rectilinear crack at interface of materials and the two basic fracture parameters, the critical external load and the size of the end zone of the crack in the state of limit equilibrium, are determined. Analytical expressions are obtained for the deformation energy release rate at the crack tip and the rate of deformation energy consumption by the bonds and, also, the dependences of the critical external load and size of the end zone of the crack on the crack length in the case of a rectilinear crack in a homogeneous body with bond tractions which are constant and independent of the external load. The limit cases of a crack which is filled with bonds and a crack with a short end zone are considered.  相似文献

采用Schmidt研究了压电材料中对称平行的双可导通裂纹的断裂性能,利用富里叶变换使问题的求解转换为求解两对以裂纹面位移之差为未知变量的对偶积分方程,并采用Schmidt方法来对这两对对偶积分程进行数值求解。结果表明应力强度因子和电位移强度因子与裂纹的几何尺寸有关。与不可导通裂纹有关结果相比,可导通裂纹的电位移强度因子远小于相应问题不可导通裂纹的电位移强度因子。  相似文献

In this paper, a problem of equilibrium of two elastic bodies pasted together along a curve is considered. It is assumed that there is a through crack on a part of the curve. Nonlinear boundary conditions providing mutual non-penetration between the crack faces are set. The main objective of the paper is to construct and test a numerical algorithm for solving the equilibrium problem. The algorithm is based on two approaches: a domain decomposition method and Uzawa method for solving variational inequalities. A numerical experiment illustrates the efficiency of the algorithm.  相似文献

In this study, we examine the dynamic behavior of two bonded dissimilar piezoelectric layers containing multiple interfacial cracks subjected to electro-mechanical impact loading. The problem was formulated through Fourier transformation into singular integral equations in which the unknown variables are the jumps of displacement and electric potential across the crack surface in the Laplace transform domain. The resulting integral equations together with the corresponding single-valued conditions are solved numerically for the densities of electro-elastic dislocations on a crack surface. The dynamic field intensity factors and dynamic energy release rate (DERR) history are obtained for both permeable and impermeable crack. The stress field is also obtained for the interface crack under impact loads. The results show that the field intensity factors at the crack tips and dynamic energy release rate depend on the interfacial crack geometry, electromechanical coupling and the electric boundary conditions on the crack surface.  相似文献

A free boundary problem is considered of the equilibrium of an elastic plate with a crack. We suppose that some boundary mutual nonpenetration conditions are given on the crack faces in the form of simultaneous equalities and inequalities. We suggest a new approach to posing the problem in a smooth domain although it was stated in a domain with cuts originally. We treat the constraints on the components of the displacement vector and stress tensor on the crack faces as interior constraints, i.e., constraints given on subsets of the smooth domain of a solution.  相似文献

The contact deformation of the hub of a plunger pair is considered. It is assumed that, during the repeated reciprocating motion of the plunger, a crack is initiated and fracture of the materials of the elements of the contact pair occurs. The problem of the equilibrium of the hub of a friction pair with a crack nucleus reduces to solving a system of non-linear singular integrodifferential equations with a Cauchy-type kernel. The normal and shear forces in the zone where the crack originates are found from the solution of this system of equations. The condition for the appearance of a crack is formulated, taking account of the criterion of the limit traction of the bonds in the material. A problem for the plunger of a friction pair as applied to a borehole sucker rod pump is considered as an example. In conclusion, the case when there are several arbitrarily distributed rectilinear bridged cracks, with bonds between the crack faces in the end zone, close to the contact surface of the hub is investigated.  相似文献

Under study are the boundary value problems describing the equilibrium of twodimensional elastic bodies with thin anisotropic weakly curved inclusions in presence of separations. The latter implies the existence of a crack between the inclusion and the matrix. Nonlinear boundary conditions in the form of inequalities are imposed on the crack faces that exclude mutual penetration of the crack faces. This leads to the formulation of the problems with unknown contact area. The passage to limits with respect to the rigidity parameters of the thin inclusions is inspected. This paper is concerned with the analysis of equilibrium problems for two‐dimensional elastic bodies with thin rigid inclusions and cracks. Inequality‐type boundary conditions are imposed at the crack faces providing a mutual non‐penetration between the crack faces. A rigid inclusion may have a delamination, thus forming a crack with non‐penetration between the opposite faces. We analyze variational and differential problem formulations. Different geometrical situations are considered, in particular, a crack may be parallel to the inclusion as well as the crack may cross the inclusion, and also a deviation of the crack from the rigid inclusion is considered. We obtain a formula for the derivative of the energy functional with respect to the crack length for considering this derivative as a cost functional. A boundary value problem describing the equilibrium of a two-dimensional linear elastic body with a thin rectilinear elastic inclusion and possible delamination is considered. The stress and strain state of the inclusion is described using the equations of the Euler–Bernoulli beam theory. Delamination means the existence of a crack between the inclusion and the elastic matrix. Nonlinear boundary conditions preventing crack face interpenetration are imposed on the crack faces. As a result, problem with an unknown contact domain is obtained. The problem is solved numerically by applying an iterative algorithm based on the domain decomposition method and an Uzawa-type algorithm for solving variational inequalities. Numerical results illustrating the efficiency of the proposed algorithm are presented.  相似文献

We study the elastic equilibrium of a closed infinite circular cylindrical shell with a system of surface cracks of identical length and depth. We use the method of singular integral equations together with the modeling of solid matter in the plane of a part-through crack by irregularly distributed “line springs”. We conduct a numerical analysis of the variation of the relative stress intensity factor at the center of a crack as a function of the parameters of a crack and the number of cracks.
