The grinding of a mixture containing kaolinite and CsF was carried out by three different techniques, short manual grinding, Fisher mechanical mortar and Retsch ball mill. In addition to different cesium aluminium silicates which were detected by X-ray powder diffraction, a new type of intercalation complex was identified by FTIR spectroscopy. The X-ray diffractogram of this complex did not show any basal spacing, which may characterize the complex but the 0.715 nm characteristic peak of the untreated kaolinite became very weak. The Retsch ball mill led to a slight destruction of the kaolinite and the formation of small amounts of the new intercalation complex. The delamination of book-like kaolinite assemblages was observed after the manual and Fisher mortar grindings. In the latter grinding techniques the kaolin-like layers persisted and served as the framework for the intercalation complexes. Received: 4 February 1998 Accepted: 11 March 1998  相似文献

To investigate changes on the physicochemical characteristics of wheat straw by mechanical ultrafine grinding, wheat straw powders of four different particle sizes and distributions were produced using a sieve-based Retsch ZM100 grind mill and CJM-SY-B ultrafine vibration grind mill. Changes on the microstructure and physicochemical characteristics of the different powders were assessed by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometry, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and relevant standard laboratory analysis methods. Ultrafine grinding reduced the crystallite size and crystallinity of the wheat straw. New surfaces were exposed on the ultrafine powder with high levels of cellulose/hemicelluloses components but there was no apparent change in chemical structure. Wheat straw powders were smaller in size but had a higher bulk density (from 0.19 to 0.54 g/mL) and angle of repose (from 46.02° to 55.61°) and slide (from 37.26° to 41.00°). The hydration properties (water-holding capacity and swelling capacity) decreased with reduction in particle size of the wheat straw. Both the sieve-based and ultrafine powder exhibited a good ability to remove Pb2+ and Cd2+ and there was marginal improvement when using the ultrafine powder. The thermal stability of the ultrafine powder measured by thermogravimetric analysis decreased significantly because of the low cellulose crystallinity.  相似文献

Chemical and physical processes which take place in the Carlo Erba ANA 1400 automatic nitrogen analyzer were investigated. The instrument and its sampler were modified. Several drums with samples can be stacked upon each other for automatic analysis.About 100 analyses can be carried out in a working day, and the instrument can be loaded with further 100 or more samples for automatic analysis overnight.One analysis takes 5 min and the analyst can present a result within less than 10 min after that he has obtained the specimen for analysis. A minimum of labor is required. The instrument does clean work, requires very little laboratory space, and causes no environmental hazards.A series of 20 analyses of pure organic nitrogen-containing compounds gave a standard deviation from theory of 0.08% N. Examples of nitrogen determinations in mineral oils are reported. A cyclone mill, Retsch ZM1 was found to grind 200 g of grains, hay, peat, and other materials of agricultural interest in about 1 min to a powder, fine enough for analysis with the ANA. Examples of such analyses are reported.The method can favorably replace the Kjeldahl method in many instances of industrial, agricultural, and food analysis.  相似文献

A comparative study of the performance of liquid chromatography (LC)-atmospheric pressure chemical ionisation (APCI)-mass spectrometry (MS) and gas chromatography (GC)-mass spectrometry techniques for the determination of resin and fatty acids from paper mill process waters was carried out. These compounds are responsible for the high toxicity of paper mill effluents and little research has been carried out regarding their analysis using mass spectrometric techniques. To prove the usability of GC and LC-MS, 16 treated and untreated water samples of recycle, kraft and pulp paper mills were analysed and good agreement was observed as regards to compounds detected and corresponding concentrations. This paper also reports the limits of detection, recoveries, reproducibility, linearity and precision using the two methods. GC-MS presented better selectivity and lower detection limits (below 0.2 microg/l), but derivatization of the extracts and the short life of derivatives (12-24 h) made the technique tedious and prone to high variations. Although LC-APCI-MS presented coelution of the non-aromatic resin acids, it also showed good sensitivity (limits of detection <3 microg/l) and permitted the detection of resin and fatty acids at microg/l level. In addition, since samples could be directly injected to the chromatographic system, LC-APCI-MS was proven as a powerful technique for quick and unequivocal quality control during papermaking.  相似文献

1,4-Dicarbonyl-1,4-dihydronaphthalene ( 1 ) was synthesized by the dehydrochlorination reaction of 1,4-dihydronaphthalene-1,4-dicarbonyl chloride with triethylamine and obtained as its very dilute solution, but it easily polymerized in the concentration as high as 0.1 mol/L to give its polymer. 1 generated in situ by the dehydrochlorination reaction of 1,4-dihydronaphthalene-1,4-dicarbonyl chloride in a deoxygenated toluene polymerized alternatingly with benzoquinones such as 2-dodecylthio-p-benzoquinone, 2,5-di(tert-butyl)-p-benzoquinone, p-benzoquinone, and 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-p-benzoquinone, and with benzoquinone diimines such as N,N′-diethoxycarbonyl-p-benzoquinone diimine, N,N′-dibenzoyl-p-benzoquinone diimine, and N,N′-diphenyl-p-benzoquinone diimine to give aromatic polyesters and polyamides, respectively. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 芳烃制备高附加值精细化学品芳香醇(9-芴甲醇),一直以来存在产物选择性低以及合成成本高等问题。基于此,本文主要综述了芳烃酰基化后还原合成芳香醇的工艺,包括第一步采用Friedel-Crafts酰基化反应、Vilsmeier-Haack反应、Reimer-Tiemann反应、Duff反应等过程将芳烃酰基化合成芳香醛/酮;第二步通过金属氢化物还原、催化加氢还原、活泼金属还原、Cannizarro反应、Meerwein-Ponndorf-Verley还原反应等过程将芳香醛/酮还原合成芳香醇。在总结和归纳各种工艺过程优缺点的基础上,提出了合理的芳香醇制备工艺,为9-芴甲醇产业化制备技术的开发提供帮助。  相似文献

The thermal reaction of phencyclone (2) with a 1:1 mixture of 1,8-pyrenequinone (4) and 1,6-pyrenequinone (5) yields 2:1 adducts only of compounds 2 and 4. The observed polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon 8 is formed via double Diels-Alder addition of 2 to 4, and the polycyclic ketone 9 arises from a combination of Diels-Alder and hetero-Diels-Alder reactions of 2 and 4. In contrast, Lewis acid-catalyzed reactions of 2, 4, and 5 give 2:1 adducts only of 2 and 5. The chief product, polycyclic diketone 10, is derived from a double hetero-Diels-Alder addition of 2 to 5. X-ray analysis of compound 8 shows it to be an exceptionally large polycyclic aromatic arch, and the X-ray structure of 10 reveals it to be a chiral molecular tweezer.  相似文献

In the classical amidation between aromatic ketones and amines, 2.0 equivalents of amines are necessarily required to gain satisfying yields. The specific role of the amine in the direct amidation already puzzled us for a long time. In this work, we disclosed that the amine acts as both reactant and catalyst. Specifically, the determination of reaction intermediates revealed the full mechanism, based on which, the introduction of one equivalent base in the amidation is showcased here that a high yield (∼95 %) can be afforded using only 1.1 equiv. of amine.  相似文献

In this paper, multicomponent reaction of amine, carbon disulfide and fluoronitrobenzene is reported for the synthesis of nitrophenyl methylcarbamodithioate derivatives. The method is based on the nucleophilic attack of the activated methylcarbamodithioate salt to fluoronitrobenzene. Several starting materials are tested and successfully produced the corresponding nitrophenyl methylcarbamodithioate. A possible mechanism for the reaction is suggested.  相似文献

High molecular weight aromatic polyetherketone (PEK) was found to react with 4,4′-difluorobenzophenone (DFB) in the presence of potassium carbonate in benzophenone or diphenyl sulfone at 300°C, yielding low molecular weight PEK with fluorophenyl end groups, while neither polyetheretherketone (PEEK) nor poly-thioetheretherketoneketone was found to react under similar conditions. Reaction model experiments showed that 4-fluoroben-zophenone reacts with potassium carbonate at 300°C to yield benzoyldiphenyl ether and that benzoyldiphenyl ether undergoes spontaneous trans-etherification in the presence of potassium carbonate at 300°C. These results indicate that the overall reaction yielding PEK of reduced molecular weight consists essentially of DFB oligomerization followed by trans-etherification between the DFB oligomer and PEK. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Mono-, di-, and tetraiodothiacalix[4]arenes 13-16 have been successfully synthesized for the first time by the Griess reaction of diazonium salts of the corresponding aminothiacalix[4]arenes 4-7. X-ray crystallography reveals that monoiodinated compound 13 adopts a distorted pinched cone conformation, in which the three hydroxy groups and the iodine atom form a pseudo-cyclic hydrogen bonding. On the other hand, tetraiodinated compound 16 adopts a 1,3-alternate conformation presumably due to the steric hindrance and dipole repulsion between the iodine atoms.  相似文献
